781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop shielding Scam, fake, or unproductive altcoins project on: December 21, 2019, 02:58:48 PM

Since the time ETH offers tokenization of everything, companies are seeing it like they can be part of the market and distribute wealth thru the tokens they give to their investors. Though these projects are every centralize, investors are seeing it like its not because its using blockchain. Some of the projects just release a token that doesn't even have any usecase in the platform they built which is why it doesn't have a value in the end.
782  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plan if no significant move on Bitcoin price along with the halving? on: December 21, 2019, 01:33:19 PM
If the halving doesn't make the price go more than $10k by the first Q3 of 2020, I'd probably be selling more altcoins to start my small business or I'd be seeking a new  day job by then and will just check my altcoin investment from time to time. I'm staking coins and become a node to some altcoins as well. Its not going to earn me thousands a month, definitely can't provide substantial amount of money for me to live comfortably.

An exchange site with a cheap website?

I would hardly call their design "Cheap" in any way. Looks quite professional and that's coming from a UI designer. Anyway, I did some quick digging. The domain was updated on 2019-07-02. Updating doesn't mean the website came up from the dead. It just means they went probably live with their betas/testing during that time. Also, it's registered via escrow.com so most likely they have spent some dough on this domain to acquire it. Their CEO (Dustin Walper) has been fairly active on twitter from the past few days, other than that his activity looks pretty normal. I feel like they have gone into their promotional phase now, hence why we are seeing this post. I couldn't find any reviews of their exchange except from one tweet from a guy named "Jack Dani". His profile looks legit as well. Anyway, I feel like they should have designed a professional thread for Bitcointalk. This thread adds no confidence to new users.

People find it hard to trust new exchanges, even when its professionally done like this one. We can see its a Canadian exchange which the Quadriga is fairly new to be forgotten. They might have to do something extra ordinary to get more clients, a better example is the do a campaign in the forum where users receives their pay in the exchange wallet. Its the most possible way to get reviews from users here at the same time.
784  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin price pump to $20k dollars next year? on: December 20, 2019, 06:44:09 PM

Bitcoin bull run will possibly rush on 2021 which the possibility if the timeline will the guide, it could start by Q3 of 2020, that a long wait for someone who had been praying for Santa to come this Xmas. But I would really be thinking about more than $20k as well.  It just can't happen from pump after pump because a lot will get rich there has to be dumps too just like how it went from $6600 to $7200 last week.  If it doesn't happen by next year, I guess we are all going to be disappointed again by our expectation.

785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Chainlink destined for New Highs in 2020? on: December 20, 2019, 05:54:41 PM
Chainlink had been ranking up this year which many of us must have noticed it on CMC. I tried checking it just when I learned its on the first 100 to see why people are buying it. Real world use is what it offers. I would really be buying more of it.

This is one of the news about this project and if you are folowing the ETH developing in Defi -  Breakthrough for DeFi: Chainlink and Synthetix enter into partnership
786  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any legit websites to earn bitcoin fast without a withdrawal fee? on: December 20, 2019, 05:07:59 PM

Yep Cryptotalk still is paying its users for 1k satoshis per post, its worth doing if you aren't doing anything at all. I even wanna go there and participate the discussion. I was thinking if they are hiring moderators because I'm willing to apply, I'm sure a lot are spamming the forum for they allow 30 posts a day for the campaign.

I don't know if they're still doing it but Coinbase were giving you free crypto for doing some mindless crypto surveys. You can exchange the shitcoins they pay out for BTC.

Looks like it is still going - https://www.coinbase.com/earn

They pay out more if you do some successful referrals but keeping it to yourself gives you a bit too. I presume you need to be fully signed up and verified with them to do it.

They are still doing it. Long time ago I was doing it just like few other exchanges before, yobit still is doing it but the rewards aren't worth waiting.
787  Economy / Economics / Re: Exchanges are rebelling against constant hard forks on: December 20, 2019, 04:43:04 PM

Not that its going to be my problem though, I don't think one exchange will really be making the rest of the exchanges delist the altcoins. If it was binance who announced they are delist all altcoins, many exchange will likely to follow the action.

