If some of you are interested, these are some of the places I went to today.

Little India and its temples

Hey, I remember that place. There was a huge pile of shoes outside at the time as service was in session. I stayed at a hotel in Chinatown just around the corner. Was there for New Year's Eve 2 years ago. My plane landed around 10 PM, searched for a club or bar that didn't have a cover charge, ended up going into an Indian bar and got roaring drunk right before midnight. Those guys know how to party.

I remember standing behind a statue of what appeared to be Mola Ram as the rain came down hard during the fireworks.

Its a cool place. The people were super friendly, and perhaps best of all, they all spoke English.
7842  Other / Meta / Re: Grant Me Legendary Status on: March 29, 2019, 10:33:34 AM
Yeah, it's pretty painful for some to see a Legendary with 2 earned merit over 20k posts and a Hero with 100 times more still being a Hero but maybe times will change and finally, Theymos will introduce merit decay for the airdropped merit.

Till then, wait and don't give up.

Ranking up has always been activity dependent, no reason to do away with that now. A user can lose their rank if a lot of their comments, and therefore activity, is deleted.

Here's a famous example:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=126291

1000 merits and 13 activity, lol.

You're probably one of the unlucky ones who got screwed by not becoming a Legendary before the Merit system began, but you're almost there!

Dear Fratoshi, as stated on our terms and conditions:

As a condition of your use of the Platform, you represent and warrant to, and covenant with TradeSatoshi that: (a) you have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence; (b) you possess the legal authority to create a binding legal obligation; (c) you shall use the Platform in accordance with these Terms of Use and all applicable laws; and (d) all information supplied by you on the Platform is true, accurate, current and complete.

Quote
All users agree to register trough http://tradesatoshi.com and agree with the terms and conditions, all users agree to provide their real name, email address and password.

Where does it say in your Terms and Conditions that you can keep customer deposits for not wanting to provide you with KYC information that you initially did not require for low-tier traders? I don't care that you only make about $68 a day in trading fees, that's not a valid excuse for cheating your customers out of their funds by thinking you can catch them with this KYC trick.
7844  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Tradesatoshi - BEWARE! Blocking without reasons. on: March 29, 2019, 09:27:13 AM
with the fact that "TS"...imho =TRUE SHIT

they have started from March 24 2019 dropping their withdrawal fee to     0.25 sat/WU - 1 sat/B
this is creating a huge gain in the mempool of unconfirmed transactions
plus they are double spending the unconfirmed transactions so while everyone waits, they will be sitting and regaining the funds as the transactions never get confirmed and dropped by the network
all unconfirmed and dropped transactions return the amounts back to the original holder.... TS
but ....
alas....
there is a way to screw them in part.....

by retransmitting the transaction that is unconfirmed
it will not let the transaction die and will hold accountable the originating senders.
to do this there are many transaction accelerators for free.
a few of them even have issues simply because the fee is way too low but a few of the free accelerators will send and retransmit the trxid and keep alive in mempool
so if everyone would start doing this like 2 times a day they would eventually run out of available cash and chock on their own behalf

https://bitaccelerate.com/      Works GREAT

https://freebtcaccelerator.com/#tools       works

https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/      has issues at times with low fee

i would love to see them chock on their own tainted practices

This is interesting... can you give us some transactions or addresses where this happened?

I did see the screenshot where they were using a 1 sat/byte fee, and that transaction was confirmed. However, this next transaction was broadcast 2.5 days ago and is still unconfirmed. If it gets replaced by another transaction then we'll know you are on to something.
7845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The FREE Coin, the first cryptocurrency for global cryptocurrency usage on: March 29, 2019, 09:15:13 AM
it is less than 0.000000001 eth in most of markets  means 1miliard= 1 eth . the price on the cheaper markets will rise and achieve to 0.00000001 eth soon and all the prices will equal in different markets.
i lost my money on yoke, prx, roco, zarko & .....  and they support team banned me. but freecoin team reply me and help me several times.  i had 7 succesful trade on this coin. its price had rise from its beginning until now. i love this coin and hold it until it get 1 cent or more .
this is good coin and will list on binance coin soon.if it doesnt list in binance it has enough market for buying and selling. more than 6600 wallet and 23 exchange  supports this coin. it has the most transaction speed such as xrp. all my transaction has done less than 10 seconds by freecoin.

OK... well you are free to lose your money how you choose. Just don't hold your breath waiting for Binance.
7846  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BiteBTC is a scam exchange on: March 29, 2019, 08:39:23 AM
BiteBTC set to launch their own exchange token soon
Smart Contract: 0xfd53cA7338C732f33E6de1b983Ef04dB49fbeA91

Total Supply: 920,000,000

Incredible. I can't believe they are scamming people left and right, nobody has the power to intervene, and now they are doing another money grab...

