781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 26, 2023, 02:06:15 PM
A couple of great games on today. First you have the 76ers against the Bucks. I think Damian Lillard and Giannis will be too much for the Soxers to deal with…
Looking forward to Lillard's debut with the Bucks..... I'm hoping he'll step up and perform better than what we saw during the preseason. With Giannis having recently signed a contract extension, it's safe to assume he'll be giving it his all and aiming for a convincing win in this game. It's a bit of a setback for the 76ers not having Harden in the lineup.

Then you have the Lakers and Suns. I’m expecting the Suns to go 2-0 while the Lakers fall to 0-2. This will be a good test for the Suns though, as their new big man gets to go toe to toe with Anthony Davis.

I've got some doubts about this one. In their first game, they were missing Beal, and now it looks like Booker might not play as he's been reported as "doubtful" due to "left foot soreness."

Full report.

782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk - December or January in Saudi Arabia on: October 25, 2023, 12:59:55 PM

And yes, I don't see Francis putting up a massive upset on Tyson here. It's good that we see promotions in this fight. But it will take Francis to be lucky to hit Tyson and knock him out for good. That is the only way he can win this fight, with a knockout. But Tyson Fury is also a defensive boxer so I doubt that Francis can land his signature power punch just like he did in UFC.
I don't rule out an upset, upset can happen to any boxer even the greatest boxers suffered an upset, I'm comfortable that Fury will win because he has a huge advantage in terms of power and ring generalship but if he relaxes and takes Ngannou for granted he can be hit by a phantom punch or a lucky punch.
Only 5 days to go and the excitement is going I'm sure the weigh-in and the fight will be a big hit.

Still Fury for me. There's a lot of hype around Francis now, but we know who the real deal is. This is boxing, and Fury is the king here. If Fury gets challenged in this fight, it could serve as a good tune-up match for him before the unification fight against Oleksandr Usyk.

It would also be advantageous for Usyk if the fight happens next year, giving him time to heal from any injuries, so that if he were to lose, he wouldn't have any excuses to fall back on.
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just like visiting a cinema on: October 25, 2023, 12:20:01 PM
Gambling is way different from going to the cinema because in gambling, there's a chance to win, unlike when you go to the movies, where you already know what to expect: entertainment.

In gambling, there's a sense of entertainment, but let's be honest with ourselves—do we still feel entertained even when we lose? We enjoy gambling because we're seeking the thrill, and we don't need to deceive ourselves by saying we're only in it for entertainment. In reality, we're chasing that win.

I believe what we should practice is convincing ourselves that what we lose is an amount we can afford to lose, so it won't be too hard for us to move on.
784  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First bull run - how to not sell too early? on: October 23, 2023, 03:31:52 PM
The only way to avoid temptation and not to sell very early, then forget about your bitcoin investment. Do not monitor the price too often and hold your coins by not setting any target when to sell. That way, you won’t be bothered by any market crash or when the price has surge high in an instant.

However, keep updated with the market and never stop from doing continuous research. When you see that the market is bullish, and bitcoin price has reached another all time high after the bull run, then you can decide to sell your bitcoin in order to gain maximum profits. It’s up to you if you’ll sell them all or only a portion of them. Just stick to your goal why you invest in the first place so you won’t be making regrets in the end.
785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much do you Value your Privacy in Gambling? on: October 23, 2023, 01:59:20 PM
Given the situation by @OP,  I will definitely undergo KYC on that platform in order to withdraw the amount.  It is a life changing amount in my country where I can buy my own house, a car and some amount to start-up a business.  What is privacy when I am starving to death.  At least I can exchange my privacy to a life changing amount.  Besides, I am in hope that the platform will take care of my data and won't sell it in the market.  Besides, this is not my first time to undergo full KYC in a platform.  Grin

There's no wrong with submitting our KYC details as long as we know that the casino is legit and is reputable. Even if it's a new casino, that does not mean that it's not reputable and can't be trusted anymore. Remember that big and successful casinos these days have all started from a scratch. So if you trust that casino, then submit KYC and give all the documents that they need so you can withdraw your big win. What is privacy actually in exchange for a life changing winning amount. I'm sure a lot here would do the same.

