781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: problems with bitcoin holder on: November 23, 2016, 09:30:29 AM
75.9% ( 15,947,975 bitcoin) of the bitcoin is already mined so to circulate bitcoin all over the world there is only few bitcoin because many bitcoin user are holding bitcoin and waiting for price hike. So what would happen if the continue holding and we are left with only few bitcoin to circulate. So can it act as global currency or we need some modification.
Bitcoin prices are determined by demand and supply. When the demand for bitcoin increases, prices rise, and when request decreases, prices down, which means that request must follow the amount of inflation to keep prices stable, if keep holding can result increases price bitcoin
In my opinion is different, if many people are holding bitcoin can make deflation and the price of bitcoin is go down. many people are holding bitcoin but I suggest to spending few bitcoin to make circulation of bitcoin is stable and the price still high.
I respect your opinion, but pointing an example that what if many people will bitcoin it will reduce it's value is not always accurate. Though a lot of people are holding bitcoins but the demand is low, still we will not be able to see a great price of bitcoin.
782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 23, 2016, 08:10:58 AM
Lakers won against Thunder after a very close fight by just margin of 2 points so it's great pick to pick +5.5, but Lakers played wonderful today and beat Thunder that is great comeback and will boost their morale after back to back lost and now Thunder lost 2nd in a row there.
They deserve the win, that's what happens when Thunder was heavily favored. Westbrook can't do it himself, and it was already predicted by the lakers that westbrook will be going to make the last shoot. Lakers played like a team, and they have complete balance scoring, that's why they win.
783  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: November 23, 2016, 08:04:02 AM
My kid wants to make some money.

I never cared much of those easy systems but seems it would work for him.

I gave him 2 faucets but i ALSO remember there was servers/games where one could make Bitcoin [or altcoin] just for playing.

Would you remind ?

I can`t remember about any legit bitcoin game that pay btc just for playing.

I`m not talking about gambling.

Maybe sig campaigns and faucets are the best way so far.
Not really, your kids would not comprehend the discussions here. It will only result to spamming where our moderators are hating that much. Faucets are too easily, it does not involve enough knowledge, so it's just good for them. It's a step by step procedure actually.
784  Economy / Economics / Re: Soo, I'm planning on buying €1000 in bitcoins. Yes or no? on: November 23, 2016, 07:56:46 AM
Do it as soon as possible ! Then put it in a cold wallet and forget about it for a decade. Then enjoy : your money has been multiplied !
Forgetting about it it’s not a good idea since you could actually forget about it and never recover those coins, the value of the coins could multiply that is true but with no way to access it then you will be in trouble.

Oh yes, the main thing not to forget the password to the wallet. Then it will be certainly successful investment. Still not too late to buy Bitcoins.

I agree it is not late to invest in bitcoin.  Bitcoin has a lot of potential to grow.  Actually there is a lot of room for the growth of bitcoin especially its development and  Price.  If you invest right now, and the development of bitcoin finds its way to decrease confirmation time, then there is a possibility that your money will be 10 fold.
Yep it’s not too late; personally I will not consider it too late until bitcoin has been around for a long, long time, since bitcoin is still relatively new then there is still the opportunity to earn a good amount of money in the future.

Yes, That's a Huge and more than enough investment in bitcoins. Bitcoins can considered as a good investment. Years from now bitcoins may be popular as a star. Bitcoins is also potential to grow more and more. If you buy now and the prediction came true that bitcoins may reach up to 1000 dollar per BTC then you are lucky if you have buy bitcoins at lower price. If I have that capital, I would not think anymore or even have a second thought to invest on bitcoins.
It's a huge amount but make sure you can afford that amount to invest. There's no easy investment here although in the past we have seen people are very successful particularly the early adopters, but this time there's more risk as many have interests with bitcoin already. I do believe the price will increase but your investment should be what you can afford.
785  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: November 23, 2016, 07:45:02 AM
I think history is just repeating itself, if you are an earlier adopter of bitcoin the price did even reach $1,200 before the Mt. Gox incident. And I say that this is not just the only year that bitcoin became wonderful. We can expect more to come together with some crash but that is not that big that we are thinking.

