Hacked? Sold to users by the hackers? Or sold by the original owners?
Thoses old accounts are valuable and shouldn't imo been sold... Ofc since there is a rule about it, let's see the admins reaction
How much is worth old account with 5 post on it even if it is 6 years old? Does it really that valuable?

it is.. many people would like to have in possession a very old account with 2 digits ID, in the other hand here is an example of what could be done with an old account with a high rank

Have a look at this one, it stinks.

stincks too much... Undecided

The only collateral I have is this account, sorry I do not have anything else to offer.

Your account worth 0 cent...
Your odds to have the money here is ~0%, could you post a proof about the coinbase bought money?
7705  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: September 11, 2016, 08:40:04 PM
And maybe you could add the average number of char per post would be nice Cheesy
That's actually a good idea. I think I might do that.

Indeed it is a great  idea to know the average of char in the non-quoted texts for each account

Haha or the number of spelling errors per post Grin now that would show post quality. If you could implement that you would be a rich man from tips knightdk achow101

7707  Other / Meta / Re: Move jr member to Member on: September 11, 2016, 08:24:12 PM
I was wondering why when I started from newbie. I got 14 activities added per week.

you probably registered and started posting in the middle of activity period so you only waited for 1 week for the new activity period to earn additional 14 activity. all activity period is in 2 weeks interval so it is not possible to gain faster activity than other members

This. Many people who weren't aware of the activity system made the same error.

When you've the necessary potential activity and has just reached a new rank with your post count, maybe you'll have to wait a bit until you can see your changed rank.

It only takes few hours to see your new rank, generally ~1 hour

7716  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Breaks $600, Bullish Indicators May Take it Higher on: September 07, 2016, 09:01:52 PM
Hey we seeing some good things happening all over lately.. the Japanese seem to embrace Bitcoin now, and the panic has set things in motion in the

USA as they realize that Trump might be the next president. This is the start of many good things to come, if we could just avoid another BIG hack or

some other shit thing that might push down the price.  Roll Eyes
Trump being next president is not really factor we count when talking about bitcoin price. It is placebo effect at most.
It doesn't matter as POTUS has very minimal effect on economic laws and bitcoin.

would agree with the placebo effect, don't think that when he get elected (if ever) this could affect the price.. how many illegal migrants are using btc for the moment?
7717  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk downtime, or just me? on: September 05, 2016, 10:54:13 PM
When you not sure if a website is offline for all people you can easily check it with a website like this: http://isitdownorjust.me/bitcointalk-org/. Other websites can do something similar for you but you can google that by yourself.

dunno if theses sites will give an accurate results since we could load bitcointalk but we can't access it

Yes, there was a DDoS attack.
thanks for the answer (couldn't say it before because it got hanged cuz of the attack)

Please people Stay on-topic and stop asking random questions that can be answered in a separate topic like this

Can somebody explain the purpose of buying/selling accounts on here? Don't we all have the same access to browse
7719  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: August 27, 2016, 02:00:49 PM
Can i ask you to not delete your previous post and to keep it so people including me could check it when needed and retrace back the number of sig camp, the manager...Etc for curiosity and stats. Thanks.
I don't think it will confuse anyone if we precise in the OP that the last table is the complete and most updated one.
(maybe an alternative solution is to keep the closed one at the end or in a separate table if anyone interested)
Personally I want to know all the previous campaign since its start

Thanks pals for the answer
7720  Other / Off-topic / Re: Help needed about paypal on: August 27, 2016, 01:47:36 PM
i don't think my answer will help you too much since i lost my money there too when i used a fake informations, don't know even how to withdraw it from there without using a bank...
did you try connecting from your pc?
the phone you put in your account when you registered first time should be the one to use to pass this, hope the next step isn't verifying your address/ ID...
paypal is a real nightmare for many users around the world...

would see the members answers here too

That is because most of you TRY HARD to break their rules.. then get caught.
Then come here and complain all year round.. topic after topic.

And what is "I had a Paypal Stealth Account ?"
And now they want you to verify your "Identity" ?  Cheesy
Hello my friends.. Your screwed ROFL

Then inexplicably you failed to figure out that using ANY virtual currency with Paypal is against their TOS ?
It simply amazes my balls off how you all play dumb about that year after year after.
When soooooooooo many of you get caught.. AND TOLD !

THEN your account gets flagged and locked (limited)
And you are wondering why you can't change your login details ? hahhaha

The raw stupidity on display is mind bending.  Shocked

@GamingBro
Or the OP can use the search button or search Bitcointalk via Google.
After all like i just said these same exact topics are posted all year round endlessly.

Calm down spoetnik i didn't blame anyone nor came to cry in the forums saying paypal robbed me... I made a mistake years ago by not using my real ID and I assume
Saying pp is a nightmare because it is obviously for the guys breaking their rules but also for another part of legit users...
