7821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your most weird betting experience? on: July 06, 2019, 01:55:37 AM
Maybe this is not a weird for some but for me it is.

I tried to gamble in a particular gambling site. I tried to bet on NBA and bet all of my money that I deposited. Unfortunately, I lost all of my money on it but when I see my balance I saw that there are some coins in my dashboard. I know that all of my bets was lost but out of nowhere, there is a balance in my dashboard. Maybe there are some bugs on that site or JUST LUCKY Cheesy.
7822  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] LiveCoin Signature Campaign | Hero/Legendary Members | Up to 0.02BTC/Week on: July 06, 2019, 01:52:38 AM
I agree with pandabear, there is a lot of merit farming/trading going on in local boards.  Just because that person got 200+ merit doesn't mean they are a quality poster.
Okay lets say that a merit farmer has joined the campaign. Can you do anything on it?? You're not the campaign manager and he has the right to pick the participants that can join in the campaign. You don't have the right to complain here.
7823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: July 06, 2019, 01:46:04 AM
Giving your personal information to a site which is not government regulated is dangerous because they can be hackers and they can do anything to your information. You can give your information if they are government regulated but since crypto isn't regulated at this moment, crypto gambling sites that requires KYC is a red flag for me.
7824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 06, 2019, 01:42:37 AM
Still no news about Kawhi.

I read on some page that today is the day. We should be hearing his decision soon. Many are expecting him to join the Lakers but they did something that Kahwi might not like. With that said, I think he's not gonna wear that purple and gold.
The rumors are there though it's not yet official that he's about to stay with Raptors until 2020 though there's another rumor that he's going on Lakers.

https://www.ibtimes.com/nba-rumors-kawhi-leonard-could-stay-raptors-until-2020-2804493

A rumor will always be a rumor but I'm still waiting for the official decision of Kawhi Saga Part 2.

The chances of joining in the Lakers is higher compare to the Raptors but still, we don't know what is on his mind right now. Let the media hype continue until the next few weeks maybe.

If he will stays on Toronto, they have the chances to get a championship again but if he will go on the Lakers be ready Western Conference Cheesy.
7825  Other / Meta / Re: [WARNING for Newbies] Watch out for fake Bitcointalk when using Search Engine on: July 05, 2019, 10:19:10 AM
When I search on Google, I often see that site bitcointalk.to but shame on them.

I only log in my account into one device only and whenever I login to the forum, it automatically logged in. If you are browsing that phishing site, it will direct you to the login section where you need to put your user and pass again which is a bit weird for me and I checked the site and found out that it is a fake site.

I think the best way for this problem is just check the site you are browsing.
7826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From Janitor to Millionaire on: July 05, 2019, 04:10:52 AM
Yes right he was just lucky and to win from the lottery you certainly need to have a big luck beside you, there's people who don't expect things like this but just hoping to win and this man is one of those who been given a chance to win and now to enjoy the lucky earnings to what extent he wants.
I think its the right time for him to win on that lottery. What a lucky man indeed.

Many people everyday are betting in the lottery hoping that they will win and this man just won millions of dollars. A life changing event for him.

I don’t believe in superficial or celestial thing, there is no such thing as celestial involvement the guy is just lucky that he won the jackpot. It is inspiring to know that someone with this status in life was lucky to win the jackpot and that he spend it wisely unlike other who spend it lavishly until nothing left.
I don't believe on that too. If you are destined to win then you will and vice versa. No celestial things or whatever. It is inspiring yes but don't take it as an inspiration and you will spend all of your money in lottery hoping that you will win too like what happened to the janitor.
7827  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't FOMO in if you don't have what it takes - PATIENCE! on: July 05, 2019, 03:25:32 AM
One of my friends bought BTC when it reached $13.5k (yes, he FOMO'd in at very high rate).

After that, BTC crossed $13950 and almost reached $14k (though it didn't touch there) and that was his target but missed by some bucks.

And here comes the dump which shot down BTC to $9800 (yesterday) and he just lost his patience and sold off everything (what a chaotic loss of more than 30%) and it was actually predicted - https://www.ccn.com/opinion/day-trader-warns-of-impending-40-bitcoin-price-drop/2019/06/28/

I told him about this and asked him to wait but he sold off everything without letting me know. Now, he's regretting for his wrong decisions. I'd suggest you to think at least 10 times before investing because if you don't have the appetite to hold on during your losses, trust me you don't deserve a f**k in profits. Patience is the key and it pays off, it is actually paying off those who bought during 2017-18 highs but held their investments without touching it.
Well, your friend doesn't have any patience and that is his fault.

I think your friend doesn't know how to do TA. If he doesn't know then he must watch some youtube videos that is sharing their analysis. I have watched some of them that is why I know that a correction will happen anytime. Your friend now learned a lesson at least. He knows what he will do next time he invests his money again.
7828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 05, 2019, 03:22:41 AM
If any other team got Durant and Kyrie together they would have been championship contender whereas nets manage to be at best second round team with them.

That is not just that.

It is a good boost to the confidence of this players.
They got 2 of the best players in the NBA and even though Durant is not playing for this year Kyrie will give a lot of impact for the team.
Brooklyn Nets for this year will be a Kyrie show.

Let us not forget also the winner of the 3 point contest. Joe Harris.
If he can give a lot of space for Kyrie to penetrate the paint (which he is good at) then it will be an easy offense for them.
I am just intrigued on how good their plays will be with their new additions.
Now that Russell who is their all star player has been traded, can Kyrie cover up what he did last season?
Yes Durant will not play this season and it will be focused on Kyrie but can he do it all by himself?
His teammates must step up next season if they want to be a playoff contender team. If they can clinch to the playoffs next season without KD, I'm sure they will be a lost stronger when he plays again.
7829  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Binance the Best Exchange for Crypto trading? on: July 04, 2019, 11:22:56 PM
I don't want to say it is the best but rather "One of the best" exchanges in crypto trading.