This is the reason why conducting research before playing on a casino is a must. If you don't want to get scam, then do prior preparations before gambling. But sometimes those we expect that are reputable and legit casinos still fall as scams. In that case, we don't hold the control anymore.
786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Educate yourself to be a frugal gambler on: October 23, 2023, 11:26:34 AM
Play for fun. If you are not playing for fun, you are doing it wrong. Gambling should be done to entertain yourself only, and always remember that gambling is not a sound financial investment. I have witnessed the horrors of people who blow their kids college funds and life savings on gambling at a Casino. Don't be one of these people. Have a daily or weekly gambling budget and learn which games you like and how to play them so that you can actually have much more fun playing them than just winging any game.
I will tell you that once you fall into addiction, the only thing that makes you happy is when you win. If you can see that some gambler compromises their finances and budgets, it means these gamblers are not just playing for fun but already chasing their losses. I'm not sure what you mean by frugal in gambling because if you mean the real meaning of that, you'd better not gamble any amount but instead, make use of it to invest. As I gamble using my extra money, I have no problem with it even if I lose.
I don't think gamblers are still capable of being frugal because gambling in the first place means spending your money and expect to lose them all. That alone is a sign of money wasted, unlike investing wherein you get to spend and possibly expect good returns. And the fact that majority of us don't gamble just for fun but to make money as well, then it's hard to stay frugal when all you do is to spend more money not just to chase your previous losses but to make a big win at some point.

However, I have to agree with Kelvinid, that in order to be frugal, don't dare to enter gambling but invest at your own risk. Gambling is to lose, and the more you decide to gamble, you are losing more money in the process without any guarantees if you'd still be able to recover your lost money or hit a big win after a losing streak.
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigeria socialite went all in on this sport bet on: October 23, 2023, 07:35:08 AM

I think I get your point. It may be normal for gamblers to be proud of their success and achievements but we should atill be mindful of what we share in social media especially if you are somene that people look up to, like celebrities. It still important for celebrities to be mindful of how their words and actions impact others when it comes to sensitive topics like money and gambling. Their influence can encourage fans to engage in risky behavior. It would help a little if he posted a disclaimer.

I don't really see a problem with it. Gambling isn't some kind of sin or a surefire way to destroy lives. In fact, the gambling industry has created jobs for many people. It's just that some folks love the thrill of being entertained, and they use gambling as a form of entertainment. Who cares if they lose? They're paying for that satisfaction.

The only issue arises when someone, lacking knowledge about gambling, gets overly optimistic about winning. Even though they can't afford to gamble, they insist on it because they're tempted by the promise of a big reward. That's just plain foolishness, and that's the real reason people lose money, not the gambling industry itself.
788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thurman Vs Stanionis WBA world welterweight December 9 on: October 23, 2023, 07:12:25 AM
        -  Thurman, in my opinion, has more expertise than his rival. And because of the struggles he had, he will have an advantage over his rival. I can observe that despite being younger and appearing aggressive in the battle, he also moves quickly or is agile.

As far as experience goes? Yes, we can say that Thurman has the advantage, he even is on the top of the division until he got injured and then Spence ascend to the throne when he was absent. He did try to make a comeback, I remember him fighting a very tough comeback fight against a durable Josesito Lopez. He won that fight but it was not the same Thurman though. And then he lost against the great Manny Pacman Pacquiao. And after that he makes another comeback fight against Barrios who recently beat Ugas.
Thurman's injury didn't impact Spence's championship run because they're not in different organizations; they're in the same division. Thurman genuinely lost his belt to Pacman, and that was a legit defeat. Spence then took down Ugas, who had beaten Pacman, to unify the title.

Long story short, Thurman hasn't faced off against Spence and Crawford yet. That's why it's still intriguing to see if they'll cross paths. For that to happen, Thurman needs to make sure he wins this bout to keep climbing the rankings.....

They might compete in combat prowess and endurance. And based on their current standing, they are practically a match for one another; each player's plan is how they will prevail in this contest. I predict Thurman will triumph there, but don't discount his rival.

