7721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC.com Be Trusted? on: April 20, 2017, 07:11:47 AM
I have used them myself and I'm still using them for several months now, I must say that I'm very satisfied with their services when It comes to the Web wallet but the phone wallet is definitely a little buggy. The wallet was previously known as Blocktrail and now It got acquired by Bitmain so there is nothing to be worried about.

I can only recommend downloading the PDF file they gave you when you first made the wallet, It should help you recover your wallet In case the service close or they go down for one reason or another.
7722  Economy / Exchanges / Re: what is the best and more cheapest way to send eth to bitcoin in coinbase? on: April 20, 2017, 06:43:55 AM
Coinbase launched Gdax sometime ago, you should be able to sign it there using your coinbase account and trade there, as far as I know, they have zero fees and a ETH/BTC ticker.
7723  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Lost my phone number to login COINBASE on: April 20, 2017, 06:29:23 AM
You didn't mention the type of 2FA you were using but with a simple googling, you could've find out the answer your answer: https://support.coinbase.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2488794-trouble-with-2-step-verification#SMS
7724  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk Escrows - Trade Safely! on: April 19, 2017, 05:32:07 PM
I'm looking to start escrowing to maybe make a few bucks, will do trades for no fee. Will have a tip wallet though in case anyone feels generous. Any tips on where to post about this? I have confirmed trades on reddit which is my only verification right now.

In case you didn't notice, you are a newbie with 6 posts, your trades in Reddit means nothing as the account could be a bought one. In other words, no one is going to use an escrow service that has no trade/trust history and made his account a few weeks ago.
7725  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: April 19, 2017, 05:24:32 PM
Which one of options in OP is the best for US residents?

BitPay one or Shift card (coinbase). I suggest reading this article to see the pros and cons for each one of them: https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-debit-card-compared-reviewed/
7726  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitpay payment didn't have been registered with retailer on: April 19, 2017, 04:52:35 PM
It definitely won't be coming from BitPay because they are just a payment processor and nothing else. It's like saying you bought from Amazon, you got an empty box or the wrong item and you are expecting PayPal to refund you instead of Amazon. As long as the sent the funds to the correct address, they should be able to check and give you your goods or refund you.
7727  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Cheapest way to get Ledger Nano S ? on: April 19, 2017, 04:23:30 PM
The shipping could be high due to import tariffs being passed on to consumers.

(I don't know if this is true btw.)

I heard it from a brazilian who said brazil's import tariffs made it impossible to order things online, without paying a ridiculous sum of money.

If its true, buying a ledger nano s, could be a question of how to best avoid those import tariffs.

It's not high because of that, they are offering only USP Express which have a high price by nature and that's the case for all countries. Unlike other countries, I don't have the ordinary shipping option on the website and that's the issue I'm facing right now.
7728  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Where could I exchange a small amount of BTC (>£10) for PayPal GBP? on: April 18, 2017, 05:05:04 PM
I don't think you have any chance trading it with someone on the forums as you are a newbie and never done previous trades. It would be better for you If you use a service such as Virwox.com, the fees are high but that's probably your only solution.
7729  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitaccess ATM? on: April 18, 2017, 04:56:35 PM
I want to know something regarding the same ATM, If the limits are 1500 GBP per phone/day and I exceed them, they will ask me for the verification process after I pay them or before? I mean what happens If someone don't have his documents with him and they ask him after his send the bitcoins, that would be kinda unfair to not tell him until he send..
7730  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: April 18, 2017, 04:12:20 PM
I came across a new bitcoin debit card called Paycent: https://paycent.io/ I guess you could only reserve your place for now but If they ever deliver but they are promising in the website, I doubt anyone would use any other service, I suggest you keep an eye on it Smiley

7732  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to organize your crypto data on: April 17, 2017, 04:46:48 PM
Do you have your own spreadsheet to keep updated with the crypto world or do you use any interesting tool that already exist in the web? If so which one is that? Willing to share it?  It seems that tools for managing crypto data/info is missing?

I usually keep an eye on both Coindesk.com and Cointelegraph for the news regarding bitcoin, CoinATMradar for knowing how much ATMs are out there and how well bitcoin is spreading around the world while I check coin.dance to see the statistics such as the proposals (SegWit vs BU) or the exchange volumes etc.

7734  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Paybis exchange? on: April 17, 2017, 12:33:47 PM
The website appears to be legit though i am yet to try them but when i checked https://paybis.com/buy-perfectmoney-with-paypal i discovered that verification is required however it is not stated the type of verification process.
I will give them a try this week and post my review on how it all goes.
I forgot to add that they have a good support for customers.

I asked a few questions the support as well, they are very good. As for the verification, when you are the one spending bitcoin (or other irreversible payment method) a verification is not needed but when you are the one using PayPal or something else reversible then a verification is required. Keep us updated please!
7735  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Shapeshift.io possible Scam Alert! Read my story. on: April 17, 2017, 11:42:52 AM
Unless you traded thousands of dollars, I don't think they scammed honestly because they are reputable company but like every other company, they have their issues. I suggest continuing sending support tickets and posting here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=717973.560 . It's very likely that you will get an answer in the thread as OP look active there.
7736  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The easiest way USD -> BTC? on: April 17, 2017, 10:39:56 AM
What is the best and the most cost efficient way to buy BTC with USD credit/debit card?
I'm not conserned do much about privacy, but would like to avoid wire transfer.

Using services such as CoinBase or LocalBitcoins is probably one of the easier ways. You may get a better rate with CoinBase. You could also check to see if there are any Bitcoin ATMs in your area.

I have checked Local Bitcoins, and there was no option for buying Bitcoins with credit card or paypal. Also, there are no Bitcoin ATMs near my residence. Is there any other option?

Where do you live exactly? you should find a lot of people selling/buying bitcoin with PayPal on Localbitcoins and for the ATMs, I suggest taking a look at CoinATMradar you didn't do it already.
7737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to cashout an Itune cards? on: April 17, 2017, 09:34:28 AM
I'm not aware of any sites that does that because usually they sell and not buy. I suggest taking a look at the digital goods section, you will definitely find some buyers with decent rates.
7738  Economy / Exchanges / Paybis exchange? on: April 17, 2017, 08:10:05 AM
URL:  https://paybis.com/

I never tried it but I saw some people wearing their signature on the forums and I thought I should ask about it. It's probably one of the few exchanges that accept multiple payment methods including gift cards without the need of verification (If you are sending bitcoin). If someone here used it, I'd appreciate an honest review/feedback.
7739  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC.com Transaction Accelerator on: April 17, 2017, 07:54:55 AM
So, let me get this straight, you wanted to send roughly $6 and they wanted to charge you $6 to do that. Wow, where do I sign up for this kind of rape fest?

This service is not meant to use for small transactions logically (you have ViaBTC for that) and as I already mentioned, the fee that BTC accelerator take is based on the current btc price, TX size and some other factors.
7740  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Asset Management Platforms: Would you invest in ICONOMI? on: April 17, 2017, 07:16:44 AM
I believe that It will be a very successful project, once the platform launch In a few weeks/months (ICNX) people shouldn't feel the need on investing in altcoins directly anymore, instead, simply buy ICNX and sit and sell when they feel like they made enough profit.
