781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: best equipment for mining cryptocurrencies with 5k start up on: January 21, 2018, 05:13:59 PM
You decided to mine ethereum and your electricity cost $0.06/KWH. So this is a short overview, let's said between AMD and NVIDIA. You can buy one 1070Ti with $900 ++, but you can buy two RX 580 8gb with $900 plus $50-$100. Let's talk about hashrate on Ethereum, 1070Ti 30-34Mhs, RX 580 8gb 29-31Mhs. Now about Power Consumptions, Two RX 580 same as 3-4 power consumption of 1070Ti. The choice is in your hand.

Also are there any compatibility issues with motherboards, processors, and various GPUs?

This is no big deal, all of the devices have a technical compatibility note.
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Motherboard for 4 GPU on: January 21, 2018, 04:51:08 PM
How do you think with this motherboard - ASUS PRIME B250-PLUS, there will be problems?

I want that 4 GPU steadily worked.

IMO, that's a good choice for only 4 GPU on it. It seems you prepare for stability instead quantity, I like this decision. Since mining needs stability for a long term. Many people try to get 7+ PCIe socket on MOBO, but it will be needed extra time for watching and maintenance.
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 370w system consumption WITHOUT GPUs. Wrong setup? on: January 19, 2018, 10:42:55 AM
So i put the meter to the socket to check what is the acutal consumption of my sys and i really was suprized. around 90w in indle, which is okay. but 370w when the miner is running.
is it 370 W, power consumption on the motherboard system?
If yes let's calculate, Processor has 55W TDP, PCIex16 socket on motherboard will supply max 75 W to VGA. PCiex1 will supply a maximum of 25 W to VGA. let's assume you use one PCIex16 and four PCIEx1.

When PCIE mining on board will supply 75 W + 4x25 W + 55 W = 230 W, excluding Fan system, SSD, and additional fan. So the power consumption of 370 W when running the mine is normal.
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Motherboard for 4 GPU on: January 19, 2018, 10:15:25 AM
One of my rigs uses the Asrock H81 PRO BTC R2, which is used for 6 GPU and has been running for 1 year. But there are some OPs who complain about some problems on this motherboard, and some members have answered it with sharing experience while using this MB.
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I just found out my mining programs have been extoring me on: January 19, 2018, 06:06:57 AM

what is it 1% every hour of 24 hours is  24%a  day  thats basically like getting taxed by the government...\

24% of myt hashes and electricty the righteous DEV has been STEALING from me

not to mention we have to pay taxes 35%  now on your gains, in America at least.

so now 50 cents out of every dollar is being taken from me, this is barbaric
hey Dude, if you don't want to "pay" for DevFee. You can build your own software. In the USA, when you buy a drink, the price is included in the drink tax. When the drink runs out you throw it in the trash. then the bottle or cup of the drink is no longer useful. have you protested? In addition, this is a useful software for the mining process and generates dollars for you. Nothing is free in this world. Dead must also pay.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: what do you think about this card on: January 19, 2018, 04:10:43 AM
if you can grab the cards now - take it, cause now there is global shortage for any gpus
it seems that nvidia and amd underestimated the sales for Q1 for 2018 and that is why there is global shortage, especially amd cards
so that is why I'm saying if you found the stocks = grab it
yes i really agree with you.
atm, GPU of the type commonly used miners are very difficult to get in the market instantly. If there is, you must pre-order and you must give away some of your money first (Offline Store). If On-line Store you must enable email notifications, the stock already exists.
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: what do you think about this card on: January 19, 2018, 03:59:26 AM
There are some people who OP ask about what is the difference Sapphire RX580 NITRO + VS RX580 Pulse.
There is no significant difference unless Nitro + comes with a better VRAM from Pulse. But in the case of mining it is not a serious matter. You just do OC and you get the same effect with Nitro +. So you are very lucky if anyone will give the card for free.

For PSU, we start from mathematics calculation. RX580 Pulse has a TDP of 185 W. 3x185W = 555 W. yes the PSU you have is sufficient.
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I just found out my mining programs have been extoring me on: January 19, 2018, 03:41:05 AM
Yes, for me it's a natural thing that software developers take a percentage of our hashes (DevFee). That's also a very small percentage. Without Dev software, who will connect to the miner's equipment and the pool equipment or the coin algorithm to be mined? Think of it as a sign of gratitude to them.
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Stability Issues on: January 19, 2018, 03:31:32 AM
estimate power shortage to GPU, try check cable from PSU to RISER. or if you have other PSUs, try it. Can also corrupt OS. I've experienced the same thing. I try to do things like above and succeed.

