781  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: September 04, 2017, 02:53:19 AM
I just read on Btcjam blog that they are closing down: https://blog.btcjam.com/2017/05/25/btcjam-is-closing/, now I am just wondering if big players in thebitcoin industry are closing down, is there any future for bitcoin really.

I came to know about bitcoin through btcjam when i was introduced there to borrow. Eve in this forum, looks most signature campaigns might close down because of the ever rising price of bitcoin. Most of them have reduced their payout amounts for posting by more than 50%. Is this a good sign or a bad sign for the bitcoin development?

For me bitcoins is much popular now than before and that makes them much stronger today. It is hard for them to be killed or shut down because many people are using it. May people are investing in it so if that die a lot of people will complain about it. And besides the value of it is very high which caught of the attention of peoples even those who are not bitcoin enthusiasts. For me a much brighter future is ahead of them.
Agreed, bitcoin has a brighter future, especially now bitcoin is getting up a weeks from now for sure. The demand of the investors and users is really crazy, if you're gonna check the volume in the market. So, hold our bitcoin and hang on 10,000$ each BTC Wink
782  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My day trading plan on: September 04, 2017, 02:18:53 AM
that's sound good in the theory,
if you implement it in the reality you will know what is called 'Fear'.
and more likely you will trade with 'emotion' which mean it will lead you to get lose instead of win.
if you want to do that,at least make some preparation for the bad one.
for example if you buy it and down 5% what will you do ?

will you hold it or cut lose ? or something like that
You made smile in this explanation of yours mate Cheesy
But honestly speaking, for what you just said is true. He has a good plan, nice goal target, but it's not that easy to apply.
the way He express his plan was full of excitement, And I think He's not aware of trading with emotion, and called Fear when the price value instantly get crash.
783  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to learn how to trade on: September 04, 2017, 01:48:32 AM
I'm very thankful that I have a friends, friends who are there to help me in the bitcoin. They are the reason why this time I know how to trade, they guide me in the trading, they give me the site for the best exchanger then they advice me if this is the right time. Lately I have allot of token but I have no idea on how to become this a fiat, then they teach me the procedure and they explain it step by step. As a beginner it is not easy, the price is so unpredictable.
It's called very impressive history. In trading need have deep analysis over the bitcoin and try to learn from trading related articles, tutorials, etc. Overall, it's all about experience, good resources to learn Bitcoin trading and seed money.
wow! you are blessed you have a friend like Him, who is patiently  teaches you in this matter. Doing trade actually, it requires a experience first before you become a good one. You need to feed yourself through studying about it, watch you tube discussing about trading, and how to do technical analysis too.

785  Economy / Economics / Re: stable currency on: September 02, 2017, 05:50:51 AM
The biggest influence on price of Btc have selling and buying. When people buy Btc, the price rises, When people sell Btc, the price falls. Influence on price also have darknet sites such as an alphabay.
Buying and selling of bitcoin is the heart of this industry. Where all traders exist in bitcoin/crytpo world, If more buyers obviously it will get high however if sellers prevail it downfall the value of course. But since majority of the community now believed that bitcoin get high up to 10,000$ before end of this year, so the investors and users are intend to push it up to that projection that's most of the users of bitcoin are holding and keeping their holdings for now.
786  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: September 02, 2017, 05:25:48 AM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?
In my assessment on this, I do believed that bitcoin cannot lead people to corruption. Only the person has a capability to become corrupt now if ever He/She find out this  thing which is Bitcoin, that people can have an idea to use bitcoin a tool for them to corrupt to get something under the fund of the government.

788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: September 02, 2017, 04:11:57 AM
Do you gamble for fun or for profit?
It seems that most people in the forum, they do gamble for fun only then there are few gamblers doing it for profit. Well, for me it is one of my hobbies to play in the gambling sites only.

Would you kill your own children if God commanded you to?
A perfectly valid legit question.

Please no attempts to derail the thread with nonsense like "God would never say that" or "God would never change the rules with murder" etc....

Your question was same history in the bible during the time of Abraham, when God talked to Him and said to Abraham need to offer His own son as a living sacrifice. But Abraham didn't say anything when God said it to Him, instead He followed God without questioning him almighty.

