7841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: May 21, 2017, 07:50:03 AM
Until now I still use the web wallet
Maybe because it makes it easier for transactions and exchange btc into the currency in my country
Web wallet are good as long as you don't put a lot of bitcoins there and you just put the minimum amount that you need for daily usage. If you are putting all your money there then it is very bad practice because it maybe the reason on losing your money because we all know that there is no safe in the internet and hackers are everywhere so it is better if you find other wallet like hardware or offline wallet.
7842  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is gonna die soon! on: May 21, 2017, 07:27:13 AM
I think something is wrong with your prediction, also you could see in this thread, mostly people will not agree with your one point and that is bitcoin is die. Why you are not looking the price of bitcoin? Everyday bitcoin price gonna high, its mean bitcoin will live long life, it doesn't mean that bitcoin is die. But i also think bitcoin should do, to improve the payment system for the people.
Yeah, i agree with you. Bitcoin will live a longer life than the expectation of others. The best proof that bitcoin will continue to live is the price of it right now and that is more than 2000 USD and soon it will climb up more, so i think instead of doubting about bitcoin. It is better to just join the boat and be rich after 5 years.
7843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: May 21, 2017, 07:10:39 AM
At the moment I can't realy save the bitcoins but I'm trying to change that and from my perspective saving is for the need, for the future not for fun. Fun is spending bitcoins.  Grin If the price continues to go that way bitcoin savings have the nice future.

Well, everyone saves the money for future purpose and no one save if for Fun of course. I have a mixture of spending and saving bitcoins too. I spend which is absolute  necessary and rest i save it for my future. Saving bitcoins has double benefits as with the period of one or two years, you can find yourself in the list of millionaire if you have 3 to 4 bitcoins only.
I agree with you saving bitcoins for the future is the best rather than spending it on not necessary things and if you have a lot of bitcoin then keeping it is the best option for you because with just at least 3 bitcoins then you can easily be millionaire and if you are a good trader then multiplying that at least 3 bitcoins will be very easy.
7844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: May 21, 2017, 06:53:50 AM
All of my friends are asking me about bitcoin because they see my posts that is about the current price of bitcoin and they got curious because they all know that the price of bitcoin in the past few months was around 1000 USD and now it is 2000 USD so they got really curious and now i am busy explaining to them because i want to help them and don't miss out the train.
7845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: May 20, 2017, 10:39:38 AM
As we seem the explanation of bitcoin is very difficult among children but it is not among teenagers.  because they need digital currency  in their future. hence, they get understand about different types of intenet base currencies so it won't be difficult to explain about bitcoin  among them.

I don't think that its a smart decision to introduce bitcoin to teenagers or children so early as its not time for them to start earning money in their childhood days and its a time for them to enjoy and things will become complicated for them if they are taught about bitcoins in early days.
If you were going to introduce bitcoin to the teenagers then it is a good and almost smart decision because the teenagers are already exposed to technology so they will understand bitcoin easily without having any problem and i think you are right about the children because it is not a smart idea to introduce bitcoin to children because they don't might like it and they will not enjoy their childhood.
7846  Other / Off-topic / Re: is worth to buy bitcoins? on: May 20, 2017, 10:03:08 AM
I do not recommend buying it *now*. Because the price of bitcoin is still high. But it will be worth it if you buy it in its low amount. You could wait for it to get low and then buy it. But it's still up to you, just be smart and think about it thoroughly.

