Boston killed my parlay too! GRRRR!!!  Angry

Here's my hockey betting strategy:

I think that Parlaying Over 4.5 Goal on just about all the games works quite well. If you look at the 11 games played yesterday, 10 of them were 5 goals or more; Wednesday 2 of 2; Tuesday 7 of 12. ~76% over the past three days.  My reasoning for this is that the bet includes overtime and shootouts, so unlike soccer their are no draws; which means that once the score is 2-2, you've already won. 2-1 has a good chance, with pulling the goalie and empty net goals.
784  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [Gauging interest / WTS] Flexible USB-based powered PCI-E risers. on: December 19, 2013, 04:20:26 PM
I've ordered 250 of these using Paypal. The supplier asked me to cover the paypal fee. I wanted to make sure I had recourse in case he sent nothing at all, so I paid the fee too. It'll be sent with DHL Express, and hopefully I get a tracking number soon.

Once I get the risers, I'll go ahead and show some pictures of what I received, and either edit the thread title to indicate I'm selling them in hand, or I'll make a new thread. I'll be able to sell them at a discount compared to the asking price of the various vendors, while still making a little bit for myself, since I'm assuming all the risk here. I'll work out a final price once I receive them.

Thank you! I'm in for at least 4.

I personally use CryptoTrader. Not a scam, but coding is required as well as trading experience.

790  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] 2GH mining power on: December 12, 2013, 07:24:04 PM
2GH?? For less than $200? Head over to CEX.io, you can grab 3GH for less than $200 right now. Nothing to set-up and mining starts instantly.

Isn't posting referral links banned?

Buy mining hardware, don't buy into this centralized cloud pool mining thing.

If it is, please let me know and I will remove it.  I edited my post to reference that it was a referral link.

795  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Have a question mounting a Rig. on: December 10, 2013, 10:21:10 PM
In response to your questions:

1) Anticipate about 275W for those cards. So, technically the 750W would work, but I would recommend an 850W to be on the safe side and it's easier to add another card when you get to that point.
2) With that MOBO and two cards, you won't need risers (they will fit next to each other), but you will need some fans to keep them cool. No Crossfire cable, Mining doesn't need it. And you can run different cards on the same MOBO; I have two brands of 7950's and a 5850 on one rig right now.

Anything else, don't be afraid to ask.
796  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Motherboard designed for mining, and better riser cables in this thread. on: December 10, 2013, 09:59:39 PM
Has anyone been able to find those ASRock's for sale??
797  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 487GH for $10/GH Good deal? on: December 10, 2013, 09:51:13 PM
It's a local pick up. Here's what it would be:

V2 Blade Rig - 107 GH/s - $1,070 ( only 1 on hand )

Avalon Mini - 60 GH/s - $600 (3 on hand )

Now with this one too:

BFL Single - 50 GH/s - $500 (1 on hand )

Edit: He's including all PSU's as well.

Is this in LA??
798  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Fast&Cheap Mining hardware - Help on: December 10, 2013, 08:44:44 PM
The fastest mining equipment is in the cloud at CEX.io. I know it's pricey; but you have no hardware to find, no extra electricity to consume, and don't have to worry about reselling the unit as a paperweight later. I've been mining there since early October, and have kept reinvesting my mined BTC to GH since its easy and has a nice orderbook. PM me if you want some more details.

Excellent choice.  Got two of those. Go for it.

Do you think 1500W are enough for this setup?

I don't, my 7950's run at 275ish... I have 1500W on 5 cards and the mobo.
800  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Help me to choose a PSU (6*7950) on: December 09, 2013, 08:29:08 PM
My advice, is to get two 750+ and daisy chain them together.  Less ideal yes, but might make your shipment and price requirements.
