781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i trust new IEO on the new exchange? on: October 22, 2019, 10:57:45 AM
can anyone invest in new IEO listing in new exchange or it will be risk, i think if the price is low, it have the chance to increase, o what is the experts opinion?
Its a big risk to invest on IEO projects from new exchanges, they mostly have other aims and new exchanges are been built lately to quickly take the advantage of IEO fund gains, i bet they can easily exit scam on you so be extremely careful
Yes you can but they are dangerous, first they have no reputation to secure like binance or gate, secondly many new exchanges are rushed to get in IEO train, thirdly they can easily fake IEO projects to scam you
More possible chances to scam, and if you are much interested into IEO investment you've got more and more exchanges that do launch IEOs often. Maybe it is hard to invest as it will be crowded by more users, good is to try with these exchanges. Other than this go with exchanges that has got good trade volume.
782  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some not so obvious things that damage a country's economy? on: October 22, 2019, 10:19:08 AM
"Free" stuff. Imagine where all that have to come from. The government isn't exactly good when it comes to spending money and they end up trying to fill a bottomless pit. They'll just throw more money at non-performers.
For keep up the ruling power during elections parties used to give more and more freebies. Apart from this the election reports from every party will have some freebies announcements if they win in the election. By the time they never care about the education quality, the health care, or the employment opportunities. This affects the economy, better is to spend those fund for freebies into education and other basic needs that uplift each and everyone's life.
783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in football on: October 22, 2019, 08:35:26 AM
The only time when I see the BTC symbol on TV, is when I am watching the News and some Ponzi scheme used Bitcoin to scam people or some Pedo network that used Bitcoin and then got exposed.  Tongue

The other times it was in some TV Series or Movie where the hacker always use Bitcoin for money laundering or some money transfers to pay for some illegal criminal activities.  Roll Eyes

In the media and movie industry, Bitcoin is synonymous with illegal activities.  Roll Eyes  < Puppet masters use this to push their hidden agenda>  Angry Angry Angry
In my region that too is hard to see. I saw about bitcoin when the price grew high, by then it was much talked in TV. Later once again it didn't got broadcasted. Recently some legal issues were there for Cryptocurrency usage, this got into conversation. In recent days bitcoin has gained more good reputation, and a month ago Sportsbet.io sponsored a team. As it is a cryptocurrency accepting service render bitcoin was depicted on the sleeve. Now once again bitcoin getting visible to the people on a football league is truly a big thing for growth.
784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / New CRYPTOPHONE have got launched. The market adoption keeps growing. on: October 22, 2019, 04:07:21 AM
HTC, one of the leading technology based development company has come up with the first cryptophone EXODUS 1S which is completely focused on the cryptocurrency users. The importance it gained is through running a complete bitcoin node allowing to confirm and validate transactions. The smartphone configuration is not that attractive, but mentioning it a cryptophone adds value to it.
785  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin start to rebound? Next Target $8.6K? on: October 21, 2019, 05:23:42 PM
The price of bitcoin stands above $8200 at present, and we don't know how long this growth will get continued. Today the price of bitcoin has grown to $8280. Now what we see with the price seems to make a bull trend on the market through the continued circulation of the bitcoin. Somehow we can get good profit if we maintain patience.
786  Economy / Speculation / Re: Day Trading for a Living? on: October 21, 2019, 04:28:58 PM
The fact that the percentage of losers is so high makes me think that day trading is kinda rigged - those who have deep pockets can influence the price on small scale and profit off it, while the rest simply trade to give money to these manipulators. If day trading was random, the win/lose ratio would be closer to 50/50.
Well said, day trading is perfectly good for large volume investors. As the market is manipulative, those with large volume of funds will fluctuate the market and profit out of the same. Day trading for a living is completely a hard thing, but if we have patience we can profit out of trading based on the investment.
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which betting type gives you the most payout? on: October 21, 2019, 03:46:26 PM
Interesting OP, I love sport betting but don't really know about these types. Will definitely go through them.
Since the payout are good, I just hope they are not too tedious or hard to win cause I have come to notice that some sport which has good payout tends to be tedious, thus winning many not come easily. Noticed this alot in soccer, when the odds are good with many player, winning becomes hard.
I only do straight bet with lower odds, but the rest I don't do it or I do but I'm not familiar in their types or terms. Sometimes I just bet whenever I want or feel that they have chance to win not considering what type it is just merely the record of their wins. But it's good to know those other methods exist.
This is how majority of the common people who aren't that aware of gambling spend. I too prefer to go with the lower odds suggested by the gambling site itself. Parallel to the same I do gather some information before spending. Professional gamblers are the one who spend knowing each and every strategy having different names.
788  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Curious for places for trading Crypto on: October 21, 2019, 02:38:09 PM
I’m rather new to trading crypto and I seem to be looking for places to trade crypto. I really don’t know where to trade and there are many places that show up in ads wherever I go on the Internet and I really get overwhelmed by all these places. Do you guys have any suggestions on where to trade, because I don’t and I really want to start trading
You can explore more about trading before you make your first step into buying or selling of cryptocurrencies. This is completely a high risk market where you can't get everything as predicted. First learn and then get into trading. This will make you stay out of risk and initially experiment with small amounts. places for trading Crypto(exchanges)
789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Friendly City on: October 21, 2019, 02:03:30 PM
Going through the entire list of bitcoin friendly cities each and every city is much advanced and a well planned cities. Following this we can expect more other small cities to follow and make the city get advanced. It is true that more the number of merchants accepting bitcoin, more will be the chance of getting into the top list of bitcoin friendly cities. ATM's in large number also gives awareness about the use of bitcoin, but the usage of these ATM's were very low.
790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be profitable in sports betting? on: October 18, 2019, 03:21:56 PM
My own favorite game is dice, I could give all the codes and strategy of winning if the topic was about this game but for spots, I have no idea but one thing I can talk about winning in gambling generally is patience and diligence is really necessary to really scale through in it.

