781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Cryptocurrency change financial institutions completely? on: February 20, 2019, 10:56:51 PM
Blockchain technology is the main tech that will change how financial institutions operate. Cryptocurrency is just a payment system found on the blockchain technology network, without blockchain there is no cryptocurrency. In relation to removing or getting rid of cash, I don't think that is gonna be an easy thing, this can take about a century for that to be possible. just a few are aware of the use of cryptocurrencies and the majority strongly trust old traditional cash.
782  Economy / Speculation / Re: A chance for Bitcoin to rise! on: February 20, 2019, 10:33:29 PM
For the past months I’m too depressed about my losses since I came in this market unprepared. I try not to be active but the market looks inviting me again to be more responsible for what I’ve done and to do better this time.

Bitcoin started to pump slowly, though its not enough to get back my losses but I think there’s a reason why I should stay. I know I’m not the only one here who lose money but still trying to do their best to have some profit. Thank you to this forum, i was able to rise again and this time I will believe more on the future of bitcoin! Continue to hold!

Edit: I lose almost $2000 before both in trading and in gambling, I know its quiet small for you but that’s a lot of money for me. Thanks to those who help me to survive on this one.
Don't let the little increase in the price of Bitcoin fool you into trading without taking a second look at the current market trends of Bitcoin trading charts. It is quite sad you lost $2000, but don't make the mistakes you did to cause your lost. Bitcoin trading is all about how well you know and understand the market trends and studying the trading charts. The trading charts will help you draw a possible range which will help you know when to buy or sell and at what price to sell or buy. Bitcoin is here to stay forever, you just have to be smart and observant. Wink Wink
783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "They laughed when I created Bitcoin, but when it started to grow…" on: February 18, 2019, 02:42:53 PM
Everybody want to be  acknowledged as the person behind any successful story but no one want to be the person behind a failed project or an idea. Due to how successful Bitcoin and blockchain technology are, everybody wanna claim ownership of that. I don't think none of the people claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto are the one. If Satoshi Nakamoto wanted to be known like his/her identity will have be added to the Bitcoin whitepaper. Enough of these conspiracy stories....
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cyptocurrency never be great again as it was? on: February 16, 2019, 07:07:55 PM
cryptocurrency is alreaady  great and has always been great. The fluctuation in the prices of cryptocurrencies is something that is meant to happen due to the decentralized nature of the blockchain technology used by cryptocurrencies. I wish people could understand this and stop the false speculations they  share and spread about cryptocurrency, the financial space needed blockchain and cryptocurrency to provide financial freedom to people.
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we stop promoting scam project? on: February 16, 2019, 03:44:54 PM
Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.

What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?
It is very true, some bounty campaigns last for more than five months and at the end of this, some don't even pay bounty hunters. For the ones that pay, their tokens will never be listed for bounty hunters to trade them. I think if its possible for the forum moderators to introduce a rule that forces bounty managers to paid hunters in BTC or ETH, it will be very helpful to control the launch of scam ICO's.
786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can REGULATION Really Be Beneficial to Bitcoin? on: February 14, 2019, 03:50:20 AM
Regulation introduces limitations, and limitation is not something people in the crypto space will be comfortable with due to the fact that its goes against the nature of  a decentralized platform or ecosystem. The main purpose behind the development of Bitcoin was to bring financial freedom and not limitations. Regulating Bitcoin makes it a centralized system which will be no different from how the banking sector operates. Bitcoin regulation will not bring anything beneficial, but  it will just be a hindrance to the solutions Bitcoin present to the financial space.

788  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin a Bubble or Not? on: February 04, 2019, 04:21:32 AM
invest what you can afford to lose and let Bitcoin do wonders for you.

