7761  Other / Meta / Re: Buying account with defaulted loan on: May 29, 2018, 10:04:25 AM
purely theoretically, what will happen if you buy an account with a loan or with a defaulted loan?
First I would like to warn you that buying an account is discouraged. You are buying the rank which was supposed to be earned by the member. More importantly you are also buying the trust that the account has gained - which can lead to the buyer scamming others.

If the account has a defaulted loan then it needs to be paid back or settled with the lender - in order to get negative trust ratings removed.

Quote
You have to pay the loan?
Like I said, yes.

Quote
Or you can have a problem with police?
I am not sure if authorities are going to get involved but if locally crypto is well accepted then possibly yes if the lender has sued the borrower in case they have personal indetification details. More over in such case the new owner may want to repay the loan - which is going to end up in a messy situation because the original owner has run away.

Quote
Or your account will be banned?
No.
7762  Other / Meta / Re: Why was my Bitcointalk account deleted! on: May 29, 2018, 09:59:59 AM
Can you explain to me why my account was marked "Spam" and all my older post was deleted?
Because you have been plagiarizing content in order to make posts and to get paid from campaigns - is that something new in this forum?

I can ensure you did violate the rules of the forum and thus you need to leave the forum, get a life, get a new job and possibly get a partner and get laid. Grin

Shitposters always believe that shitposting for them is a right.
7763  Other / Meta / Re: Want to act as Bitcointalk police on: May 29, 2018, 09:55:13 AM
Sir i follow your steps in every moments , in real scenario you actually perform as a BTC raiders. You just caught number of alt accounts. But i have tried to post against a certain groups , the members were higher than my level. There they blackmail me to give negative trust and so on. Thats why i have created this account to catch such activity. As a newbie nobody will believe me , i know. Thats why you guys are here to help me.

Any person can give you negative trust it does not matter. If they believe you deserve the negative trust then you have to live with that. You cannot remove your negative trust by doing anything and only the person who gave it can remove it.

Then again threatening to give negative trust is blackmail or not - I am not sure about this. If the person is a DT1 or 2 member and then it can lead to a red mark on your account  under the "Trusted Feedback". If they are not DT then it wont matter because it will be under "Untrusted feedback". Again trust is something that is subjective and DT giving a blackmail negative trust is punishable - possibly by exclusion from the list of the person who added them.

But seriously speaking - does trust matter so much to you if you have to be busting alt accounts? Look at the amount of Untrusted feedback on The Pharmacist, actmyname, Lauda and Vod's profiles - they never got deterred by it.
7764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: May 29, 2018, 09:50:29 AM
Gambling has not remained just a fun activity, it has become a business. Earlier people used to gamble by visiting casinos. With the easy availability of internet, we have online casinos as well. I play on both of these.

True and this has made the business of the traditional casinos a mess. They are now just tourist spots for the people visiting those countries where gambling is legal. Then again its just business and if they cant keep up with the changing methods of internet then they have to deal with consequences.

In online gambling , there are some new websites that provide gambling opportunities with crypto currencies like Bitcoin. Here, you have to play with crypto and can multiply your investments in few minutes.
Shut the fuck up. Gambling never is a guaranteed profit. People who gamble know very well that they are wasting both time and money in the place and the house is milking away money from them. Still its an addiction and people cant stop themselves. If it was so easy to double your money then people would not study and work hard to get a job first.

urgent for 4 days

You are Senior Member here and you are supposed to have read the "No Collateral = No loan" rules in the stickies before posting.  Wink

You bitcoin address here - 1BrZL4o1yJ6Ui56zTa7jnNCpA7JyPHoA9S Has received over 6BTC and you still are not able to provide any collateral in the form of altcoins?
7766  Economy / Reputation / Re: Sudden PM'ing regarding their bounty campaigns on: May 28, 2018, 02:11:06 PM
I'm just asking if this an illegal activity worthy of a negative trust or not?? If not then admins will delete this or will lock immediately. Here is the screenshot of the message. Thanks

There is nothing illegal here and it is not tagworthy. They are probably spamming every person in forum "begging" them to join their bounty. What a shame. I guess they are running out of so called "Bounty Hunters" after merit got introduced and many got tagged. Grin

Just ignore the messages and report them. They will get banned for spamming others.
7767  Other / Meta / Re: How does knowledge of English relate to receiving Merit? on: May 28, 2018, 02:06:05 PM
I'm a newbie, and I have bad English. Before I join this forum I have done english practice. But, I stopped midway due to economic factors. Then I tried downloading the duolingo app in the play store. In my opinion, this duolingo app is good enough for someone with bad English. Because I've tried it. But, does getting merit should have a good quality of english? I've read some guides to get merit. There are only posts made qualified, informative, and constructive.

If you are getting an impetus to learn English to post in this forum then you are sick dude. It is good for you to learn a new language but your attempts at doing so prove the fact that you are a shitposter who comes here to spam and earn some "free cash" while doing so. This type of mentality is responsible for the spam in the forum.

