781  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: November 22, 2017, 12:02:54 PM
i had about $200 worth of bitcoin.
How can i earn more with that amount?
should I trading? or make an investment?
and please give me some trusted site to investing my wealth.

**i dont want to give a loan, or else.**

if you had some advice, feel free to tell me.
really apreciate it.
thank you.
You do both or the investmnet nor trading you can do both and has both profits. Although trading has more income than investing because it has no limits of money or in transactions though invesment also but trading has an instant income but risky sometimes. It up to you mate to handle such work and patience.

I wouldn't suggest him to do so since If he is a newbie then he is prone to get scam an be appealed by those refferal monkey guys so he must stay away on investment thing and rather the main thing that he need to focus with is the trading since as you said he might gonna get an unlimited profits if he's been well trained to do some nasty trades on some exchanges existing out there.
I think that if you do both you can get the most out of you profit because by trading you can make money but you can not be sure that you will get more money because there are days that trading wont get you money or even make you lose btc.
I agree with you i lost a lot with trading because the coins did not become as big as i had expected and went down a more but after a while i knew in which one to invest and trust and now i have even more profit than loss.
That is true that is what i meant to teach everyone you will have loss in the beginning and after that you will know everything and how it works and than you will make even more profit than just with BTC only because trading gives way more than only BTC.
I agree with you trading does give you more than if you just invest in one coin but you also need to know which one to invest in people do not know that and they go blindly investing which gives them a lot of loss do research before.
There is no risk in Investment, I see it as one of the simplest business you can operate on. The only one that is risky is trading. Investment is risk just because of the reason that there are lots of scams and hiyps here and there, making it hard to find one that is more reliable and trusted. You just have to seek for opinions when you’re about to invest on any site to know whether it’s legit or not.
No risk in investment is impossible, because as your said, there is no investor lose money and no one has profits from investment. Remember, trading is a form from investment, but about the type, trading need trader spend more time to trading and follow the price to buy low, sell high every cycle.
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: November 22, 2017, 12:00:31 PM
Do you have a detailed plan of Monaco card issue stages by countries?

There are different compliance in different countries, so it would be difficult to tell specifically.
Our planning is to rollout in Asia, Europe and the North America.
Yup, I understand this problem, however, I hope Monaco's devs team can release Monaco to countries in Asia soon. In my country, almost investors in this project and TenX project always comparison together, I heard TenX - an ICO project also has same idea as Monaco - had plan for Asia and got confirmed for their Visa.
783  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Must Crash - $7500 Is The Peak on: November 22, 2017, 11:56:31 AM
Bitcoin Price - all years
https://www.coindesk.com/price/

Many people here have a wrong concept about long term investment, that it only mean to  buy-and-hold - holding no matter what. The term investment itself implies a wise decision. The first cardinal principle of investment is:

Invest for profit.

I do not know how to comment on "investors" who do not care much about profit.

   Short-term Trading:
There are indeed short and long term investment. Short term investment is speculation in very volatile markets -  to make profits by buy-low and sell-high in a time span of a day or even just hours. The greater the volatility, the better it is for the such traders. But such short term trading is only for the very sharp traders - it is a zero sum game (with crypto, it should be done by bots - program trading). Short term traders do not take the risk of holding bitcoin balances; they only ride a rising market as in the past months. Thus short term trading may only be profitable in a rising market, never in a falling bear market.

   Long-term Investment:
Long term investment means to buy a commodity that holds value in the future. A proper investment implies knowing when to buy and when not to buy. Just because we "buy-and-hold" does not mean that, whenever we have some spare funds to invest, we immediately enter the market. Entering the market to buy with no timing consideration is no investment. We only invest to maximize profit and this may only be achieved when we have good timing. The second principle in investment:

Timing is important in successful investing.
.
The need for timing applies even for long term investment.

Let's assume we agree that bitcoin is a good long term investment - it's value in the long term will always rise. But don't forget that nearly all commodities rise in the long term. Even prices of coal, corn and pork belly would rise in the long term because of the nature our fiat system. So, even buying bitcoin still is very dependent of timing if you "care" to make profits.

Many here think that, because bitcoin will surely have an increased value in the long term, any moment is a correct moment to buy. It is not! What if the current price of $7000  is the peak and it  crashed to a low of a $1000 in 2020. It recovers to $7000 in 2025. You'll be in the red for 8 years! That's not good long term investment! Ok, it is only a "what if".

So for these so-called long term "buy-and-hold" bitcoin purists, the question now is :

Is this the time to buy?
Go to the link above and see the chart for the bitcoin price for all years. You must know how to zoom in at the frame around 2014 covering the rise and crash about Dec 2013 (Mt. Gox period). The market rose from $120 to $900 and crashed back to ±$230 about 2015. Only when you zoomed in will you see the similarity between that rally and this - they are similar (only visually evident when you zoomed in because of scale difference).