This is what anyone who is in the crypto space and bitcoin investment need to understand, you invest what you can afford to lose. Bitcoin just like anything in this world has risks associated with it and people need to understand this. Decentralized environment is way different from that of the centralized one where a central authority controls the outcome of everything. Bitcoin operates in a decentralized platform where its market price is determined by its users and holders. Once we understand this fact, we will know that Bitcoin is not a bubble but just a digital currency with its price subjected to rapid change due to the nature of the platform it operates on.
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is not a get rich quick scheme on: February 03, 2019, 10:35:17 PM
Definitely cryptocurrency is not a get rich scheme. what people needs to know and understand is that cryptocurrency is just a digital currency like any other physical fiat. Its just a means to exchange goods and services for. Just like physical fiat, you can invest into cryptocurrency but that does not grantee you on becoming rich. The market price of it keeps changing but that is not a get rich quick signal. Its just like the currency we use to buy things.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the time to buy! on: February 03, 2019, 10:03:51 PM
Everyday is always a good time to buy cryptocurrency if only you understand the ways and the hows of the cryptocurrency market, you can invest and trade at any point in time and make some reasonable profits with low level of risks in terms of loosing money. You don't need to wait for a particular time to buy or sell cryptocurrency, research and understanding will provide you with what to buy or trade...
791  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why many traders(including me) not getting success on: February 02, 2019, 07:55:12 PM
The basic reasons surrounding why some traders are not successful in their investments and trading are due to the fact that they refuse to understand and know the basic principles need to first start a cryptocurrency investment. Investing in cryptocurrency is not similar to any other investment, you need to understand the basic risks and also need to understand how volatile the market is. Some of these traders are too greedy that they invest all their income without thinking over before investing.
792  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A better way to invest in cryptocurrency. on: February 02, 2019, 03:10:35 PM
So I think the best way to invest is this :
Have a side job, cut down your expenses, then invest 10-20% of your monthly income in the market. This way you never have to worry about gain and loss and surely you have higher chance of getting rich because the market will recover in the long run!
Apart from these, I think people who have decided to invest in cryptocurrency should spend some time to gain knowledge on whatever crypto coin they want to invest in. Knowledge provides the necessary understanding needed to know the basic outcome of an investment. Also I think the best way to invest in cryptocurrency is by investing the amount you can risk loosing. Cryptocurrency investment is not for the greed but for those who know and understand the purposes behind the development and use of cryptocurrency and the basic risks associated its investment.
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you participate in crowdfunding? on: February 01, 2019, 01:42:20 AM
People normally support projects basically to make some extra profits from what they initially invested. Crowdfunding is designed to be a means for projects to raise funds to support their projects and also to give the general public of the crypto space the opportunity to invest into the project through the purchase of their crypto coin or token. Crowdfunding in the crypto space is usually seen as investment avenue  for  people. I only participate in crowdfunding of projects with promising improvements and advancement to the crypto space.
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Zuckerberg talking about blockchain on: January 31, 2019, 11:58:37 PM
It is very good that people like Mark Zuckerberg thinks blockchain technology is relevant in terms of decentralizing the way people provide and give services online. It is time people in the tech world educate the general public on how blockchain is going to transform the world we find ourselves in it. A lot of people are naive about the purpose and the benefits blockchain technology presents to the world. As a result of their naive nature, they don't really understand blockchain and cryptocurrency..
795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cryptocurrency One Big Ponzi Scheme? on: January 31, 2019, 11:03:00 PM
I am very sure that your main reason for thinking that cryptocurency is a ponzi scheme as to do with the fluctuation in its prices. Ponzi scheme normally does not have relevant key mains and principles in terms of its way of operation. Blockchain is the tool and cryptocurrency is just a digital currency that allows the user using the blockchain to operate and provide services with this tool. The changes in the price of crypto is as a result of the decentralized nature of the blockchain technology. people decide on the price they want to sell their crypto coin, and affects the value of the coin. Cryptocurrency is no ponzi scheme.
796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Betting Sites [TRUSTED & VERIFIED] on: November 25, 2018, 11:37:53 PM
This one is a good thread to do but to think that OP really lack of many things here.

I think that OP forgot about this thread. Many questions like the one about his ratings remain unanswered. I Also like and trust PD, yolo and many other sites including jetwin, fortunejack, nitrogen, and so on. I wouldn't pick one over the other. You either play fair or you don't.

Nitrogen, a very good site for this, i used to play in there more than a few months ago, probably in February or January, i do not remember the exact date.

I used to bet on Cloudbet before, but they ended up scamming a bunch of people, so better to not bet in there if you are not looking to lose your money
797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: November 25, 2018, 11:23:43 PM
I have tried to think what goes through my mind when ever I am trying to place a bet. I think something strange do happen to me and that is I always have this thinking that what if I lose, how am I going to feel! I have never want to lose in my mind I want to win always but I think this is impossible. Gamblers here did you always want to win all your bet? If you win all how will the gambling company makes profits?

Yes that is because you are guilty.

Also, i think that you are always having such an excitement to win, that is the main reason of why you are gambling on the first place, but don't be so scared, you are not the first one.

Everybody in here are passing through the same, during those times.

798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling website to invest into? on: November 25, 2018, 10:30:46 PM
 Cool

Following the example of this ballsy dude : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5037928.0

Anyone has any recommendation on some good, big gambling websites that allow investments into the website's balance? Feel free to let me know your experience, and why you prefer any specific website.

Preferably a website that has been around for at least one year, and proven itself as a profitable source on the long term. No one likes scam exits. Cheers!

Bitvest has always been one of the best ones for doing this kind of investments.

The same applies to Bustadice, but it also depends on how the bankroll works and how much they are paying out to the investors.

Personally, i would not invest in something like this

799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Make money with martingale applied to dice game ? on: November 25, 2018, 09:51:23 PM
Hello, I know martingale  is useless for long term for dice game  but   if you have a big bank and can support  1 serie of 20 loose, you will always win no ,?
The world record  for the roulette is one serie of  26 red , it will never happen again, the odd are just very low
So if we   do martingale  with a bank that can support  20-25 loose, we will definitly make money

Martingale is useless, do not try it because you are going to lose a lot of money

Better to stop with it, because it is a nonsense and all what you are going to get, is just a big loss like all the other people that tried martingale before.

800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: November 25, 2018, 09:45:44 PM
It is not wrong if you are not harming anyone, in that case, that would be wrong.

But if you are not using other people's money, then you are gonna get in trouble, but that is obvious and i think that everybody knows that.

Gambling is a good way of entertainment also.

Who is using that for entertainment purpose, they are very rare to find and we can see only the people who is gambling to make money. And the gambling with our own money also get us in troble when we lost everything we have on our own.

It is hard for people to identify whether a certain gambler wants to earn money or just to have fun.

There are gamblers that invite his or her friends to gamble for fun but in the long run, he wants to earn money. I know that there are still a lot of people that gamble for fun, to pass time it is just that deep inside them, they also want to earn money from gambling at the same time. There are two reasons to gamble and that is to pass time and to earn money treating it as a source of income which is wrong.

Indeed, there are some people that just gamble for fun, but most of them, in reality, just want to make as much profit as they can, and we can not deny that.

But yes, what are we going to do agains that? Nothing, of course.
