Hello, a warm welcome for you to the forum, I am also a member of cryptotalk, I think this is the topic that you have seen about bitcoin talk and crypto talk https://cryptotalk.org/topic/109555-things-you-need-to-know-about-cryptotalk-and-bitcointalk/

It is good that you join this forum for gaining knowledge, as what my experience in cryptotalk, most of the member there are looking for money so they choose to stay on that forum because they can earn money even though they are still a beginner but you know what that money that they can earn won't help them to become better in the world of cryptocurrency because you are right that most of the topic there is not well related to the cryptocurrency. It seems like they are just creating topics for them to have additional payment.

782  Economy / Economics / Re: Stocks fall down due to trump catching the virus on: October 06, 2020, 06:09:03 AM
Is it really true that Trump has COVID now? I haven't read any news about it so far, but if that is true I think there is no relation between the price of the bitcoin and the president. The presidency is much different from the movement of the price of the bitcoin.
The real news is: COVID19 is something real.
Even if you don't believe in it, even if you don't wear mask, if you get in trouble (and you are a bit older) it's a SERIOUS issue. That's all.
That is true, its a serious problem of our economy right now, our president and any government officials are prone from the virus because they are still having some meetings and they sometimes go outside just to help and to check the situation of the society.
783  Economy / Economics / Re: Not enough Corona Virus Vaccine until 2024, at earliest on: October 06, 2020, 05:06:52 AM
Really? If that is really true then 4 years is too long, I couldn't imagine the economy of our country during those years. There are many things that are still not fully recovered, some establishment only offers 30-50% capacity and that is not good enough for fast recovery.

Despite the danger that pandemic can bring to us, people need to work outside to sustain their daily needs because our government cannot help us anymore, we need to do some moves to earn money as well and because of that, the possibility of spreading the virus goes high.
784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people keep playing unlicensed, illegal slot machines? on: October 06, 2020, 04:22:57 AM
I haven't tried playing any slot machine because I am not really into gambling and I am still young for gambling even though some online gambling has no KYC for identification, I am not still trying some of it because I know that there are still many things that I can spend my time which is more worthy than spending in a gamble. Most of the people choose to play a slot machine because sometimes they feel entertained while playing and some people really earn good profit from it.
785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin countries: top hotspots that use BTC on: October 06, 2020, 03:22:00 AM
Bitcoin becomes so popular all over the world, there are many countries adapted this decentralized financial system because of many beneficial things that it can give good benefits for every country that is using it. As we can see, most of the countries that are listed in the top hotspots that use BTC, Those countries are all now considered as rich countries maybe because of having good and advance technology so they can easily adapt cryptocurrency.
786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question: Is there any websites where I can gamble crypto under 18? on: October 06, 2020, 01:50:15 AM
As you mentioned on a specific website, it seems like you are gambling online. Most of the gambling websites that we can try have an age restriction, whenever you are not 18 years old above then you cannot join the website but actually, you may change your personal information or you can use other personal information that will fit into the requirements of the website. Just a friendly reminder to you, do not be so active in gambling, at your young age, gambling is not good for you, you should prioritize first gaining knowledge before gambling.
Please don't if you are underage.
Don't let your innocent mind be eaten by gambling at a young age.
That's true, gambling at a young age is not really good, there are many things that you may encounter while gambling that is not suitable at your age.
787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yeees it's happening on: October 05, 2020, 03:19:46 PM
Wow, this is great news, it is a good innovation for the world of crypto, it seems like cryptocurrency is now being stronger than before because of such innovation like this, I am wondering what more we can have in the future about cryptocurrency. This news is what we are looking for.

I searched on how can we use a cryptocurrency ATM, here it is:
Quote
To start, you have to decide whether you’re going to enter with a wallet (app) that allows you to scan a QR code while adding or subtracting funds from it or be prepared to make a paper wallet, which will be provided to you at most bitcoin ATMs.
Upon activating a bitcoin ATM, you will be asked if you have a wallet, or if you wish to create one. From that point on, it will take you to the next screen where you can either withdraw bitcoin, purchase bitcoin, or create that new paper wallet.

Or better you watch this video: https://youtu.be/19tVcU4rZrU

The good thing here is that we can use our cash whenever we want to buy bitcoin, we just have to make sure that our money is ready for payment but as usual transaction fees won't get away from us.

You may visit this link for more details about crypto ATM.
788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For the record, the last time we had a presidential debate, the price of bitcoin on: October 05, 2020, 02:01:32 PM
There is a big difference between the price of the bitcoin way back 2016 compared to the current year, almost $10k had increased which is really good thing for every bitcoin user who already knows the crypto world way back year 2016 or older, I think they already have a good investment that time and if they invest it for a long term, they earned a lot of money.

