If I don’t have that stock I will give you another account of your choosing to make things right for the time being. I have been around for awhile and I'm not going anywhere anytime soon so there is no reason to ever worry

I will have to dig mine up but I do believe mine has small issues with the hologram as well. I have reached out to ColdCoin AU on instagram to let them know there were people here with questions/issues.
These look really great but the hologram is an unfortunate issue, curious as to why some have not received their orders yet, and when we should expect our "back-up" coins.
Post some pics of your coin when you get a chance, it would be interesting to compare. Do the backup coins ship separately from main coin? I didn't get a backup That hologram issue looks like it moved after initial placement, possibly a minor adjustment by the hologram placer during assembly.
That makes sense too. It seems like the hologram placer removed the broken part of the hologram because there is no reminisce in the holder. The backup coins are optional add on purchases and ship separately IIRC. Regarding the hologram, if a tool was used (tweezers or some other transfer means) it is likely that the holo remains (tamper part) would not be seen as it would have come off onto whatever object was touching it. If it was a matter of re-applying the hologram then I’d doubt you’d see it as the newly placed hologram would cover it up. However, from the consistency of the ‘markings’ it would seem like the former is more plausible.

If you have a website where you host your white paper and full token specifics, you can start gaining user attention through a wide means of marketing. Press releases and advertisement goes a long way in terms of marketing. Regarding the private investors, there are a number of ways. Expressing interest in an ICO allows you to call out on private investors who want to buy more than $x in early investment opportunities (before the pre-sale). Alternatively, as you suggested, you can go and find them by using an array of options (funds, private equity and crypto brokers).

Received my coin, mostly looks great. I noticed minor defects with the hologram on my coin, and was wondering if anyone else has a similar error with their coin's holo. I highlighted the defect in the Imgur album. https://imgur.com/a/eYHroImage repost service would be appreciated Looks like it could have been caused when they were applying the hologram. Not sure exactly what method they choose, but if anything touches the underside of the hologram before it is applied, then the tamper effect will kick in. It would be interesting to see if other coins have the same elements on their holograms or if yours is a one off. I know that Casascius recommend using transfer tape (and used it himself when applying his holos).

I'd sell ASAP at that price, not sure if you're expecting higher? I second that sentiment. When I first saw that I was taken aback but then again it’s been a while since one last sold on here. BTC has been pretty turbulent as of late but that’s as good an offer as you’re going to get IMO so I’d accept if I were you.

One could suggest a safety deposit box in the bank but at the end of the day, you shouldn't trust anyone with your money. I'd keep it at home. Ledger nano S is safe enough and If it works like Trezor, If someone try the wrong PIN multiple times, the device will get wiped out so no one get access to the funds and as for the paper wallet, just encrypt it (strong password) and then print it, don't be paranoid.
The ledger is great but what happens if someone finds your recovery phrase just lying around? Your ledger could wipe itself but you'd still lose all your coins. The recovery card is basically a paper wallet in itself. I personally wouldn't put them in a safe as doing so would just bring attention to the fact that you've got something in there clearly worth storing. I'd say you'd be better off hiding them in plain view...
