What do you think of this Spurs' line up?

If we look at how well they played in the NBA Pre-season they performed excellently both offensively and defensively. Especially Wembenyama, who scored an impressive 19.3 points per game in only 20 minutes average per game. They lost by only 1 point to OKC, which also has a young lineup. I doubt they'll make the playoffs this year because their lineup hasn't changed from last season. I think they'll only win 20-30 games this season.

But I still believe Wembenyama has a better chance of winning the Rookie of the Year award than Chet Holmgren.

The video going around showing Raymond Felton getting cooked on defense is crazy. That guy has got to be at least 60 pounds overweight. Whoever extended his contract to where it is now should be fired. He’s got to be one of the most out of shape men to ever put on an NBA jersey. Granted there’s no way he ever sees a minute on the floor. Just wild to see.

He's a UFA and no team is going to sign him with that age and out of playing shape body. I'm pretty sure knows that too so I'm curious why he hasn't officially retired yet.

That guy has already retired, if I am not wrong. He retired in 2019. So I don't think there are much benefit about talking about what he did wrong. But we all know that the Internet is a weird place. People are going to talk about things anyway. And people just found something to talk about which looks hilarious to some people. But I definitely think that the player is not playing professionally anymore. So they should leave him alone.

That looks like a scary team to be honest and they will most likely be coach Pop's regulars this upcoming season. They could even finish top of the Southwest division. I wonder how they would fare if they have a crafty veteran like Manu to lead them or a PG with CP3's caliber.

This starting lineup looks promising, but I wouldn't call them a scary team at the moment. As Natalim said above, they are still too young, and if they can reach the playoffs or at least a play-in tournament, it will be an accomplishment for them. However, I'm more than sure that Coach Pop can nurture them well as players, and who knows, maybe the Spurs will start a new dynasty with Wembanyama at the helm.

This young team has really good potential to achieve great things. The only thing is, I think they will have to avoid injuries. That is the only thing that will hold them behind. Otherwise this team is definitely going to achieve a lot. And obviously they will also have speed in their favour. Remember, they are young. So they are going to be a lot more adventurous. There are positives and negatives of that. They might pull off some incredible plays. But at the same time that play style is going to be more injury prone.

We can't conclude what might be for us in the future, both the fate of Spurs and Chet that will be concluded after they perform in the

Unless Chet suffered for another injury or Wemby and the rest of those rookies will perform better than him.

I still can't believe that we are already at the start of the 2023-24 NBA season.  When the notification popped up on my TV showing that the Bucks were facing off against my Bulls, I was just shocked at how quickly the offseason went.

I can't wait to see how well Wembanyama does in the NBA.  He's super skinny so I hope to see him gain some weight.  He can still be great and all (look at Kevin Durant), but some weight would certainly help his game when he's crashing the boards with big men down low.

It's not that easy process though, just like what happened to Ben Simmons. It will take a lot for the Sixers or to the team that will get Harden. So far his preference team of Clippers doesn't want to sacrifice their players just to get Harden.

So they are not in a hurry, and I think it Harden is going to be traded, he might not land on Clippers itself.

Or they need to involved another team in the process to get it done.

I do agree that it is not going to be easy to trade Harden because they are not going to be like his previous teams where he pushed his teams to trade him, I think it should be something a lot more important and considering Sixers got him to go for that title, it would be silly for them to trade him for anyone that would be not so helpful for a title run, and I think picks would be even worse because you would have to wait around again.

The trust the process era was promised to happen for a title, and now that they already built a team, if they go back to rebuilding then all that period happened for no good reason and the fans will be pissed without a doubt. I think it would be smarter to just keep him and try to mend the relationship.

Yeah agreed Durant really isn't a crash the boards kind of guy which helped him out through his career.  With big guys down low its knees, feet and backs they need to worry about.  The one thing he has going for him is the change in style of play and the rules that protect people in the paint.  I'm very interested to see how his first month goes.  If I had to guess I'd say he shoots under 40% and averages 12-13 points.  They aren't going to let him hang in the middle and he will probably start the year by taking a lot of outside shots.