Price reached $1,200 because Mt. Gox back then was the only one big Bitcoin exchange. They manipulated the price so high to avoid people withdrawing funds from it. It is said that a huge amount of bitcoins had been stolen earlier, and the exchange owner tried to cover his failure by using a bot that had been constantly bidding the price up. It couldn't last forever, and once everything came to light, Mt. Gox went bust and Bitcoin price collapsed.

There is no evidence that history is repeating itself.
Definitely the current situation is just real, the past was an experience that makes us more mature nowadays. If you notice the price increase, you can tell that it's gradual and that would simply mean it's not manipulated, it's the real demand and supply.
786  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: November 23, 2016, 07:24:08 AM
Bitcoin absolutely worth to me. I have bought many bitcoins and used them since 2015 and i find it very effective and useful in many ways. Thanks to bitcoin, i can send money abroad in only a blink of an eye.
The convenience of using it, and the security of a payment system backed by Blockchain Technology, are some of the reasons why Bitcoin is worth to me as well.
Another interesting aspect is that Bitcoin allows the user to make profits, that means, btc is more than a way to send money and store value.
Bitcoin is a currency so it is going to offer lots of opportunities to earn some like most fiat money does already but the difference is bitcoin is completely online so our ability to make money over the Internet are multiplied.

And not just you can earn bitcoin online, what you need to do is if you want to have some bitcoins. You can just easily buy it on a trusted exchange website. That will make you accept that bitcoin is really worth for you have invested your own money and trusted into it. It is not just all about investments but also the convenience of services that it can give to us.
I agree with your because bitcoin was created not for the purpose of investment, it's just a means where we will be able to spend our bitcoins online without paying bigger transaction fee, and this smart people sees the potential of this coin in the near future that's why they are investing to benefits of the demands.
787  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to manage money? on: November 23, 2016, 06:55:03 AM

Yeah, there are people who are living the way they want and they are spending what they cannot afford for their lifestyle.

They always to be what's on the trend but as they spend their money, they are not managing it well. That's why I can say that I'm a good manager of my money.

I don't imitate them with their lifestyle and I just spend my money on the things that I need.

Then you can call these people as dumb, in the end they will just borrow money and will be in debt of the rest of their lives due to lack of self discipline.
you know to be rich you must have the discipline nature, you have the discipline to continue to save bitcoinmu, according to plan and the discipline to not be wasteful in the use of money, discipline is very important to you in your plan to save money
That's the hardest thing which is to sacrifice, we are just human and we have a lot of wants but with but we have to focus on our goals, and sacrificing our own happiness for a better one can help. The outcome should have a good amount of savings that we will be able to use for future business venture.
788  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Skills vs Luck *poll* on: November 23, 2016, 06:40:06 AM
When trading What Matters More Skills or Luck?
You need both but the most matter is skills or strategy because in trading not only luck you need like in gambling you need a brain too, the luck is just 10% of need in bitcoin trading.
Well, you can improve your skills but you cannot do it with your luck. As a trader, you must be focus with skills along and if we say a specific trader is skillful that is understood to be knowledgeable as well. Luck will help you along the way but do not expect it.
789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: November 23, 2016, 06:25:40 AM
Just follow your instict and you will be fine Smiley
And by the its a gamble we really dont know what will happen after we bet so just allow your assessment to win inside your mind and wait for the result if we are lucky enough for sure its gonna win. Nothing is needed but to wait and see just always remember to enjoy so win or lose you will find happiness with your game.
Our instinct are wrong most of the time especially in sports betting, when we see the line we grab it easily because we feel that our favorite team is going to win in the game.

Without knowing that bookmakers knows how a typical gambler reacts so they will set the line to be deceiving and make it easy for us to choose the bet but in the end we know our bets had lose.

I don't believe in my instinct too, sometimes I do trust it when I test it. Just like in dice games, when I think if the roll is going to be 51>

Then I will bet on it, but most of the time I fail with it so I just trust my own analyzing and don't lean on my instinct anymore.

