781  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: May 13, 2023, 02:38:15 PM
We must return this to the notion of gambling which involves betting in a game. So in general if a game is without betting then it cannot be said to be gambling in my opinion, because it goes back to the basic understanding of gambling itself. And I agree that gambling carries risks, and if there is nothing at stake then what risks will we get, because we don't bet anything and will not lose anything from that game.
However, if it is based on personal opinion, of course there will always be different opinions from one to another.

Didn't gambling start back then when money was not created yet and other things were paid when a gambler lost? Because I remembered when I was young, I was still in elementary school, when I was playing with my friends in the text card battle of marvels super heroes, when I won, I got a card instead of winning and when I accumulated a lot of cards, I sell cards to my opponents or teammates to make money for a small coin.
782  Economy / Gambling / Re: A reminder for gamblers to avoid FortuneJack (ongoing lawsuit, 120k usd stolen) on: May 13, 2023, 02:29:23 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5368279.0

And for those who clicked on this topic, I'll give you a bonus, that I think nobody else on the internet can give you, and that could save you some cheating from online casinos (since I've got first hand information).

This post though is about my own analysis and opinion on how things could go forward from here, not a certainty.

During last year, Casinos based in Curacao (like FortuneJack) have been arguing in the court of appeal that they don't have to pay any winnings for their customers, since they think the law cannot enforce anyone to pay gambling winnings (true story, coming from "casinos"). The decision of the court of appeal has been that yes they are organisations that have to pay winnings for the games they decide to offer.

But there is one more thing: The courts are not the ones who run these casinos. So if they can't steal users funds anymore by simply closing accounts, common sense says they'll be finding new ways to cheat customers.... So watch out to play only provably fair (that you actually understand) games and live games where you can actually verify you're not being cheated.

Edit: For the people posting here, saying this is FUD, go ask FortuneJack if no legal procedure is going against them. If not, ask them if they paid me already or not (with interest for being about 2 years late on payment). I am not giving any evidence, nor am I giving any details.

Edit 22/04/23: I am not trusting anyone on this forum to give them more details or evidence in private message, so please don't ask. I do not intend to convince most people here, since experience shows they're mostly dishonest. It's for those who followed me here for some time and know I pretty much like the truth, and for those who have some common sense reading the link of my scam accusation above.

By the way, if you don't have the confidence to tell the whole story of what happened to you, why did you make another topic here in the forum when you appealed the scam accusation? Now what do you want to release on the topic you have already created this. Why don't you just wait for the result of the complaint to find out if the investigation will be in your favor. Then I can say that Fortunejack has a reputation here in crypto gambling because it has been here for several years to be honest.
783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Attack on Bitcoin’ Claims Circulate as Transaction Fees Climb Higher on: May 13, 2023, 02:09:07 PM
I remember there were a number of Bitcoin supporters, even developers if I'm not mistaken, who brushed this Ordinals issue off when it was launched months ago saying it's not a big deal, that it will just die sooner rather than later, that they be allowed since they're paying fees for their transactions anyway, and so forth. Now, this issue has already escalated a lot and we seem to be taken back to step 1. Whether this now is a deliberate attack or not, bold steps should be taken. After all, it has already shaken the very core of Bitcoin. And I guess this transaction fee problem has not yet even reached its climax.

Regardless of what those ordinals caused, the effect on Bitcoin holders was not a good one that the majority saw. And what's worse is all the merchants who accept bitcoin payment in their businesses which in my observation have definitely stopped because of the effect of the high fees. And because of these high fees, we can also clearly see that the ones who have benefited the most from this are really Bitcoin miners and not Bitcoin holders in truth and real talk.
784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't follow the trends, work with price actions on: May 13, 2023, 01:59:30 PM
Following market trends will only result in FUD, FOMO, and other critical barriers. The essential element is price action; bitcoin works mostly with price action. For instance, two years ago, bitcoin was valued at $49,151, and pro traders anticipated bitcoin would reach $100,000, but their predictions were dashed when the market stumbled. The market is designed in such a way that if certain procedures are not followed, it will drain one's trading account. Bitcoin has been around for several decades, and we all understand how important the project is. Most traders predicted that trading bitcoin would completely disrupt the market. Do you believe that price action is more essential than trends?