This current rally is the same as the one in 2013, the only difference is the scale:

The current rally is an exponential rise.
All financial markets that rise exponentially will crash - even for the best of investment medium. It is almost a law of nature, just like the law of large numbers and the return to the norm.

This Bitcoin price of $7000 is the peak and it must crash.

A third cardinal principle of investment:

Good timing requires patience and the ability to wait for the right moment.

So even for long term investors, this is not the time to buy.

Wait!

Bitcoin will crash and the peak is ONLY a good $7,500? Sure NO! As you may have read by now, Bitcoin already reached as high as $7,900 +++. What then can you say about that price? You can only predict so much but you cannot limit what Bitcoin's price will be in the long run. I have always believed it will increase more than its initial price offering. Perhaps that belief of mine turned into a reality. Create your own belief, and watch it take place. The only limit is the limit you set yourself.
Bitcoin has jumped to $8,000 recently and there are a lot of traders still believe the price of Bitcoin can increases more. Those people don't think the price of Bitcoin will stop at this price, they predict the price of Bitcoin can reaches at $10,000 and $100,000 in next few years.

785  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: November 21, 2017, 11:28:44 PM
studyig some advance predic and buy inexpensive and waiting around to market it costly... thats itn
my trading strategy is very simple.if i don,t have coins then i need to wait for the right time when the price goes down then we need to buy.and we need to sell when the price is at his peak giving you double profit.that you invest in btc.and after you buy btc if you feel that price is decreasing then its better to sell out your coin as soon as possible.i think this is the strategy which is used by many people on the bitcoin trading.
This's only on the theory. You must to know the theory and the fact are different. You will get many trouble when you want to apply the theory to pratice, it always needs you spend a lot of time to research the method useful for you and almost people can't keep calm never succeed in trading.
786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: November 21, 2017, 11:25:52 PM
Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
It is difficult to explain bitcoin for teenagers but it also depends on its own human resources, of course, to explain may be difficult but by showing the results we get from bitcoin and its benefits will certainly be able to influence them

Yes I agree, It is difficult to explain bitcoin especially on childrens and teenagers. Me also felt difficulties on understanding it on the first time, like you, but I guess if you will find any information about bitcoin then if you will teach childrens and teenagers step by step then I guess they can learn something even just a small thing.
Haha, I think it's very easy. I just need to teach them make money, then, they will need to have good method to make more money easily and Bitcoin is one of the good ways for them. They don't need to own credit card, because children and teenagers haven't enough age to create credit card. But they can still receive their salary through Bitcoin easily without any limit.
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The future of Ethereum (ETH) on: November 21, 2017, 11:19:52 PM
I'm looking forward for the bright future of ethereum, because if you review the history of ethereum in the market you can see that their price were almost in the same spot this year, maybe they were increase a little bit. But in summary it almost no movement, but still I believe to ethereum coin because I know that this coin had a high potential and being prospect to be next to bitcoin.
I believe the price pumping could happen by the beginning of the upcoming year start. This prediction is completely in comparison to the last year price pumping that happened by the year starting. Also after a pump, the price was quiet stable without big fluctuations, and same might have generated good forward momentum to push higher.
You prediction will be right if the whale want to keep the price of Ethereum stability. In my opinion, they usually like to pump more the price of cryptocurrency they pumped. Because it can makes the FOMO raise more in the traders community and a lot of traders will change their opition by the value.
788  Economy / Speculation / Re: SegWit2x is DEAD! Bitcoin to the Moon! on: November 21, 2017, 11:17:38 PM
There are so many delusional people here in the forum. Bitcoin price is going down the toilet, it's certainly not heading to the moon. It's idiots like the OP that eventually kills bitcoin.
It seems the price of Bitcoin has pumped the opposite all prediction of people don't trust the future of Bitcoin Roll Eyes. I'm a Bitcoin's holder, so, I'm sure the Bitcoin's price won't below $10,000 in next year. Remember, the trending of cryptocurrency and Bitcoin, the government still don't apply the technology from this world. Imagine the situation they apply the blockchain technology into reality Cool
789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: November 21, 2017, 11:08:49 PM
To be honest, we need both cash and crypto currencies. But to say that cash is better is absurd! If you aren't rich you have to work to get cash and during this process the government already takes a part of your work thru income tax. And when you use it as a payment you have also to pay the value-added tax. Hence, to say cash has no fees has absolutely nothing to do with the reality and more worse its tax is unlike higher than for crypto currencies!

true, depending on what it is for. rather than comparing which one is better, I think using both for a more convenient and secure transaction process as needed is the right choice. there is no substitute for each other, but complement each other between fiat and bitcoin. Is not it?