How did you find out about this?

According to CMC they are the 38th biggest exchange -- they do have a warning up about BiteBTC with-holding customer deposits... they need an additional one about withdrawals.

There's also another Telegram people can join, this one has almost 100 people:

7847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The FREE Coin, the first cryptocurrency for global cryptocurrency usage on: March 29, 2019, 07:48:37 AM
this is not eth or btc that you call so many coin!! it is freecoin with the low price. no one had less than 1 miliard of this coin.the exchanges dont aloow withdraw less than 100 milion of this coin.  1 miliard free coin=1 eth  . this means only 4000 people can have 1 miliard free coin or  one eth!!! the number of coin is very low against its price. after listing on binance it will grow and got 5-10 satoshi in 2019. its value will unfolded in 2021 and afterwards. it will get 1$ in 2024.

Your math is wrong. 1 "miliard" = 1 billion = closer to 2 ETH.

If an exchange is charging you $38.90 (100 million FREE) for a withdrawal, you're getting ripped off.

At 8.7 TRILLION coins in circulation, the number of tokens in supply is THE HIGHEST of any coin!

Why on earth would Binance list this crap?

It will not reach a market cap of $8.7 trillion ever. I did the math and Ben expects it to surpass the ETH market cap by several fold, which is, plainly stated, ridiculous.
7848  Other / Meta / Re: Community Opinion - Signature Campaigns on: March 28, 2019, 06:22:56 PM
I think it's less offensive than gambling myself. Most people look at porn at some point. They're going to do it whatever. They may as well do it through here rather than anywhere else as long as it's all consenting stuff.

Porn's pretty much universal. Gambling isn't. By advertising it all you're doing is enticing someone to wiggle their willy around for a bit rather than drain junior's college fund and make everyone homeless in search of a win.

I think they're both depressing as fuck in the main but at least porn carries less risk for total ruin.

LOL (real life LOL). You bring up a good point. I think most people gamble at some point... even if its just a card game with friends or Bingo at the church or something. Porn can be addictive but the most ruining its probably going to do is a chair cushion or something.

I dunno, different people have different values... Some people might think one is OK but the other is satan. Not Mormons though, they hate both of those things. And caffeine.

Also, investing (what many people here do) is a lot more like gambling than porn, so the forum draws a lot of people with gambler-type mindsets.

Edit: Now that I think of it, these signature adds can't contain realistic pictures, right? Maybe this is nothing to be afraid of but to embrace.

It would be even more pixelated than Leisure Suit Larry.
7849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 28, 2019, 06:13:45 PM
Let's just hope C-hunter doesn't migrate over to this thread. I'm sure he will find our merit cycle here quite unpalatable. When it comes to merit cycling, we do it best around here.

Oh god, that would be a disaster only mitigatable by infofront intervention. That's why I didn't spell the whole name, they might have one of those maggiodormo alert bots.
7850  Other / Meta / Re: Grant Me Legendary Status on: March 28, 2019, 05:37:54 PM
Do something for your Merits you want  !

He's doing just that but getting unnoticed,  as the baords he's active in is on ignore by almost all reputed members and merit sources on the forum. Search through he's post history and you'll see that he deserve some credit might not be as much as ranking him up but he do deserve something.

I don't have them on ignore, but yeah, most merit sources consider them to be cesspools of toxic sludge, because they are. Its really hard to wade through hundreds or thousands of bounty shitposts and nonsense to find something worth meriting. Hence, nobody visits them.

I make it a point to spend at least 5 merits a month or so there, but OP has to understand there's a lot of valid reasons why we don't go there.
7851  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 28, 2019, 04:25:30 PM
i think shitcoinery is more dangerous than the "blockchain, not bitcoin" idiots. the latter burn corporate funds and going nowhere, but shitcoins are eating the bitcoiners cake (aka invested money) and the fool masses of people into their scams. the scammed people will not adopt btc, they will hate crypto forever and think btc is the same.
i really wonder how much fresh money invested into crypto moves into shitcoins.

I have 2 thoughts on this, maybe it takes away from BTC holders but maybe it stops retards from becoming sour BTC losers as they lose it all on shitcoins and were never in it for the right reasons to begin with.