Maybe I will just use this for YOLOing. But that is not the smart way though.
Me too i don't trust also my instinct because most of the time I fail with my instinct, sometimes I just won when I am not expecting it because once you expect more, the more you will hurt in the result. As they say, expect the unexpected.
Maybe a better idea is to fade yourself, I have been doing that in sports betting as when I see good lines I think I can win already but I lose. So I come up with a solution which is fading yourself, it's not fun but it's profitable.
790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 23, 2016, 06:02:30 AM
Yea yes i think that everybody here in this bitcoin talk forum chat thinks that it is used by illegall activities like hacking account from some person which is using bitcoin I mean bitcoin wallet like coinpayments, blockhain ,xapo  and other bitcoin account or they even go to hack exchanges and take bitcoin from other persons. There are also scammers which are creating hyip sites and they little time give payments and then they run with investitor money or they even not pay any payment so it is better than to use only ptc and revenue share sites and they are also scammers which are selling fake product which acctualy not help I mean you already know that.
Criminals are not frozen in time, they will use all the resources and technology available to them in order to do what they do best, illegal activities.

That's true and I found out that most of the criminals are even smarter than us. Because they know how to use such technology and abuse it for real. Just like now, bitcoin is being used for different illegal trades and way back no technology there are only illegal activities. So when there is upgrade in technology, criminals will upgrade too.
Definitely they should because that is there business to protect themselves and to be able to continue their business without getting caught. But still if they are smarter than us, government are still smarter than them so in the right time they will be caught and will be prosecuted.
791  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: November 23, 2016, 05:27:34 AM
I will ask money to someone whom I trust, who can I talk personally with. Because being desperate of having money not means you are going to borrow to some one whom you do not know. But professional person who is having a job can easily manage to get money in that situation as he holds a descent image in the minds of the people but what if a unemployed person found in the same situation, will people have same perception for him and will be willing to help him out?

He will have no way to pay back a loan because as you said he is unemployed. No one will give him a loan without a collateral. If he have assets, he can give that as collateral, otherwise, he have to find other way to get money.

But he said he would talk to someone whom he trusts and whom he can talk personally with, so if someone trusts you too and knows you personally then he might give you the money as a loan but then it is your duty to pay him back even if you are not employed because he trusted you that is why he had given you the money.
You can't trust a man's promise to pay if he has no capacity to pay, if lending someone without a job then probably you will have a problem in the future. People will really look for money when they need it but they do not consider the possibility because their main goal is only to make money.

for that if you need money and you have no other recourse than to borrow money, so you'd better have a good reason to borrow money, give your reasons so strong that people are willing to give you loan money dude
FYI, the reason is the main basis for you to be able to borrow money successfully, you need to have a job or income that will support your application. In addition your reputation must be good, lender will not trust your if you do not have a good reputation and you have no capacity to pay.

793  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: November 22, 2016, 01:07:03 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?

One of my bad experience is when I lost few bitcoin in exchange and haven't got back yet, but/and I took a good lesson.
These were my first bitcoins that I invested with my savings money for months/years and I got scammed by exchange hackers.
But I believe your first bad experience will not stop you from achieving your dreams with bitcoin ecosystem as there are a lot of similar opportunities available to get back your bitcoins. The getting rich with the bitcoin is highly possible when you keep on earning regardless of whatever bad experience you are facing.
Learn from your experience and you will succeed, do you think the rich people has no failure in life? Sometimes, that failure will make us strong and if wea are devoted enough to achieve our dreams we can have it with bitcoins as our investment.
experience is the most valuable thing. I've read some of the stories of successful people. they always fall up and fails when building a dream. so I found the words that made me motivated "the harsh efforts will never disappointing results"

That word is pretty inspiring, dreaming of becoming rich is everyone's dream because we want to have a comfortable life in the future or even a financial freedom but only few are making actions to achieve their dreams that's why only few number of people are successful.
794  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: November 22, 2016, 01:03:20 PM
I buy bitcoin to use it in trading because I can see that it is the suitable way for me to earn as much bitcoin as possible. I already have an experience in trading forex that's why trading bitcoin would not be a stranger to me. I can picture that somehow bitcoin would be one of the way to achieve my financial goals as long as I would be patient and continue to implement my risk and money management. I've been burned many times because I was careless and I learned my lesson that's why I am careful implementing my plans nowadays.

