Even 99 million transactions is really pushing the limits under the old rules. You'd literally have to stake in 9 days to the hour for it not to go over 1 billion and with the current stake congestion you'd be very lucky to stake them.

Incorrect.

All my 99,999,999 CENT blocks staked the only issue was an error that popped up about the log not matching the transaction list in the wallet.dat or something... -salvagewallet fixed it completely.

7 of those inputs spit out 14 inputs of 495,XXX,XXX odd amounts.
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CENT] Pennies launched on: January 03, 2014, 03:33:45 PM
Under the 8th Jan rules, 1 trillion will create approximately 900m of new coins after the typical 9 days.

Code:
Original amount * days since creation * 0.0001 = New coins

I recieved nothing. Sent to wallet 1bil to test this (23.12.2013 06:xx) and still nothing mined. Only ~20 cents.
Wallet opened from that moment (but no need in that), command "mintpennies true" entered 5 times. Nothing after more than 11 days.

Seeing as that does not take affect unti AFTER the start of Jan. 8th... you are still under the bugged calc of the SUPER stake... which... WILL NEVER stake for a block of 1 billion coins because the max transaction allowed IS 1 billion coins.

If you read this thread you would know the largest blocks that can be staked are 99M coins... after the 8th... THEN you might get a stake for the formula amount you posyed.

Dreamwatcher,

You definitely have an issue with the KED wallet.

As soon as I start to solo mine, with the same exact config as all my other scrypt coins, the wallet errors. When closed... the error returns upon every lainch until I reboot the PC... and if I try to solo again... repeat.

What gives?

Yes please update the OP... I am not even shown...
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CENT] Pennies launched on: January 02, 2014, 07:24:59 PM
The reason people are buying up trillions... is because staking in the update on a trillion coins is still MILLIONS or BILLIONS of cent every stake.

I think it is supposed to be something like .2% now as of the 8th? Correct me please.

Anyways... .2% of 1 Trillion is still 2 Billion CENT.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] RazorLove Cryptocurrency Services - DBL, CENT, & FOO/BAR Updates on: January 02, 2014, 07:18:32 PM
you probably need to update to the latest wallet
I updated it few days ago...and all was just fine with it...now he starts lag and not response Angry

Have you staked LARGE amounts... have you recently earned stake on a block larger than 99M+?

I did and had issues and errors etc... easy fix... yuppers...

Close CENT... hold SHIFT and right click (MUST NOT HAVE A FILE HIGHLIGHTED AND MUST CLICK IN THE EMPTY WHITE SPACE) in the folder you have the Piggybank.exe and Open Command Prompt Here... then... drag Piggybank.exe to the command window and drop it... the file name should show up in the command line... type a SPACE (you know... the spacebar) then type -salvagewallet and hit ENTER... walk away... come back in an hour... have a nice day!

Should look something like this...

C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Pennies>C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Ro
aming\Pennies\piggybank.exe -salvagewallet

You will not see any progress... just wait for the damn thing to open and it will be done.

No dice on the above... not a valid win32 application.

Dug into the Windows error report and it seems to be something with the amdocl.dll

EDIT: Found out why.

For Win 7 64 you do not use the system32 folder... you need to rename amdocl.dll in the SYSWOW64 folder and then add the one linked here.

Working now... time to tweak!

EDIT2: Of course... this has now broken my cgminer for scrypt mining unless I swap the files back... NICE!
yeah figured as much, march=nocona is core generation intel, I didn't have a dll issue at all and can switch between the two easly, must be a driver/sdk issue
using driver 13-12_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql, AMD-APP-SDK-v2.9-Windows-641 and cgminer 3.7.1 on r9 280x, win7 64 basic.

Well I am all set now... 193MH/s on my 7950 and got it running on the APU Devastator core on my 6800K... another 30MH/s.

Question if someone knows... what edits can be made to make this run and look for a DIFFERENT named amdocl.dll? I would like to make it call something like amdoclskc.dll and rename the custom amdocl64.dll made for this so I can put my reg one back and not have to file swap just to go back to scrypt mining.

1K SKC to the first functioning answer.

The fastest would be to create 2 bat files that does the renameing for you.
First one for SKC, to rename the original amdocl.dll to amdocl.new and the "new" amdocl64.dll to amdocl.dll.
Second one to reset the names above.

Good luck!

Tip SKC address: SkHZ8rTEehrmjFB6VffWh8K7eKgdppG2bq

Yes I can do that on my own... was not what I requested though.

Still looking... what modifications can be made to the existing scripts so that this can be forced to call amdoclskc.dll?

