Do you already have a beta version of the platform?
When do you plan to launch the platform?

Yes we do have the beta version and just fine tuning it security checks before releasing it. Our vision is much bigger than just this beta version and we have plenty (too many ?) ideas in terms of functionalities given our long experience. Even as fund managers we used to be frustrated by the tools we had at our disposal. And we have a clear vision of what should be encapsulated right from the start.

This is good news. If you work in any industry long enough, you understand quite well the pains that come with the territory. True innovation comes from the hands-on experience of dealing with sub-par tools, software, materials, procedures, etc.etc... Then having the motivation to do something about it.
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: September 22, 2017, 01:08:27 AM
This thread has grown so much in the last month and a half. I have had my opinion change on this one too. A few times.  Maybe because it is such an ambitious project that I was beginning to feel a little doubt. The devs did the best they could controlling the community. The people on this forum can be kinda brutal when they sink their teeth in.
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] VIBEHub | Crypto Based Virtual Reality Marketplaces & Hubs on: September 22, 2017, 12:02:38 AM
I had a feeling about this ICO. Above all other VR projects, I knew this one was going to succeed. Somehow, I let this slip through the cracks though and didn't add more than a tiny amount to my portfolio. Live and learn.

I know.... There is no way I could pull off as many moves as I have to make to be able to buy more tokes.
I have a few. I will watch them skyrocket too.

785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Authorship (ATS) token is a scam on: September 21, 2017, 11:34:12 PM
I still have not received mine and I was fully compliant. It's the end of the fourth day since they told me three days. I still can't label this a scam though. However, I will not hesitate to call this a huge mess of an ICO. careful with the "S" word guys. Use it too much and the meaning goes away.

I just use basic wordpad that comes with Windows. Works exactly the same for me.
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | PARAGON | Revolutionizing the Cannabis Industry | on: September 19, 2017, 09:18:31 AM
A thought I should reefer a few buds of mine. Weed always toked about a joint investment plan. Now, thanks to Paragon, it's no longer just a pipe dream.
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Authorship (ATS) token is a scam on: September 19, 2017, 06:25:30 AM
It might not be a scam, I wouldn't be in a hurry for such an accusation, but I haven't received my bounty tokens either. Although there were not so many tokens earned, I'm still waiting to receive them.

I agree that it is still early in this whole mess to place scam accusations. I will say, however, that from the moment I received that first email in which they stated their case, something didn't seem right. Somehow I knew that even though I was in full compliance with the rules, I wouldn't be getting my tokens. They have since sent me the new form for collecting on the tokens. Today in fact. So I will give them 3-4 days before I jump on the scam accusation bandwagon. Most likely this was just a panic decision made by someone that didn't know what they were doing. They seem to be trying to rectify this blundering mess of an ICO. Scam is a strong word and we should not be so quick to toss it around. It takes the meaning away from it. I don't think it ever be used unless it is attached to solid evidence.
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] VIBEHub | Crypto Based Virtual Reality Marketplaces & Hubs on: September 18, 2017, 09:37:35 PM
In the future there will be a new dependence on VR. Will be created Clubs of anonymous Virtuals. And it will be mandatory to walk around the city and meet with real people. Cheesy
gdr games played with vr glass but in real places like city, forest and real task to complete like find some objects or take a photo at a car this is only one scenarios of infinity applications for virtual reality...
Yeah, interesting reality is waiting for us .. I think in the future, people will even earn real money in virtual reality, performing various job
15 years ago i was read one of the best fantastic books about virtual reality - Labyrinth of Reflections by Sergei Lukyanenko,
this book made a strong impression on me  Cool

Interesting thoughts. I can understand that there will be quests that can be done in VR games, but what are some examples of jobs/tasks which people could undertake to earn money?

There will be a lot of different work in VR, for example, a designer.
Different quests, games where there will be prize money, the possibilities are endless.

Jobs that people could do in VR to earn money? Hmmmhhh? ... For example teaching classes, playing music concerts. Just exactly what VibeHub is focussing on.

It's so useful for for example private lessions in a lot of fields. How much time people also could save through this for giving lessons.

Not only that, But imagine the collaboration that can take place regarding projects and team organization through a VR space. Our(humans) level of production has increased so much since the first lines of instant communication were established via telegraph then onto voice transmission through phones which led to the transfer of information and now here we are, still in the age of information. Only, we are working with each other from across the globe to figure things out. I'm inspired just writing this post. I'd bet out of the six people I just quoted reside in at least three different countries. Yet here we are talking virtual reality together, instantly.

791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PREICO LIVE] Dogezer = Upwork + Github + GoogleDocs + Slack + ICO on: September 18, 2017, 05:38:13 AM
Hey Dogezer Team,
I just watched the alpha preview posted on your website and read your article on Medium. I must say that this is project if you are able to bring it to fruition, would be a great platform for developers or even a person with no coding skill and just a great idea. I have just a few bits of constructive criticism and one or two comments. First and foremost, the website is well laid out but it's not designed for someone that has no idea about software development or GitHub or Slack or bug reports or any of the jargon in mind. Potential investors may be turned away to look at one of the other 3,000 ICOs that were introduced this month. The article on Medium, on the other hand, explains your platform quite well and in a way that can relateable by just about anyone. I would recommend adding this article to your landing page. Some investors don't venture farther than the page with the buy-in button. The landing page and this announcement thread are the two most important places that need to have relevant, easy to understand information on what it is that you are building.