This maybe practical. by waiting the price to dip just set your buy order at low possible price. But if you are also aiming for long term program, you can buy now and hold or forget it Smiley That is, if you have an extra funds. Of course do not forget the private keys, keep it at a safe place.
I agree with you, for me it is best to just aim for the long term investment and buy now and keep it for long term and wait for at least 5 years and then check the price of bitcoin and enjoy your profits because bitcoin is just like the gold but faster because its price is keep going up and that is why long term is best for bitcoin.
7847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin digital gold or digital cash? on: May 20, 2017, 09:49:20 AM
I'm really proud to be a part of this discussion, I think bitcoin can be both, it depends on which name would you use for it, for me, it is digital gold. yesterday I came to know that the rate of bitcoin is greater than gold, I would love to call it as a digital gold.
You don't need to choose from those two because bitcoin has it all. Bitcoin is digital gold because of its expensive growing price and that is faster than gold growth price and also digital cash because you can use it to pay things online or even bills and bitcoin is also getting accepted in offline stores so it is all around.
7848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does this community use bitcoin? on: May 20, 2017, 09:36:59 AM
You can't tell what is the use of bitcoin in the community specifically because there is a lot of people who are using bitcoin for currency and also an asset so there is no sense to compare because you can have them both. Bitcoin can be use as a currency and pay items using it and also earn profit by having an asset which gives you passive income.
7849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: May 20, 2017, 09:27:45 AM
In my country i consider banks here supports bitcoin but by withdrawal only thru a third party app. Good thing is they charged small fees and some are free of charge.
That is a great news for you because you can easily withdraw your earnings from bitcoin without having any problem in depositing in into a bank account. Even there is third party app, it is still convenient and good for the bitcoin users there because you said that some of the transactions are free of charge which is the best and no hassle.
7850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: May 20, 2017, 09:15:50 AM
I sent btc to my posw wallet 5 days ago and still pending from blockchain.info ... paid extra miner fees when it warned me it would be slow if I didn't with a popup message, I figured 24 hours but 5 days?

it is what it is ... cryptoland   Shocked

same stuff, i sent 0.04 almost 4 days ago and still unconfirmed, but iused on purpose a lower fee less than 1/3 to see how much it would take on average to confirm a lower fee transaction, but i think it's random

i was hoping to use the accelerator but it's full, there is no way now to get the money back and sendthem again with proper fee, still waiting for them to implement replace by fee features directly in core(and not with the patch...), so we can at least correct fee..
That is a lesson for you, based on my experiences i used to put high recommended fee in my transactions so it can be confirmed within 10 mins and get another confirmation in the few minutes after the first confirmation. The fee right now is getting higher and higher because of the unconfirmed transaction and i think the only thing that we can do is to embrace and adjust the usual fees that we are putting.
7851  Economy / Speculation / Re: What price would you stop buying Bitcoin? on: May 20, 2017, 09:02:02 AM
Last time I bought some BTC was when it was worth $400 or so. Haven't bought more since but keep earning it through affiliate programs (casinos and such). Awesome times Smiley
Wow that is a very cheap price and your investment is already around x5 profit and that is very huge gains for a bitcoin investor like you. You should hold your bitcoins for long term because in the next few years bitcoin will be one of the popular currency and the price in that time will go up very fast.
7852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why only now many countries recognize bitcoin as a virtual currency? on: May 20, 2017, 08:52:03 AM
I think the reason why many countries recognize bitcoin late as a virtual currency because of its popularity over the internet. Maybe also late because of government rules not to expose this kind of digital currency online. And, being careful not to affect banks in the country.
I agree with you, since bitcoin is only in the internet then you can only find bitcoin in the internet and you can study it only in the internet so the countries just notice bitcoin for this late because they don't have enough source to find out what is bitcoin and the only thing that brought bitcoin to them is the hype and the news everywhere that is discussing bitcoin.
7853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: May 20, 2017, 08:41:36 AM
in my opinion, in 20 years either bitcoin will become a giant virtual money or it will be destroyed. but in recent activities shows me a great hope to be an optimist about the bright future.

I think bitcoin will be more giant virtual money rather than being destroyed because a lot of bitcoin users now are continue supporting the currency and a lot of people are coming in bitcoin and they are also buying bitcoin even the price is high now because they still believe that the price will rise up more. Bitcoin will be the most popular currency after 20 years Cool.
7854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's wonder a little. The year is 2057. on: May 20, 2017, 08:29:23 AM
Let's wonder a little. The year is 2057.