In a decade that has been more than Bitcoin, it has been proven that as time goes by, the value of Bitcoin increases, what most people thought were negative about Bitcoin, almost all of them were disappointed in their predictions.
So traders predict where the price is going based on what is actually happening in the market, in short you are right in what you said, you should not go along with the fashion or trend because you are no different from a gambler who bet who just relies on what was said or seen
785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Make 10 Million BTC Wallet Per Day on: May 12, 2023, 08:05:49 AM
I need to make 10 Million BTC Wallet Per Day ( dont ask why ), creating 10M wallet manually Take so much time, How I can eaily make 10 Million BTC Wallet Per Day ? FASTEST Way?
Each wallet must be created with complatly a new Private key.

I think for this matter the tool you can use for this is vanitygen, you can create bitcoin address through this, you can also
specify the number of address that you want to generate and export them in JSON. I'm not just exactly sure if you can get this at once
on this, because 10M is too big for it. What are you going to do with the 10M address anyway?
786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: May 12, 2023, 07:05:07 AM
This is just the basics, but anyone should be aware of it:

Budget: set it BEFORE you start gambling and stick to it.
Have a break from time to time, it is important to let your brain stop and consider.
Avoid drugs / drink as much as possible, they will make you loose some control innevitably.
Seek help if you feel you are no longer in control. Make a phone call to a friend or go out and speak with someone.

Anything else anyone can think of? Like... read this post before gambling? Tongue

well that's cool hehe... But you are right in mentioning that as gamblers we also need to take a break for awhile because our mind is also tired from the thing that we think we will win.
Because the more that we always lose, it's stressful for us while playing. And I like what you said to call a friend that you also trust of course that you know has sense to talk to especially in these situations.
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: May 12, 2023, 06:49:11 AM

    -   You are right, the referral scheme is only suitable for influencers. For ordinary people like us who are not influencers like them,
we will not be able to get the income that they can get because our followers are probably less than 1/4 compared to them.

It's just that sometimes, we still try because of the few friends we have anyway but we expect that we won't be able to refer many.
Though majority of the influencers are deceiving in terms of promoting the gambling they got. They will say everything to make their followers will click the link they have.
Influencers can make a lot of money from the referral bonus program because of course they can move their fans to register and play gambling even though we know that not everyone likes to play gambling, usually fans only watch how he plays but don't really register and gamble because of the high risk involved. gambling.

Never try to promote to our friends or family just to get a referral bonus because when we see someone we know become an addict just because of us and he sells all his assets aka falling into poverty, we will naturally feel guilty for him. I probably won't promote my referral link to my friends and family.

This is part of the marketing strategy of the a casino and a very effective way. Cause they will choose a very known blogger and artist in order to promote their casino and that's what happens mostly today in different country in the world, And especially here in my country bloggers and artist earn a lot of money because of their referral links. Even though we have our referral link if we play in their casino but it will became. Useless because only few of our friends will use our links and play .

It's like we're in the same country friend, because most of the vloggers here in the country I'm from are casino gambling online promoters.
And it's not funny anymore because they're obviously fooling their followers. And the influencers take advantage of this and they don't care if other people's lives are ruined, they make money because of the referral program they use.
788  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin trading be my sole source of income? on: May 12, 2023, 06:27:15 AM
As a young person, I am overwhelmed by my curiosity in trading Bitcoin, but I'm not sure if it is appropriate for me to resign my white collar work and return to trading exclusively Bitcoin.

This was a conversation a buddy of mine and I had yesterday, and I felt compelled to bring it to this illustrious platform for the best types of advice and counsel.

Is it safe for a Bitcoin trader to quit their jobs and focus solely on Bitcoin trading if they can devote their time and attention to maximize the benefits in the Bitcoin world?