If you come to this forum in order to get merited then you need to get lost.
7768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Mental Responses That Will Make You Lose Money on: May 28, 2018, 01:57:46 PM
Sometimes we are very confident when we found a tipster that has the most accurate predictions. But we can't remember that not all the time is an holiday.
Following tipsters does not mean you are in profit every-time. They are paid by the bookies to make such bets and they simply do as they are instructed to do. Does not mean they are always using their analysis to win. You should rather do some own research before placing any bets.

Quote
This is true, what goes up must come down so don't be too encouraged and optimistic when you are on the tip of your winning streak.
Not if you cash out before the bad things happen. If you have the habit of wasting money in gambling then you should withdraw before you lose once you win something big and dont ever return.
7769  Economy / Lending / Re: [Need a loan of 0.3 BTC Payback within 1-2 month.] on: May 27, 2018, 04:49:17 PM
Dear community,

recently i got scammed.
Thats your problem. Scammers are everywhere. You have to deal with it diplomatically and efficiently.

Quote
Now i need a loan of 0.3BTC
Thats a pretty big amount.

Quote
can anyone help me on this loan?
Only if you can provide me with a valid collateral which is worth 120% of the loan value to be held by an escrow of your own choice and fees paid by you.

Move on folks.
7770  Other / Meta / Re: Is it allowed to link a site full of referral links? on: May 27, 2018, 04:45:48 PM
it says here its not allowed but the referral link is on his website i think it doesnt break the rules.
4. No referral code (ref link) spam.

Its did not get removed because it does not directly link the referral links. The person who is going to click on that link posted by the OP of that thread Don Pedro Dinero is talking about will have to decide whether to click on the link provided on "that" site or not.

Since the referral links are not posted directly on bitcointalk it possibly wont get nuked/trashed.

Its shady I agree and would be frowned upon by most people. Still its the readers discretion what to click on and what not to. Wink
7771  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion to merit and rank requirement on: May 27, 2018, 04:42:35 PM
I am a jr. member and I think merit system playing a vital role to  upgrade membership as well as avoid spam post.
Both of these are not the prime functions of merit system. Merit is preventing shitposters from ranking up. Also "Upgraded Membership" is something like the Copper Member or the Donator status. Spam is still occurring.
Quote
Many a person got merit by chance I mean they got chance as they posted before new rank system.
But they did not posted helpful topic and not posting any helpful topic or comment.
Merit is subjective.

Quote
In this case I think as to be a  upgraded member we need merit such a way to stay on the current membership they have to receive merit too. My opinion is to stay on current membership they have to receive a percentage of merit on a particular phase of time it may be 5 percent per month, 10 percent per 3 month or something like that. And percentage can be differ from the types of membership.
This type of a suggestion was made a few threads ago. It will not happen because those who are already ranked up would not want their ranks degraded. They may become inactive in the forum for personal reasons but that does not mean that their contribution to the forum is zero.

On the other hand people like you can work on your post quality and then think about merit.
7772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Time to Sell Altcoins on: May 27, 2018, 04:36:39 PM
the best time to sell coins is when you are able to earn very much profits at least 50% of the profits from when you buy in my opinion it is very good and is enough to be able to benefit.

Not always. You may have a 10% profit and want to sell. It depends on how much you believe that the project is worth and how much you are willing to risk. As soon as the minimum barrier or 10% profit is crossed you can start to think of selling the altcoin. There is no use in holding altcoins because in the future they will never become bitcoin 2.0 and thus will always be worth less than bitcoin.

Sell when you want - dont stop yourself for encashing altcoins. After all there are always new projects coming up for investing. Wink
7773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: May 27, 2018, 04:30:40 PM
We all enjoy gambling but we have different opinions based on our own experienced. For me, I much prefer traditional gambling. Why ? The thrill is different when I am or I can attach with it personally. More thrill more fun. Aside from that I feel more the game so different happiness is brought if I win the game, and I think I can really control the situation.

The experience of the traditional casinos is different from the online casinos. At one time visiting the physical casino was something of a status symbol. Though it gradually became a derogatory objectification later on once people understood the evil within gambling addiction. Those who realize that early the better.

Still if you ever visit some place like Las Vegas, you will be visiting the casinos there as a part of the tour schedule. That in my opinion is a different experience and as long as you dont waste money in gambling there - you should be fine.
7774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Time to Sell Altcoins on: May 26, 2018, 04:56:00 PM
Depends on the coin, check the road map and see if there are any major features coming up and then hodl until release date. Otherwise, if the price has gone flat and there is no pump expected then dump it and switch to something with more liquidity.

Speaking of altcoins though not every coin is going to go down so hard that they will be tough to track. In fact in future a pump can happen with any coin depending on what FUD is being spread by the shills of the coin. If you are a believer of any project then be a loyal one. Sell what you need to cash it out but then dont think or sulk about it in future.

