7841  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: antminer s9 fan direction is wrong? on: May 17, 2018, 01:49:55 PM
Do you mean that there is no intake air and both front and back is exhaust fan?

Did you tried to reverse the fan without reversing cable?

I suggest you better to send it back to bitmain so that they can replace it with new hardware just make sure that it's still underwarranty.
7842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi nakamato needs to come out ! on: May 16, 2018, 08:53:25 PM
I was waiting for him to come out to thank him everything about bitcoin, but until now no Satoshi Nakamoto on any news and article are real and I think it's impossible to Satoshi Nakamoto to come out since he invented the bitcoin there is possibility that terrorist will take Satoshi and ask for huge amount of bitcoin or the monetary authorities will kill Satoshi that is why I think Satoshi Nakamoto now is hiding.

I hope someday that he can even just online here on the forum to say anything about bitcoin because there are many people wanted to request to Satoshi Nakamoto for bitcoin improvements.
7843  Economy / Speculation / Re: Short term traders should read this on: May 16, 2018, 08:13:33 PM

Such an awesome advised and your right it's very volatile this year compared to past years and your guide will help other trader to won't buy 100% of your money I always do this buy low buy only 25% of my savings going to bitcoin for my own investment and the other remaining I buy bitcoin when the price will decrease more. So that I could get the maximum profit when the price increases even just 5% to 15%.

Greediness is one of the reasons why other traders lose in trading and I think if you put your funds to other coins the result is the same because every time the price increases the other coins also increase this is just what I notice these days and there are sometimes coins that the price stuck. So staying in bitcoin could reduce the risk to lose in trading.
7844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Prospects of bitcoin for June 2018 on: May 16, 2018, 06:54:41 PM
If you are trading in bitcoin don't forget to do buy low and sell high this always works and make you a good profit, but this is not a daily profit you must hold your bitcoin for a long time and sell them when the price increases more than 30% or less and save the profit then wait again for bitcoin to fall again and buy again.

Don't sell bitcoin based on your feelings if you heard some FUD's outside and people are panic selling you should ignore them because you will lose then hold your bitcoin until you see the price increase and make you a good profit.

That's a simple strategy, but it takes a longer time before you can make a profit.
7845  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: The transaction was rejected by the network. This indicates that your wallet is on: May 16, 2018, 06:27:41 PM
This issue is always been happened to me that's why I switch to electrum for android, if ever you still wanted to use mycelium wait for their nwe update until they fix the issue.

Has this issue been happening to you recently or have you experienced it previously? I have used Mycellium for years and this is the first time I am having issues with transactions failing. This is my first time trying to use the wallet after their big modular update.

I did try electrum but it doesn't have the features I need.
Just past month ago I'm having this problem before if you are still having this issue "out of sync" try to connect to other internet connection or if you have an extra phone try to install mycelium and import your wallet then try to send bitcoin again. If it still persists maybe your phone is infected, do a hard reset it might help.

Then also check if your wallet is not a watch only wallet that mostly one of the reasons why you can't send out bitcoin to other wallets.

If all of these are not working it a server issue from mycelium.
7846  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Bitmain V9 miner testing on: May 16, 2018, 06:12:20 PM
Try restore factory settings by holding a reset button check the guide here https://enforum.bitmain.com/bbs/topics/3957

If reset won't work try to update it with new firmware use the firmware here https://shop.bitmain.com/support.htm?pid=00720180209143442409014df2DA0612
Then do a factory reset and try to run your miner again and check if it solve the issue or not.
7847  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of coin are you waiting for on the pump? on: May 15, 2018, 09:24:27 PM
I only have 5 coins that I already mined and holding for a long time because I was waiting for the price to pump more than the price last December.

My 5 coins are ZEC, ETH, ZCL, Bitcore, and bitcoin these coins have great developers and I was still waiting for their burst increase this coming November or December.

I just mined them and hold it for fun and maybe someday we will see a higher price of each coin in the future.
7848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bangladesh government banned bitcoin ? on: May 15, 2018, 08:35:35 PM
This is an old issue and I think they are hunting those people who are using bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies check the article here https://news.bitcoin.com/bangladesh-authorities-hunt-bitcoin-traders/

However, some of my friends from Bangladesh are still accepting bitcoin as payment, but why this news still discussed?