Don't paint me as a shitcoin defender but the market is big enough for more than just bitcoin. The altcoin fad will never die out. A lot of the shitty coins I held in 2014-15 are worthless now, but the cycle didn't end, they were just replaced with newer, fancier coins. Some of them are copycats riding the wave and the market will suss them out. Others will find niches, loyal user bases and stick around for a while.
7852  Other / Meta / Re: Community Opinion - Signature Campaigns on: March 28, 2019, 03:59:46 PM
I think its OK but I if I was wearing a porn sig I think people would take what I have to say even less seriously than they already do... I can imagine it going something along the lines of:

Me: Craig Wright is a fraud. There's no way he's Satoshi, man. How can you guys believe that stuff? Plus that Calvin Ayre guy is pretty creepy.

Them: Yeah well at least we're not advertising porn in our signature space.

------

Probably just gonna stick with Bit Blender.
7853  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Tradesatoshi - BEWARE! Blocking without reasons. on: March 28, 2019, 02:31:20 PM
Oh, how do you like the looks of this, 3 of the most vocal accounts defending Trade Satoshi all "woke up" recently to ridicule people who got locked out of their exchange. They also all reply to comments by typing above the quoted text, which as I mentioned early, almost nobody does... What a weird coincidence:

I'm almost certain they are all operated by the trade-sa-to-shi account.
7854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tradesatoshi.com - * Faucet - Free Coins Every Hour * - CryptoCurrency Exchange on: March 28, 2019, 02:04:33 PM
there is any progress on this meme war?

did DiHunter verified his account or is still do not agrees with the terms and conditions?
DiHunter uses any other crypto exchange with fake name?
any other proof besides memes or conspiracy theories?
there is an official response from Tradesatoshi about registering accounts with a fake name?

and last question, can someone update me with a list of exchanges that don't ask for KYC?

Most exchanges only ask for KYC for high-limit withdrawals, as you yourself used to do until you suddenly decide to spring KYC on everybody without warning.

Other exchanges that don't have mandatory KYC?

Binance
Bittrex
KuCoin
Kraken
ShapeShift
BitMEX
Bisq
HitBTC
Cryptopia

and many, many more. As a matter of fact, most exchanges don't have KYC:

https://www.coindesk.com/most-crypto-exchanges-still-dont-have-clear-kyc-policies-report

People need to be warned that you guys are trying to scam people over this issue. You can't suddenly impose KYC on a tier of traders who you didn't require it from before and then use it as an excuse to with-hold coins. That's theft. Among the other reasons you are untrustworthy:

- locking users out of their accounts for unknown reasons
- raising withdrawal fees to absurd levels
- censoring any criticism of your exchange
- not honoring withdrawals from those who _do_ provide you their personal information

The list goes on. Anybody else besides the 4 accounts here operated and controlled by the same person: if I forgot something, feel free to mention it and I'll add it to this list.

staff?

We have lowered our BTC withdrawal fee to 0.0001
Grin
Add to it:
"But we're still very greedy, so we'll set the fee for your transaction so low that you'll be waiting all day for it to be confirmed!"
Check the fees in the transaction from the user's message in Tradesatoshi discord:
He/she paid to Tradesatoshi: 0.00010000 BTC
Tradesatoshi paid for whole transaction: 0.00000224 BTC
Fee per byte - 1.004 sat/B

They are so low, that the transaction is still unconfirmed (recived 26.03, today is 28.03).

Wow, 1 sat/byte fee? Big spenders over there!

Seriously folks. This exchange is a joke. They are blocking anybody who questions them about anything on Reddit, Twitter, and their own exchange. If you are considering depositing coins here, please don't. If you already have, well I feel sorry for you but you should absolutely get them out ASAP.

bolivarcoin
No, your memes are great. Post more of them. They are greatly represent the lack of professionalism of traidsatoshi-staff.

You are one of the moderators on their Reddit page. Are you saying you're _not_ staff? DiHunter is absolutely correct in his generalization.

Why would anybody use an exchange with staff that engaged in this kind of behavior? Furthermore, its quite obvious you and the 3 other accounts that support this exchange are all run by the same person. You always reply to comments by writing above the quoted text -- almost nobody does this.

Its quite obvious you're preparing some sort of exit scam. To all users: do not deposit your coins here. They will likely be lost for good.

When's the next Round Earth Shill Convention?

I'd like to go as I have a speech prepared on improving Antarctic Border Wall security.

Also, people like notbatman are coming closer to uncovering the truth about our great hoax... we need to find out where he lives and put more fluoride in his water supply, maybe get a few chemtrail deliveries going...

Really, on April 1st (what a coincidence) this thread will be 4 years old, and I just want to congratulate notbatman for what a fine trolljob he's done since then. Really, its spectacular, like probably one of the strongest commitments to any one trollery I've ever seen.

BTW batty, how's the shipment of those black arrow miners coming along?