(By the way, Chris Pratt is the POTUS, sorry about that)

How do you imagine yourself with your bitcoins? How do you imagine the World you'll live in related to the cryptos?

Blockchain rules the world (from elections to the way your grandchildren interact with friends) and BTC is everywhere? Another crypto that does not even exist yet is now the king and both blockchain and BTC are seen as a museum piece, such as a steam locomotive?
The year of 2057 will be a great year for bitcoin because i think that the countries already adopted bitcoin and a lot of malls and merchants in all around the world is related with bitcoin and they are also accepting payment thru bitcoin. The blockchain is the most main stream technology in 2057 and that is a year that worth to wait.
7855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: May 20, 2017, 08:17:17 AM
Yeah right, I will tell everyone that bitcoin is money because with bitcoin can we do any better and faster than real money. bitcoin is better than real money because every transaction is secure, and cheaper.
Yeah, bitcoin is better than real money in some instances but not all the time bitcoin is still better than real money because bitcoin is just another payment system and people is just using bitcoin because of its faster and cheaper fees but in terms of daily usage and the common usage will stick to using fiat currencies that we already been using since from the start.
7856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: May 20, 2017, 08:04:42 AM
I think it's useful for the current development of bitcoin. In my country has not approved bitcoin payments for large companies or even small. And few of the online store will accept payments via Bitcoin cause bitcoin has not been adopted by the firm as a provider of the item.
They are not accepting bitcoin because bitcoin is not that popular and they didn't know anything about bitcoin but if they find out and do research by their own i think they will regret for not accepting bitcoin in this past few months and years. Bitcoin just need some promotion and advertisement and i think that will be enough for us to see companies or store that accepting bitcoin.
7857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Creeping Towards $2000. Party in Miami if so! on: May 20, 2017, 07:44:11 AM
The price of bitcoin is so close to 2000 USD price mark and i think before this month ends the 2000 USD price will be stable and it will continue to rise for this coming months and years especially the year of 2018 because i think the price in 2018 will be 5000 USD.
7858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: May 20, 2017, 07:10:08 AM
As already said Bitcoin is digital. In our world things changes rapidly. Even now many large companies(Amazon, Tesla Motors, Zappos) allow you to pay with Bitcoin. It seems to me that BTC might be widely spread as an online payment currency very soon.
It is happening right now, a lot of companies now are accepting bitcoin as a payment and other countries are also doing that and they are implementing bitcoin to their country because they see bitcoin as a great currency and there is a lot of potential in bitcoin because of its fast growing price and the proof or evidence for that is the close to 2000 USD mark price now.
7859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 20, 2017, 06:59:20 AM
Today many people rely on bitcoin, in the sense that they are now focusing on the world of cryptocurrency, leaving their jobs

Is there something like this, is there any special tips because i want to focus but not yet dare?

its true that a lot today rely on bitcoin, but for my own experiences, bitcoin is my other source of income other than my personal work since what we all know that bitcoin is still evolving and increasing its price as of now but at the same time we don't know if bitcoin is with us for a longer time. I'm just happy right now that its price is high that it can also reach the same amount of salary that I earn from my work, but I don't think I can leave my job and focus deeply on bitcoin.
for now just keep your job and also take some/most of your free time on earning bitcoin so that more $$ will come unto you Smiley  Grin
That is the best thing to do, do earn from two source of income and not only on one because there you can't be sure that you will continue earning from bitcoin in the next months or years so having a back up like bitcoin and focusing on your regular work is the best thing to have rather than risking your job.
7860  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin sucks ass but price still rises- how come on: May 20, 2017, 06:51:25 AM
I think the only explanation for this is the demand and the hype that is being created in the exchangers, i'm also confused because there is a lot of stuck transactions but the price of bitcoin is still rising and it is rising like nobody can stop it. I think this is just a hype and soon bitcoin will calm and lower the price and also the team of bitcoin will fix this stuck transactions as soon as they find solution.