1K SKC still up for grabs.
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Star Trek Crypto Coin Information Thread on: January 02, 2014, 05:23:14 PM
Glad we are getting somewhere but can anyone provide settings for 7970's please

Start with -I10 and play with the 1500 mem clock, gpu clock should be roughly .6 * mem clock, and don't specify TC. That should get you somewhere.

And my 7950 also only produce single digit.

Tested this myself... been a while since i mined GPL... got better than that though... proofed it on the pool at 20KH/s+

Code:
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

ybcminer.exe --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1377557832 -d 0 -o stratum+tcp://gplcoin.com:8888 -u X -p X --thread-concurrency 21712 --worksize 256 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 1200 --gpu-memclock 1575 --gpu-vddc 1250 --gpu-powertune 20 --gpu-fan 90 --temp-cutoff 80 --scan-time 1 --queue 4 --no-submit-stale -I 11

Zero HW errors.

EDIT: Sorry this is my Sapphire 7950 OC Boost Edition
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CENT] Pennies launched on: January 02, 2014, 05:47:14 AM
Looks like CENT/XPM saw a little action today...

I just added another ~11 billion CENT after finding out Cryptsy owns trillions of it.  If they add cent as a base currency, which is much needed anyway, that would guarantee a price of at least 8-10 XPM-Satoshi.  That alone is worth the risk although I think there's much more potential here in CENT.

It's too bad I didn't know about this in time to get some of the massive interest. I'm happy I got in at the rock bottom .00000001 XPM, however.  Thank God for that.

Now let's get Jan 8th done with and see what happens soon after that.

cryptsy probably been dumping it as they get it, there is no guarantee they have huge amounts left. Cryptsy really should have devised away to give interest back.

They might have been dumping when people were paying LTC For it but over the last couple of weeks there was little to gain by selling at 1 XPM-Satoshi, which gave them plenty of time to accumulate at least a few trillion if not significantly more.

And it's clear that they'll need a good alt coin for coins like CENT and when will they ever get their hands on such a massive chunk of another coin like cent and not have that coin be a total fraud?  Cent is perfect - even the name is perfect and it has a good history so unless Vern and John are totally clueless they saw this coming a while ago and have amassed at least a few trillion coins to jump start the new base currency with.

And I doubt everyday joes like us have been buying up trillions of CENT when most people already had CENT and accrued huge interest payments.  The ones who didn't mostly bought a few billion coins as a spec play but it looks to me like someone has been accumulating trillions of CENT and that is still going on which means the primary objective was not the 10X interest deadline.

We will soon find out.  I'm now nearly 5 BTC-deep in this thing.  lol, I hope my theory is right.

What makes you think a few select people are buying trillions of cents? i am actually interested in this.

Just the sheer fact that it is now officially Jan 2nd and the CENT/LTC market is STILL up and you can STILL buy them...

Unless Vern and John had really LONG NYE parties and did not work at all today... I have a feeling they saw the backlash, and that as of the 8th CENT is fixed... and will probably NOT shut this down.

OR... if they do... I am starting to wonder if some of you are right about a 4th market based on CENT... they may just be preparing for it.

Download as unzip and unzip to miner folder, needed for temp monitoring and setting --cutoff-temp=90 for 79x0 cards.

Missing: 64 bit support (not needed according to "reorder")

Bat file example previously posted:
C:\python27\python.exe C:\skein\poclbm-skc\poclbm.py http://[username.worker]:[password]@skc.coinmine.pl:6400

/EDIT: Added adl3 temp monitor link and bat file example.

Followed this to the letter and got this on Win 7 64 bit:

Fires up and then pop up that python.exe has stopped working.

Bat file is:

C:\python27\python.exe C:\poclbm-skc\poclbm.py http://worker.1:12345@skc.coinmine.pl:6400 -d 0
I was having the same issue with 64bit, but worked once i rebuild sheinhash.so with -march=nocona or maybe try the more generic x86_64
note: i'm running intel cpu

Mind attaching your skeinhash.so? I am on an AMD APU... but would like to see if yours works for me.

794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CENT] Pennies launched on: January 01, 2014, 10:48:49 PM
Why would they close the cent/XPM market?  The volume is through the roof everyday, while people are making huge mistakes by (unwittingly) buying in the LTC market.

Because they closing ltc/xpm not by volume, but buy price. Volume is still high compared to other coins here (look at my message where i'm doing some calculations: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=246679.msg4183210#msg4183210 ).. Price at xpm/cent at the floor now, so they easily can decide to close xpm/cent in future.. They are doing this because they know something. Remember btc-e news about closing trc/ftc markets then after a day or so this news was edited..?

cryptohunter, i fully agreed with you about interest of vern & john. And closing ltc market has the same point of interest..

I don't get it, how would they earn more interest if they closed the markets, as most people would more likely withdraw their cents at that point?

