I also think that the great things are just coming but 100k USD for 1 bitcoin after 10 years is too much for me and it is not that easy for bitcoin to reach and it will need a lot of years before it gets from that. I think the price after 10 years if the good development will continue would be around 20k USD only and it is more stable than now and people in that time are so happy.

The best way to convince your friends is to show them how much you earn on this forum.  But you dont really have to tell them how much you earn, just tell them that you can earn here. And if they dont believe then let them be, its just a waste of time explaning and convincing people doubting you on what you are telling them, at first it looks like they are interested but then when you actually tell them more they lose interest and do excuses the next time you talk about it. So dont waste time convincing people like that I explain this forum to my friends gradually, I don't directly talk about earnings, but the potential income that can be obtained, if they keep talking about it, then I will answer results only from signature or calculation in altcoin campaign project. I also have Important experience and some methods are only for personal consumption. I agree with you, don't talk about your earnings because it will just make them greedy and so aggressive in earning money and they will always demand you that why they are not earning the same amount just like what you are earning but if you will discuss and explain all the little thing about bitcoin and if you will focus on the basic things and all of the benefits then for sure they will not look for money and they will look for more information and the rest just like money will follow. |

At same time I was looking at prices of ETH on different sites:
coinbase : 182$
freewallet: 198$
at the same time the price was so different and still is. Usualy on coinbase is always less. Why?
I think it depends on the market that they are basing, if a wallet is depending on one exchanger only then there is more possibility that the price is high while if the wallet is depending on the average price of all markets of the current coin then it will be lower than any other kind of wallet. |

That is for sure, he already bought a lot of bitcoins at a lower price and for sure he is really holding tight his bitcoins for the incoming years because the profits that he is getting now are not enough for him. If i were one of the luckiest person that bought bitcoin at a lower price then i will definitely hold it up to 5 years from now and after that i will decide if i will sell my bitcoins or not. |

If you want to buy some drugs using bitcoin then you can do that in the black market and you can easily buy drugs in a safe way because bitcoin is untraceable so the authorities will not able to track you down. So a couple of days ago, in a bloggers group on facebook; a guy asked what is bitcoin? And I was quite amazed to see that many people start commenting and saying stay away for bitcoin, its black currency, under world currency, or dark web currency and stuff like that.
Obviously the people who were saying this didn't know about bitcoin and have probably heard the same from someone else, but this is the perception of many around us.
What can be done to change this? Make BTC more user friendly? More appealing to general public?
Just let the bitcoin to get more popularities so it will be enough for them to shut their mouth up. Those people are keep saying that stay away from bitcoin because they didn't earn good profits or they didn't get bitcoins for a lower price so they are spreading negative thoughts so they will have a hope for the price to go down. We don't need them because someday they will come and reach to us and they will beg for our help to teach them on how to use bitcoin. |

1 Bitcoin is worth more than 1 ounce of Gold but that doesn't necessarily mean it's better. You can't wear a bitcoin but Gold jewelry looks nice on everyone.
Currently bitcoin is far and far better than gold because and once of gold is around $1,200 but bitcoin is currently trading around 2,378 and is still increasing as it volume keep on raising. I even prefer bitcoin to gold because of it flexibility. Gold is just for millionaires who want to have some bling bling on their portfolio and also to make their investment safe because the gold is very stable and its price doesn't move too often so they are safe for investment but the people like us who want to get rich or richer should go to bitcoin because of its fast growing price and even it is doubled of the price of gold, It is unstoppable. |

I save bitcoin to deal with future financial crisis if i may have. i do spend bitcoin, recently i bought amazon gift card with my precious bitcoins.  Yea that's right we need to ace bitcoin for future purposes because it really help is as well not just for having fun but for financial crisis as well. Spending bitcoin for fun is such a short term enjoyment while if you save bitcoin for long term then you can easily have fun in the future because you already saved a lot of money and you don't need to worry about your financial status because you are already secured and all you need to do is to spend it to the things that you want. That is the benefit of prioritizing saving first instead of short term enjoyments. |

OK with all the posts about transactions fees and transaction holds etc .. thought I'd post my experience ..
I have just transferred 2 Bitcoin from my Kraken trading account to my blockchain wallet ... cost of transaction: 0.0005 bitcoin so actual coins received in wallet 1.9995 ... 4 confirmations received within 20 minutes (19 minutes to be exact)
Personally I was expecting maybe a day for the transaction to be completed lol (especially with all the scary posts on the forum) so 20 minutes was pleasantly surprising.
I also experienced faster transactions now compared to the past few days that takes even a week for my transaction to confirm and now i can received my withdrawals from bittrex to my wallet without waiting a lot of time, i think this is the proof that the team is working on the network and soon we will experience a smooth transaction when the rumors will be true like the segwit. |

Nothing alts have chances against bitcoin because bitcoin is the main cryptocurrency that buy anything alts. And they used bitcoin everytime they want to buy altcoin or they exchanged altcoin to bitcoin so nothing reasons.
I think it is too excessive when altcoin has the possibility to shift the bitcoin from cryptocurrency number 1? Because I think bitcoin is too superior. And will be very difficult to replace It is difficult yet, possible. Bitcoin and altcoins are very different but they are the same in usage because they are all online currency. If the bitcoin is replaced by crypto, who will be there later whether it is short or long, which is certainly unpredictable.
I agree with you, the cryptocurrency who will replace bitcoin will never be predictable because the cryptocurrencies are so volatile and they are all unpredictable and most of them are decentralized so even bitcoin will replaced then it is still impossible for us to make a lot of profits that are more than on what we can make in bitcoin. |

The first time I owned a BTC was three months ago, at which time the BTC price was about $ 1200. yes its true, im start earning bitcoins thru faucets , i earns little by little but its good for me to have a good start from faucets, then i invest it before in cloud mining sites , but i got scammed, then i try trading and have a bit luck and i earn enough to provide my needs and support everything that i am needed then i tried gambling and its great i earn a lot, try faucets, trading and also gambling, you will earn a lot from gambling but you need to take a risk also in all of what i have said goodluck. At first nobody cared asking me about bitcoin but when they saw my brother who's becoming richer already,then all of a sudden all my officemates are asking me now.Maybe they're about 20 people.
That is the impact of bitcoin to fake people and mostly cares for money only. They didn't approach to you when you don't have anything but when they see some interesting thing to you like you are earning money from something they will care for you and eventually ask a lot of questions just to find out how you exactly earn money. I think it is worth it to just say that they should find it own by their self and do research a lot because knowledge is not free and it should be payable by either money or time. |

i think the best way to convince/attract people is to fully explain to them what bitcoin and how it works. enumerate to them the advantages of using/trading bitcoin. from there, people will understand and appreciate bitcoin. I agree with you, explaining bitcoin is the best thing we can do to convince people because that is the only way how they can be convinced in using bitcoin because they will understand how the bitcoin works and what are the possibilities that they can take when they start using bitcoin for their own purposes. People now a days are more interested to expensive things so it will be easy for bitcoin. |