They could just pause the deposit and withdrawal of the coins if they are that lazy to update but delisting is going to be such a drastic. But then anyway I don't have an account in coinfloor. The title of the thread should be revised.
788  Economy / Economics / Re: Exchanges are rebelling against constant hard forks on: December 19, 2019, 06:55:28 PM

Coinfloor is the first to have done delisting all altcoins. If all other exchanges follows, its bad for the altcoins prices, the altcoins are already down for years so i hope it won't happen. There is a lot to lose for them if they delist all. Maybe the exchange just too tired to keep updating the blockchain after ethereum fork taking too long, the technical team got frustrated.  Grin
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Altcoins not Growing These Days on: December 19, 2019, 05:03:59 PM

Altcoins are becoming greener. The most green so far this week are Cosmos (ATOM) and the Stratis, charts are looking good and they were not dumped recently. Interesting because the top coins are in red for weeks and maybe the whales are giving us a chance to get into it before it will fly. One thing that is very true is that more traders are coming into the market and what they are using right now are exchange tokens BNB and KCS are what they need which its going to be profitable to invest to them.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: xrp to 28$ on: December 19, 2019, 03:56:10 PM

It would really shock a lot of users who doesn't like XRP if it goes $28 for what ever the cause is. XRP seem to have been traded in all exchanges and are being used widely which they claimed they can cover more than 50K TPS but that alone isn't going to make its price skyrocket, they partner with a lot of banks but price aren't not reacting to their news. For XRP's price to go up, I guess it will just need BTC to go up more than $20k and possibly reach $28 without doing something.
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano (ADA): A New Cryptocurrency and More on: December 19, 2019, 03:18:35 PM
Daedalus for incentivized testnet staking is finally available!

https://staking.cardano.org/en/delegation/

Too bad I haven't installed daedalus before nov29 but thanks.  Would you recommend a pool or just myself staking?

You didn't need Daedalus before the snapshot; you need that only now. You can simply download it and start staking. Smiley

I've recently changed my pool to DIGI. It's of Rick and I like the guy.

I thought I read something else, so I'm good to go then that I stake even when my ADA are not in my daealus during the snapshot. Will try to withdraw it to my wallet today. I'm still going to buy some for its a lot cheaper today but i can't afford millions of it. How much ADA do you think will give you substantial amount of profit every month?

I'd recommend you to use the following calculator for that:

https://staking.cardano.org/calculator/

About the testnet staking, what I meant by "didn't need Daedalus before":

You should've had your ADA at any of the following during the snapshot:

-Yoroi
-Daedalus
-Paper wallet
-Any wallet of which you've got the private key.

Withdrawing ADA from an exchange will NOT enable you to participate in the incentivized testnet at this point.

I realized that last night, I went there in their forum to ask what I didn't understand. I have already sent my ADA to my daedalus though. Will just wait till its open for late comers. I don't mind since I got these coins with discounts.

https://twitter.com/WeissCrypto/status/1207328448651419648

I also fully agreed with them on this statement but only strong hands will enjoy this wave when it will reach to its potential value. I think that is perfect moment to fill the bags on recent value and there is good chance to make big profit.

Probably so. It would take a lot patience to finally see price go up. Strong hands will even be shaken if something happens in the future but its a good thing the team will thoroughly test its development before deploying. Hope to survive without dumping.

792  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance blocked withdrawal without reason! on: December 19, 2019, 02:54:24 PM

They aren't going to be blocking your account without reason, 30BTC is a big amount they might suspect it comes from suspicious wallet that could be the reason. I'm curious if you did contact them in the past 4 weeks and probably post screenshots of their response.

Binance had quarrel to other reputable exchange, there be reason why some are spreading lies about them, what you point out below applies to most exchanges not just binance. Kucoin probably have the same reasons for them to block an account.

