Here's the fact about Bitcointalk, most forum users aren't here to bond or create any connection with others, their only purpose here is to make money that's why any attempt to start a community project fails and alt account creation and farming, Spam and scam, all selfish activities one can think of is at its rise daily. Before anyone think about starting a community project he needs to ask himself are the forum users showing any positive sign towards involvement?.

Funny this is actually your very first started topic since you joined forum back in March 25, 2018 guess you must be looking for merit badly but am sorry to tell you, you won't get one with this type of posts.

Hope you know Twitteraudit is a service company and they have expense, doing such act above isn't moral beside they provided an option to get free reaudit from other users who have paid subscription why not support them for the service they provide?.

These topic has already been discussion severally and can now be considered a low topic, lock thread and if you need free reaudit, use the search button and you'll find threads offering that.

Personally I hve tried to do that but it wasn't successful because i notice users can't start thread on the Other language/location board any more (don't know the reason though).
About moderators, I don't think theymos will find it difficult to find one. We have many Nigerians on this forum and most of them are very active, I spent close to 5hrs daily on the platform I won't mind moderatoring the board and if I don't do it right, I can be removed and someone else will be appointed.

Since the introduction of crypto gamble related projects the major news has been the advantage it has over the traditional gamble companies we have. I started this topics so you can air your views on some inconveniences you experience with gambling with cryptocurrency on crypto gamble platforms. You don't have to mention the companies/project name, just state the inconveniences you experience or have seen and if you have some idea on possible solution, that's will be great too.

This thread might be of help to crypto gamble companies so they can work on those inconveniences and make your experience in gambling with cryptocurrency more fun and enjoyable.

Edited: When I say inconveniences, I mean wickedness or undesirable situations you face when gambling with crypto related projects/companies.

It's called politics beside their fight adds more fun to the forum. To view more of this type of posts you need to visit the right boards. Meta and reputation isn't the right board to learn more about Bitcoin and other blockchain related stuff. Spend more time in Technically discussions board and other boards that can be used for learning like Alternative/Bitcoin discussion, B&H etc.

Here's just the fact, we're all humans and most times we do things unconsciously. You can't take out the fact before you consider a post as a quality one you have to see it as one too. That been said, when you're active on a particular board and always come across repeated quality post from a particular user or selected few, you unconsciously become a merit fan of that/those user sending them merit almost daily. Take DdmrDdmr as an example, I'm so used to his quality posting that if I had the power all his post deserve at least 1merit. Don't think he has ever made a shitpost.

That been said if the users you mention above are sending themselves merit via quality posts, I see no crime there.

What else can we do, it's too late to quit. Personally I'll continue being optimistic remembering those who bought bitcoin in 2009 and HODL until 2017 saw massive profit and the possibility of that repeating itself is there. Also the technology behind bitcoin is the reason i do have faith in bitcoin becoming more successful.

Not a curse but more of an easy come easy go process. If you have participated in ponzi related business you'll understand that money you don't work for goes easily without been used usefully. Lack of planning is the reason those millionaire become poor in future.

As a Nigerian i can't say no to this. Even if we can't get our own local board, the Other languages/locations board should be opened to new topic so user who don't have local boards especially africa countries can make use of it. I have sent PM to board moderator asking why board was locked and if it can be reopened but got no reply.

Africa is one of the continent embracing the blockchain technology, theymos please look into this issue. Give some Africa language (country) a board  especially Nigeria or reopen Other languages/locations so we can start new topics.

That's very true, i watch a documentary once on how crypto gambling is breaking barrier in Africa country like kanye and uganda the youths can now gamble freely wthout the fear of getting arrested or traced. The blockchain technology in collaboration with cryptocurrency makes everything it get applied on looks more attractive, easier and dencentralized, gambling is benefiting from that.

Funny reply, so what about those using trump's image without his knowledge all over the internet?. If you want people to stop using your photos on the internet without your permission then you need to stop posting them on the web and better still avoid using the web. Like previous users have said, i don't see any of the claims above as plagiarism, when you commit plagiarism you steal people's work and claim it as yours and fair use of your picture isn't plagiarism period.

For you to send more smerit than earned merit that means you have to be a merit source or hoard smerit received from current month and then merit user in the next month so your smerit sent will be more than your merit receive that doesn't sound fair to me and as for the merit sources aspect, it is more of a duty. Don't you think the formula needs reviewing?

This January stats isn't correct, for starters I'm not included in list when i sent out about 50+ smerits I know that because currently I'm out of smerits and at the start of January I had just 56 merit but now have 168merits that means I received 112merits and 56smerit and I have sent all. Don't enjoy hoarding smerit I see them as iability.

With this stats I have provided, you mean I don't have a spot in the most generous users giving smerits? I doubt so.

The idea behind this suggestion was to help fight false comment and btc risked feedbacks. As of current the risk btc feedbacks doesn't affect your account that much so people tend to leave false feedbacks there but with this my suggestion it'll force users especially DT members to leave accurate figure or risk been blacklisted and red tagged too. The option to disable it from showing on some board could be enabled for privacy reasons but it'll always show on your profile. Not saying the idea is that great but i am seeing some positive outcome.

Yeah maybe a better explanation is what the nay sayers need to understand better. If it can be implemented and managed properly it'll add more value to the trust system

Note: For risk amount to show on your profile it has to be from a DT member not just any forum user and if DT member are caught giving false risked bitcoin amount they'll be blacklist from DT and get red tagged by other DT members. Multiple tagged from the same scam won't count toward risked btc value

These might help reduce the level of false feedback from DT members and those tagged can alway appeal their cases if the risked btc value is a false one.

Got some extra cash (after buying some major coins) from selling all my altcoins found in my alt ETH address thought about lending them on forum or use a lending site. For the past 3hours i have been searching through forum for the best escrow to use. It took me sometime to calculate how many BTC each escrow have successfully handled then this suggestion came into my mind, What if the forum displays the total risked bitcoin amount on users profile so it'll be easier to choose who to transact with based on amount.

Example;
Positive= Trust: 150: -0 / +20 BTC: 250
Negative=Trust: 50: -5 / +0 BTC: 0.5

Yes i know the amount can be manipulatd, so is the trust scores too but we still use it. Showing the total risked amount on profile will make it a little easier to decide if to trade with that user not just because his trust scores is green but for his total risked btc amount.

Although theymos advice not to depend totally on the trust system i.e always carryout personal research  that been said, displaying it on profile adds more colour. What do you think?

What my continent have failed to realized is that power won't be given to you unless you fight for it. If the world was a fair one most African countries would had been among world leading country but instead we get treated like slaves and our wealth is been enjoy by other continents. What a shame

From the marvel movie "Blackpanther" i believe the solution to the continent (Africa) problem is to act as the past Kings of wakanda did with their natural resource: Vibranium, they should learn to manage their resources themselves and later they can sell finish products to the outside world.

About speaking out, isn't that what I'm doing? I choose not to mention names unless it's really necessary. When elephants are fighting as an Ant it's best advice to stay on the sidelines and observe not jumping right into such a fight. That's exactly what I'm doing. When the time is right I'll jump in. For now just like the Ant don't think anyone will take me seriously for what I have to say. I'm still new to the system.

Reading their feedbacks you'll discover they're letting their emotions get the best of them so what I was saying is, I'm trying to stay safe who knows I might anger them then they leave a negative feedback of wrong quoting or not starting my sentence with capital letters
