I'm out too but here's an unlikely source for knowledgeable guys https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5124376.0

Seems like a lot of work for a few merits which are only redeemable here.
I never really saw the value of the merit system which is probably why I gave mine out quite readily.
What exactly does a merit do for you anyway?
Does it allow you to rank up quicker?
If so then what does ranking up get you for that matter?
Meh.
In theory it's a sign of a good post and improves post quality all round.
In practise it just helps those that want to earn more money on sig campaigns.
To some extent, newbs want to prove their value to the forum.
And dick-measuring...

I'm out too but here's an unlikely source for knowledgeable guys https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5124376.0
But it is not going to help much for the people on WO thread, since the requirement to get merit on that thread is way far from speculations.

You first reply says much the same as mine, but I dispute this reply. Look
... who shows an understanding (or genuine interest) of any or a combination of the following:
  • Bitcoin
Easy enough if you care to, and if he's genuine...............

I checked the thread before a while and most of the people who got merits for bitcoin related stuffs gave their technical related posts,is the reason why I said like that.

Hopefully everything related to bitcoin will get accepted.

Yeah, it worked to stop the flood of new accounts made for bounties.

Ranking up aint easy.

We were mostly already fairly well ranked up here in the (new) World Order thread.

Ironically though you get even less merit if you are already high because people feel there is less value or impact in it.

Its still nice to get a dog treat sometimes. Even for us older dogs.

Bears are so fucked once we finally break 4200. You had a nice 2018, BTCut its our time now.

102 days into the new BTCaby BTCull Market and all is well.  Cheesy

from what i see is that the bull started around the 7th of Febuary.
From 15th of December till then was the end of the bear.

You both are a bit to optimistic. We will see sub $4000 even months from now.  If we would be in bull market that should be impossible.

In Singapore today...

A funny ATM that keeps changing colors in Capitol Plazza Mall:

The Riverwalk on South Bridge Road :

Some other stuff...

The famous luxurious Raffles Hotel :

Not a bad view...

Tomorrow, I'll start having a better look at the Bitcoin scene here.

In the meantime, here is an article about the importance of the blockchain in Singapore :

the genius of the invention of bitcoin is just in the huge bandwidth due to the huge computing power and huge block size. The mistake of Satoshi's followers is that they limited the block size for the sake of increasing difficulty.
EOS can not more than 3000 TPS, its capacity is limited by the performance of the server. But bitcoin can, if you let the block size float freely like a Komodo. however, this has its plus, the high complexity of bitcoin is ideal for notarization transactions altcoins like the same Komodo

If you quit crypto during the bear market, it may become the biggest financial regret you will ever have. Don't do it.

Bear markets are where future OGs are born.

Is it wrong to be a fan of both Bob and JJG?

I feel like I should be choosing sides here...

LOL j/k. It's all entertainment and part of the WO cycle.

I thought most of us liked both? Although JJG is sometimes too wordy even for me, and I like words and convolutions.

I like bob more for damn sure ....

why  I do like JJG BTC-related and BTC-point of view, I don't like JJG for made up stories, assumptions about people (not only me), but spreading or to try create lies about other members and try to get other people/members thinking bad about people that aren't doing anything wrong is just not good, he put some FUDDERS/SPAMMERS @the right place from time to time as well ....

but cause of that i'm in favor of BoB, cause he's all around an awesome dude, gives good info, is BTC-BULL as well, but just know how to throw some good jokes in the mix etc

JJG don't get me wrong i'm not against you, but for me personal I think many WO's can vouch for me i'm handling my account alone, cause of PM talks etc... but I say it wasn't only towards me cause that wouldn't bother me so much, but sometimes to other good WO-members as well, for the rest keep your good BTC-thinking going cause nothing wrong with that, for some other things change your attitude from time to time.

remember @start of being here you gave me many complaining about my games, and I need to do it in another thread, assuming I wasn't going to pay (never talk before you know someone), but I did try my best and changed all those thing to not bother you and the other members....

Analysts Claim CoinBene Transactions, Recent Activity ‘Consistent’ With Exchange Hack

Data scientists at blockchain infrastructure firm Elementus have published details of recent transactions from crypto exchange CoinBene that they consider to be suspect, beginning with $105 million in crypto swiftly being moved out of the exchange’s hot wallet.

“Monday 25-Mar, 2:58pm: A series of transfers totaling $105m in value begins out of CoinBene's hot wallet into three different addresses. Monday 25-Mar, 6:24pm: CoinBene's hot wallet ceases all activity and remains inactive for 8 hours. Tuesday 26-Mar, 2:44am: CoinBene's hot wallet begins moving funds to the cold wallet.”

Good morning Bitcoinland.

The battle for $4k continues.... currently $4024USD/$5404CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

C'mon Bitcoin, start moving up. I need to buy $30k before the end of April to finish paying for my teeth. I hate the idea of spending a half dozen bitcoins to do that.

Go Bitcoin go.
_______

P.S. I know it's Dump on JJG Day but I had to merit him for his comments about Roach and BJA and bagholders. Yes, his verbosity and air of superiority can be annoying at times but I can understand where he's coming from.

I can be verbose at times too. It's just that I do it with my larynx, not my keyboard. I can be condescending too. I just try to be more diplomatic about it. Cool