How long have you been trading in the Bitcoin industry? How deep is your knowledge of Bitcoin trading? and how much is the minimum profit you get from trading here?
It's hard to sacrifice the job you have if this is your only source of income and then there are bills that must be paid every month. If you think you can earn more from trading than your salary as an employee, do it. But if not, you should think about it carefully.
789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How's your gambling experience right now? on: May 11, 2023, 02:42:05 PM

Transasctions fees are slowly been going to normalize now and lets just give up some ample time before anything would come back to normal.

https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/
https://privacypros.io/tools/bitcoin-fee-estimator/

Sitting around 60 sats/byte as of this writing.

I'm hoping that it will go lower before the weekend for us to transact normally again, it's unbearable to accept the fee eats up a big portion of your transaction, I have a friend who loses a lot because of his urgent needs he only has Bitcoin and he needs money very urgent, sometimes in this kind of situation altcoins is a big help so its better to always include altcoins in your portfolio when this situation arises.
I'm sure because of this situation many gamblers opted to play with altcoins and delay their withdrawal until the network congestion eases up.

This is what hurts our bangs, it's the kind of thing we need but we have no choice but to accept the fees that will be deducted from us because we use bitcoin and there are no other altcoins.
Even if we don't want to, but we can't because it's our family that will be affected if we don't do it. But now it's down somehow, I hope the bitcoin developers will do it this way so that everyone can be happy again.
790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: May 11, 2023, 02:31:13 PM
I'm happy with the free spin, because in the deposit bonus they have a minimum amount that is required if you're just a first timer, then there's the cashback, there's also an amount limit so you can have a bonus here and if you don't reach their limit requirements even who played gambling on their platform is also not entitled to cashback bonus. So free spin is enough for me at least free and it can also be money when you win in their gambling.
791  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Gcash Down? Unauthorized Transactions on: May 11, 2023, 02:17:41 PM

Dapat maayos yan or else tayong mga bitcoin holders ang magsasuffer dyan for sure.

796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking help with PEPE on coinbase wallet on: May 06, 2023, 03:11:43 PM
Hey everyone, I have some pepe on coinbase wallet, but it won't let me just sell the pepe for money. I tried just swapping the pepe for another coin, but even then, it wants to charge half my profit worth of gas fees. Any suggestions?

Got Pepe coin in coinbase wallet? Is there really? it's like nothing. Then as far as I know there is a lot of hype about pepe coin right now, especially since it is listed on the top exchange right now on Binance.
A class of meme coins that can also lose value in an instant, but right now it is a hot topic and is included in the top 100 coins in the market right away.
797  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to maintain profitability in crypto trading on: May 06, 2023, 02:59:45 PM
In increasing your capital, I somewhat believe in that, because if you have a deep understanding of trading and know the tools to use in actual trading, it is not unlikely that you will actually get a daily profit. And that is one of the advantages of having a large capital according to what I have seen and observed.
Because if it's just a small capital, it will appear in the end that the profit will be a bit slow and don't expect it to be big either. Then it also depends on the movement and demand of the coin as far as I know.
798  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing and trading in crypto: can make you or mar you. on: May 06, 2023, 02:50:59 PM
That depends on the person's mindset or belief in crypto investing. Because if it's true that you can't make a lot of money here, I hope no one tries to trade and no big companies will invest here and even well-known people in the business world and popular celebrities will not waste time investing here if they know they said that they won't get anything. Do you get what I mean? Maybe the people who fail here may be that the coins they chose were just hyped and they didn't really know that's why it happened.
799  Economy / Economics / Re: Without government job we can survive on: May 06, 2023, 02:40:24 PM
For me, if the government of a country has a program to help its citizens, that is good, but for an individual to depend on the government for his life is one of laziness that can be considered wrong. Even so, we should still obey whatever laws or ordinances our government enforces as law abiding citizens. Then I was able to survive without the help of the government.
800  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagination and reality on: May 06, 2023, 02:31:13 PM
You know when it is said to be imagination it is not really happening, it will only come true if we ourselves make it actual. Now, it's up to us whether the imagination we think is good or bad. But sometimes we think that the imagination we see or think is real because it seems like it's really happening, I just don't know if you've experienced what I'm saying.
