Ever wonder why an Almighty would need "your help" for something?
Well... ALL of the known Gods do. That alone is the biggest flaw of them all.

There's so many different ways to think about that.

Their gods could be wanting humanity's "help" through prayer etc, as a way to unify people, or provide strict moral guidelines...+100 more.

782  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: October 10, 2014, 01:30:58 AM
people are full of flaws).

So are the God(s) described on known religions, making them nothing but human imagination.

Of course, maybe none of the God(s) are flawed, and the only flaws lie in the people who think They are flawed.

 Cheesy

True too.

Yeah. I know you work in IT too Ignition and across my 30 years I've seen some pretty good clusterf~*^s that make you wonder how people could have been so naive but this is like they put a work experience kid from high school in charge of the project. The lack of communication as to what was about to happen, what timeframes were expected and what precautions their customers should take make even some of the most inane IT project roll-outs I've seen look reasonable. There was absolutely no warning that you'd lose all your trading history, that your account would then be sitting there unprotected by 2FA and only subject to "password reset". I'll be amazed if there hasn't been a hack during all this with someone's coins cleaned out completely.

As for the "free trades for the rest of the year" that just guarantees we're going to see ridiculous trades going on that aren't representative of a coin's actual market value; it's really going to stuff things up. This sort of amateur-hour inanity is just not good for crypto. Imagine if you'd introduced a friend to DRK, showed him or her how to buy it on Mintpal and a week later this is what they're subjected to. They'd probably not be a friend for much longer. Just unbelievable.

I'm not sure who pointed it out to me, but the Moolah CEO, his linked in profile, he literally is a kid with no experience.

So it raises a few questions...

Were MintPal in financial trouble and they sold it for $1?

How did a kid with no work experience have the money to buy MintPal if they weren't in financial trouble?

As soon as you say the word regulation or compliance, everyone shoots you down because it's so anti-libertarian...  We need something to stop these damn cowboys ruining the reputation of Crypto...

I read somewhere(google it) that the exchange, Mintpal, was sold for around 700 bitcoins.

If god does exist, it cannot be defined.

My wife does not exist, but I can still define her as someone would be married to me.

Does your nonexistent wife have complete control over every single aspect imaginable(and not imaginable) in this universe(outside as well) and infinitely more?

A truly almighty being cannot be defined...Words like omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent contradict one another(After all, they're just words with definitions, made by humans(us), just because a word means something doesn't mean the meaning is correct, people are full of flaws).

786  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: October 10, 2014, 12:47:41 AM
I think everyone is looking at this too stupidly. If god does exist, it cannot be defined. Maybe every single one of us "has god inside of us" or something similar, but we don't know.

You cant prove it doesn't exist, ever(It is impossible to prove that god does not exist, for obvious reasons). However, you can prove it does exist(If it were to present itself clearly thats proof), and I think that in itself is a reason for its existence.

This coin should have really gone with btcd's supernet or have its own coinjoin anonymity
As I mentioned a page or two ago, the CoinShuffle protocol is compatible with the MBC Scheme, and at some point we will start focusing on anonymity features, but it's not a high priority for us right now. The anonymity scheme proposed by the supernet people just wasn't convincing to me and many other people felt the same way, so I'd rather play it safe until they have proven the supernet can work as they claim.

That's how you gain exposure in the crypto world. It would of been better to go with Supernet, if at least all it did was put Cryptonote(XCN) out in the open.(Many altcoiners don't know it exists.
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite | 1st mini-blockchain coin | M7 PoW | No Premine on: October 06, 2014, 08:33:23 PM
This coin should have really gone with btcd's supernet or have its own coinjoin anonymity or something to compliment its already existing mini blockchain(since doge apparently captured that market, and for xcn to take over the tipping niche from doge, it needs a large community as well).... In order to rise coin prices you have to add on news or updates(similar to evan duffields approach with darkcoin)

Damn.. well bye.

@bitfreak: is there any new update about the lightweight browser-based wallet?
I mean the full encrypted version..
Nah I wont get around to that for a while, got some other stuff I need to deal with first.

I just try to search #cryptonite @ twitter and to be honest I'm shocked with the result. No wonder one of the most innovative coins since Bitcoin is still very undervaluated now.
@bitfreak try it yourself Wink

No, it's lack of marketable things. Most bitcoin/crypto users to much dismay, don't understand the features this coin provides via mini blockchain. They understand simpler things like anonymity, tor, speed, or even something new to compliment the mini blockchain this coin already has etc.

+1 exactly. DRK is the leader in anon hype, so when XCN will lead to a new trend ?

I was thinking cryptonite could become the "true" tipping currency. It doesn't have the rabid inflation and complete lack of features dogecoin has from being a bitcoin clone. It's mini blockchain would make it the perfect currency for micro transactions and tipping and such.

You have no idea what you are talking about, we are not brainless if we speak about constant volume and not this one which dogecoin has in his pump & dump action.

Nice that you can't respond to any point I've made, so you go the usual troll, "You have no idea what you are talking about" route. Constant volume sure is bringing Litecoin's price ever lower isn't it?

Nice fail.

Dogecoin is worth more than Litecoin. The end.
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge the life saver on: September 28, 2014, 02:23:43 PM
It's very probable that the super new and innovative coin people right now are supporting will be dead in a few months (that's what we saw so many times).
Meanwhile... with ups and downs, DOGE has almost one year old, with supportive community and growing market.

Pure nonsense. Dogecoin only gets pumped because the investors know they can make mony on it.. just like peercoin it will go down again don't be delusional.

