I have used my own fund several times in oder to avoid selling the Vootcoin cheap. Look at the last expenses report.  I'm not a magician like most devs that promised an innovative features with 1 week timeline and abandoned the coin before the deadline. It takes time to develop and this coin is not up to 2 month and it has been on the front page of Bittrex for the whole duration.

Thanks for your dump.  Grin

I am dumping a chunk of my Voot. Sick of waiting for BS that does not arrive and when it dose arrive, the coin will never go higher than 1500-2k sats ever again, because many people people are dying to get out of this shit coin.

Even the Dev wants to sell coins.. what a joke!  Talk about having ZERO confidence in the future price of the coin. If you are crazy enough to buy this crap, set you buy orders at 700 sats.

The dev is selling part of the dev fund. That's what the dev fund is for. That's a lot different than the dev selling personal coins.

Nonetheless, that auction's no longer looking like such a great deal at the moment thanks to that dump. Yikes.

surestrike is fucking stupid. Leave here dumb guy!
surestrike  guy from VRC community dump VOOT coins that is great move  Cool Wink

I will dump vrc for revenge, shit dumpers!

C'mon you are not a noob trader  Wink

Sorry for my thickness but still I will have to pay for potential goods that may or may not arrive after purchase, right. Or I am missing something?

And, of course, I will have no recourse whatsoever because, well, there's no trail that I even bought anything to begin with let alone pay for it, right?

Sounds like a plan.

Slow down, it seems you have concluded that anonymous marketplace will not work out. Vootmarket is not the first marketplace in the world.

Some features that are on anonymous marketplace
Escrow services
Trust system
Arbitration

Yes, you are completely right: I have concluded that the anonymous marketplace will not work, whether it is Vootmarket or Ringingbellsmarket. There's simply not a market -yet-, not even a non-anonymous one, for crypto -and there are several that have tried for a long time already-, let alone an anonymous one. But perhaps I will get something of value out of this after all, what exactly is the feature "Trust System"? Escrow services and Arbitration, by definition, serve no purpose whatsoever in an anonymous environment. By definition. But perhaps the "Trust System" is the Pandora's Box that explains it all?

But unfortunately you don't have any idea about this topic, in your mind there's no way people can buy things off Internet anonymously.

As a developer, if you are confident in your development team to deliver flawlessly, why would you sell your own coins, especially at these prices, when you have stated numerous times this thing will go to the moon. Why would you sell your own coins period Huh

It's not my coin it's the development fund /premine.

Why not wait to get a better bid after the soon to be releases and inevitable price increases? Speculatively, you can get 3x more.

I need it before not after the exchange release. That's why I'm doing an auction

Would you kindly explain to me what could be the potential actual use of this?

I mean I, anonymously, would buy something from some also anonymous individual or entity on an anonymous platform... I am clear until that point... at which I send, anonymously, of course, the money to that anonymous individual who will then -if he so chooses- send me, anonymously of course, the goods or services purchased. If it is an actual physical item I will have to provide a not so anonymous address for delivery, right? which kind of defies the purpose...

I am sure you get my doubts about the practicality of such a "platform", but surely I am missing not just a bunch of things but the whole enchilada and this is something that I will use in no time at all to purchase everything from condoms to travel and gasoline. Sorry that I am so thick and thanks in advance for your punctual clarifications.

Buying and selling items online.
You should look into how to get anonymous mailing address

And still you have plenty of new people coming here and they are not buying, since they don't understand how innovative this coin is. We might have great development but mediocre PR. Basic things like OP are missing.

I will edit the op to include the current development and also remove the nitesend code to free some space.

So whats the deal with the Anon Exchange? Where can I find some technical information about this Anon Exchange? Some teaser screenshots perhaps?

Hold on, it will be ready for live trading this week. No time for whitepaper fufu lame shit #Gratata  Cool
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SYNC]X11|1,000 Coins| NiteSend| Sync Foundation Blueprint | Program Demo on: July 22, 2014, 06:52:33 AM
Question:

Is there still a minumum amount of sync needed to stake? I ask because while I have a small amount, it should have matured by now. It's still saying not mature, rather than showing weight. I wouldn't expect it to stake vs. the network very quickly, but it should be showing weight by now.

