7841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long does a trade take? on: June 19, 2017, 11:52:11 AM
The duration of a trade will always depend on the temperament and emotional management of the trader. A trader's apathy towards a trade, whether a scalper, a day trader or weekly trader. Sometimes, even planned day trade takes a few minutes to fill up and profits made depending on the fluctuations in the market at that time. I like longer time frames like the 4hrs and daily frames because they give one a clearer picture of the market. But that doesn't mean scalping aren't good or profitable.
7842  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to somehow regulate Bitcoin? on: June 19, 2017, 10:16:01 AM
Few days ago there was a news, that Bitcoin will be legalized in Russia in 2018. So, I can't understand - if it can be legalized, does it mean that Bitcoin can be banned? If it's true - how does it possible?

Maybe there were some precedents, when government can block Bitcoin (any other cryptocurrencie) ? Cause if my understanding is correct, they need to disable all the Internet to stop Bitcoin.

OP, your thread topic is totally different from the question you ask in your comment as quoted here. Banning isn't the same thing as Regulating. Both mean different things. You may want to consult a dictionary for that.

On regulation: Yes, the government of a country can regulate the use of Bitcoin if it were to be adopted into that country's financial system. The government can earn taxes from it just the same way Miners' fees are paid before transactions are processed.
7843  Economy / Services / Re: CryptXC.com Exchange Signature Campaign [CLOSED] on: June 19, 2017, 07:32:32 AM
cryptxc.com is SCAM. I was deposit and buy some #LTC and #DMD. And i withdraw LTC and DMD, but not sent after 1 day.

Dan't deposit to cryptxc.com !!!!

How people easily trust a Newbie account amuses me. And to even think that the Newbie floats a signature campaign with such a high pay without an escrow and people fell for it is even worse amusing. He advertises an exchange and you guys sent your coins to him? How simple to fall prey! Now, you all should stop complaining and whining. Go and lick your wounds. You have been easily scammed!
7844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: June 19, 2017, 07:13:59 AM
Bitcoin is good investment but I wouldn't suggest to put all your money into it. I wouldn't suggest puting all your money into anything, not just Bitcoins. Every investment is a risk and there is always the danger of losing money so you have to invest with care and you always have to have some back up. Don't ever invest more then you can afford to lose.

You actually took the words out of my mouth. I really don't know why anybody would want to invest all they have into a single investment no matter how lucrative it seems. Thumbs up for this advice!
7845  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: June 18, 2017, 09:17:57 PM
I don't believe millionaires are still being made. Those who are millionaires from Bitcoin were the early risers who believed and sticked to the Bitcoin dream from the beginning. The rest of us are just getting by here with money just enough to take care of our basic needs, not to make millions. That chance may have been lost with Bitcoin but we can still find a way with the altcoins. Early risers are always beneficiaries.
7846  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: June 18, 2017, 08:28:57 PM
I really do not think the price matters to traders. Whether up or down the traders will still trade and make profit. What matters to the traders is the fluidity and liquidity that Bitcoin commands because it aids in the movement (trend) of the coins.

However, the price of Bitcoin will be of a major concern to those who hoard it in anticipation for a future price increase so they can upload to the market for profit or in exchange for goods and services. This set of people will always wish the trend continues on the upward.
7847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: June 18, 2017, 02:55:47 PM
I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.

Answering this question in bold prints and getting the answer right will mean someone will have the ability to tell the future. Sadly. That ability is only found with immortal beings, not man. And that ability is Clairvoyance. Quite all right, business and investment rely more on Speculation. We can only take a guess doing business. So, no one knows for such what happens with Bitcoin in days to come. OP, just follow your heart on the question you asked.
7848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: June 18, 2017, 01:09:53 PM
The chances that cryptocurrency will rule the world without fiat is slimmer that a mosquito. This isn't going to happen. There's no way cryptos will replace tangible money completely. For me, cryptos are actually not fiat. They're just a store of value like every other assets and that's why they either rise or fall in value.
7849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do People Invest Into DOGE? on: June 18, 2017, 06:07:54 AM
Why do people invest into dogecoin? I have been asked that question many time, I believe that it is worth a thread. Let's get right into it right now.

First, it is ranked in the top 15 cryptocurrency. Secondly, it is so cheap that if it has a slight growth, you will make A LOT. Basically, right now it is not even worth $0.01. The potential in this coin is so huge.

Dogecoin has various use, but I wont list it.

This is my reasoning behind it anyway.
As always, invest at your OWN risk.

It had never worth up to $0.01. The price has refused to cross the $0.002-3 threshold. Now it's around number 20 on the list.

Anyway, I chose to invest in the Doges because it is structured along side the litecoin technology eventhough with a meme. Also, I like its cheap price and I am hopeful the price will push up after a while. I hold a considerable number unlike with other altcoins. Now, I wait in line for its surge so I can claim some millions in $$$.
7850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japanese Airlines to accept bitcoins soon on: June 17, 2017, 08:41:16 PM
Don't think businesses in Japan accepting Bitcoin should come as a surprise to anyone knowing the perceived origin of this coin. In fact, it's belated. More businesses should quickly show their level of acceptance for the coin to advance it. Truly, it should be Japan's national currency.
7851  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Jamalaezaz, worst campaign manager ever on: June 17, 2017, 07:36:55 AM
Does it mean onegram team don't pay or jama not pay.If onegram not pay, onegram will make the name of islam bad but if jamal not pay I will never join the campaign managed by him.