I think Stanionis is a good boxer as well, so don't sleep on him. He might be unknown for some of us. But I think he will do good here against Thurman as I think Keith could be on the way out of his boxing career. He might be doing good as as boxing analyst/broadcaster and maybe he is just scratching his itch just to fight again.

I think we should study deeper on who really is Stannionis.

According to https://www.dazn.com/en-US/news/boxing/who-is-eimantas-stanionis-background-record-championships-biggest-wins-of-vergil-ortiz-jrs-next-opponent/c3bwr6ijhrk911hstrvg8uwb8... he is currently a champion, while Thurman is only ranked number 3 in WBA Weltherweight divison.

Quote
Championships
Eimantas Stanionis fought for the WBA regular welterweight strap against Radzhab Butaev in April 2022.

He defeated the incumbent with a split decision after the fight went the distance.

Biggest wins
His biggest win is probably said bout against Butaev last year, as it brought his first and only world title.
789  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You are also like them? on: October 22, 2023, 09:58:47 PM
Watching these YouTuber 'technical analysts' is like witnessing a comedy show. They just scribble lines on a Bitcoin chart and act like they're gazing into a crystal ball. But the reality is, they're about as accurate as a broken clock – right only twice a day. It's laughable how they sell this snake oil, predicting the future with squiggly lines. I wouldn't bet a Satoshi on their so-called insights!
It will always look like a comedy show if we see it from the real technical analyst point of view. Since we all know that bitcoin moves unpredictably then no one could take an edge on it and just predict the bitcoin movement as if he knows where is bitcoin actually heading. And YouTubers are actually doing this because they want to create an impact to their viewers that they are really knowledgeable and very confident on their predictions when in reality, they really don't know what will bitcoin look like in the future and it seems that they underestimate the real potentials of bitcoin.

However, this is not really surprising for all YouTubers as they are not here to educate the people about bitcoin but to make an income out from bitcoin predictions and promote projects that are actually not reliable. Since they sugarcoat those projects and now they become projects will high potentials to succeed in the market, then here comes these less knowledgeable investors who are only here to find quick profits out from those too good to be true projects.
790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give Bitcoin investment time on: October 22, 2023, 09:39:17 PM
When people start up a company, they give it some years before they expect profits. Most times they even re-invest their profits to expand and build their company to the standard they desire and this requires time. Furthermore, when people buy stocks of a company or make investment in businesses, they give it time which run into years before they expect profits.

Unfortunately, when people buy Bitcoin, they expect huge profits within a short period of time. This is the source of panic and fud that is exhibited by many Bitcoin investors.

While educating people about Bitcoin, I think it is wise we tell them Bitcoin need time to yield profit, let us change our approach in sharing Bitcoin knowledge so that people will not come into Bitcoin with the mindset of get-rich-quick.
This is a realization that most of the people who want to invest in bitcoin do not actually understand bitcoin well and their decision to invest in bitcoin is not because they are highly knowledgeable about it but they invest because they believe that bitcoin will offer quick profits just by short term investing. In reality, it is very wrong because in all kinds of investments, profits are gained after years of business operation and bitcoin is never an exception. And its clear that those who risk in business do not enjoy profits very early but most of the time, they incur losses at first before they will come to enjoy the fruits of their business, that is their most awaited profits.

Education can be vital for all bitcoin investors. That they should understand all the basics about bitcoin first before they take part in risking their money to invest in bitcoin. And just like other type of businesses, bitcoin investment needs more time to progress before people will enjoy harvesting their profits.
791  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You data is not safe on centralized exchanges on: October 22, 2023, 09:00:11 PM
This is the major problem of using a centralized exchange, because it opens room for scammers to disguise as the exchange to ask customers some personal information that they can use to have access to your funds.

I could remember that this trick is not new here in my country because this is how scammers will send you a text message or call you, that they are from your bank and that you should send them your last four digit number of your ATM card for them to verify your bank account to avoid blockage of ATM card. So many people fell for this trick, especially the ones that were not educated , and they got all the funds in their account wiped out.

This is the same method that these scammers has come with by deceiving people to verify their Binance account through the form so that they can have details which they can use to access your their Binance account.