If you are living in Bangladesh better to use a VPN to save your bitcoin or you can exchange it into perfect money and withdraw it in any 3rd party exchange from perfect money.
7849  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HITBTC abuse, dont let me login in my account on: May 15, 2018, 07:49:33 PM
This exchange site has many issues before that already posted here in the forum and you are not the only one who experienced about logging in Hitbtc.

For now, what I see here, they give you a chance to get your account via your email if you don't have the email it would be hard to recover back your account.

Like the above said if you know the location of this exchange site you can now report it to your lawyer with your evidence that you own that account.

Don't waste your time to recover your account back without evidence, you must prove that you own the account.
7850  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: The transaction was rejected by the network. This indicates that your wallet is on: May 15, 2018, 06:25:28 PM
I have tried reinstalling, using 3 different networks over 3 days now always with the same result. Has anyone else successfully created a cold storage or trezor transaction in Mycelium recently?

I also opened a support ticket but I haven't heard anything.

Update: Issue reported via github: https://github.com/mycelium-com/wallet-android/issues/463
If still experience the same result I suggest that you import your wallet in other wallet like electrum that already suggested above.

This issue is always been happened to me that's why I switch to electrum for android, if ever you still wanted to use mycelium wait for their new update until they fix the issue.
7851  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: other electrum wallets are safe on: May 14, 2018, 10:32:36 PM
e seen that exists https://electrum.dash.org/
and https://electrum-ltc.org/
I would like to know if they are electrum officers and if they are safe

at https://electrum-ltc.org/ this is on your page
Electrum-LTC is a community-maintained port of Electrum, the Bitcoin wallet, to Litecoin. It is not an official product of Electrum Technologies GmbH, which does not support it

so I would like to know if they are safe or not

another is electroncash that is not official and has bad comments
by

I would like to know if it can be used apart from electrum, electrum.dash and electrum-ltc in the same pc without problems?
I think they are not connected to electrum both electrum-dash and electrum-ltc is just an electrum fork wallet.

According to electrum-ltc page, they found a vulnerability in electrum and electrum-ltc, but they fixed it, so make sure if you wanted to use the electrum-ltc use the latest version or newly released so that you are far on vulnerability.

I also suggest you to ask more in their litecoin announcement thread for your safety.

7852  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: The transaction was rejected by the network. This indicates that your wallet is on: May 14, 2018, 10:14:08 PM
Sometimes it happens to me, but mostly this issue is on their side, but you can try to turn off and on your router and ISP and restart your phone then try to send bitcoin again. If still doesn't work you can try to uninstall your mycelium app, but make sure that you already had the master backup seed or backup private key to recover your wallet back after you reinstall the mycelium app then send bitcoin again.

If this solution does not work better to wait for days sometimes it works again after a 1 day sometimes 3 days.
7853  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee Reiterates That Bitcoin with get to $1 million MINIMUM by 2020 on: May 13, 2018, 10:45:42 PM
His prediction is not accurate just like what happened last year, for me, it is clear that he encourages people to invest more in bitcoin so that the movement price of bitcoin will increase more and holders will sell including him.

However, it might be possible to happen in bitcoin, but not in 2020 maybe 2140 the price could reach nearly $1 million, but it depends on how they develop bitcoin and how people use it, if there are more improvements about bitcoin and all country accepts bitcoin as payment maybe it could be possible to reach nearly $1 million, but for me it's impossible to happen unless if there are many big investors enter into cryptocurrency maybe the price could hit that value.
7854  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggestion for trading on: May 13, 2018, 07:09:53 PM
Honestly, a good trader also experiences to lose their investment, all here in cryptocurrency are risky you must be smart and don't believe in any promises.

The only coins that I could suggest you that can reduce the risk of losing your investment is to choose the coin, which is mostly used by many people or choose a coin, which is on the top 10 in coinmarketcap all of them are less risk than you are investing in new ICO's or new coins because it's too risky so avoid investing in them.

Also, make sure that you can control your feeling when the price is decreasing because there are still chance that the price can recover back in the future.
7855  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 1 Hash Board do not mining S9 13.5T / Still under warranty on: May 13, 2018, 04:51:17 PM
Do the hard reset first and replace the cable of hashboard before you send it back to bitmain.

