Somebody just bought 12 BTC worth of XC, I think this might be the beginning of the prise rise again.

The problem with my XC is, is that I bought them on 240k and on 144k, so higher than the price currently is, I am just hoping the price will ever go above that again, I assume it will, but still.
Take this time to learn about crypto in general. You were asking some very basic questions about reading charts and even what "decentralized" meant. I get it, we all need to start somewhere but those are the types of things you want to know about before you lay down your hard-earned money on an investment. That is true, I just can't find any good tutorials. Even selling your coins for less then you bought can still make you money. Sounds weird but it is true How do you plan on doing that? Selling for less almost always makes you a loss. If I buy 10 XCurrency for 240k and sell at 200k and buy back at 140k. That's how I guess, but that is very risky, because if you buy 10 XC at 240k sell at 200k and what if it goes up again? You sold at a loss with nowhere to go. |

It will mate, all it will take is a few more big hitters to notice us and we will take off, keep spreading the work, keep believing and keep supporting... The price is stupid low for a rock solid coin, with arguably the best future out there, and I think without doubt the best team... We just need to start to see the new expected features roll out now and you watch, this thing will catch light... Everybody keep saying that, yet nothing has happened for a view weeks/months now. |

We are not here to talk about DRK. i think he meant xc  Oke, I don't like it when it is stable, it either goes down a lot after a little while or it goes up, but most of the times it goes down. |

Yah I don't think XC is going to go up anytime soon. We are no longer in PnD mode.
Coins like BC/XMR/XC are close to the same market cap of 3.5-5M and you'd need a considerable amount of BTC to double/triple their current price.
If your goal is to 300% in 2 weeks you are not into the good coin.
If your goal is "investing" in crypto in a good coin, this is the right place.
I believe that the blue chips coin are/might explode during a huge BTC pump. I am personally positioning myself for this.
If BTC-e/BFX/BitStamp add coins to their exchange I might change my strategy but in the mean time XC is my flagship.

yeah I thought that as well for DKR when I started back in May "price too high for me for 0,5$" I witnessed it rise to 18 dollars the following week. Now, XC is just THE alt. I don't think the price of XC will rise anytime soon. So to answer your question, it might be smart to buy, but you never know. I don't either, but that has got nothing to do with the above statement. Its still the most solid all around investment one can make after bitcoin I was answering the question from the initial quote, if it was a good time to buy XC. |

If I look at a thread of which the coin is dying, everybody says that the price will go up again soon.
Why will this not happen to XC? Because everybody is basically saying the same thing here, but I don't see any noticeable price change with XC.
Please note that this isn't FUD, I am just wondering why people have so much faith in a coin.

Can anybody explain why the trade volume of XC is so low? When XC was on its way to 500k the trade volume was way higher, what happened?
It's down in general trading this month because of the Holiday season I suspect. Once Autumn kicks in I expect a higher trading volume all round, but that is just my assumption. All the Whales are probably sunning themselves on beaches now.  The trade volume is down for a while now, even before the holidays XC didn't get traded as much as back then, so I doubt that is it. |

Have a feeling we're about to see some movement on mintpal; looks like there's a small shakeout happening
I will say... that was a 0.9 btc shakeout.  this "movement" is happening since months. hopefully there is real movement (upwards) in the near future... People keep saying that, but I have the feeling that XC will stay stable on 140k and than after a view months it will drop. But that is just my feeling. |