You are free to make a thread and share your strategy on how to win in dice but honestly, I don't believe anyone can win consistently in dice due to the fact that dice has a house edge, I have been playing dice for many years already but I never take it seriously as I believe this game should be better treated for fun only.
In reality it is hard to spend on dice for fun. When it comes to gambling it is all about money, you win you're happy, and you loss, you bet high amount to recover the loss. This is what happens with gambling. Not only with dice, with any form of gambling it is impossible to experience a consistent win. With sports betting winning chance is high when you're good to pick a right team after good research. With dice there is a 1% house edge with most of the dice sites. This means there is risk, but when you go for increased winning chance you can win, but that too isn't consistent.
791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is fortunejack.com a Scam or are they Legit? on: October 18, 2019, 01:16:09 PM
They have been harassing me with adds, and I didn't remember any negative reviews, in fact I remembered good ones. Now I finally deposit, and when I go to withdraw they accuse me of multi-accounting? Has this happened to anyone else, or anyone know how I can clear this up? I might have had a really old account that I forgot about, but I'm really careful to never give online casino's an excuse to scam me?

Hi Mate
I also made an account a few days ago, after winning the bet then I made a withdrawal and they said the same thing "multi account"
I answered the e-mail and said that I never made more than one account and asked them to provide proof
A few hours later they processed my withdrawal.

So in conclusion they will freeze all new accounts, but if you can prove that you don't have more than one account then the withdrawal will be processed.

https://imgur.com/X2KnSjt
They might be having this mentioned in their terms, but this is completely an unfair rule. Once after winning it is their money and here the fortunejack team should not try to control it. When the user tends to withdraw it needs to be processed. Requesting to prove that you don't have any other account is simply annoying. No gambling sites should do this, if their policy is to have one account the users should be requested to prove it prior to the betting.
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trust Wallet - Trustworthy? on: October 18, 2019, 12:28:33 PM
I am using Trust Waklet on my handphone. Basically it stores all my coins. But I wonder is it safe? What if my phone crash. What if I buy a new phone and need to transfer the wallet over? Is there any best practices for Trust Wallet. This is basically my entire fortune and I am trying to be as safe as possible

You can just use that 12 word (or how many it was on trust wallet) backup phrase to get recreate your wallet. Keep it (seed phrase) safe and you are all set. I've been using Trust wallet for a long time now and honestly, trust Binance on it. I mean they bought the wallet so they are trusting it.
Is that true, Binance has bought the Trust wallet. Already trust wallet has gained got good review from the users. It has took two years to gain trust from the users and now only it is getting to be more popular than the previous years. If the statement Binance has bought Trust wallet is true, the same serves providing added value/trust over the Trust Wallet.
793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 18, 2019, 09:44:34 AM
It is true that there are popular tournaments like the World Cup etc take place irregularly, but this makes the clashes between teams like India and Pakistan even more satisfying. Also, the India vs Pakistan match craze has decreased with time due to one sided wins by India from a long time.
It is true that the quality of Pakistan players are going down and they are finding it hard to find quality batsman, they always had talented bowlers but their batting is their main issue and they are not able to identify any quality players while India on the other hand is going through the best time in their cricketing history with a good bench strength

Am personally looking forward to the T-20 World Cup at around this time next year where we will get to watch these teams in action.
T20 is hard to predict and anyone can win but ODI and Test match India will dominate Pakistan.
Compared to the other leading teams of the table India seems quite strong in ODI and test cricket. The separate squad for both ODI and test cricket has got small changes, and if one fails to perform or take responsibility the same is being done by the player following. This is giving success for India over the past matches played. However there will be certain time period for each team to flourish, now it's the time of India in my view.
794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loan to buy Bitcoin? on: October 18, 2019, 08:23:49 AM
Perhaps a better idea would be to get the loan but instead of investing it all in one go of $20k market buy, you still do your dollar cost averaging but accelerated. This means, instead of buying $500 per month, maybe buy $1000 or more per month but still spread it out over several months.

If the price dips, you buy more. If the price goes up, well, that was the idea, but at least you risked less than if you put it all in. That would then be a gamble.