I have a few questions regarding the platform itself. I have not read your whitepaper in full though and my answers may be found there. Other than that, Great job! I see great potential in this as an investment and as an end-user.
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | PARAGON | Revolutionizing the Cannabis Industry | on: September 17, 2017, 12:50:30 AM
How to I retrieve the BTC that I deposited but did not buy tokens with?? Yeah, I just delayed and now have changed my mind.

I don't think you will be able to retrieve your BTC back once deposited in the crowd sale platform. The good thing is you will receive your PARAGON tokens equivalent to the BTC amount you sent to your deposit address.

I would advise against trying to get a refund on this. Your Paragon tokens are most likely going to be worth more than you spent on them. Unless you bought two days ago with BTC you bought two weeks ago. That would be the difference. lol.
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | PARAGON | Revolutionizing the Cannabis Industry | on: September 16, 2017, 11:02:54 PM
We don't have to worry about SEC imho, Paragon is not a security (as opposed to TaaS for example?), and SEC shut down only projects labeled as securities
Well, we all knew there will be some campaigns against cryptocurrencies and attempts to control them. I believe the big fight is still coming in the future. Banks and governments wont allow such a huge chunk of money be decentralized. We will see what the future will bring for Paragon and other projects.
Has anyone noticed that most of these new laws and regulations that are being announced are coming, not from the figureheads of the governments and countries imposing them, but from the central banks of those countries? I think, the smear/snuff campaign against crypto failed hard and now, in a panic move, for the first time, the puppetmasters are showing who really makes the laws and regulations. Sorry Kings and Sultans, Presidents and Monarchs. The Central Banks of your designated areas may not be needing your services anymore. But, don't worry. I'm in Vegas and I heard that Terry Fator is hiring new partners. A little off topic there. Had to be said though. Paragon rules!!!
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: September 16, 2017, 11:38:57 AM
Profit from renting real estate or from selling. They build and than can lease or sell.

simplyfied:
they buy an estate and maintain it (they rent it). Therefor they need to take "management fees" because they do the work. then they take a small percentage of the income as a profit for themselfes. they rest of the income is diveded through the investors

No, they ll build estate for investors money, not buy. And than, they can sell or lease estate. As I understand.

oh, my bad.
but that is even cooler isnt it?

I asked Melissa in the Telegram group if they were licensed to do property management. She told me REAL team is not doing the property management but they were discussing terms with a few management companies. So, that would be the opposite of collecting fees for managing the properties. Fees would go to the management company.
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: September 15, 2017, 11:43:17 PM
Because of the huge drop in the market there have been some doubt whether the Tethers are solvent. Where do they get the fiat to back the millions of virtual dollars?

With REAL at least we could see the real estate backing the currency. Would have made a good safe haven.

Moreover, Real Estate value always appreciates in the long run, so as its rental rate which is good for REAL investors. Smiley

The value of Real Estate does not always appreciate. Conversely, it does not always depreciate either. Just like any market, there are highs and lows. Many factors go into the valuation of a property. i.e. Zoning, the surrounding area, crime rates, age, appraisals, but the most influential part of the properties value is, how much did the last house on the same street sell for. A seller that is in a rush to sell and will take any lowball offer he gets can be detrimental to the entire street.

Thanks for letting us little fish in on this in the early stages with the 0.001 ETH minimum. That really means a lot. This platform is looking smooth. for an alpha version, I'm super impressed.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | PARAGON | Revolutionizing the Cannabis Industry | on: September 15, 2017, 07:51:06 PM
Does anyone else think the obvious name for this should have been PARAGON Tokin' instead of token? I have expressed doubts in my previous posts. Most of my concerns were answered to my satisfaction. Thanks again for being responsive to the community.

My bad, I thought this was the REAL token discussion. Get over it already. China is fickle when it comes to crypto. It's always been that way.

Moving back to the topic.... Does the number of tokens I have vested into a property give my vote more power than someone with half as many tokens as me? Do the token holders get to open purchase agreements that they find on the market or do we only get to choose from your lists?
ai

I think they select the properties, here is a sample platform they are building

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIgN4QJO_Kc

I don't see why the token holders cannot suggest our own markets. Personally I would like to see property in Dubai.
I would not recommend buying in Dubai. I think it's a bubble there and if they cannot sell their oil anymore they will be bankrupt in a few weeks.

Yeah, leave property decisions to the pros. Just give me my piece.

Agreed, but it would be nice if there was some kind of voting system on when to sell a property. Right now, as i understand, for each property they buy they have a set goal which REAL sets. Maybe in the future platform users will be able to vote using the REAL token as well. Would be another use of the token and appreciate the price  Cheesy

Ok, so token holders do not get a vote on property acquisition or anything? I thought I read that in the whitepaper. This was one I read twice because it really interested me. Initially, I thought the whole project was going to more focused on the Real Estate Agents Responsibilities. The Board of REALTORSŪ makes all the members use the word REALTORŪ just like that. All caps and registered trademark. See my confusion? REAL token. I still love the potential for profit here.