Bitcoin is best for trading wise, but also bitcoin has more benefits like only hold it and do investment with it, most benefits are here in amount transfer and using the bitcoin in online shopping etc.
But for me, I buy bitcoin only when i feel bitcoin price down, otherwise i prefer to earn it, also when any event is coming like Halving than i do buy the bitcoins.
You are definitely doing well with bitcoin as your method is the most successful one, you buy low and you sell high is pretty basis but trading is just all about timing and if you do the right timing, it's money for you.
795  Economy / Economics / Re: How many coins did you have during the rise? on: November 22, 2016, 12:53:49 PM
During the 2013/2014 rise to nearly $1,400/coin, how many bitcoins did you have?

And do you regret not selling if you didn't?
Sorry but i do not have bitcoin in that time  And busy finding ways how to have money in real life. I wish I find bitcoin early so ican save some of it.
You cannot make decision now base on the past because I am pretty sure if that happens in the past it would be a different decision you will be making. Maybe we have to move on and just focus on the present.
796  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: November 22, 2016, 12:44:17 PM

For the bitcoin, you can just invest a certain amount of money every months. The price will rise in the long term.

That's sounds doable for an average investor, the good thing with bitcoin is that we do not need to raise a big amount of money because we can be eligible for investment, a little amount is already enough and we can do that on a installment basis which I believe would be easier for everyone.
bitcoin is rarely rising in long term but as far as i know bitcoin price are more often rising in just short term. the latest price rising also just happen in few days or weeks. these sign mean that bitcoin is definitely not for long term investment. even investing some money every months will be helping you to have some profit out of it
A few months ago when the first time I knew about bitcoin, the price was $400 but the price is $700 now. If bitcoin price reach $10.000 people will leave fiat,  people are get saturated with fiat now. So bitcoin is have a big chance to replace it. But if bitcoin can not,  I think people will still leave fiat/paper money becouse its obviously worthless unlike gold. My opinion is people will back  to use gold or make revolution to use bitcoin.
Fiat has been proven to be stable for a longer period of time since we are still using it, maybe I will believe  that some investors will transfer their money in bitcoin but not to do away with fiat, they still need fiat as more than 99% in the world population are using FIAT.
797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: November 22, 2016, 12:36:32 PM
The longer you are gambling the more chances you lose everything that's right, but not always. If a person can do gambling safe way, in other words for fun only and thinking they can make money with it, then they can gamble as long as they want and they won't be regretting doing so, ever.
True but even if you have more chance to lose but you can afford what you lose you will have a continuing entertainment in gambling and that's matters most of every gambler as they were able to get the value of their money.

That's true mate.. every time we apply for a loan, company loans will sometimes do background checking to see if you are capable of paying back your loan in a monthly term. So if you really doesn't have enough assets or provide good collateral well definitely you will not be able to approve for a loan.
Therefore we need to take care of our reputation, they do background checking of our life to ensure that we have the capacity to pay which cannot be done here online and hence it's really risky to give a loan here.
799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: November 22, 2016, 12:25:26 PM
Since gambling is just for fun for me, become rich wont stop me to do it. One thing that maybe I will try to keep is to always play with small amounts of money and I will reduce the duration of my gambling thing. With huge amounts of money I can find another fun things beside gambling and thats what I will try to chase if I was rich!
We will not be addicted though we gamble because we are not of making money, gambling is just an entertainment for us and nothing else. If for every rich gambler, they only treat gambling for fun and they have big resistance to addiction they will surely enjoy it.
800  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: November 22, 2016, 12:18:34 PM
There are many people who lost their money on trading, because trading is unpredictable job, in my opinion i need:
Method ( i must have system trading)
Money ( i must have management of money and risk)
Mind ( i must can control my emotion)
Tell me your opinions?

Well, I am not sure about method but for Money, bankroll management is really important, lets say you wanted to trade safe, maybe 2-3% profit/loss per trade would be good, and only use maybe 5-10% of your bankroll when you trade.

Next for your mind, remember, one thing which i fail to do for almost years. Once a coin drop, sell it to prevent losing more, i hold a coin, from 1.2k satoshi, until the current price is now 6 satoshi. 1200 / 6 = 200, i lost my initial investment of $1,000 and became $5.
What can I say? I guess it depends on the coins you are putting your investment, if you failed to check the coins you are buying and later you know that it's just as shit coins then you will really lose. But if even it's alt but like ETH or XMR, the value is still good to rise in the long run.