It is better to stay away from CEX and if you can't, don't believe in whatever message or link that you get from anyone when it comes to your finance.
Centralized exchanges are somehow the playground of scammers. While safety and security is their utmost concern when it comes to centralized exchanges, but in reality scammers could always take advantage using centralized exchanges by sending you random messages so they will get an access to your account. By pretending that they were the legal team from a centralized exchange, some users opted to believe them without a doubt and give the details of their account without hesitation believing that it's part of using centralized exchanges and that they are supposed to provide the correct details for  the security of their account. While there are already few who can detect that is a scam, but still a lot of people still fall to this kind of trap not because they are not just educated but because they are just too trusting that once centralized exchange is involved, everything in it is valid and legit.
792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: October 22, 2023, 10:35:50 AM
A perfect timing for Berto as TNT is in need of a star quality player who can add that same type of skills, without Mikee and Poguy it will be a tough conference for the team, but if in case coach Jojo will hired him I know and I'm pretty sure he will be used as one of the key player of the team, not unless SMC will try to bring him I think Purefoods still need someone who can give Paul lee a good offensive partner..
That could be the case, with SMB and Pangilinan's team seemingly dominating the PBA like they own it. Now, teams are in hot pursuit of Berto, and it's no surprise. He's a fantastic player, perhaps even better than CJ Perez. But he's had his share of injury issues, which isn't great. However, if he lands with a strong team, he might avoid getting injured as much since he won't have to carry the whole load. In TNT's case, they've got a deep roster with lots of players ready to step up. They move the ball well, and with an import, the locals won't have to do all the heavy lifting; it's mostly the import who'll carry the team.

Hahaha, kidding aside, we don't know what might be the future for Berto as before I heard that he wanted to move to SMB but because of his contract from his previous team he can't just sign and jump ahead to SMB,.

Before he played overseas, rumors were flying around that he might get signed by SMB. I believe Northport could be considered a farm team, and many players from there have made their way to SMB. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can think of a few examples like Cabagnot, Romeo, and Pringle.
793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 22, 2023, 10:07:50 AM
A few days of rest before the official start of the NBA regular season. So it seems like almost all of the teams are ready except for those rebuilding teams and the unstable Philadelphia 76ers who still have Harden but made a personal excuse to leave its training camp.

The start of the season always excites me as teams will try their best to start strong. It enables them to observe if they need some trades before the deadline and necessary adjustments.

As we've seen, Victor Wembanyama is NBA-ready and so is Chet Holmgren although the latter seems to have better teammates so the stats might favor the former. But it will be very interesting to see these 2 giant prospects.

Finally, Chet Holmgren gets a chance to shine since he's back to full health. His rookie season was a bummer due to injuries, but now he's ready to roll. With Wemby also have his debut, they're both bigs, so it'll be interesting to see if Chet can create his own name. They faced off in the preseason, and we got a taste of who's got the edge, but let's wait for the regular season. Chet might surprise us and outdo Wemby in the stats department.

I'm super excited about the new season. We missed the NBA after a boring NBA Finals, so here's hoping for a much better one this time – a series that goes all the way to Game 7, not a quick 4-1 or 4-0 sweep.
794  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you were to unlearn something about BTC…. on: October 21, 2023, 09:59:11 PM
Have you ever felt having a good knowledge about a certain subject matter on Bitcoin only to start a conversion or thread on the topic and end up discovering the information had lots of mistakes and misconception. How did you really feel about those subject matters and what was your approach towards the observation and correction made by other users on your thread.

While the concept of Bitcoin in general is broad and wide having a good knowledge of certain topic will require constant research and studying some of the concepts will even require experience and user interactivity. Example is the technical aspect of Bitcoin. I will like to discuss this how long do you spend doing research for a particular topic before making your post or do you have a glimpse of the subject matter get a good summary of it and then start a conversation or quality research is done followed by reviews before engaging in  a conversation?
There's no time limit when it comes to learning bitcoin. Research does not only happen for several hours but you have to research and continue learning everyday not only from your own perspective but also with how the other people have perceived it.  So learning bitcoin is limitless, because you get to learn on your own studies as well as with other people perception about bitcoin. And the moment I understood the topic well, that's when I decide to make a thread not just to ask the other forum members opinions and ideas but to share my own idea as well which I think a lot of people will learn from it.

