7781  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor site phishing alert on: July 02, 2018, 10:45:12 PM
It also looks like a plugin or extension that redirect the user to the fake site and pretending as trezor but the url is correct.
The only difference is the fake site is using non https in the url unlike the legit trezor that used secured https in the url.

I'm trying to access the non https but looks like only affected users can redirect to the fake site.
7782  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Very high tx fee in mycelium on: July 01, 2018, 11:58:05 PM
That's the only reason why I don't use Mycelium anymore, and I mean the only reason.  I love the wallet otherwise, but not having the ability to set the fee lower than their minimum is just ridiculous.  Last year I had money basically stuck in the wallet because in order to send about $175, it would have cost me over $40.  Network fees have come down considerably since then, but I learned my lesson from that.

Mycelium also doesn't support segwit, and that was another factor in my decision to ditch it.  I could have lived without the segwit thing, but it's the fee that was the deal-breaker.  It's too bad the developers aren't updating the wallet, because they could fix these things easily I would think.
Now I am really confused , Mycelium shows a max of 50 sat fee and default is 8/9/20 and I can get it as low as 1 or 2 sat , is there is something I am missing here  ! . From where you guys getting this high sat fee !

I updated my Mycelium. Was using old version. Now they have slide option, where you can move lower fee to send.
I think it is better to switch on other wallet that can reduce the miners fee like segwit address and don't worry anymore about the fees.
Try to use the electrum on mobile they support segwit addresses and make sure to save your seed phrase because electrum on mobile there's no option to backup private keys.
7783  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: [Guide] How to Create a Watch-only Wallet (for Electrum) on: July 01, 2018, 11:44:51 PM
I think you can also make a watch-only wallet by using the bitcoin address but you must choose "Import bitcoin addresses or private keys" then paste your bitcoin address and you can now have a watch-only wallet.

Anyway, it's still helpful and didn't know this method of importing watch-only wallet by using public master key.
7784  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Didn't save receiving address on: June 29, 2018, 08:53:21 PM
There's nothing like View -> Show Addresses on my version of electrum.
What electrum wallet you are using?
Is it your device is mobile or desktop PC?
If you are using electrum for mobile the guide above won't work because it's for desktop electrum wallet.

You can find your address on mobile by clicking receive> touch the bitcoin address> then touch blue button until become "all".
It must be shows all of your addresses.
7785  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Best firmware for Antminer S9 and S9i on: June 29, 2018, 08:12:03 PM
According to some miners here old firmware of s9(november firmware) is a better firmware than the new firmware but its recommended to don't reflash the firmware if your s9 is fine, just use the firmware when you having a program or firmware issue.

Never had s9i but I think they are both the same.

I found a modded antminer s9 firmware here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4513567.0 and according to the thread this firmware can improve the hashing rate of s9 but expect for more power and higher temp of the miner and also it could avoid your miners warranty so if you are not sure to use this firmware and your miners is running fine then don't change anything and stay with the current firmware.

About s9i you can try the method here to overclock the miner but this guide is for s9 but you can try to apply it on s9i here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3239820.0 and it can be also useful on your s9 autotune firmware without reflashing your firmware.
7786  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can Temple Run Coin Be Converted To Bitcoin? on: June 28, 2018, 10:50:51 PM
I hope that you use the google search engine to find out.
Temple run is just a game and you can get coins by buying it on playstore or webstore as of now I don't see any option to convert those coins to bitcoin.

However, I can still give you some links that I think it might help you to find what games that can earn bitcoin or play to get token that can convert to other cryptocurrency or bitcoin.

Check this 2 links
https://bitcoinregs.org/earn-bitcoin-playing-games/

Note: I'm not affiliated to them.
Make sure to don't invest anything to them and play as much as you want.
7787  Economy / Services / Re: Not receiving payouts from cryptoo.me on: June 28, 2018, 09:36:50 PM
I'm using blockchain , no transaction is shown under 'received' section. On cryptoo me under payouts status is marked as "done"
Get the transaction ID from cryptoo if don't see the transaction ID it means that this micropayment site is lier
Check this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2504643.0
There are many complaints about not receiving payout from cryptoo. So I suggest you to stay away using their service.
7788  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: helpful tools to analyze BTC-TX on: June 28, 2018, 06:49:19 PM
I think he is asking about miners fee or TX fee calculation if I'm right then he can check the updated bitcoin fees here https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/
There is no other tool for analyzing the TX fee except for electrum wallet it has built in auto calculation for miners fee when you use the slide left or right when sending transaction.