What a game in San Francisco! Sacramento Kings played really well and they even had the big advantage of up to 18 if I am not mistaken. And then 4th quarter came and the Warriors played defense. Steph says this is all just their preparation for what may happen in the regular season and they want to build chemistry too so they are trying to play it better.
Golden State Warriors have not lost any game in the preseason yet while the Kings have not won any so they badly want that W and Steph got in their way.

Anyway, there's no way they will shoot a deuce and take it to overtime, a waste of energy. Very good entertainment for a no-bearing game, loved it.

Game the Sacramento Kings even though this is only the Preseason watching the Golden State Warriors is like watching the Finals for sure they are making Dario Saric a steal and the tandem of Dario Saric and Chris Paul is surely a treat, and Stephen Curry with his game for sure he is still in his prime for sure as this game you can clearly see it, and their new player Trayce Jackson-Davis is picking up the play of the Warriors, and Jonathan Kuminga is proven that he can surely do this for sure, and for sure this is just the preseason watching the game it was like the regular season for sure,

There goes the saying of what goes around surely comes around, we've seen it play out multiple times with certain players Ben Simmons and James Harden being the most recent ones, they can't go through any patch with any franchise these days, I really can't say If it's about their alleged lack of loyalty to the franchise or it's always about the guys at the helm of affairs over there, Irving and Kevin Durant left the Brooklyn Nets without the relationship getting this extreme and toxic for the entire roster and putting their team mates on a tough spot when they are asked about the situation.

My only problem is that other franchise often get into these players trap with the hope of getting an apparent fix to their own roster, with probably little awareness that if that's who a players, it's just a matter of time before the jump ship yet again too, Harden would definitely still a burden to whichever franchise he chooses next the very instance things aren't going his way.

At the end of the infamous "James Harden - Ben Simmons" trade wasn't a win for either side, it ended up being a lose-lose situation for the 76ers and Brooklyn Nets, however, at least Ben Simmons is still with the Nets.

These two teams have a real rivalry, especially after that first-round playoff face-off in the West that went all the way to Game 7. If I remember correctly, the Warriors broke the Kings' hearts in that one.

I totally agree that CP3 teaming up with Curry is a game-changer. With CP3 in the mix, Curry won't have to carry the ball all the time, which means he can conserve his energy. I've got a strong feeling we're in for a better Curry this season, and I wouldn't be surprised if he snags another MVP award.

As for the Warriors, I think they're still somewhat underrated. They're not in the top 3 for winning the NBA championship this season, but that's bound to change. CP3 is a legitimate superstar, and he knows he's in a team where he's got the best chance of winning his first-ever championship. Exciting times ahead!

Basis? That 41 points that he got in the pre-season? Do you think that it's enough for him to be an all-star already?

I mean I'm not against you, but if that's your basis alone then remember how he performed against the Lakers last playoffs. When they needed him, he failed to deliver. Will he be the main scorer of the team? Yes he will, but will he be an all-star? No. I don't see any reason to him to be an all-star. After all, we still yet to see how he performs in Wizards uniform. We don't even know if him and Kuzma will be a good duo since we know that both of them will be the main scorers of the team... oh wait let's add Deni Avdija in the conversation since he's kind of frustrated as seen in one of the viral videos online.

Why are you looking for Basis? I can't provide you any of that because it was just one game, a preseason game at that. Maybe I got a bit too excited about his performance, but I genuinely have a feeling that he'll make it to the All-Star team. He's in a team where he's the Alpha player, and we all know that Poole can drop 30 points anytime. With more freedom, he could easily become a candidate for the scoring champ competition this season.

We also know that he struggled with the Warriors due to conflict, and let us not forget his contribution on the Warriors championship run before last season's failure.

It was indeed a bad decision made by suns knowing that the guy has a lot of potential if they can just able to handle him very well. But they can't get their current new addition if they didn't trade so I guess Suns is just gambling their faith hoping that they can get more better roster this season. Also they are quite impressive earlier when they face Lakers since they beat them badly and that is a good sign that they might have a good run since their new added players can play very well.

We cannot also see their real play since for sure they are just saving up their energies and careful that they will not get injured on pre season so we can expect those guys to perform well when win and lose is counted for their team stats.