Just in case I'm missing the obvious ( a thing that seems to happen too often), here's the output from getstakinginfo

There's no minimum amount of sync required for staking. I believe you should be able to find a block within the maximum stake period =30 days.

However, the network weight has increased significantly over the past few weeks.

Ok, so there's a variable time to maturity? I knew there was a maximum, but I thought it would start showing weight after the minimum. If that's not the case, then all is well Cheesy I'm mining at the multipool, so it'll increase in time. Thanks for the quick answer.

Not really but since staking works like mining, nevermind I mixed up no matured coins for staking with orphaned blocks.

You are using the latest wallet not the old version.

I want to auction 500,000 Vootcoin in order to cover the final payment of the anon exchange. The minimum bid is 5btc
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VOOT] X11 VootCoin-Nitesend | Tor | Multi-Pool | Yahoo!Finance|CRYPTSY on: July 22, 2014, 05:51:04 AM
One thing I haven't figured out yet. To use Tor, do I have to download "Tor proxy software"?
Another thing,, isn't vootmarket going to be integrated in wallet?

I'd like to know as well, thanks in advance.

No one knows about this??

So reading through the last posts...
The third party "Tor proxy software" won't be needed in future release of wallet??
And about VootMarket? I understand it as being an web page on the dark web and not a integrated thing in the wallet. Is that correct??

you don't need to download the tor proxy software separately with this Wndows wallet, but at the first launch you will need to enable the connect through sock proxy and restart.

Eventually, both the anon trade and Vootmarket will be integrated into the wallet but it depends on the scale of the market.

I think we are the first trying to create an exchange where traders personal information would be more difficult to trace. I think this is somehow decentralized since we have no control over your information but integration into the Vootcoin wallet will make it more decentralized.

Anon trade is essential to the Vootmarket, I believe we are going in the right direction. Using an anonymous cryptocurrency to trade on anon exchange while buying and selling items in anonymous market. This is the future of Vootcoin

Guys the thing that will be launched is an anonimized decentralized exchange right?

Hi:
Right now the exchange is ready, just for the platform to be on TOR so that the exchange can be access with .onion address

Wondering if there is anyone in the community who can build a simple Paypal/Sync exchange.

We need to bypass BTC, allow ppl to buy Sync direct with Paypal.

Or if you know anyone, pls contact sync@syncfund.com

That's extremely dangerous due to chargebacks.

https://c-cex.com/ offers usd/alt-coins

blah blah blah

Hey, if you know any coin that MsCollec is planning to revive, let me know!   Would love to pick up more coins like Voot where I got it for 55 satoshi and now is worth 1300+!

I'm not even looking into any coins for takeover. hippie wants to destroy both Sync and VOOT which is impossible . the pig kept posting same questions even thou people have repeatedly answered this questions.

Why they hell doesn't anyone seem to care about the unanswered questions regarding the premine and the block explorers ?

Poloniex has given me the "we're looking into it" a few times now.

What are the questions?

Premine was 5% or 5 Sync, clearly stated.

And explorer is here:

http://chainz.cryptoid.info/sync/

Your wisdom DUMBFOUNDS me. Tongue

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=607919.msg7662909#msg7662909

RECAP # 2
- MsCollec played a major roll in the Visacoin scam. --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=384097.0
- The original block explorer shows a 5 SYNC tx fee with blocks 1 and 2. The premine was supposed to be 0.5% and not 1%.
- The new/current BE rewrote blocks 1, 2 and the premine addy.
- Poloniex continues to see this as a non issue.

Conflict of interest anyone ?

It seems nobody cares about your dump theory. You complained about the old explorer being rigged and i got a new explorer you are still complaining.
Talk to the guy that currently host sync block explorer https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=571254.0