If you want to send money to another country's citizen, bitcoin is better.

If you wanna use your money in your country, like spending it, cash is way better than bitcoin. We need to be honest here.
Yes but you can use Western Union, for example, for that. BTC is just good to hide money...
You don't understand the benefit of Bitcoin. You just blame the dark side of Bitcoin while Bitcoin is better than Western Union to become a payment method for worldwide. Example, how much time you need to wait your Bitcoin transaction get confirm? Compare that time to Western Union, I always need to wait more than one month to receive my salary from Google Adsence through WU.
790  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: November 21, 2017, 11:04:03 PM
Bitcoin is interntional currency as people are using this cryptocurrency all over the world because it is healthy and easy way to handle or transfer the payments
If we look at the graph of the bitcoin since the time it was introduced to this world, then we’ll get to know this thing that bitcoin is continuously gain more and more fame with the passage of time. Bitcoin is no doubt very much capable of becoming the international currency. The only thing which is creating troubles for bitcoin is the legalization of bitcoin. If that happens, then no one can stop bitcoin from being the international currency.
Actually, if you want to make Bitcoin become the internation currency, you can do that. As long as all the people of the world accept this currency and want to use it instead of FIAT. Yeah, that's the era of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. But the fact, there're a little of people already to use Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to replace FIAT for daily.
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 kinds of ICOs — Protect yourself on: November 21, 2017, 11:01:05 PM
Thank you for taking time to compile this. I have to say, I do agree with you 100%. With all the scamming going around unchecked, one can't be too careful. I think its interesting that you mention that people need to look out for icos in certain countries. Personally if the ICO is based in Eastern Europe and India, my antenna are raised. If the whole team is from any of those countries, I bounce :-/

YES - Very important aspect for ICO is the country they are from. The whole "eastern europe" ICO's are most of the time scam (Nowadays!).
On the other hand the best ICO so far are from Russia ETH, WAVES ...
Really? I saw too many ICOs hyped from Russia without any good result after crowdsale. Example KICKICO, this's one of project from Russia, but look at the price of ICO token now. What is the reason make this token drop a lot of value like that? Below the ICO price and there's no large exchange accept it while it has raised more than 80.000 ETH from crowdsale. Bad project!
792  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: November 21, 2017, 10:53:51 PM
Can you really be sure you will profit unless you have insider info?

Well, it's called educated guessing for a reason, means you have done your part to learn what you needed before trading. Still, the term guessing is not exactly what we can make out of trading. Trading involves a lot of studying and monitoring the smallest changes in prices, not by any means of guessing. But like all other means of making money, sometimes we find on the losing end of the deal.
The loss help you understand and know the risk of investment. Sometimes, it helps you remind your self after got a lot of profits. The risk and the worst situation as loss all money always exist in trading. You should be ready with all situations and the loss can helps you improve your emotion.
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: November 21, 2017, 10:51:43 PM
I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me
I absolutely agree to that, bitcoin is still not supported in some countries and I think they have many reason why they still not supported it. In addition, I think one of the reason is the tax because bitcoin is a tax free then we all know it is decentralized so that they do not controled it.
Yeah, just only about the tax problem is enough to make the government don't want to accept Bitcoin, they need tax to have profits and this is the only benefit for them when they become the government. Beside that, with the nature of cryptocurrency as Bitcoin, it's really bad for society because this currency will help the criminal solve the problem about payment method anonymous.
794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - time to buy or sell? on: November 20, 2017, 05:58:03 PM
With Bitcoin falling so much this week/month, do you think it's a great opportunity to buy in or time to cash out?

for now it is good to buy, because the price is down to a few percent. don't cash if you don't have an urgent need, because maybe some time the price will go up.
Yes exactly for now, it is not the time to sell rather buy. If you are newbie and you want to get into this world, better it would be to start with campaigns. If you are casual trader, then surely wait for little more and prices will drop more. Thus just buy bitcoin and hold them for a long time. This will increase the value of bitcoin and you will be ending with such handsome profits.
The price of Bitcoin depends on the investors of Bitcoin, if they don't want to buy Bitcoin and the demand is lower than the supply (seller), you can't see the price of Bitcoin increases and there is no profits for you. This is the normal basic knowledge for anyone want to become the investor.
795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: November 20, 2017, 05:31:48 PM
What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked
The chance is very, very small. In each country there should be a state currency. I can not even imagine what can take away the national currency.
A big economic crisis, there are countries that no longer print their own currency  and most of the time those economies use the US dollar as a replacement which is not that good of an idea because once the dollar begins to fail then their economies are going to fail as well, but they do not have too much of a choice since their governments have showed they cannot be trusted with the responsibility to print their own currency.

