781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which kind of situation will force you to sell? on: March 26, 2023, 04:57:24 AM
This is a question that has a variety of answers.  Everyone has their own choice when making the decision to sell it.  And if you ask me, I personally only sell my assets when I need emergency funds.  I am someone who prefers long term investing so I never thought of trading with little profit.

Currently, where you study and how many certificates you have has no major influence on your career, especially in the world of technology.  Nowadays skill is everything.  If you are only a high school graduate but because you focus on learning a skill, such as photography skills, then you can work as an advertiser, make Photoshop, make photo shoots or you can sell your skills on stock images and then they will pay for the photos you have taken.  earn.  That is an example from me.  Currently, the big companies in the world don't look at your lectures or your certificate but what abilities you can provide for the progress of the company.
783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Given an option between Bitcoin and Fiat which do you prefer? on: March 21, 2023, 07:38:01 PM
FIAT money has a depreciating value.  $1 now isn't the same as $1 10 years ago or even 100 years ago.  This is a problem for the lower middle class.  Also a problem for us today.  In the past, the salary we received was worth an example of $ 1,000. You could spend $ 600 for your daily needs, but now your thousand dollar salary will be used up entirely for your daily needs, which is the same as in previous years.  This is an irony of FIAT money.  That's why I have thought that the way for us to be successful is to make investments such as stocks, bonds, gold, or Bitcoin.  Hope it helps you and thanks!
784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: this is, how easy it is to scam people on: March 21, 2023, 07:26:22 PM
This is too weird.  There is a girl who wants money from Bitcoin and she doesn't want to learn anything about Bitcoin but wants to make profit.  That's crazy.  Except he's a super rich guy who doesn't care about his money.  But I don't think so.  Maybe he is a newbie who wants to have immediate success to make money with Bitcoin.  But that's too out of touch with real life.  I think it's like a story in the imagination because there are people like that who do things like that.  Do you also think that this is just a story?
785  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price is looking positive green on: March 20, 2023, 04:18:38 PM
Currently many banks are experiencing a crisis.  I have read news in the newspapers stating that many banks fail to accept loan payments or for some reason they are experiencing a financial crisis.  I don't know what it is but I believe it is having a good effect on the cryptocurrency world.  Currently BTC and altcoins have shown a positive direction and a steady trend of rising prices.  I think it's the right time to start investing again in the cryptocurrency world.  I believe know 2023 is the year of rise of cryptocurrency Cheesy
786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Blockchain Transactions Per Second on: March 20, 2023, 04:09:55 PM
We already have the lightning network, which should be capable of handling way more transactions than Visa does:

https://twitter.com/Blockstream/status/1502115599874359297

I have read the link you have provided.  I don't really understand how those bitcoins layer 2 working.  But it's an amazing thing that it can process transactions tens of times faster than what the Solana network can do.  I used to think that Solana is the best and fastest network right now.  But this news changed my view.  But when was this applied?  Is it BTC or something other than BTC?
787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Asset performance Q1 2023 on: March 20, 2023, 03:59:52 PM
I have exchanged my shares for crypto assets. Because at that time I saw that cryptocurrency was the best investment I had known. There may be many risks including fraud and fraud but I trade there and until now I think doing short term trading is more profitable even though I can never sell my crypto assets while they are hitting towards the moon. But I am satisfied with the returns that I have got. I'm sure 2023 BTC and altcoin will improve.
788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I found my Bitcoin books from 2016 on: March 19, 2023, 03:18:54 PM
How did you know about Bitcoin in 2016, 2017 and know about those faucets but did not join the forum earlier?

You only joined Bitcointalk in 2022, about less one year and one month ago. It is good to know that you are Bitcoin adopter since 2016, 2017 and you are survivor since the past bear market and a current one because you are still here, around Bitcoin, this market and are a member of this forum.

Would you mind sharing what happened with you since 2016 till 2022, please.

Today you can claim Bitcoin at this faucet: https://freebitco.in/site/bitcoin-faucet/

I am not sure about other faucets.

A first Bitcoin faucet is Get 5 free bitcoins from freebitcoins.appspot.com in June 2010.