To perform the hard reset first shutdown your miner>power it again after 2 minutes hold the reset button for 5 seconds then release, the miner will automatically restart and it must be reset to factory default.

If this won't work you can follow the other reset ways here https://enforum.bitmain.com/bbs/topics/3957

If everything still the same result better to send it back to bitmain because you have a defective hash board.
7856  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9 - Single Board Hashing Low on: May 12, 2018, 03:19:07 PM
My guess, it's because of high temperature that is why the hashrate is not running properly.

Could you monitor the temperature in miner status page and check if the miner exceeds 80 degrees because if one of your hashing board exceeds 80 degrees it could lead to high temp protection.

Try to add cooling devices if ever the temp is high if this solution won't work your hashing board might be defective.
7857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox account transferred 6000 bitcoins today on: May 11, 2018, 11:08:27 PM
This news could push people to panic sell their holdings so for me this is another FuD. The bitcoin price movement these days are normal and I don't believe that mt.gox is still holding that big amount of bitcoin. Look at the movement of the price last week if they saw the price was increased they should sell even small amount of bitcoin that could affect the price.

What I saw here they are using the mt.gox to push people to sell. If you are investor you must be stay calm and don't believe in any fud's. Don't let fud's to control your feelings make your own research before you decide to sell you bitcoin.
7858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: The best way to restore erased data from your phone. on: April 29, 2018, 10:45:02 PM
How would you produce the alternative image.

Me, personally, would plug my phone into my computer and try to use it as a flash drive with recovery software running from the computer (you wouldn't run anything from the phone). I'm not sure how the image creation would work though, and I know my way would be bad say if there was a debug file that got written to in the process of connectiong and disconnecting or the recovery software was too strong for to not affect the memory card too much.
The problem with using it as a flash drive is the phone would still  be writing data in the background as there's services still running to keep the phone operating. I would recommend getting the copy and then turning the phone off rather than keeping it on and potentially risk writing data over the existing data.

There's a few programs out there, but I can't vouch for their security and effectiveness. For example, one is called Magnet Acquire and another one called Oxygen Forensics. But, again I can't vouch for it's ability to do the job. OP can search up forensic tools which are compatible with android or what ever software the phone is running and take it from there.
You can just dump the backup image (honestly not an image it's firmware) you can dump the firmware with simple tools, but most of the smartphones have different CPU model, look at the Samsung you can't easily dump the firmware without using Z3X box, it is a tool, which is used by technicians including me.

There are phones that you can easily dump your firmware mostly MTK CPU, there are many tools that you can use like sp tools, but you need to enable your debugging mode.

@OP if you are looking to recover your bitcoin wallet from a formatted phone you couldn't recover them back using those tools.

Base on what I experienced with wondershare you can only recover images, videos, apps and songs, but the files or data of apps are totally erased you will never get them back unless if you have a backup from android recovery mode (You can open recovery mode by holding 3 keys from your phone) or if you fully backup your firmware.

If you still wanted to try to recover your formatted or erased files from your phone you can follow this guide https://www.wondershare.com/data-recovery/wizard-mode.html

However, it's not guaranteed that you can recover the files you wanted, most of them are broken.

Thank you for your information. Do you know any trusted people in this forum who have already had such a case and have managed to deal with it?

Do you know of any good sources with more information? What blogs, if any or somethink like that?

What model of your phone? if it is android phone XDA-developer forum is a good place.
7859  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum not syncing on: April 29, 2018, 09:12:05 PM
Great, thank you very much. That's what I thought but just needed to hear it straight. Appreciate your time.
just additional, you can also make a backup of your private keys from electrum by going to addresses tab and choose bitcoin address with balance and right click then choose the private key then copy it to notepad now you can install the latest electrum wallet and it should be fine.
7860  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Temperature problems after updating-Antminer S9 13 TH on: April 29, 2018, 08:26:41 PM
Well, I think after you update your firmware to other firmware it might be the reason of the temperature increased.

The only thing that I think it could help you to decrease the temp is to increase the fan speed,

I bookmarked a solution and I hope that you can try it first and increase the fan speed check this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2690140.0

If this could not work you must try the other firmware I suggest that you download this Antminer-S9-all-201705031918-550M-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar.gz

It could reduce your frequency settings and reduce the miner temperature.