790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sia Obelisk ASIC - do or don't? on: January 18, 2018, 09:43:13 AM
You will wait too long for the tool above. the quality has not been tested real by the miners. better to buy a tool that has been tested and widely used by the miners. and choose a manufacturer that has been trusted and make delivery less than 2 weeks.
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: No-name motherboard on: January 18, 2018, 09:29:38 AM
The above motherboard looks good, as long as other supporting components like Processor, and PSU is good. and you can fix the problem when installing all GPU slots. Because usually if more than 4 GPU there is always 1 or 2 GPU that is not detected, let alone this more than 6 GPU.

but my advice is better to use max 7 or 8 GPU motherboards. because in addition to more easily solve the problem if there are 1 or 2 GPU that is not detected.
792  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 80% OF AVAILABLE BITCOINS ALREADY MINED. NOW WHAT? on: January 18, 2018, 09:02:05 AM
ivebeen reading an artcile about mining and found this info : 80% OF AVAILABLE BITCOINS ALREADY MINED.
whats does this means ?
That is the amount of bitcoin left to mined by 20%. if it has reached 100%. Whether the change from POW to POS, or could be a miner only to confirm the transaction only, so the miner can only get a fee from the transaction itself. We will see later.

is it too late ot get in ? Undecided
It's never too late if you have a tool for mining.
because here forum altcoins. Of course, the equipment used  GPU to mine. Did you mean using GPU? It can not be done because Network hashrate and Difficulty are high. unless you mine altcoin then converts it to Bitcoin.
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 8 gpu target ASUS Z270 / MSI Z170A GAMING PRO CARBON on: January 18, 2018, 08:18:05 AM
I assume you already have M.2 to the PCI-Express adapter (you can get on ebay, amazon, newegg). For Asus Z270 A motherboards when using win 10, be sure to enable 4G Decoding in the motherboard BIOS so that the OS can detect the number of GPUs that you install.
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The most profitable altcoin to mine on CPU on: January 17, 2018, 11:51:02 AM
You mean by mining the CPU using GPU?. If not using GPU better don't use CPU. because the CPU has a much different performance when compared to using GPU.

The thing to know from mining using a CPU is a CPU will be damaged, less profit. and the resulting hashrate is very small. not to mention the minimum PO limit set by the pool. Mining using the CPU only spends time and electric.
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Only CPU miner for powerpc on: January 17, 2018, 11:07:38 AM
but which miner to be able to run on my configuration
I think it is very difficult to mine with the CPU. I also once tried to mine with the CPU (ETN and minergate) although different from the configuration you have.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Only CPU miner for powerpc on: January 17, 2018, 09:34:51 AM
If you intend to use the CPU without using GPU. You can try mining ETN or XMR. But my advice is better you don't mining without using GPU. Because it will have a small profit, not even profit. Moreover, hardware damaged due to excessive heat and waste of electricity. But if only to know the process of mining, that's something good.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: help to assemble mining ring on: January 17, 2018, 09:24:37 AM
Yes. You can use windows 10, because the type of memory will can't be checked, before you buy it first. Some people are very happy if the GPU has memory a Samsung type, this type is higher hashratenya when compared with other types of memory.

Any site that provides calculations on coins is not always appropriate. You should try some algo then conclude. Indeed for a nice AMD card in algo ETTHASH. let alone you have free electricity
798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: hardware availability! on: January 16, 2018, 12:18:00 AM
The problem of running out of stock is already a common thing, whether it's stock runs out or seller held until high prices. But whatever the problem, I personally always look for other Alternatives to get the hardware. By switching the GPU Brand but having the same hashrate in certainly Algo or the same relative price considerations. Indeed if NVIDIA has a more efficient power consumption in the appeal of AMD, But the price is slightly expensive.
799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 650W Enough for 2x 1080 Ti ?? on: January 14, 2018, 07:06:04 AM
1080 ti has a TDP of 250 W, The mathematical calculation is 2x250 = 500 W. if 650 W PSU only has the remaining 150 W, I think it's too less. not to mention POWER for MOtherboard, SSD, and USB RISER and other devices. It's safer to use a PSU 700 or 850 W, this is to keep the other device from less power.
800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: are AMD cards going to be even profitable? on: January 14, 2018, 06:46:07 AM
Most GPUs in my RIG are AMD (RX series) cards. and has been running for 2 years. Until now still good, although the DAG file is getting bigger.

I'm sure AMD card manufacturers are definitely more innovative in updating their products including the RX series. and if talking about the profit coin that should be mined, then the most important is the knowledge of which coin is the most profitable for the miner regardless of the use of AMD or NVIDIA cards.