Of course, if you had asked this 5 years ago, everyone would think it's dumb, everyone would tell you it's dumb, all the replies on this thread would say you are crazy, but if you did do it anyway, your $20k would be $2m now.
At the moment, I would definitely take a loan for the purchase of Bitcoin for $ 6,000. I think that this price is justified, because the cost of its production is just in this price range. Let's hope that the price drops and many will be able to buy Bitcoin at a discount.
Already in this thread I stated my real life experience of taking loan and the suffering. Personally whatever the price might be, if you have something to back if unexpected market fluctuation happens then go for a loan. Because, in most cases people go for a loan emptying their pockets, so even small miscalculation make them suffer a lot in terms of financial protection.
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend in cryptocurrency? on: October 17, 2019, 04:16:25 AM
I'll lend bitcoin with terms and conditions. If I give one bitcoin, I will request respective collateral equal to that value of bitcoin. Further will be the ROI based on the time period required for returning the amount. Beyond this if the value has declined or increased while returning the fund needs to be returned in terms of USD equal to the time at which it was borrowed.
796  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crucial time for bitcoin! on: October 17, 2019, 03:22:23 AM
Bitcoin is still king of the cryptocurrency and it is much popular all over the world and has many uses for services. Even though the fee is very large but still reliable and less hassle since you just need to wait for the confirmation and the transaction is already on the blockchain.

And I think the value of Bitcoin will soar up in the future since it will lessen the miners since the difficulty and the rewards will behalves.
When the transaction increases the difficulty of the network increases. Now this is being overcome by the lightening network, earlier when a huge number of transactions takes place, one with the lowest fee gets stuck to the network for weeks. This is the time for a perfect way of taking further steps in using cryptocurrencies, it has crossed the crucial time. Now it's time for growth and widespread.
797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: October 17, 2019, 02:42:21 AM
I haven't been trading my bitcoins and cryptos since this year begins, but I have noticed that the hype train is slowing down since then, compared to last year. I want some honest opinion about the future outlook of BTC or crypto per se. Should investors invest in it ?

in europe alternative to crypto is either the nazi banking certals, the royal banking cartels or the EU communist banking cartel.

so i doubt we can do it in europe without crypto.
Same is the scenario throughout the other countries. This means the growth of bitcoin will continue with time than falling to the banking industry. There is need for technology backed services to meet the needs of common people, one out of the ten who have understood the technology believes in it and starts using it. This number will increase gradually.
798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: October 16, 2019, 02:46:32 PM
I have a friend who wins 15,000 pesos or $300 the first time keno games in an offline betting outlet, he is so happy and very ecstatic about his winnings, I congratulate him and ask him how long before he hit the jackpot, he told me that it took him 7 months and he is betting daily at 100  pesos or $3 so his losses are bigger than winnings.

But surprisingly he did not calculate his losses all he cares about is he finally wins, how about you do you remember your losses when you win a big amount and do you calculate your losses and ask if the winning is worth it?

This is why there are lots of gambling businesses. It's seems like a solid business model because it looks easy to profit from human nature. Personally, i like to calculate so when i win "big" i know it is never really big enough to cover the previous losses.

But i found that it's best to savor the wins, big or small, because in the end, i gamble just for fun.
I never believe the statement we gamble for fun. Just think of a gambling website that don't pay you, and you can play without spending as well. Will people use this gambling website for fun, almost 99% of the users are into gambling just to try their luck and for the easy money. Winning big needs a bigger wager, this isn't possible with every gamblers. Only the large volume holders of cryptocurrency can wager big and big win.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi think that quantum computers will exist? on: October 16, 2019, 01:53:57 PM
Satoshi might have predicted about the growth of technology over the years. Right now the first revolution of quantum computers have come to usage. To what extent this gonna get continued is unknown. Satoshi on realizing the growth only have made the network much strong years back. Even now it is strong that the bitcoin network can't be broken by the quantum computer that have been developed by Google.
800  Economy / Economics / Re: How cash is becoming a thing of the past | DW Documentary (Banking documentary) on: October 15, 2019, 09:56:18 PM
I think we'll eventually go cashless completely on the introduction of some sort of bio chip that contains all your details of your identity as well as allowing access to your stored funds, it will be used like a contactless bank card is now used except it will be an insert in to your forearm.
Actually, I absolutely do not want such a scenario. Biological chips, it would seem, on the one hand, will create additional convenience for people when making any transactions, but this will allow governments to almost completely control the activities of people. Better let it be ordinary paper money and our freedom, including financial and, in general, personal life. The Christian religion has long warned of such a development of events and calls such biochips a mark of the devil.
No one wants such a level of digitization. People are much comfortable with what is available, cryptocurrencies have begun to serve the community better without flaws. When everything gets into digitized environment there will be more risks of security vulnerabilities. This needs to be overcome with advanced technology and not with the extreme of chip injection. In India recently they've stopped printing their largest denomination of 2000 rupee currencies just to increase the digital payments. Likewise different strategies were followed on different countries which looks like an entry to cryptocurrency usage in the future.
