I have been investing for years now in crypto casino bankrolls and recently publicly recorded the results for the last few years. I think everyone here knows it well enough for me not to have to explain how it all works (You can see the old bitcoin talk investing thread here). The first year I had great returns, basically up over 50% on average on a Bitcoin basis. The second year was very poor on a bitcoin basis, this was due to the ICO investments in crypto casinos doing very poorly and the normal investments in bitcoin bankrolls giving really low yields (less than half the previous years). The sites accepting investors is only growing and the established casinos bankrolls are inflated compared to the wagering that is going on in my opinion. So to get a bigger exposure this year I will be investing in DiceBet who allow the biggest investor leverage option (50x) and I will also be investing in Bustadice - the site that week in and week out gets the biggest amount of wagers for any dice site around. Hence the reason this is called Bustadice vs DiceBet! I will once again try to record the weekly investment returns and graph them (updated graph will be in this first post and at the latest posts). The investments will are a total of 0.6BTC as per below:- Bustadice 0.3 BTC at max leverage - DiceBet 0.3 BTC split in three different leverage levels: 0.1 BTC at 50x leverage (max) 0.1 BTC at 25x leverage 0.1 BTC at 10x leverage When a few weeks have passed I will get a good graph up. Below are screen shots showing the investments that I have put into these sites today.Bustadice 0.3BTC Initial InvestmentDiceBet 0.3BTC Initial InvestmentThere is a lot more risk this year in terms of investing in less sites and not getting diversity, plus the leverage amount is very high! Regardless of how it all goes I will be recording it all weekly.

Excellent! I was looking for something similar to this. I have some idle bitcoins which I want to invest and gambling is the one sector which I am exploring currently. I have tried to invest in p2p lending sites like btcjam and btcpop, but never got back my initial return as borrower's simple ran away with the money.
However, from what I see in the pictures, that you are actually making losses in both investments. Also as you have mentioned your onsite investment in Bustadice is now 0.28 btc as against 0.3 btc you have invested and you are actually making a loss.
Also can you guide me on what is offsite investment? I see you have more than one bitcoin as offsite investment which is not generating any profit for you. Is it like you are holding the funds with them but didn't move it to an active investment. Am I correct?
Sorr for too many questions, but I am an absolute newbie in such investments, so trying to understand more about the option.

yeah ok I have never invested in anything outside of gambling sites personally and the returns have been good. However I cannot compare them to p2p lending. So bustadice charge all new investors a 1% dilution fee that goes to all previous investors. It is a bit annoying but if you are a long term investor it will almost definitely be made back and then some. You will find a better explanation of offsite investment on their site but I just think of it as leverage. I am basically getting a bigger exposure to the profit and loss of the site but they call it offsite investment as opposed to leverage. DiceBet is currently up from the 0.3 BTC I put in, so you might be reading it wrongly. Here is a screenshot taken right now of the investment there:

Very nice experiment, will be following. I invested in DiceBet for the last couple of days in the litecoin bankroll, and I am very happy. Everything works the way it should, the leverage works great, with so many options 0.25 to 50x. 50x is risky, but still resilient.

Thank you very much for your reply! I indeed looked at the site profit and mistaken it for your loss. I will look for the explanation of for offsite investment in the website. At least your screenshots are giving me encouragement to invest my hard earned bitcoins. I will look forward for your weekly updates and come back with questions from time to time. Thanks in advance! What I see from the latest screenshot, that you have earned 25,480 SAT out of your 30000000 SAT investment in just a single day which is 0.085% in percentage. Not bad at all!

You again! There is something about your content that is very weirdly just a binge worthy type of reading instead of follow up every week. For example when you first started I was like "wow this will be interesting to watch" and then totally forgot about it and 6 months later found it back again and read every single thing you wrote about them at one sitting for couple hours then I found out about it again a bit later after your bad investments and so forth and I read that again for like half a day because I missed so much. I do not follow it everyday like crazy but whenever I find it I keep reading it until there is nothing left to read Don't know what the reason is but just wanted to give my feedback. This one will be amazing to watch as well, I can't wait to get 6 months to a year before I remember this was a thing and spend a whole day reading about it

I've also got some BTC sitting around in a spare wallet, and I may also try investing in a few casinos again after not doing so for a while. Nice to see that returns are still decent on this particular type of investment, I like the charts that you put up with every update that are included with Bustadice, it helps to visualize your investment well.
Continuing with the charts, I think it'd be better if you stuck with the dark theme you started using starting on the 9th of October. The forum background color is whitish blue, and having a solid darker background gives more visibility here. Keep up the updates!

Great charts, I've bookmarked this for review later.
Glad to see some casinos offering leveraged investments, I guess it's a great way to gambling with your investments for those who don't like playing the long game.

I've just deposited around 0.015BTC at maximum leverage (50x) on DiceBet to experiment with an investment on the site. I had some minor issues regarding my deposit, as my BTC deposit transaction was at 2 confirmations but the coin wasn't ever credited to my account, but there was a moderator that credited funds to my account after I contacted support in about a half hour. DiceBet seems nice already with their rapid support, can't wait to see how things go with this investment.

Third week and DiceBet is up over 10% in total and Bustadice is in the negative. DiceBet @0.33253099BTCBustadice @ 0.29666100BTC I would say it is a pretty impressive result by looking at your investment stats on DiceBet, as far as I know, the number of high rollers playing on DiceBet is still generally low as compared to other dice sites, but you have already earned a profit of 0.03298581 BTC from your total investment on the site bankroll, it seems that the 50.00x Leverage option that you selected does help a lot to increase your overall investment profits.

OP, I’m out of sMerit but if I had any remaining I’d send some your way for this thread. I’ve long thought about investing in bitcoin casinos but never had the balls & not understood it.
Thanks for this thread, it’s both informative & helpful.

Be careful about these investments though, they are never guaranteed. I know "house always wins" but this is leveraged and that creates a trouble with even couple big bets going on the way of the gambler would mean a very bad result for you.
All the above, if you would like to risk your money on gambling I am surely sure that betting on the house rather than the game itself is much more profitable and surely gives you a better house edge since instead of having house edge of 1% working towards you it will be working for you and that is inherently better option. This is an option for the people who already invested heavily on other stuff and would like to check it out, I do not think this is an option to have as your lone investment, if you have not invested in anything else, do not make this your only investment because even tho it has great upside it also carries a lot of risk.

Really interesting series, I'm surprised to see that you've already made such a nice ROI with that kind of leverage. Maybe it would be interesting to add another investment in the future with your profits? Perhaps on a different crypto casino? Diversification is never a bad thing

Since the house edge of Dice-Bet is only 0.7%, the investors would stand a higher chance to lose their investment on Dice-Bet as compared to other dice sites with a 1% house edge, that is one of the reason I found it amazing to see the OP gaining such huge investment profits from his BTC investment on the bankroll in Dice-Bet, but he does take a big risk too by setting the leverage on x50 and x25, and I think investors with a small bankroll might not be suitable to use this investment strategy by setting a high leverage.

Well everyone this week I got rekt high having leverage on Dice-Bet. A whale came along and although he lost in the end he was up a lot while he was betting. The 50x leverage basically got wiped out, 25x down a lot and 10x down a bit. I know other investors were sitting on 3x leverage were up as the whale actually lost money. But it looks like more than 3x leverage is way too risky... Bustadice clearly the winner over highly leveraged investments so far (and likely for this entire experiment).