791  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loss almost 40%, should stop trading or not ? on: September 01, 2017, 02:56:24 PM

792  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: August 29, 2017, 10:21:34 PM
My bank closed my account last year for no reason, and all money in my account was gone. I argued with the bank, even contacted the local government, no use. My bank just stated that "Pursuant to the CMA Disclosure and Agreement, 'THE BANK, at its discretion, may elect not to accept an account, terminate the account agreement and the account agreements of any related parties'. Both parties to the agreements have the right to end the relationship at any time and neither is obliged to provide a basis for such a decision to terminate". No single word explaing the termination was given to me. I contacted all banking lawyers online, and they were all representing the bank, not the customers. The money I lost can buy a new Mercedes. However, banks around the world now are too powerful. They are too big to fail. When you open an account in the United States, and probably also many other countries, you voluntarily give up the rights to sue the bank under their arbitrage clause. Even worse, they define the financial laws and enforce them. They can close your account, freeze and steal your property and evict you from your house. The more money you deposit into your bank account, the more you are helping the evil. I'm glad to see Bitcoin is changing all of these. Let banks die!
It is true that bank can close your account if you did violate something to their rules and policy. And thats not a good thing I saw with it. So, nice to hear you've found bitcoin as your alternative bank of your own.
793  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptocurrency Trading Strategies on: August 29, 2017, 02:42:33 AM
Nature of the Bitcoin Market
The first important thing you need to consider about Bitcoin are the people considering it as a currency. Definitely, people are considering that Bitcoin trading is possible from any point of the world.
At some extent traders are not considering Bitcoin as a currency but they are considering it as a financial commodity that might provide a return on investment.
Bitcoin completely removes the conventional currency operated at banking institutions. Hence Bitcoin process the transaction in transparent way so that it removes intermediate services with all their fees and slowdowns from the financial system.

794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How does everyone trade? on: August 29, 2017, 02:20:23 AM
To start,

1. Where do you buy your bitcoin from
2. What exchanges do you use
3. When you buy alt coins and profit, do you convert back to btc? Because what if your profit from alt coins and convert it to bitcoins but bitcoins is low, doesn't that defeat your alt coin profit?
4. Do you convert from bitcoin to usd to withdraw? If so where do you withdraw and which method do you use.

Oh and this sounds like fees over fees.
First you buy bitcoins for fee. Then transfer them to a exchange for a fee. Then trading on that exchange is a fee. Then transferring it another place to withdraw, then the actual withdraw fee.

1. Where do you buy your bitcoin from?
  -  I don't buy bitcoin instead I'm buying altcoins on trading then sometimes I bought coins in the ICO project campaign.
2. What exchanges do you use?
  -  I usually used bittrex.com, etherdelta, poloniex, hitbtc, and novaexchange.
3. When you buy alt coins and profit, do you convert back to btc?
  -  Yes, that's what most traders do.
4. doesn't that defeat your alt coin profit?
  -  of course not.
5. Do you convert from bitcoin to usd to withdraw?
  -  I converted my Bitcoin to my currency here in my country through merchant we had it in here who accepted bitcoin as payment then
     encashing it through remittances.

796  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the price determined for a decentralized currency like bitcoin? on: August 28, 2017, 01:18:03 PM
It is difficult to reach an answer that does not lead to a simple balance of supply and demand, and I think there is not much mystery. Price is what people pay for it. Unless you choose to believe that the price is controlled by manipulators and trading bots.
Now that’s where most of the people get it wrong. People say that only Bitcoin is volatile, forgetting that whatever that is called currency is volatile being compared to a different currency. Take for example, the USD and Euro, when being monitored, you will notice that sometimes the rate for dollars increases, and sometimes it goes down, so tell me why dollar is not volatile.

Everything called currency is volatile, whether you believe or not. Now for how the price of Bitcoin is determined: I think how it is determined is by calculated how much that is being invested into it. The same policy that is being used for fiat is also used for Bitcoin.

I will Support you on this things Sir to your statement. I agreed that all physical money are volatile because our currency here in my country sometimes falling then recover again this was happened depending on the value of dollar. But it is not that past as bitcoin does have. Because bitcoin volatility as we all know was very aggressive depending in the demand of the community and investors as well. Only there differences was physical money is centralized and bitcoin is decentralized.

What is the obstacles, challenges and problems that Bitcoin can face it in 5 years? How we can help Bitcoin to take more authoritative place in the world of currency system?
I don't see any problems that bitcoin can face. It will be the same thing like what happened in the past few years, only the difference was bitcoin for sure 5 years from now the value could be 30,000$ to 50,000$ each bitcoinBTC.