And besides, wallets at Cryptsy don't earn interest so Vern and John would have to buy their cent coins like the rest of us.

Finally, if they knew something they wouldn't close down the markets, they would be buying up a massive amount so I'm not following you there.  All the bad news is baked into cent - come jan 8th the volume will dry up and then cent can be used as a legitimate coin and it already has a purpose which, ironically, cent itself has already proved - that a new cheaper and very liquid coin is needed to properly price cheaper coins on all exchanges.

And I don't blame them for closing down the LTC market when cent is selling for 1/8th the lowest LTC price on the XPM market.  I would close down the LTC market (temporarily) simply as a fiduciary duty to my clients as many are unwittingly paying 8 times the current cent price not realizing how much cheaper cent is on the XPM market.

So again, I see nothing for Vern and John to personally gain by closing down the LTC market and especially the CENT/XPM market.

You do not understand apparently... YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR OWN WALLET AT CRYPTSY... you have a SINGLE input address in the ONE WALLET Cryptsy operates... everyone sends CENT to the SAME wallet that they operate... the database just knows which address is yours and changes numbers to match to your new balance... what YOU see on Cryptsy is nothing more than a number in a database field.

If you understand that, then you now understand that the balance in the wallet has SO many inputs and any withdraws can simply be coded to only use the latest deposit blocks since CENT has coin control.

I know for a fact Cryptsy gets stake... because one day Vern was in chat and gave all of us that posted our trade keys a share of the first massive CENT stakes he got.

Closing the markets will force everyone to withdraw their CENT, leaving them with what stake profits they have left... unless they have seen the writing on the wall and they listed all the extra CENT above the user balances for sale in the last few weeks.

Well.... someone was mining while every pool were locked out of the source for the first 35minutes.
Oh and multipool which was support to be ready from start were ddosed to pieces during the entire time...

This coin had one of the worst releases of em all. There surely was premise involved.

ref: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=392035.0;topicseen

All of this has been gone over time and time again. There was no pre-mine.

http://www.reddit.com/r/MoonCoin/comments/1u1ye5/falsification_of_the_premine_accusations_a/

Releasing the source in advance to a select few constitutes premine in my dictionary. At best, the whole.thing was rather messy.

Anyway, Moon is looking good sitting beside my dead BTE's.

How are BTEs dead? Have you looked into them at ALL!?!

There was a 12 hour period not 2 days ago where BTE was THE top profit Sha256d coin... There was 9+ TH/s on coinex alone!

I have the capacity to start another pool.  Smiley

Cubits?

Dollarpound?

Firefly?

Other?

Well I just started a Dollarpounds pool Jupiter Mining Co there are not a lot of DPS miners so another DPS pool may not be needed yet.

OFF has a p2p pool but not anything else.
QBT has 2 pools bet they seem to be up and down a lot often at the same time.
FFC also just has a p2p pool but since you can use ASIC on it the pool runs between 1-4TH/s

FFC has a coinex pool that has a fairly large hashrate at times...

IS THIS WORLD GOING NUTS Huh

IM NOT EVEN GOING AGAIN ABOUT EVERY SINGLE INCIDENT THAT HAPPENED DURING THE LAUNCH AGAIN!

BUT

HE LIED ABOUT THE 8 HOURS RE-TARGET

WHAT MORE PROOF YOU WANT?

YOU LIE ABOUT ONE THING THAT IS FUNDAMENTAL FOR THE MINING AND FUTURE OF WHAT A COIN IS YOU ARE COMPRIMISING EVERYTHING AND NO ONE WILL TRUST YOU AGAIN!

THE ONLY ONES THAT STILL GRAB ONTO THIS COIN ARE THE WHALES THAT MINE TONS OF SHIT OF COINS AND STILL TRY TO SELL WHILE ITS IN THE HYPE TO THE POOR LITTLE FISH THAT STILL HAVE SOME HOPE ON GETTING SOME PROFIT OUT OF A NEW COIN!

BUT I BELIEVE IN FREE MARKET AND ONLY THOSE WHO WANT TO BE FOOLED ARE GOING OT BE FOOLED!!!

FOOL ME ONCE... SHAME ON YOU! FOOL ME TWICE... SHAME ON ME!!!

That felt good, im relieved now Smiley

That shit has already been explained. Retarget time is 8 hours assuming a 90 second block completion time, but at the start blocks were getting completed seconds apart.

Each block is meant to last for 90 seconds, and there are 28800 in 8 hours, therefore retarget time is 320 blocks. Simple math.

Makes me lol to no end thinking how ppl do not understand this...

Also... how no one else thus far has managed to implement Gravity Well into a new alt... lulz.
