Could a moderator please review my account and hopefully unban me? If a mod replies, I will send them my account profile. Thanks!

Post your name here. People can make their own minds up whether you were spamming or not. Was it Iamyourdad by any chance?
7762  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is this website legit? on: November 14, 2014, 07:23:29 PM
Looks like a scam. Always search the url here to see if it gets any hits. Looks like they were using bots to spam it as there's loads of threads trashcanned which is never a good sign.

Scam accusation here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=732773.0
7763  Other / New forum software / Re: Simple Image Upload on: November 14, 2014, 07:14:00 PM
A waste of time? Takes a minute. I doubt an upload feature will be added here. Seems unnecessary to me.
7764  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you sell your account for $$$? on: November 14, 2014, 06:35:45 PM
1000BTC Cheesy

I could retire on that quite comfortably.

Depends how old you are and how good you are with money  Cheesy. even that amount of money could possibly not last that long if you've got no other income.
Just a question have people actually sold their accounts for money?

Yes.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=812004.0

The Sr and Hero accounts can get good money for signature campaigns. There's also the angle of using a trusted account to scam if you're of an evil bent.
What a world we live in where people just wanna scam other people nonstop lol I never thought our world would come to the point where people sell their social media accounts so they can scam other people lol What a world we live in lol

Most people just buy accounts to use for signature campaigns to be honest, though occasionally they're used to try scam but luckily they usually get busted before they can. You can scam from any account though so I'd be very weary around here if you don't want to get scammed.

When you say opinionated, I bet what you actually mean is he has a different opinion than mine and I don't like it. He often makes very valid points, though he goes about it in a overbearing and aggressive way.

And no, i share similar opinions to him on many things but he goes about getting his point across in the wrong way. he is highly aggressive and i just find his personality a huge turn off.

I can see why people wouldn't like his aggressive style but that's just his thing. Plenty of other more passive atheist youtbers to choose from I suppose  Cheesy.

I am dreaming of one day becoming LEGENDARY or even a HERO member but I don't really understand how to get your activity level up or what affects it increasing

Read this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0
And this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495948.0

but basically you get 14 activity points per two week period. Takes about a year and a half to reach Hero status providing you make at least one post in all the two week periods.

You mean upload them directly to the forum? What's wrong with just uploading them to imgur?
7768  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: DirectBet Soccer Prediction Game *** Win Free Bets ! *** Free to Enter ! on: November 14, 2014, 04:26:24 PM
Can we choose the same score as a previous user? If so:

1-1.
7769  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you sell your account for $$$? on: November 14, 2014, 04:01:49 PM
Can you talk more clear : what sell?  Embarrassed. I don't understand what are you saying?

I think people are assuming he means their btctalk forum account.

Skyharbor - Evolution: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIL7UsNXmAo

Check 'em out if you like atmospheric progressive math metal.

Listening to "Ne Obliviscaris - Devour Me, Colossus (Part I): Blackholes" right now. Must be the greatest fucking song released this year.  Cheesy

Woah, I loved their debut album and had no idea they'd even released a new one. If anyone loves progressive metal check them out. Lots of violins and folk influence.

Their debut was awesome but this new album is nowhere are good, but I've only listened to it twice so far. Maybe it's a grower.

This guy is hilarious

No, I am hilarious.

That shirt is fucking garish though.

7772  Other / Meta / Re: Avata on: November 14, 2014, 12:57:37 PM
When we will be able to use avatars again they should be available to only high status members I think. Hero and up.

Why? I can understand disallowing Newbs to have them to limit impersonation, but limiting it to Hero seems a bit extreme.

So avatars are used to hack the forum. But I'm wondering how?

If you allow users to just upload .jpg files with certain dimensions, nothing will happen I guess.

I don't know the full details but I think malicious code was uploaded or implemented somehow.
7773  Other / New forum software / Re: Commitment to your avatar! on: November 14, 2014, 12:52:38 PM
I think most of this is unnecessarily complicating things, not to mention I can only imagine the amount of threads we'll get in Meta and everywhere else "when will my avatar get bigger" "why has my avatar got a border" etc etc.

I think it will be better if we don't allow to put Avatar newbie or junior member.

So it will solve most of the problem of impersonate any user.

I think this would be an easier solution but people still shouldn't be fooled by just an avatar.
7774  Other / New forum software / Re: Verified account option? Against people having multiple (troll) accounts. on: November 14, 2014, 12:48:08 PM
Having multiple accounts isn't against the rules. This would just unfairly punish the innocent who have alt accounts for genuine reasons, nor would it work to stop trolls anyway.
7775  Other / Meta / Re: Why does this forum use SMF? on: November 14, 2014, 12:45:52 PM
A entire new forum is being built from scratch so you shouldn't have to worry. Please see the New Forum Software section.
7776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did bitcoin obtain it's value? on: November 14, 2014, 10:59:15 AM

Because of China allegedly buying a lot of the coins that pushed the price up.
7777  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2014-11-13 Bloomberg.com - Bitcoin Is a Payment System, Not an Investment: Woo on: November 14, 2014, 09:47:45 AM
His views seem to be contradictory. Why can we not invest in this payment system? It's the coins that power it so obviously there's great investment potential so I really don't understand his logic. Fucking bankers chatting shit as usual.
7778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did bitcoin obtain it's value? on: November 14, 2014, 09:43:43 AM
This might seem a bit obvious, but it would be so much easier to get bitcoin if I got paid in it.  Now to convince my boss...

If you can't convince your boss why not just buy some with your wage packet every month? It's not exactly difficult to buy bitcoins from the forum here and you can bypass all the bs with exchanges. Use an escrow if you're hesitant about sending money.

It is just me or the photos are not loading properly? I can only see top of each picture and rest is  gone...

Yeah, does that for me too. Maybe it's just because they're so large.