Dogecoin it self don't give anything new we already got so why use Dogecoin if we can use Litecoin ?

Why use Litecoin when you can use literally any other coin that has at least one feature?

Dogecoin has a future because it at least has something that sets it apart from Bitcoin, that being used a tipping currency

Litecoin has no future because it's a straight bitcoin 101 copy.

Because Litecoin has more volume then any other coin out there ?

So because Asiacoin had a lot of volume during it's peak, that made it any less a scam?

Volume has nothing to do with what the coin is worth. Litecoin's price has been going down for almost a year now. iXcoin also is the 2nd securest coin besides Bitcoin, with Devcoin coming in 3rd place and Namecoin in 4th.

Litecoin literally has no uses.

With that logic why buy bitcoin? Why not buy bitshares?

BTC is everywhere. ATMs in many countries, thousands of articles every day, biggest community, sometimes info in TV/newspapers etc.
If someone think about crypto-currency - think about BTC... Wink
he was worried about tx time.. and network effect wont fix that.

Sites like bitpay make using bitcoin near instantaneous, similar to cash(0 confirms are needed).

Let's get this added to Cryptsy.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XMR] vs [BBR] - Fight!! - CryptoNote War on: September 26, 2014, 02:54:14 AM
Whilist I admire Boolberry and cryptozoidberg (Generally I admire any talented developer), the reasons for XMR being larger is because the blockchain scaling is not a problem at all in my opinion. Even Bitcoin at 20 gb blockchain is nothing, Gavin is already trying to solve this with Bitcoin and any improvement could be forked over to CryptoNote. The whole scaling problem will be solved one way or another in the future by some genius dev I am not the slightest worried it will be a problem.

XMR dev team is larger than BBR, the dev team consist of atleast 10+ different developers while Boolberry have one dedicated one named cryptozoidberg, while he should have cred for his efforts, I personally believe XMR is the better investment here. Purely speaking from an investment perspective I think any change that would be made to Boolberry for the better could be ported over to XMR easily.

Monero have a better branding name, bigger following and a seems to be the winner the marked picked in this race for anonymity.
It is clearly the winner among the CryptoNote coins.

Bigger is not better. This is a MYTH. Satoshi proved this and so have other leading devs - BTCNext, JL777, etc.

However, plans are in the works to bring in other developers to build out the BBR eco-system.. In fact, I have been contacted by several already just this week. And, one of the best in crypto, JL777 is already providing an amazing 3rd party platform through SuperNet to support the distribution of BBR.

Monero isn't a better branding name. It does have a bigger speculation following, but relatively speaking both coins are small in following. There is no WINNER. The best winner in ANON TECH will be the best ANON TECH.

You have been fed a pack of lies. You have bought into those lies. Going forward - over next 3-6 months you will see that all your points were just myths, based on nothing but hype and propaganda.

But don't take my word for it. Watch this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577267.4780 and decide for yourself in the coming weeks.

Now I know you have no idea what you're talking about. The best possible team size to have is a size of 4-9 people. Monero devs have 7, Boolberry has just 1.

Also, Satoshi Nakamoto was most likely more than 1 person, as shown by his use of the word "we" in replies.

Monero is a hugely better branding name, Boolberry sounds like a brand of cereal, not a currency.

797  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: September 25, 2014, 01:52:25 PM
God may exist, but the "god" of the religions we have throughout the world, does not. They differ so wildy in beliefs(polytheism, monotheism, etc and the people of those religion will all argue for theirs only. So that means, that the true God is either a collective of All religions on earth, or in none of the religions we have today)

Read this article....http://www.alternet.org/story/154774/the_top_10_reasons_i_don%27t_believe_in_god?page=0%2C3

500 years ago, everything "explained" by religion was false, and is now explained by science. (They believed earth was flat, geocentric model, etc)

500 years from now, everything that religious people believe as "miracles" or "fact", will be explained by science.

There's only one thing that can't be explained, and that's the origin of the universe itself. That's why I believe in an all encompassing being, "God", but definitely not the god of any religions known today, and they've all been proved wrong.

799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is no longer Prince, about to be surpassed by Ripple on: September 23, 2014, 12:06:14 AM
Litecoin was never prince. It's only real price rise was due to Bitcoin's rise in November, and because it was the first coin launched without a premine or instamine(there were other altcoins made before Litecoin). Now, it's price is not tegged to Bitcoin anymore, since during the recent Bitcoin price rise a few months ago, Litecoin continued to fall and did not follow suit.

what a ridiculous statement, LTC pumped before that. Stop the embarrassing posts. People can just check the charts. You are quickly becoming an absurd character here, and you're not even funny. Big fail.

In saying that, Ripple had more potential than anything I think, then the team messed it up. But it could have a future, and a big one if handled properly.

Are you joking, trolling, or just this ill informed.

LTC's only noteworthy price runup came because of Bitcoin's bullrun.

Ripple is centralized, has an incredible "premine" where the founders/creators hold over 80% of all Ripples, and because of that no one in their sane mind would buy that "coin".

darkota is Moneroman, I think. Sounds similarly deranged.

The rest on the list don't bother me.

In fact, this thread is probably by darkota. Or not.

...I am neither Moneroman or this "Come In Behind". I've critisized Moneroman for his reverse psychology trolling method as well as had a few posts deleted because of my "excessive swearing and verbal violence. I've only make that thread to show the reasons as to why Litecoin has failed, and frankly many people know/have already known them.
