I think this project could become really huge and powerful alternative platform for creating dapps and smart contracts. Looking forward to updates and more technical details. Need to learn more about is that system with State Channels can be really trustless, or counterparties still need to trust themselves like ie in Lightning Network for Bitcoin.
There are multiple proposed designs for lightning network on bitcoin, I don't know them all. I do know that some designs on bitcoin are trustless. The Aeternity design is trustless. Jehan explained how they are trustless in this paper: http://altheamesh.com/blog/universal-payment-channels/I was also interested in that, good to know, that's an improvement which aeternity has over other state channel solutions.

How is the game itself? Is it growing in users or is this project attracting only altcoiners, who are really bitcoiners, looking to profit in bitcoin here? I do not think this game will reach a massive amount of users if they do not partner with a real gaming company. That industry is already very competitive. They founders of this project may have thought that issuing a presale or an ICO in this community is easy money to raise funds.
The game is being produced by All 4 Games the gaming arm of UK-based TV Network Channel 4. They are the ones managing the publishing of the game in the Google Play and Apple App Store as well as guiding the team on development and design of the game. More info: http://www.forbes.com/sites/rogeraitken/2016/12/21/could-spells-of-genesis-blockchain-gaming-incite-broader-digital-currency-use/#14b88f264b91It has only been soft launched in the Canadian and Swiss stores for the time being and will be launched globally in due course. Bitcoiners only will not make this game a success, in my opinion, but with the help of a publisher like All 4 Games and their media network it should attract some mainstream public too.

I tend to agree with borderless societies and that technology should be used to empower individuals! Also thanks for showing up, one thing that goes down well on here is team members being actively involved with the discussion.

Whatever, mainly be sure, the right question asked if not confusion happens. Then everyone thinks people no can understand what saying everyone. If in doubt always ask the Bitcointalk people cos they much experiencing about cryptocoin releasing. The Casascious much wow cryptocoin release, few years before now. That should help understanding of the issue at stake

Guys this was my personal view, I have nothing against XMR and I'm aware it has some traction and lots of interest.
I see smoothie is doing a good job with physical monero and have some of the brass ones myself which look awesome.
I see other manufacturers may be able to come up with XMR coins too.
However I don't see BTCC getting into that because BTC is their main business and they mine them too.
My 2 cents

... I knew few of the members of the team and talked with them already before this project and they are really legit. I'm also gone have a Live Video call with them and post here. King Regards

Actually the first bitcoin transaction was from Satoshi to Hal Finney for 10 BTC. I've done my homework now

A physical cryptocoin release is when a manufacturer release a new physical bitcoin.
If someone was congratulated for his first release means it was their first physical bitcoin release.
Hope this helps.

I must say, you're starting to look like a paid fanboy. Id would not be required if they had shared their facebook with all their friends and family so we know for sure that they're not lying to us but we ddont so we at least need to see some id to make sure they are who they claim to be.
But then again, I wont expect you to agree because of course, you're just a paid fanboy.
You are free to believe what you want, I've been around since the beginning of this thread and yes I do support the project as I support many others. I do get paid for my signature, with all it implies, posting here and there... However do you think that anyone in their right mind would publicly share their FB with all their family and friends? Also show me one project who made a video where team members showed their ID LOL You come up with funny requests I give you that, you make me crack.

Videos with the team should be good though, however ID not required for your own privacy and security.
Of course id is required. The can put their finger over the important parts to block them out but we need to know that the people we are dealing with are in deed who they say they are. Don't you agree? Personally I think it's overkill, everyone has their own opinions and I respect that. I never seen a project having to prove themselves on video showing their id. If it were 2012/13 when there were a lot of coins with anonymous devs being released, I might have been a bit reluctant to trust any of those teams. However the aeternity team seems open, they have names on the website, I personally know a couple of them. Haven't seen token sale details yet, once I do and see how they are going to manage it I will also be able to make my own judgement. They are also on telegram at https://telegram.me/aeternity, again, personally I have no trust issues but if in doubt you can also reach out.

Crazy to see how many physical btc have been made over the years, some of which just pop out of nowhere.
This should definitely be on the Encyclopedia.
