Do any of you participate in ICOs that requires KYC (Know your Customer). We actually experienced this one on exchanges but how about in partipating in ICOs or just even in airdrop that requires KYC.
I think it depends as for me as they are many scams as well just getting your information. In some instances, we can be blind sometimes, mkay? I really do not join airdrops if it requires too needy to get your personal information.
I believe some people are not cautious as long as they can join airdrops. How about you? What are your thoughts about KYC in ICOS?
I don't join such bounty program or airdrop, it's to risky and not worth from a few cents that you are going to get, once they got your information you'll never know when it will end, they might sell it many time to a third party the rewards is not worth compare to the risk. |

I understand your concern three scam ico you've invested is really enough not to trust anymore of this Ico, but some of the best project or profitable coins now started in ICO and there are still on going profitable ICO in the making, the key is to be dilligent in finding the right ICO to invest. |

I'm not looking at the chart much being a long term holders but ethereum and bitcoin I believe are the two coins that quickly recover and this two coins has a huge impact in the market also, I'm not looking at my coin there are so many of it but not that much if they are recovering or not but I have a set sell order on them since I deposit a portion of my coin on various exchange.

I agree with your opinion, but we all have a limit to our patient on when is the right time to sell our coins, as long as you are comfortable with your decision and you can sleep with it, its ok to sell Bitcoin is a trading portfolio, there will be holders who will sell at loss or even at a profit.

I am extra suspicious of ICOs that are aggressively running ads on crypto websites or coinmarketcap.
And XYO was all over the place, it was insane.
The entire marketing strategy was a "come and get rich! not much time left!" type approach which screams desperation.
It is no surprise that they didn't receive the amount they wished and are now trying to secure more.
This greediness will ultimately make them fail.
For those of you that are getting screwed over because of this, you should start to plan ways to decrease your cost per token average to minimize your losses.
It might sound counter intuitive, but if there are further bonuses offered during this "gamma" sale, you should take advantages of it.
The best way is to wait for the ico to end, the tokens distributed, then pick them up for super cheap on a dex like IDEX.
Pumping in more money might seem crazy, but your goal is to make your own personal cost per token as cheap as possible so when you liquidate it, you can do it at a lower price point without significant losses overall.
I agree and people actually fall for this, another is giving a big bonus percentage at the start of the ico and after the ico is over, investors should be wise to see that this kind of Ico are just money generating, especially if they do not have something for the industry that will contribute for the advancement of cryptocurrency. |

You cannot sell your tokens if there is still no market for the tokens you are holding, wait for the token to get listed, or there is also an option to sell it in the marketplace by opening a thread for it, but you cannot sell it at ICO price, it should be much lower to attract buyers. |

I have seen so many signature in the forum and some of these signatures are good as i have been also visiting their website, btt forum and their telegram. The project they are also promoting are unique and most of it are promising project. However, this promising project will get compromise because the number of investors will compromised with the number of ICO being introduced. So the money of all the investors if it will be evenly distributed the ICO will not going to success because it could not raise more funds that is why i am raising this thread on why there are too many ICO? A great number of ICO's will increase the chance of the ICO's to fail.
Investors and supporters are now wise, I'm sure they have their own criteria what kind of Ico they are going to choose, we have so many investors in the ICO now, because they are diversifying their portfolio, I'm sure that they will invest in the right ICO even if there are a lot of ICO IN THE SEA |

I've been hodling my coins i think long enough that instead of grabbing my profits from it, I've been losing it. Like Ebtc and prl which really went high on January but unfortunately really low by now especially Ebtc. How will it know if it's time to sell it? And i really wanna learn that candle stick they've been using as guide on trading, but it can't seem to understand it, and don't know how to read those. And even if i took closer to it, can say where the price will go so it is really not helping me to decide. Maybe I'm just to slow to learn the candle by myself. Hayss
There are coins that goes up when it hit the market and some coins that went down, even stable coins are not safe from this scenario, the market is very volatile, that is why you need to study every coin that you are investing in, if they can still keep up with their development or the project is not moving. |

I agree with that, and other tokens from other platforms might transfer if Credits can prove that they are a better option than all the others, soon there will be or the ICO will double because of Credits soon to be launched platform. I hope that this summer the team will be able to attract large customers. This will have a good impact on the development of platform CREDITS. Credits have a good volume and a good trading in various exchange, they are already attracting a lot of people but we all know there are investors who will likely to invest when a project already has a platform to speak off, but I'm sure they already watching Credits and looking at its development. |