Well even with this example i don't think any serious country will consider bitcoin a substitute for its national currency no matter how bad their situation is. There are times when every economy experiences some bad drops and foreign currencies seem to be rising against its national currency but wth the right controls they are able to stabilize it and the same cannot be said of he volatile bitcoin.
As far as I know, it seems Zimbabwe will become the first country using Bitcoin to replace the primary currency in this country. Do you know the economy status of this country? If you know, you also understand this country is really needs to has a method can solve the current status.
796  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: November 20, 2017, 05:23:12 PM
Trading is not an educated guessing. Many people losses their money because they don't have enough knowledge to trade their coins. Trading is really a hard job and we should have a lot of information about trading.

Agree. Trading is not  like gambling that is guessing and only luck. Trading is all about knowledge about that coin and the news about it that it will be pump or dump. You will guess the price or up until its price with the reason why it is pumping unlike guessing only that you have no bases. Though on the other hand mostly those who guesses will more lose their money
Exactly! There is no way that you can actually treaty trading just like that of educated guessing. In fact, trading is much more than that of educated guessing. There are number of things which you need to have in order to become an expert in the world of trading.

The things which you need to have includes chart analysis, knowledge level, sharp mindedness and above all control over your emotions.
"Control over your emotion" -> This is the most important to help you become the expert in trading. I don't need to have other things, but my emotion is always important than all. Because other things can affected by my emotion, so, as long as I can control my emotion, I can own all.
797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than Cash. on: November 20, 2017, 05:13:41 PM
Cash is the tangible asset. You can easily use it at any time . bitcoin is not tengible . it cannot be touched . but it is safe  than cash . bitcoin price increasing but cash never be increased . if you saving cash it will never be double but if u saving bitcoin it will turn into double . so I think bitcoin is better than cash.

And because the higher ups like to touch things that are really meant for people, the blockchain is a bad choice for them. The reign for the people who take advantage and of this and the present system of the government can be rewired by the blockchain. This freedom is so terrifying that they are  getting pump up by cryptocurrencies issues. The world is changing and BTC can make the system much better than the cash did.
Here is satoshi Whitepaper for more details of technical aspects of BTC: https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf

Therefore, the government scared the growth of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, they want to change the nature of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, but it is impossible. Beside that, if someday, Bitcoin becomes the main of currency in the world. I think the government won't exist in the world's economy system, because they are not necessary while Bitcoin's users are the controller.
798  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: November 20, 2017, 05:02:15 PM
Bitcoin plays an important role in reducing unemployment especially to those who have no work and can't find for a job because once their into Bitcoin and started earning it helps them a lot with their financial and daily needs
I think bitcoin only gives opportunity for unemployed people to make the activity simple but still looks idle, the longer unemployment rate is increasing due to lack of job field and difficult to find work.  think people who unemployed very effective if choose BTC as activity that can make money and the income is not much different from people who have a regular job, nemployed choose BTC is very good in addition to increasing their insight and all depends on hard work and trying to find the gaps in the profitable that exist in BTC.
I don't think so, because in my country, there are a lot of students and unemployed have chances to make money through Bitcoin. It's really helped a lot of people as me have a job to make money for our life and family. Today, I can be proud of being a Bitcoin user and an employee working here.
799  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: November 01, 2017, 07:35:03 PM
Just as recommendation, be really careful with hints from other people. Everytime do your own research before investing in any coins. Buy low, sell high and learn the technical chart analysis.
For sure it is very important to have the bitcoin and to get in the bitcoin because now all the people are using the bitcoin as the other side and the resource for the bitcoin, now the value and the price of the bitcoin is increasing so it is the time to buy the bitcoin and to hold till for the long time as the best and the better process of the increasing value and the price of the bitcoin, I know the bitcoin and the investing of the bitcoin is my best priority for the earning bitcoin.
And also there is a speculation or may it become real speculation that bitcoin in the moon that we know or think that bitcoin will reach the price that can change anyones life who have bitcoin so as being that some are wanted to have this and become rich of course they might get and do some way to have more bitcoin. And also investing in bitcoin is the good choice.
Invest in Bitcoin is good, but you need to invest in right time, it does not mean you can invest in Bitcoin anytime and will get a huge profits after long time holding it. Nothing easily to make money like that, therefore, do not let someone make you have thought invest in Bitcoin always good Wink

litecoin right now is stable
Stable USD rates, Litecoinis the best choice for ASIC miner at now. However, the price of Bitcoin increased to high price made the Bitcoin rates of Litecoin dumped a lot and below the strongest support price at 0.01 BTC, this is really a sad new for me Sad