For me, this is one of the best exchanges but the coins that are listed here is limited. There are other coins that are listed on Binance but not on other exchanges and vice versa so I suggest you need to have an account on 3-4 exchanges so that if you need to buy a coin, you can just buy it in any exchange. You can do arbitrage trading too if you are a professional trader.
7830  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make an effective crypto portfolio? on: July 04, 2019, 11:21:04 PM
I saw your portfolio and I'm a bit surprised that you don't have Bitcoin in your portfolio.

Don't you know that Bitcoin outperformed all of the altcoins in the past weeks and it increased its dominance. If you only put a huge percentage of your capital in Bitcoin the you are in a larger profit right now compare to what you are holding right now. Anyway, in the long run you can get profits on ETH and LTC. No idea on the other one coin which just came in the coinmarketcap out of nowhere. I suggest you hold other coins (diversification).
7831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Faketoshi aka Craig Wright seems goes straight to jail :D on: July 04, 2019, 11:16:28 PM
To be honest, I'm really tired of reading threads like this. CSW is not Satoshi but is Faketoshi-t.

If he really goes to the jail for stealing Bitcoins then he can just give money and bail out but base on the post of the OP, no Bitcoins were stolen so in short this is a CLICKBAIT!!! Cheesy.
7832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can shit coin be the best coin if the project and product is real ? on: July 04, 2019, 11:03:39 PM
as we know now, many new coins listed on exchange and the price immediately down very much, so many investors are disappointed and regret having invested in coin because coin have become shit coin even though the project and product of coin are still running, but will one day the price of coin can increase very high and even exceed the ICO price if the project and product is real and useful in the future or still does not affect for the price of coin and coin still become shit coin ?
What are your basis in considering a coin a "shitcoin"??

For me, I don't consider it a shit coin as long as the project is under development. Aside from that, as long as the community is still active and the team is still active then it is not considered as a shit coin. Price decrease doesn't mean that it is a shit coin already because its price depends on the buyers and sellers. If the project is still running even the price is low then it can be one of the best in the long run.
7833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: July 04, 2019, 10:53:20 PM
At least 1 hour a day when I am in the train going to work and mostly 1 hour every night.
I think we are spending both the same hours in gambling.

I don't want to spend too much time in gambling because I don't want to spend too much money and time on it. At this moment, I'm not gambling because of lack of money and some personal reasons.
7834  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bounty alone is not enough to promote a project on: July 04, 2019, 10:48:40 PM
I think bounty campaigns are just one of the ways the team is doing to advertise their project.

Aside from bounty campaigns, they are advertising their projects too in Facebook thru paid ads, twitter and different social medias. Some of the projects too attend in different meetings to promote their project an attract more investors.
7835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for bitcoin holders, after falling price now Bitcoin Surges above 12% on: July 04, 2019, 10:43:04 PM

After the bearish trend, Bitcoin (BTC) is trying to gain back the momentum from the recent low of $9,657.

On June 3rd, the bitcoin price has gained more than 12% of its value in recent 24 hours, which is the best result out of top-20 coins.

According to 7-day chart, BTC is still down nearly 8% as the market is rocked by high volatility.
I don't think you can call it "Bearish trend" but rather I call it "Healthy correction" and another chance for the buyers to accumulate more Bitcoin.

For me, what happened is just a healthy correction and Bitcoin needs it because it will be more risky to enter the market if Bitcoin continues to rise at that moment. The investors needed that correction so that they can buy but I wish I could buy some too Sad .
7836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FreeBitco.in Auto Free Roll Collector on: July 04, 2019, 06:23:20 AM
We put together a script that collects the hourly free bitcoin roll for you without you having to do a thing.  All you need to do is go to the "free btc"tab and click "Play without Captcha", install a browser extension and install the script. A full page with installation instructions can be found here.

Risking my personal information that is stored in my laptop for the sake of a few cents is bullshit. I will not download this extension because it might have a malware inside of it.
7837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Beware of ieo exchanges on: July 04, 2019, 06:18:23 AM
It is becoming a trend recently where an exchange will lie about amount raised during ieo
Only for the token to dump 10x below ieo price

Typical examples are evident on bittrex, kucoin, idax and other exchanges known to us
There is need to even research more on the exchanges as the project
Launching an token sale on an exchange (IEO) doesn't mean that the token will not be dumped.

You will not remove the fact that as a token is listed on an exchange, the price of it will immediately plummet because investors and the team will sell their tokens to get profit. IEO just reduces the chances of being scammed and that's it.
7838  Other / Meta / Re: Open appreciation, achievement of Hero rank on: July 04, 2019, 06:15:34 AM
We get enough of these posts, did you really need to brag about obtaining a forum rank?
I don't think that this is a bragging post made by the OP. This is an appreciation post and at the same time, an inspiration post for other members out there who wants a higher rank.

I often forget that merit is even thing, don't even pay attention to it usually.  Just encourages people to play favorites.
I don't even care too even if I have a high merit or not as long as I CAN WEAR AN AVATAR!!!! although there are times that it comes to my mind that I need to get some merit blah blah.
7839  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies should be careful when using ICO rating websites on: July 04, 2019, 06:09:46 AM
Many of these ICO rating websites are getting paid by these different ICO's to have a higher ratings.

Higher money to pay = higher rating so as an investor, don't base it on these ICO rating websites because even they have a high rating on the sites there will still be a chance that they will become a scam or dead token. DYOR when it comes to investing in ICO's.
