satoshi has plenty of known addresses, but you can sign a pgp message as well.
7802  Other / Off-topic / Re: New Itunes is so sloooow. on: November 05, 2014, 03:24:16 PM
Don't use iTunes or iPhones. iTunes has always been ridiculously slow whenever I've used it. When my battered iPhone 3 breaks I won't be going back.
7803  Economy / Goods / Cex / Computer Exchange credit note £143.86 for £120 in BTC. on: November 05, 2014, 09:42:19 AM
https://uk.webuy.com/

Anyone interested in a credit note for Cex / Computer Exchange? It's a physical voucher and can be spent at any of their stores throughout the UK, but I could also either send you the code digitally so you can buy anything from their website or I can order something myself and have it shipped directly to you. Can offer a small discount. The value is for £143.86 and am looking for £120 in BTC or LTC.

I've also got a load of blu-rays that I might trade in totaling about £170 credit, so if you wanted more I could possibly do a deal with that as well.

Thanks.

Probably not, but I am quite amazed TBH to see he/she don't mind at all revealing the relationships between these accounts by using so similar account names and making 4 posts within just a few minutes. Cheesy

Most of them were already publicly known to be his anyway, but it is amusing.

You know you're doing something right when you get a tribute account with your username in  Grin. I now join the esteemed ranks of vod and Badbear.

Hey with a little more work, you might even get your first death threat!

Haha. And then the next level of butthurt which is the false unbacked accusations of paedophilia  Grin.

Now who is the next one? I see mprep as a hot favourite lol. Smiley

Yeah, but he's already had his fair share of threads created in his honour  Cheesy.

On a side note, just noticed there's a user called CoAndHilarious that made a few posts a while back  Cheesy.
7808  Other / Meta / Re: Banned users shouldn't be able to leave feedback on: November 04, 2014, 10:19:18 PM
Their trust doesn't suddenly disappear once they get banned, they just can't leave anymore once they are.
7809  Other / New forum software / Re: Old usernames which are inactive on: November 04, 2014, 07:14:08 PM
But you made posts and that's the crucial element. If it was just 6/12 months of inactivity then satoshi's account would be wiped plus many other once prominent members. People who have made at least 1 post should probably be kept.

Real Madrid 4 v Liverpool 1

Real Madrid should get a few at least I think.

7811  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: November 04, 2014, 05:08:42 PM
Some will be run by the same people and at least one has been exposed before. Most of the HYIP or Dicesite scammers will just create a new one once it collapses and what better way to promote it with any free signature advertising they can get.

This is probably super basic, but what is HYIP?

GIYF. High Yield Investment Program aka a scam.
7812  Other / New forum software / Re: Old usernames which are inactive on: November 04, 2014, 04:49:44 PM
Bagsy got satoshi  Grin. What/when would be the cut off of someone being inactive?  I think maybe those who never posted and have also been inactive for over a year maybe should be wiped, but not sure about just 'inactive' accounts over X amount of time.
7813  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: SELLING BITCOINTALK ACCOUNTS on: November 04, 2014, 04:43:29 PM
how to ensure that my account is not sending negative feedback when to buy it

You can't 100% guarantee it but most people don't seem to leave negative on accounts bought and sold now unless they look like they might be involved in shady behavior (and that's assuming someone even realises it's a bought account). If you keep the sale between buyer and seller or at the most a trusted escrow you should be fine.
7814  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: November 04, 2014, 04:40:59 PM
Who do you think the manager that will fit Man U.. I think Van Gaal will be sacked soon. Maybe Pep?

Constantly sacking managers isn't going to do them any good. It's the team that's the problem. Whoever they get isn't going to magically transform the squad and if they can't win with Gaal then I can't see why they would do any better with anyone else.
7815  Economy / Goods / Re: ★ Vaporizers ★ Cannabis Seeds ★ Smoking Accessories ★ Botanical Herbs ★ on: November 04, 2014, 04:32:26 PM
Is this legal to sell here?

Yep, as long as the seeds or items are not shipped to anywhere where they're illegal you can sell them here. Cannabis seeds are actually legal in many places around the world. Like he mentioned above, seeds are legal in the UK, but it's illegal to actually cultivate them.
7816  Other / Meta / Re: Banned users shouldn't be able to leave feedback on: November 04, 2014, 04:26:57 PM
How about banned users should show "banned" on their profile? It would help clear things up. So, when users see a member is banned, they can disregard the negative trusts he gave.

Agreed. I think there should be some sort of distinction shown between temp and perma as well.

That was already supposed to have been the case, but it wasn't working. I fixed it.

Yeah, assumed it wasn't allowed on purpose. Thanks.

Two of the three unjust negatives I've received from people have been from users who have been butthurt after being permanently banned. Just got another from ladybitcoin aka MoneyGod/waqas/ReBoRn/faiza1990/saif92 + many more. If you can't post or send messages whilst banned you shouldn't be able to leave feedback either.
Damn, I had some of them in my campaign. Now I know why they all disappeared at the same time.  Wink

Grin I'm really surprised no one else seemed to notice they were all the same person. He's got a really distinct semi-coherent shitposting style and something else that blatantly gives his alts away every time. Wont say what it is cos I know he'll keep coming back  Cheesy.
7817  Other / Meta / Re: Who are the most trustworthy Bitcointalk users? on: November 04, 2014, 10:40:41 AM

Really? If satoshi came back today and asked you for a loan would you give him it?

why should he ask a loan?  This is insane...

Because he's trustworthy according to you, so why wouldn't you loan him it if he gave you a believable story? Maybe he doesn't have access to his coins anymore or is in legal trouble or in danger etc.

Trustworthy doesn't mean : give him a loan.  I think satoshi is the most trustworthy user here in the forum , because without him bitcoin would never have existed.

Can I ask you : What is for you the most trustworthy user here in the forum ?

So he's the most trustworthy user, yet you wouldn't trust him? Your logic doesn't make sense. In what capacity do you trust him and why is he trustworthy? Satoshi is just a name; a name of someone who has been Mia for years. Satoshi could be one of many people so how do you know there isn't a trustworthy member among them?

I trust him , but  :

why should he ask a loan?  This is insane...

I told you this request is insane , you can trust a person without spend 1 cent Wink.

Ps: the thread question is : "Who are the most trustworthy Bitcointalk users?"

Trust him with what though? Thin air? In what capacity is the name satoshi trustable currently? It seems like you wouldn't trust him at all. And I'm aware of what the thread is called, but he's not really a bitcointalk user currently, so what would you trust him with? Money? Your identity? Your life? The only thing that would be insane here is trusting 'satoshi', but you haven't clarified in what capacity you would in fact trust him or why he is the most trustworthy here.

7820  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-11-03] Richard Branson calls for tougher Bitcoin rules on: November 04, 2014, 07:59:58 AM
Guess he doesn't want us flying on his spaceship then. Wanker.

Did you read the article? I don't think him wanting regulations is a bad thing. I think he just wants it to be seen as a legitimate and useable currency, and if we want bitcoin to go mainstream it is going to be regulated and taxed at some point whether we like it or not.

Quote
Sir Richard is understood to have pumped around $US30 million ($34 million) into Bitcoin ventures to date. Over $3 billion was poured into technology start ups and entrepreneurs last year alone, and the figure is expected to grow to $8  billion by 2018.

Branson is definitely someone we'd want on our side. If he accepted it for all his businesses it would be huge for bitcoin.
