I might speculate that some of his posts are on some hidden forum section (mod section, or donator section - even though he is neither of these)

They're not.

What about posts that are moved to moderator/admin read only sections?

Such as trashcan or other moderator/admin exclusive forums. Thus the post still exists but can't be read by anyone who doesn't have the pre requisite authority.

You lose them, but as above they're not there either when I view his posts, so he was probably nuked and it just didn't update for whatever reason.

7843  Other / Off-topic / Re: Question regarding security of printing/writing a text file on: November 02, 2014, 09:28:29 AM
Your printer is the weakest link here. Some of them apparently store printed files or can be hacked so you need to make sure that is safe or not connected to the net. This is why I don't trust paper wallets as an ideal cold storage option. Any file that has been created digitally and then also printed is gonna make me paranoid as to whether it is 100% safe.

Why don't you just write them down manually, or if you must print them out don't print the full passwords but clues to them or obfuscate them slightly? Depends how complex they are. Ie if your password for this account was password1989 just write p19 or something. Obviously don't use something as simple as that though. Also remember that if other people find your list they could use them as well.
7844  Other / Meta / Re: Does post count have to be equal or higher than activity on: November 02, 2014, 09:13:27 AM
The user will have probably been nuked which deletes all their posts and usually activity after the activity update every hour but hasn't for some reason. Maybe just a glitch.
7845  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: November 02, 2014, 09:07:47 AM
Not Tursday but next.

That could be interpreted as Thursday as well as Tuesday.  Tongue

Haha You're right. Looks like how the Irish might pronounce Thursday  Grin. I corrected it.

7847  Other / Meta / Re: What Can I do When a famous member is threatening me because I gonna Competition on: October 31, 2014, 02:55:39 PM
I cant show proof, since he came on my teamspeak and threatened me on there, but you will see it as soon as i go Live with my site that I'll suddently have negative feedback from him

Well didn't you get a screenshot or is there logs, or is Teamspeak voice only?

This is blackmail so you could open a scam accusation against him and post the evidence. Is he on default trust? If not his feedback won't matter that much. If it's true what you say he will likely get negative feedback from trusted members of the community.
He has over 14 green trust

Having green trust doesn't necessarily mean you're on default trust.
7848  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: New to bitcoin looking to buy small amount by paypal on: October 31, 2014, 07:08:36 AM
I think (not sure) that if you immediately withdraw money (so he sent 0.1 to gain time) the buyer can't chargeback

Your account will just become in the red and minus the amount that was chargebacked. You could maybe use a throw-away account and then quickly send the money to another then withdraw it, maybe that would work.
7849  Other / Meta / Re: TIL Activity does not work on precisely 2 week intervals + interval timings on: October 31, 2014, 06:57:17 AM

How to calculate when is the next two week period? If my  Date of Registered is October 14.And my Activity is 7 now.Since Oct14,I'm totally online for 6 hours. What should I do to get rid of Newbie rank title as soon as possible?

Read the first post in this thread. The periods are fixed regardless of sign up date. The next period starts on November 11th 2014 and then every two weeks after that. You'll become a Jnr Member when you get 30 activity.
7850  Other / Meta / Re: TIL Activity does not work on precisely 2 week intervals + interval timings on: October 31, 2014, 06:40:01 AM
My activity didn't update too.

Lulwut are you talking about? It's updating with every post you make. How many activity do you think you should have? You won't get the full 14 points until you make the 14 posts.

If I'm online only two days during two weeks, and in this two days I post 14.Can I get 14 activity?

Yes. You could get 14 activity if you made 14 posts. You could also just make one post and then make the 13 posts at a later date to collect the rest.

Quote
And then should I need to be online until it's enough online 2 week, then I can get my next two week's 14 activity?

Not 100% sure what you mean but you would have to wait for the start of the next two week period to get another 14 points.
7851  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: October 31, 2014, 06:22:42 AM
Just search activity in Meta and you'll get lots of explanations. You can get a max of 14 activity points every two week period and you need to make 14 posts to get them. However, you only need to make at least one post in the fortnight period and then you can collect all the missing points at a later date by making the required anount of posts.

Yes, avoid his MESS at all costs. Nobody is going to use your service and if you're going to try make a shitty pun at least do it right  Roll Eyes.

Do you need a Chromebook or a new computer? If not, save your money.

hodl, never sell at a loss.

Exactly. Plus, I'm sure bitcoin will be worth much more in the near future than it is now, so just save the 5btc instead of getting rid of it at such a low.

7857  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about invesment on: October 31, 2014, 05:07:17 AM
You sound ripe for getting scammed by a ponzi or something. The best way tol invest your btc would be to hold it, though I'm not sure how much you could've gotten from faucets. If you send your money to a HYIP you're very likely to lose it so I'd avoid any too good to be true investments.
7858  Other / Meta / Re: Spammathon: Brought to you by Candystripes on: October 30, 2014, 04:25:54 PM
I didn't and now can't see the posts and unless it has been brought to the attention of Badbear then they're unlikely to get banned. I'm sure he will if he already hasn't looked into it.
7859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Giveaway threads are not allowed on: October 30, 2014, 01:33:45 PM
Maybe you can consider to add giveaway section. So that you can avoid confusion.Forum members will increase. Smiley

I mean, add a special area for giveaway.

It's been requested before. You can make a thread about it in Meta if you wish but it's unlikely to happen.
7860  Economy / Services / Re: How do you refund your BitCoin/LiteCoin? My Escrow Service for LiteCoin, BitCoin on: October 30, 2014, 10:55:23 AM
1) Keyword a trusted third party. You're not a trusted third party. Might as well just take the risk and send to a random person on this forum which is what they are doing with you. Someone with one feedback is essentially more trusted than you.

2.1) You get feedback first, otherwise this is completely pointless and defeats the purpose. How are you qualified or to be trusted to hold on to even small amounts of bitcoin let alone the ridiculous amounts you are proposing?

2.2) Operational expenses being? Other trusted escrows do this for free or optional tips, why would anyone use you?

3) People generally don't want to give out personal information such as email addresses unless it is necessary, which it isn't unless specifically requested by one of the parties doing the trade. You're the first person I've seen who makes this requirement.

3.2). No it isn't. Nobody is going to send you one million dollars in bitcoin, so it just makes you look foolish and like a scammer hoping someone will take advantage of the lower fees the bigger the payment.