Wow 5 Bitcoin is a big thing right now.  That's crazy!.  But it makes sense because the price of BTC then was not what it is today.  I'm sorry because I got to know this forum in 2016 but I didn't study and do activities in this forum because at that time I didn't have enough community and information regarding this forum.  Maybe if time could be turned back, I want to learn BTC and trade cryptocurrency in that year then I will invest until this year Cheesy
789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time is the most valuable thing on: March 19, 2023, 02:42:59 PM
Time is very precious and we should be able to use our time for freedom.  What people call financial freedom is a must for everyone.  I think so.  If you spend your day working hard and then you spend your salary to fulfill your daily needs, that is a real shame because you will be attached to that kind of thing for the rest of your life.
790  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin continue to rise on: March 18, 2023, 03:17:15 PM
All depends on speculation.  I assume you are new to the forum because you have very little activity.  If for now I suggest you to hold your BTC because I believe BTC price will hit ATH and I suggest you if you have financial freedom that you wait for BTC to touch $50,000 but if you need a lot of money I think you can sell it at $30,000 :  D
791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanging large amounts of BTC for FIAT on: March 17, 2023, 11:56:07 PM
You can do that.  You can give him fiat money and you will receive BTC.  It was a good option in my opinion because he doesn't really trust in exchanges.  But you can rest assured that all will be safe if it is a trusted exchange market like Binance or Crypto.com.  That is if you want to trade and immediately start exchanging your BTC and withdrawing fiat money.  But if you just want to hold the BTC I think your friend can hold it where he has stored that BTC.
792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: While Everyone was Talking about El Salvador! We forgot about Guatemala on: March 17, 2023, 11:46:12 PM
I have read the article.  Guatemala does not reject BTC but they also do not use BTC as a medium of exchange in their country.  This is just like any other country that doesn't ban BTC and accepts them as a digital asset.  I see what happened in Guatemala the same as in Indonesia where all crypto assets are legal but cannot be used as a medium of exchange.
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as treasure. on: March 15, 2023, 12:09:13 PM
I would call it a "High Risk Digital Asset".  It's that simple.  I want people to know and be interested in BTC or the world of cryptocurrencies and I will introduce them as "digital assets" where everyone can own and invest there.  But I also call it "high risk" because I hope people who are interested in BTC know the risk they are taking with every trade they make.  I think this can help a lot of people to get interested in BTC and also know the risks they have.  Thank You
794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin cannot be a Bank? on: March 15, 2023, 11:45:40 AM
Bitcoin is a decentralized system whereas conventional banks are a centralized system.  Those are two different things.  And both also have different functions and purposes even though they are both forms of finance in today's modern life.  At a traditional bank you are expected to get financial services such as saving your fiat currency, making deposits, making loans, or making your mortgage payments.  You can do all of that because a traditional bank is a centralized system so that the bank can supervise you and all parties involved.  Meanwhile, Bitcoin and most cryptocurrencies are decentralized systems so that you have full control over managing your assets.  You can do whatever you want with your assets.  And if something like fraud or fraud occurs you are fully responsible for your crypto assets.  Hope this helps you understand how and why BTC can't be a Bank and a bank can't be like a cryptocurrency.  Thank You!
795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loans and credits facilities on BTC. on: March 15, 2023, 11:34:22 AM
It is a risky move because if you ask for a loan in BTC and then the price of BTC experiences an extreme increase or decrease of course it will destabilize your economy or the one who gave you the loan.  And what I already know is that BTC doesn't have that facility.  And those who carry out cryptocurrency trading will also not take such a very risky action.  I think it's better if you make a loan at a Financial Company and it's safer and you only need to pay low interest.
796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when people tells their story on bitcoin on: March 14, 2023, 04:16:48 PM
Everyone has been in a phase where they feel they are in the last queue in the development of bitcoin or cryptocurrency.  Hopefully their people they are too late to invest.  I started getting to know cryptocurrency in 2018 and at that time I already thought that I was too late to invest.  Then look at what happened now?  Compare how much BTC or altcoin was worth at that time to the current price.  Several cryptocurrencies have hit the ATH in 2020 and 2021. I honestly regret that I once unfollowed the crypto world thinking it was too late.  Currently I have about $3,000 in various types of portfolios and I'm sure in the next 3 to 4 years I will get some profit from them Cheesy
797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early bitcoin investment for my baby on: March 14, 2023, 03:58:14 PM
Congratulations on your cute and very sweet baby.  It's great that your baby has BTC as his first investment.  I advise your Baby to hold the BTC for a very, very long time Cheesy.  Unlike me who has no patience.  I think your baby has the patience to hold BTC until he is 18 years old Cheesy.  But whatever it is safe for your baby and congratulations you have taught your baby to invest since childhood.  Hopefully he prefers to investing rather than saving heheh...
798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One reason why bitcoin keeps preeminent? on: March 14, 2023, 03:44:37 PM
Bitcoin already has a long history in cryptocurrencies.  It is the basis of all cryptocurrencies.  It is the mother of all cryptocurrencies.  I think everyone wants BTC as their asset but at the current price people are choosing altcoins as their form of investment and they hope their altcoins will bring them a return.  I think as long as you are investing in cryptocurrency then BTC is something you should have.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: my small investment on: March 14, 2023, 03:33:45 PM
If I have $ 50 then I will try to invest in Altcoins which have prices ranging from $ 0.1 - $ 1.  I think it's more profitable.  Hoping for BTC to hit $140k and you profit around $300 is not worth it than expecting your $1 altcoin to hit $10 or $20 and you will profit around $500 or $1,000 and that can be achieved in about a year.  Those are my calculations and how I see $50 in the cryptocurrency world.
800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is the last chance to exchange stablecoins for Bitcoin on: March 12, 2023, 07:27:46 AM
That's why I think holding Bitcoin is still the best option for now.  Bitcoin is in the range of 22k - 25k but in my view that Bitcoin will experience a price increase in the middle or end of 2023. I have read and analyzed some of the data I got from various sources and I think Bitcoin will not experience significant changes even though at this time the FED  do something to prevent inflation from impacting the cryptocurrency market.