If you have a stuck transaction you can use some free accelerator to speed up your transaction you can check this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2510862.0

I hope that this is what you are looking for.
7789  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Awesome Miner or BTC tools options for Linux? on: June 28, 2018, 06:39:10 PM
You can try cgmon that works on Linux or CentOS check their official thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=353436.0

Honestly, awesome miner is still the best as of now to monitor Asic miners with more features.
7790  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Stuck transaction (Electrum) - Need help, I've tried everything I've found here on: June 28, 2018, 06:03:14 PM
You can post your TXID here by right clicking the unconfirmed transaction from your history tab then paste it here so that we can accelerate your transaction whenever your transaction is stuck.

Anyway, you can also use this transaction accelerate from viabtc here https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/
You can choose free or paid then choose free but it takes hours or more in the queue before you transaction can be accelerate, I don't think if paid service is working or not.
7791  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Restoring Bitmain Firmware (V9, T9+, others) on: June 28, 2018, 05:51:24 PM
If you put a wrong firmware it can result of deadboot or it can brick your miner without any software solution.
You must put a correct firmware for t9+
How about using this firmware from here https://shop.bitmain.com/support.htm?pid=007201802091434313565J4tI3p60644
and use the sd card tool to make a sd card bootable and put the firmware inside the sd card?
7792  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: T9+ HashBoard Work for 20 min and go down on: June 27, 2018, 05:58:55 PM
Great setup and I think you don't need to add exhaust fan to take hot air out.
Let me know what is your temp right now with this setup? and let me ask about your weather temperature in your place?

If your setup still gives you 80 degrees above try to add more fan(air flow or electric fan) make sure your miner is not very close to each other. If still exceeding 80 degrees my guess your hashboard heatsink is not glued properly.
7793  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin, What it is and what it does? on: June 27, 2018, 05:37:26 PM
I think there is video to explain what is bitcoin you can check this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Um63OQz3bjo
and this video for bitcoin explained https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHjYt6Jm5j8
and this is another video how bitcoin works https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9jOJk30eQs

You don't need deep knowledge about bitcoin unless if you are planning to develop it and bitcoin is just like a money online if you know how paypal works it is the same but the differences bitcoin is decentralized and you own a wallet or we can call a bank where you can save your money and no one can control your funds unlike paypal or other similar service.
7794  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is blockchain.info to be trusted? on: June 27, 2018, 04:05:37 PM
Since it's still an online wallet even you had the seed phrase and password info there are still possibilities that your wallet can be compromised by hackers because it's online web wallet unlike wallet from a desktop that you can protect your own PC from any harmful malware and viruses and you can do an offline transaction.

For me, it is not safe to use blockchain.info and I feel that this site will nearly become offline and never online again because I heard that they will change their domain soon as their announcement said past days ago.
7795  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are video editing machines powerfull enough for bit coing mining ? on: June 27, 2018, 02:24:27 PM
You can only mine on your CPU with cryptonight algo's
You can read this guide https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2891680.0
7796  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Apw3++ Explode repair capacitor on: June 27, 2018, 01:20:17 PM
Try to replace it with capacitors from broken or chargers or adaptors from laptop charger make sure same size and same color.
And I think your PSU is shorted you must trace first if what causes of burned capacitor but you can try to replace with other capacitors from a laptop charger(unused).

I don't have responsible for any damaged it can take you must hire real technician about this to fix your PSU.
You can also follow this troubleshooting guide from bitmain https://enforum.bitmain.com/bbs/topics/4242

7798  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Cooling my racks with "free-cooling" on: June 27, 2018, 10:11:44 AM
Why you still need a fan? 70 degrees is a normal temp and I think you don't need to add more fan to cool more your miner 70 degrees is enough temp for each miner.

I think your problem is air circulation in your room, you must exhaust all hot air out in your room to cool down your miner.

Try to exhaust and use a duct host each miner to push your hot air outside on the room, it can help to cool down the miner.
7799  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: 0 balance on mycelium wallet on: June 25, 2018, 11:34:11 PM
Try to let sync first the mycelium wallet because sometimes the mycelium network is slow, I sometimes experience to have a 0 balance on my mycelium and even I have a balance I couldn't transfer a bitcoin to other wallet.
So I think there's a bug on mycelium or any wallet on mobile try to report it to mycelium support check this
https://mycelium-support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

You can also try to clear history and data of your phone then try again and let the mycelium to sync first on the network.
7800  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Bech32 Segwit Addresses - Possible to get them converted to regular addresses? on: June 25, 2018, 11:23:19 PM
I heard that in order to get the bitcoin fork coins from a segwit addresses the wallet from fork coins must be also segwit support in order to redeem your fork coins, if it's still no wallet with segwit support on fork coins there's still no other way to take your BTCP put from your segwit address.

I tried to use the www.bitaddress.org wallet details tool but the private key of segwit address is not supported.