And if ever my own assumptions are not true and correct based from what others have perceived it, then I'm always open for corrections and better ideas. This forum is not limited for only single idea but there should be vast ideas coming from different members and as long as they are valid, I think that will be a lot better knowing this forum do not tolerate wrong and inaccurate ideas but only facts and legit ideas.
795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin for everyone? on: October 21, 2023, 09:28:19 PM
I am asking this because not everyone has made tangible profit for holding. Just like myself I end up selling at a loss most times just to solve a problem. Some might be lucky to buy at a low rate and within few weeks or months the price just pumps to their favour. This kept me wondering if Bitcoin is actually for every one or it is a scheme for selected individuals..
This question has been raised a lot of times but still a lot of us here are still confused on whether bitcoin is only for few individuals or everyone is free to engage in it. As for me, bitcoin is open for everyone. We can all invest and trade if we want as long as we are financially capable to accumulate bitcoin. However, my question is will it work for everyone? Will everyone be successful with bitcoin? The answer is NO.

Bitcoin is obviously not for faint-hearted and less knowledgeable and inexperienced individuals. Even if you have the money, that will not guarantee success with bitcoin. But if you have the right attitude, skills and adequate knowledge needed to make bitcoin work, of course the possibility to succeed with bitcoin is at its peak.
796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Stevenson vs De Los Santos - Nov 16 on: October 21, 2023, 05:50:54 AM
And as per Shakur, he said that maybe Delos Santos is a harder boxer to fight as compare to Frank Martin. Maybe he is just saying this to hype the fight and try to just annoyed Martin as he was supposedly the original fighter that Stevenson was to fight, agreed in verbally and then in the last minute doesn't want to and duck Shakur.

So we will see, we still have a month to go before this fight happens. For now Shakur is the outstanding favourite. But we can only hope that Delos Santos is a tough fighter that will give Stevenson a good test.

That's what he should be saying if he wants to hype up this fight, you know? He knows he's not up against a big-name opponent, so convincing fans to tune in can be tough. But if he starts making some noise and claims his opponent is worthy, that could get people interested. Shakur is the clear favorite according to the bookies; it seems like a one-sided match, and they predict an easy win for him. So, for the regular fans, they might think this fight won't be as exciting as advertised. That's where promotions come in – more trash talk and hype might be just what this fight needs to succeed, I guess.
No big-name opponent because he can't get one, everyone is ducking him and so only De los Santos was willing maybe because he is not a American fighter. And this is why he is dangerous and Stevenson knows it.
Let's wait and see because, to be honest, I haven't seen Shakur struggle in any of his fights. All of his wins seem to come from relatively easy matchups. Considering the quality of De Los Santos, which seems like a step down from Martin, it would indeed be an upset if he manages to beat Shakur.

I might be seeing another Crawford vs Spence fight. Shakur likes to play like Crawford, while for me De los Santos fights like Spence. So it's a copy fight and we all know how it ended. De los Santos is a good boxer with power, but Shakur will figure it out how to beat him, and uses his boxing IQ. So maybe it's going to be +7.5 rounds, with Shakur winning by KO/TKO. But still though, this is a great fight and we will see Shakurs skills and technique.

This is a different kind of fight – a champion versus a non-champion. That bout between Spence and Crawford was an undisputed fight, while in this case, Shakur isn't facing a world champion. So, I'm not setting my expectations too high for this one. It seems like it could be more of a tune-up fight for Shakur.
797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thurman Vs Stanionis WBA world welterweight December 9 on: October 21, 2023, 04:13:13 AM
I've seen Thurman fight and even though he has a cocky attitude, his fighting style in my opinion is something to look out for, he won't be fighting Pacquiao if he wasn't worthy. Plus the wealth of experience that he's got compared to Stanionis is a big help.
Thurman was a champion, and that pretty much explains why he's considered a better fighter. He lost his belt to Pacman, which is fair enough since Pacman is a legend, but it was a well-fought battle. It could have gone either way since the fight ended in a split decision, if I recall correctly.