I dont see any relation between the price of bitcoin and the presidential debate, we all know that bitcoin changes its price everytime because of volatility so how the debate will affect the bitcoin, in fact, in fact, it has no relation to the crypto world.
789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new investment on: October 05, 2020, 11:57:20 AM
Bitcoin and any cryptocurrency are getting more important as of our current situation, there are many people who are now jobless and looking for any source of income and cryptocurrency would be the best idea for them because you don't need to go outside anymore just to earn money, you may earn online as long as you have good knowledge and experience on it. Investment in cryptocurrency is also a good idea but you should know first how risky to invest in crypto, it would be worst for you if you will lose your money in some investment especially if you dove have a stable job.
You should know these things first before investing,
Quote
here they are:
1. What is cryptocurrency?
Cryptocurrency is a digital asset use by many as a way of earning money, this is also good for having online transactions.
Quote
You exchange real currency, like dollars, to purchase “coins” or “tokens” of a given cryptocurrency. There are many kinds of cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is the most famous, but Ether, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and Ripple are a few others.
2. How does cryptocurrency work?
Cryptocurrencies are exchanged by people to people without a middleman. There is no government and bank relation in cryptocurrency, it is all your money and you are the only one who is responsible for using it.
3. Should I invest in cryptocurrency?
Well, this is the question before you invest, do you really believe in crypto? Do you have good knowledge about it then if you yes, you should invest in it.
4. Invest in confidence.
You should also know that investing in crypto is risky, you can lose your money on it because there is no assurance that you may earn from it because of the volatility of the bitcoin. You should be confident, don't be sad whenever unexpected things happen.

790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Haney vs Gamboa WBC World Lightweight Title on: October 05, 2020, 06:20:55 AM
This would be a great fight for both great fighters, both boxers have good records, I am now so excited about what Gamboa will show in the boxing ring, it seems like his last fight if he loses to Haney, Haney is still young but he already proved that he can fight with the well-experienced boxer. He also has the advantage of the age but it still doesn't matter, as Manny Pacquiao wins against younger opponents.

Quote
“Yuriokis Gamboa is a dangerous and experienced fighter,” Haney said. “He’s a former unified world champion, and he has been in the ring with some of the best. He hurt Terence Crawford with a big shot, so his power is not to be ignored.
Haney shos respect to his opponent by saying his words, it seems like he really know how great Gamboa is.
791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: everything can happen on bitvest on: October 05, 2020, 05:42:55 AM
Congratulations to you OP, you are so lucky for winning a big amount of currency. It only proves that we can earn a big profit for betting a small amount of money, so let us be him, we should not bet big money because that is really risky, there is no assurance that you will win the bet so be careful about betting big amount. It is good if we bet a small amount then we will try it many times. We know that it would take a lot of time but it is worth it than betting only once because of losing all of your money. I would appreciate it more if you also include the story of yours before winning the prize.
792  Other / Off-topic / Re: Too Much Of? From Crypto Content Creators on: October 05, 2020, 03:50:26 AM
What are some of the things you see too much of from many Content Creators?
Sharing their experience and knowledge about the crypto world, mostly ate focused on speculations, reviews on exchanging websites, and so on.

What are some things you feel many are lacking when it comes to content of information about crypto?
Good advice and lack of creativity in discussing the information, some arr also lack entertainment, most of the people caught their attention when they are entertained by the videos.

What types of things maybe Content Creators should focus on?
They should focus only on the things they are comfortable or they really have good knowledge about it, it is really hard for every content creator to express and discuss very well the topic if they don't have enough knowledge about it. Exploring or thinking outside the box is good but they should prioritize first the things they are comfortable with.

What interests you most to watch a specific content creators?
The credibility of the speaker, I am also looking for the vlogger who is really good at explaining things, I also like when there is a good animation on the video.

Who Feels that they are not getting what they want from the video community?
Me sometimes, there are a lot of crypto content creators, there are also many videos that I can say good and bad based on the knowledge and how they deliver it but we can't blame those content creator because they are free for the things they want to share to all of us and we are also free to give suggestions and criticism for their videos.

Maybe there is something that is lacking for the information you wish to see more of?
Informative, well explanation and entertainment are all that I am looking for content.

794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you prefer? Live casino games or slots? on: October 03, 2020, 03:17:12 PM
I prefer to play on live casino games compared to the slot because I tried the slot games once and I find it so boring because you just need to click and click and then wait for the result which is something you don't need to put effort or use your mind unlike to live casino game which is more exciting because you should be in the good presence of mind to have the advantage of winning. It is betteifnyou use your skills and techniques whenever you do gambling, unlike for relying on luck which is really hard for you to win.
it is the Mood and Money that dictates which games i will choose,Live casino is cool for ambiance and for long playing, but this will be different if you have not enough money.
so it will end up Slots that you try your luck in small start and make a bets that enough for your capital,if lucky to win big then
may consider playing in table with high amount of bets.
Actually, both kind of games requires capital, nothing has exemption in gambling, you really need money before you play.