Binance is one of the most trusted exchanges out there. Shouldn’t have just ban you without any valid reasons. This can get them in trouble legally if they did so. Try contacting them and ask exactly why your withdrawals are not being processed.
Guys, thanks for advices. The only thing, that really scares me is the fact of Binance being able to block your account for any thing, that look suspicious at their point of view. This information can be found in official document Terms & Agreement:
By accessing the Service, you agree that Binance shall have the right to investigate any violation of these Terms, unilaterally determine whether you have violated these Terms, and take actions to apply relevant rules without receiving your consent or giving prior notice to you. Examples of such actions include, but are not limited to:
  • block and close order requests
  • freezing your account
  • reporting the incident to authorities
  • publishing the alleged violations and actions that have been taken
  • deleting any information you published that is in violation
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Scalability on: December 18, 2019, 09:10:12 PM
So far its the lightning that is working well for BTC and makes it better because of low fees.
Lets say sharding is successfully deployed in ethereum and has improved their TPS, would it be possible for it to be with BTC as well without it being complex as creating channel like the LN?

794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming Is Key to the Mass Adoption of Crypto on: December 18, 2019, 07:59:42 PM

The fact that they give incentives to gamers who play the game by rewarding tokens like EOS and TRX is encouraging people go install the games. I am one of those who had already install a game that I like which were built on top of EOS platform. Played a bit and very interesting to see more users I find there doesn't have deep knowledge to EOS but are busy earning the token. ANd also on cointele article, I read some gamers earn rare items in the game and sell these items for ETH.
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New Ethereum DEX with unique features. Is it useful? on: December 18, 2019, 05:11:46 PM

*No central token registry means anyone can list anything, including fake tokens. Always search and verify by token address. Use at your own risk.

This will really be taken by scammers as a chance to push their project to new investors so yes your DEX is useful for scammers as well not just to people who avoid KYC. I don't know if its unique but you seem confident of you security so opensource is usually good because its going to be checked by developers to see the codes. What is Rogue Pin?

796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: December 18, 2019, 03:55:08 PM
........... XRP is falling whilst everything else is rising.

Sure in scammers fantasy world maybe in real world
BTC started the year at: $3843,52  and is now at  $6640,52
XRP started the year at: $0,364771  and is now at  $0,183699

one doubled the other one halved in price (not supply)

Yes XRP price is very low and it is almost as if the 2017 rally never happened...........

More worthless drivel before the rise XRP was $0.006 now at a massive inflated $0,183

Well that's something for the long term holder since time. A lot had bought XRP sure when its less than a cent. I myself had been holding it since 2015. The project however is nothing sort of a scam already when they can keep distributing to companies (moneygram) that will just dump out of regulatory issues. If they so believe the project they could have done something to resolve instead of trying the exit path.

798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is very bad for the European crypto community! on: December 17, 2019, 08:00:24 PM

They've been gathering KYC already so if you have submitted in the past, there is nothing left to hide anyway. EU are just asking for KYC, they not banning BTC. But its still going to affect prices. Its what is happening, the prices are stumbling in the dark while whenever there are good news the prices are going to rise up fast as how it stumble.
799  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs stock markets on: December 17, 2019, 06:24:39 PM
Both market can make you profit if you are good at it.  But I can imagine how difficult that would be if you trade on both market. Crypto market is addictive specially because you as a user here in bitcointalk can participate in the investigation and may even accuse the team who develops  the project in case you are frustrated with what the team is doing. Its best to enjoy the norms here in crypto.

You can't do that in Stock Market. You can't just publish something and get a dim light for few stock market investors to listen to you, they operate on close doors.
800  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin could be 6000$ soon give us your opinion on: December 17, 2019, 04:36:56 PM

It has never been considered a "safe" market.  Of course crypto price short term is pure speculation.  Dont read technical analysis for bitcoin and think it will hold true.  As with anything else dont put in more than you can afford to lose.  (Still the most badass market to put money in on  Cheesy)

There is no option left for a bitcoin holder but to rely on reading charts because every body does it and and fud are stronger when it comes to sending a message about dumping. When they say its price is going below $6k, it will likely to happen because some have to dump in order to buy back and earn few BTC after.

hello we all see a few movement Indicate that btc will go down to 6k is this  possible what would be your opinions
it is and it does, check the price again now https://coinmarketcap.com/ it is clear that we are at 6$k dollar level again.
some says sell?while i say buy.
we are near to what we are all waiting season and that is on May,so selling is not a good idea instead Buying is perfect timing.

There are users doubting that season would come and they see LTC as an example of what had happened. LTC holders expect halving to make its price to go up but its the opposite that happen which could also happen in BTC.