This fight feels more like his comeback, and I thought so, but it's not against a champion, so it's not as interesting. However, the fact that he has a fight now makes me believe he could still make a comeback to that championship fight one day.

I'd put my money on Thurman on this fight although I would probably consider arbitrage betting.
Of course, that's the smart choice. But why arbitrage?
798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: October 21, 2023, 02:29:28 AM
Money wise TNT can offer him the best packages, unless SMC will be greedy and will try  to acquire him..

Either TNT by MVP or SMB by SMC is greedy lol.

Anyway, no choice for Bolick if I were him though lol if returning to PBA is a choice, choosing between giant teams should be the priority not just money but the chance of a championship is possible. In All-Filipino conference, SMC and MVP teams are the only teams that can compete for a championship.
I'd be thrilled to see him play for TNT. Let's consider the possibility that Williams might not be able to make a comeback, either because he's lost interest or TNT has had enough of his antics. In that case, there's a chance they might have a spot for a star player with a fantastic fee.

I also believe that Bollick wouldn't make the decision to leave a team that pays better than the PBA without a backup plan. So, since he's already in the Philippines, it's quite likely he'll return to the PBA.

Gone are the days when the All-Filipino competition involved other teams outside SMC and MVP, such as Red Bull, Alaska, and Sta. Lucia Realty.

I doubt we'll see that happen again, given that the PBA is currently dominated by the owners of SMB and TNT. There were rumors before about adding more teams, and I believe that would make the PBA more exciting to watch. But until that actually happens, we're stuck with what we've got for now.
799  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Junket Operator on: October 20, 2023, 09:53:12 AM
Let's be frank here, not like it's not possible for some casinos to offer as high as 5 percent interest rate on investment to their supposed investors, but the truth of the matter is, such investments as this usually end up becoming a Ponzi scheme in the short of long term, depending on how long the casino is able to hold the system and keep it running.

We can confirm this from the staking system on some crypto exchanges today, some exchanges offer their users the ability to stake their coins on their system, and in return, they pay their customers up to 10, 20, 30, 40, and even 50 percent return on investment, this is absolutely insane and totally unbelieve, but i know this because i personally on one occasion have participated on one such stake program, they offered 50 percent return on investment, I went ahead to stake $440 worth of the altcoin they offered this staking on, eventually, till today, i am not able to withdraw my tokens , not even the profit, i learnt the hard way indeed.
Actually, casinos these days don't provide such things, they don't accept investments from individuals, it was old times when casinos used to accept investments in their bankroll and used to pay a small percentage of commission to the investors every month based on the percentage of their investment within the pool, but nowadays, casinos have made things very clear, you either gamble with them, or use their affiliate programs to earn commission.

That's why, if a casino platform offers something like that, it's most probably to lure in more gamblers and maybe scam them out of their money because it's definitely not possible for casinos to offer 5% return every month for investments because it's not a bad deal at all and everyone will opt in for such an offer.

You're absolutely right. In the past, there were casinos that accepted investments, but they were mostly dice casinos. It was easy to invest – you could deposit and withdraw your funds at any time. One that comes to mind is SafeDice, but it seems that this site has also ceased operating. It's possible that such platforms faced issues and scam gamblers, resulting in the unavailability of funds for withdrawal.

Today, casinos tend to have private investors because they require a substantial capital that needs to be committed for an extended period. It's a far cry from the past when anyone could invest and divest at any time, which might not have been helpful for the casinos.

However, this topic is slightly different since we're discussing casino junket operators, as explained already in the post above.

The Lakers and the Suns facing off was a cool game to watch. Both teams seemed to lack something. The Suns in particular seemed to have guys out there on the floor that shouldn’t be playing in an NBA game. I thought Nurkic looked good but some of the Suns smaller defenders looked lost out there when facing up against bigger players like LeBron.

I believe trading Ayton was a bad decision. Although they won this game, Nurkic didn't have a strong production, especially on the offensive end. He went 1-11 and finished with just 3 points after playing for 19 minutes. It seems like these Trail Blazers players have been struggling since the trades. A similar situation happened to Lillard when he joined the Bucks; he also had his share of struggles.