796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miami Dade to open Casinos and Restaurants for the third time. on: October 03, 2020, 02:38:52 PM
There are many active gamblers who will go for that Miami Dade especially those active and addict to gambling, there are so many months have passed that they don't play a casino game because of the pandemic and as well all know, an active gambler will choose to play on physical gambling rather than playing online gambling because of having a different feeling of ambiance. I am hoping that the opening of this casino won't make the pandemic spread, they should still observe the social distancing and strictly implement of wearing a face mask. They should also provide alcohol or any disinfectant in the casino.
797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a high roller? on: October 03, 2020, 01:55:39 PM
I am not really active in gambling so I cannot consider myself in high roller, I am not gambling all the time because I know how risky it is, it is so easy for us to lose our money in gambling but is really hard to earn especially in a game with multiplayer.
Never ever on my gambling career to have done that big bets neither in doing slots, dice or sports-betting thats why i can definitely say that im just a regular small-time gambler.
The same thing with me, I never take a risk my money in gambling, there are many people who destroy their lives because of gambling, losing a big amount of your money in gambling can cause depression because you lost it in a moment. The worst thing about it becomes an addict and cannot focus anymore on other things.

Thank you for the permission to join the interview @zasad@

Questions:
1. When and why did you become interested in cryptocurrencies?
The first thing I heard cryptocurrency is on the year of 2018 because of one of my classmate, he told me about some things about cryptocurrency and how does it work but I am not really interested that time because I am only focused on my studies, so basically I ignored him to try it and to join this forum and then way back May 2020, while having a good conversation with my friend, he recommended this forum saying that this is good for earning money and learning cryptocurrency and because of that I created my account to this forum and it really makes me so interested in cryptocurrency because of the things that I have learned here. I also joined on some forums and some websites where I can earn a little bit of cryptocurrency, I became more interested in it because it helps me in my finances and there is a big possibility that our country will accept this as an alternative financial system.

2. When and why did you buy your first bitcoin?
I bought my first bitcoin may be in the month of June because one of my friends sent me a link for an investment website, it offers to double my money for only 24 hours but nothing happens, I got scammed from the website and I lost my 0.001 BTC, even her was shocked because she did not expect it as a scam.

3. How did you get on the forum?
Just like what I have said in the first question, it is all because of my friend who told me to join here. I am so thankful to him because I learned a lot from here and it makes me more active in the crypto world.

4.1. What prevents mass adoption of cryptocurrencies?
Fear and lack of knowledge prevent the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies, just like in our country there are many people who are afraid to explore in crypto world because of thinking that it is a scam. We don't have also an organization that helps us to introduce the good things that we may acquire from cryptocurrency.

4.2. How do you think mass advertising of gambling projects has a positive effect on the development of the forum or harms the community?
As we all know gambling is already part of many people in this world, there are many people who gamble because of entertainment and the money as well. There are also big names who really do gamble and it will help the community to grow, besides many of our signature campaign is from gambling so I think it is a good move for the community to become well known by many people.

4.3. How do you consider whether 2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough to successfully invest or does an investor need to receive special education?
I think 2-3 years of experience is a good advantage to have a successful investment, that is already a long experience and by that, for sure you already learned a lot of things that will help you to invest properly. With that 2-3 years experience, you can also use it to take special education which will really help you as a bitcoin user.

5. What do you think of the current Merit system and signature campaigns?  Do they harm the forum?
I don't think that the merit system and signature campaigns will harm the forum, well in fact the merit system makes the forum organized and full of useful information. The merit system also helps us to build good characteristics of a person, just like me, it helps me to put effort and time into the things that I need to do. It also helps me gain knowledge because whenever I create a topic I really do research first so I can have merit as well, signature campaigns are really good as well because it helps the forum become more popular around the world.

6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?
Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ this is the most useful forum topic because without the rules the forum won't work so well, the forum will not be organized and there would be many spammers in the forum. It also helps every newbie understand the nature of the forum and avoid getting banned.

Regarding the most helpful users, all can be the most helpful based on what you really want and need to learn in the world of crypto, there are many people who already created good and quality topics that help me in the world of crypto. Best regards to all the admin who observe the cleanliness of the forum.

7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?
Thank you for this question, it helps me and other member speak out what they want to add in this forum.
1. One thing that I notice upon my first time of creating an account in this forum is that they don't have 2FA security unlike other forums or social media accounts. I am hoping that they will enable this feature in this forum to avoid getting hacked.
That is the only thing that I want to have in this forum because I am already happy and contented working here.

8. Do you trade on exchanges or invest in projects?
I am not active in it because I don't have too much money to do it.

9. Tell a story about your big profit or a big loss?
I am still new in the world of crypto, one and only of my big loss is when I was scammed by an investment website, that is all.

10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?
DEFI system is really good and should be implemented in many countries because it helps us for having good and secure online transactions.
There are also many people who don't want or too lazy to go outside just to have a manual transaction or going to any banks, Defi system would avoid those things.

11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?
We really need this but because of this there are many scammers and hackers become active in criminal activities because of thinking that they won't be caught by authorities.

12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?
I don't read any cryptocurrency book because I already contented on the things that I can learn from the forum and searching on the internet.

13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?
1. Bitcoin
2. Ethereum
3. Bitcoin
I really love and trust bitcoin.

14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?
I am hoping that it is above $20k

P.S. Keep on learning, let us make this forum grown and best.
