How can anyone even discuss to allow children to play gambling games. Gambling, even for many adults is too dangerous .. It is just absurd!
Well there are a lot of bitcoin users here who are addicted gamblers and hence the thread exists. Even some of them are under18 and they can still gamble because their identity is anonymous in the internet and that their parents are not supervising their internet activity. More under 18 age are gambling on bitcoin even its illegal in my country to gamble hehe,im sure government on my country will not surf all gambling sites and even they block that gambling sites there still mamy who can access by using other IP network bypass and anonymously using bitcoins. Here in my country they don't care if they are going to gamble regardless if it is with bitcoin or not. Because you can just find some basketball games with bet. And the teams that are fighting for it are the so called 'kids division' and that is starting the mind of those kids that gamble is fine. I'm really against this type of game plays that it is associated with betting. That situation is not so serious when you relate it to gambling, it's just normal in every sport that you have to put bets to put your best effort to win. It's not similar with sports betting in the internet where you can gamble all you want even in a daily basis. Kids should not learn sports betting as it's big boy's game. |

A lot of people here gamble to become rich, but some do it for fun.
The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.
I liked your answer. I also do the same Wow if i woke up with 50M dollars.. I would not gamble it. I would just simply go on a long vacation and educate myself how to grow it and multiply it. If I have that amount - i will go to Law School... and invest in myself some more. good thinking mate finding more ways to grow your money would be much more fun and it will somehow move you away from gambling especially if you find that way from your interest it will focus your mind in what you love and make you more successful. I agree with this because once you've already find the way to increase your financial without gambling it will very good thing to do than to play gambling at all because in gambling we don't have any assurance if we can really earn here in a very short time. In my case if I have a lot of money and the love of gambling is still with me then I would surely not hesitate to gamble. If you want to gamble then you should because it is not wrong unless you are hurting other people with it like family.
True, it will be become wrong if your family became affected in your addiction in gambling. But once you know how to manage money and your self and you know how to control your greediness. I think there will be no problem at all. It's more that bitcoin has no limit. Cash can be used only face to face and for limited amounts (otherwise it's a crime) whereas bitcin can be used in Australia to send money to the USA. Rather practical no? xD
It's actually depends on the purpose of using the money (Bitcoin and cash). They have can be useful in any transactions however bitcoin is just limited to online transaction as it is primary design for online transaction only. If you already win, don't play more or you will just end up losing. Control yourself from both winning and losing. Don't be greedy if you are winning.