The way this is going, it's already putting a stain on the image of Onegram as an Islamic coin whether the fault is from Jamal or from the company. Whichever way, I guess that caveat on the first page of the Onegram campaign of not using an escrow is a pointer to what is happening now. None of them from that company wanted to take responsibility from the beginning if things went wrong as it is now. Jamal should have had the funds escrowed or held them himself just the way Yahoo does. So, Jamal should share in the blame. It's partly his fault.
7852  Economy / Services / Re: [OGC] OneGram.Org Bounty Thread - Get Paid for Your support on: June 17, 2017, 06:48:40 AM
lmao this jamal guy is a scammer , big liar , i didnt expecting him to pay all of you because he keeps delaying payment which is suspicious af lol , seriously how can other campaign still hire this guy , probably this guy didnt have responsible and integrity

7853  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you have 10 bitcoin !! on: June 17, 2017, 06:26:24 AM
If you have BTCBTC 10 BTC BTCBTC you will sold it now with 2800 USD ? or hold it for the future ?

and if you hold it for the future , for how much ..... USD you will sold it ?

At $2800 per Bitcoin, having 10btc translates to $28,000. In my country that runs into millions of hard currency. If I have 10btc and I have a day job to cater to my daily needs, I will keep my Bitcoin. But if I don't have any means to sustain my daily need, I will sell off like 4btc while keeping the rest for future price increase.
7854  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: June 16, 2017, 07:21:30 PM
OP's declarative position (since it wasn't a question asked) will be a bit difficult to sustain. How does one prove that Bitcoin reduces unemployment. How? One would ask. If Bitcoin is regarded as a virtual currency or the new fiat, then how does that hold? Can we say fiat/money reduces unemployment? Or that cowries reduces unemployment? No! We can only argue on the strength of investments that can be set up with the possession of these store of value (cowries, fiat, Bitcoin) at any given time.
7855  Economy / Speculation / Re: No need to panic guys! Here's why... on: June 16, 2017, 04:48:45 PM
We can only stop panicking or worrying if we know what the future holds. Since we don't know, we will always panic. Of course Bitcoin seeing a dip to $500 will mean its end. It's not going to worth anything at that price anymore and its fluidity and price fluctuation will all be gone. So, it won't mean anything hoarding it. It will become a shitty coin then. Though I know OP merely joked about that. And at $100,000? Nah! I don't see Bitcoin ever getting to that price.
7856  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoinmaker/Tradeinvest: Legit or Scam? on: June 16, 2017, 09:02:00 AM
Does anyone know anything about this site: https://coindouble.net. Is it legit or a scam hole?
7857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2017, 08:24:34 AM
Not only people who don't like Bitcoin but also people who don't like you, that you, we should do nothing! We shouldn't do anything to them, just be successful, they won't be anything for you in your life Smiley
So why bother yourself about them though. If they dont like btc and you already shared your part better to leave them alone they will regret it after they realized what they've missed the only matters is on how you benefits from this investment and how did you do well from this industry.

People get to love or hate certain things at a certain period in their lives. That's human nature. Sometimes this hatred could be with a reason. Other times it could be as a result of prejudice. If someone around me doesn't like Bitcoin, I will like to find out why. If however the hatred is occasioned by ignorance then I will offer tutorials on what Bitcoin is to the person. But if the hatred is based on prejudice, then I don't have a part to play than to leave the fellow alone. You don't force people into something.

It's the same way some people will hate Forex Trading or Binary Options...Even when they know next to nothing about it!

7859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: big transaction fee in Bitcoin , really down the future of btc ? on: June 15, 2017, 12:00:46 PM
I don't really know if I am stuck or whatever. I have an unconfirmed transaction of 0.025 btc that I sent out pending since 12th June till now. That's close to 72hours and I am at loss on what to do. Can someone help me out on what to do here. This Bitcoin lag in confirming transaction will definitely lead to its death...

Dude I know that you are seasoned bitcoiners but have you used low fees when sending the transaction? I haven't checked the fee's but last week its around 400 sat/byte. So I guess it may have something to do with the fees' you used. I suggest you used viabtc to help accelerate you transaction and maybe you got lucky and it will be pick in the next 6 hours or so.

Ok, I did as you directed me to with the viabtc guys sine yesterday. But the transaction is still not confirmed. Does that mean my coins are stuck now forever? Will I not be able to retrieve my Bitcoin from this failed transaction or what?
7860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: June 15, 2017, 11:02:38 AM
It really won't be a good thing for banks to start accepting Bitcoin because that would defeat the same essence of it been an anonymous coin. There's no banking activity that goes without proper documentation. And if Bitcoin were to be involved, it then means that holders of the coins will be known through documentation. However, I am yet to see any bank that's accepting Bitcoin in this part of Africa that I am.