Obviously scam projects will be dumped once the real scam is revealed. For such cases its better to sell even a lower price to cut your loss as much as you can early before the price drops even more to remain there for ever.
7775  Other / Meta / Re: Want to act as Bitcointalk police on: May 26, 2018, 04:48:57 PM
I urge the senior member to make a move for this problems. Thats why I have chosen this username. But what will be the way if I find multi alt accounts. Is there any way to inform in efficient way?

A senior member can do nothing about it. The only way to stop these alt account bounty cheaters is to report them to the "Reputation" section in the proper thread here :

Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2018 Q2)

Do provide all the necessary proofs of why you believe the accounts are connected and all. If proven beyond reasonable doubt that they are alt accounts and thus cheating campaigns then they will be tagged with negative trust from DT.

Quote
Should I pm the moderator with proof?
Moderators have nothing to do with trust. They may ban accounts if the are found to be breaking rules.
7776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: May 26, 2018, 04:44:24 PM
If compared on the online gambling and traditional gambling is Very simple for the online gambling
because you can do it at everytime and everywhere.

You just contradicted your first statement in the second statement if I understand correctly. Traditional gambling means you need to travel to the casino and then wager (waste) money there. While online casinos are at the click of your mouse button the traditional casinos are not. Mostly traditional casinos for a regular person is a type of tourist spot while on a trip.

For regular gamblers though the online casino is always the feasible option.
7777  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a loan of .05 BTC - 100% interest in 10 days on: May 25, 2018, 02:25:56 PM
Nope, I withdrew everything and then ran out of money
Proof? Or else this is a blatant lie.

Quote
You gave me negative trust? Collateral will be discussed via PM
Collateral needs to be publicly disclosed. Or since Vod is trustworthy enough you can show them your collateral as well. Without a valid collateral nobody will risk their money for you needs whatever that may be.
7778  Other / Meta / Re: Merit rewards are ok ? on: May 25, 2018, 02:13:01 PM
Just thought if there would be any bounty campaign that would reward people not with their own tokens or btc but with merit, would it be ok ?
Is "Bounty" and "Merit" the only things that are the buzzwords in your brains? I come to "Meta" everyday and find a new thread with idiotic suggestions of being merited which shows that people like you are not happy with the merit system. If so why dont you all leave the forum and be at peace?

Quote
Since this is not selling merit directly

I see that you are having an intention to "exchange" merits. Either this way or that- you people cant live without merits. But what you are suggesting is a shady way to deal out such merits to scumbags. Roll Eyes

Quote
and I saw some topics where merit was given for people who made OP laugh, or some other topics where merit was given for answering the OP's questions and it was allowed. What do you think ?
Merit is subjective for the merit source. Tongue

7779  Other / Meta / Re: If this contiunes, we'll lose the Bitcoin Discussion topic on: May 25, 2018, 02:01:37 PM
The forum as you have rightly stated, is losing its flavor and if we allow it to continue, by this year ending it might be a whole different story and people will now be like: I remember when BTT used to be like this and like that.
That happened a long time ago. I remember people on other sites talk about bitcointalk to be the ground for trolls and shills brainwashed to spam the fourm for their own need. Either shitposting or ICO shill bumping. Bitcoin Discussion would need stric moderation to keep up with the amount of spam it sees everyday. Feels bad for the mods.

Quote
Spam, merit farming, bounties all are shifting the main purpose of the forum to something else.
Dont generalize yourself as the face of the forum. Self proclaimed "Bounty hunters" and "Merit Hunters" are the lowest level of lowlife on this forum.

Quote
I'm not trying to say bounties are wrong I'm a beneficiary but things should be done modestly. Strict rules should be made and violators evicted out of the forum I think it will help reshape the forum.
Rules will not have any effect unless there is change in the mentality.

A shitposter once said "Who does not like free money" - this mentality needs to be destroyed.
7780  Other / Meta / Re: Another initiative for newbie and junior members. on: May 25, 2018, 01:55:32 PM
Come on man, this is pretty harsh.
Life is harsh. Learn to accept it and adapt diplomatically.

Quote
There are members ranking up, sure, but look at how many members have made it from newbie to full member since the introduction of merit.
Rank does not stop people from posting and engaging in conversations. Except the newbie jail - which can be removed by paying for copper membership you dont have posting restrictions which are going to hurt - except the shitposter and shillbumpers.

Quote
There's a thread about 0-100 merit-ers and the list is like 5 (maybe 10 i cant remember) [I'm very far off my 100 mark and post reasonably regularly].
Posting regularly has nothing to do with being merited. If people dont find your posts "Informative" or of quality then there is nothing you can do about it.

Quote
A hell of a lot more people than 10 have signed up since the introduction of merit so Jets statement strikes me as entirely valid. (also look at this dudes other threads, a claim they are merit hunting is pretty misleading, more like on a (possibly extreme) rampage to remove shitposters).
I am sure 90% of them are the account farmers who got tagged and are now starting anew. As far as JC's statements are concerned, I never spoke against them.

Quote
There was no endorsement for any person, so how would you know who to merit (if the purpose was to get farm accounts merited)?
Why are you even interested? Roll Eyes
