7881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do these gambling sites make good money? on: August 23, 2018, 10:07:29 PM
And is it worth trying to recreate one? I would imagine it's already too saturated. Either way, I was mostly curious about how much these guys actually make (margin-wise). If anyone had some insight on this, I'd love to hear.

It will be worth trying to create one if you will put a hard dedication to do that. What I mean here?

- You will spend lots of money. When I say "lots" it means a "lots". No time for joke budget.
- You must have a big bankroll. Again no time for joke bankroll.
- You must hire a good and professional person to made up your team. IT'S A MUST.
- You will do anything just to make your site popular.

Generally it's all about money. How much would it cost? Just think of how much would you spend just for advertising. It needs to be aggressive and not just a simple and plain marketing. Do the math for other spendings.
7882  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-17] Counter Strike game remastered in Bitcoin mode on: August 23, 2018, 09:42:25 PM

I'm planning to download it but I'm discouraged now.

It's just one click away. If your system detected it as virus and you don't have quiet some idea to determined if an app is malicious or not then yes better refrain from downloading it. I see it's not harmful it's just that my system doesn't accepting it.

I think my Windows Defender is the reason but I can't turned it off right now as Im in a middle of an important work. Will feedback here later if you really want to download it.

Take note that don't set too much expectations of this game. Surely it will not passed some of the criteria of the classic game.
7883  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin vs HitBTC on: August 23, 2018, 08:05:43 PM
I'm still not sure what to do regarding my Telcoin... Huh

You have 3 options.

a) If planning to hold it for long = Store the tokens where you hold your private key (MyEtherWallet, Metamask etc.).

b) If planning to trade it regularly = Play with the risks with that exchanges.

c) If plan to sold it now = Then do it now and hope that withdrawal will be processed smoothly.

That's how risky using exchanges even with the reputable ones so do a brainstorming on what should you do.

Wow, I didn't realize that Telcoin is ERC20 token and can be stored in MEW. Thanks, that is exactly what I will do!

Yes they are ERC20 token based so basically can be transferred to MEW.

If you are not aware of it then where do you get your TEL? You purchased it directly on exchange?

Anyways looks like they will have their own standalone wallet in the near future based on the information at their site.
7884  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to do with Dead Tokens? on: August 23, 2018, 07:44:19 PM
Hi all,

I have some dead tokens in my MEW wallet that I don't know what to do with them.

any ideia?

Thank you all

You just say it was "dead" so basically they are not functional nor have value. Since it will not harmed your MyEtherWallet in the first place then let it rest there for long time since after all, you can't do anything to them.

The only annoying thing is here if you hold lots of dead tokens (not by quantity but for each tokens), it will be a long list on your token list whenever you are viewing or checking your ETH address at the explorer.

But for me, I don't mind. I also have lots of "dead" coins on my address. If they will soon revived then good although most of them are impossible to be brought back based on my own view.
7885  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-17] Counter Strike game remastered in Bitcoin mode on: August 23, 2018, 07:18:01 PM

I want to try the game, not because of the rewards but Im a Counter-Strike enthusiast back in my younger days. Want to challenge some although screenshots provided are really crappy.

Unfortunately, my download doesn't goes through because it was detected as a virus so basically a failed one. Even I turned off my AV, weird still it was tagged as virus. It's a hassle if I will uninstall my AV and turned off my Windows Defender. I will try another way to download it.

I played on several servers and got headshot from impossible distances and angles. There are simply too many cheats and

bots for these games.

That can't be avoided especially for a low budget game like this.
7886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Single Bet Roulette Strategy on: August 23, 2018, 06:58:44 PM
Problem is with the strategies that casinos do not seem to like them... most of them I visited, you are not allowed to do so
I don't understand why you said that? We can use any strategy on casinos but, it won't work for long. No strategies can assure you 100% profit. hose always wins at the end. I have tried many strategies, some helped me to gain profit for a short time. Still looking for a strategy which gives profits for long term.

You just said that :

- House always win
- Strategies won't work for long

..but still you are looking for a strategy that you may use for "long-term"?

Roulette strategies may increase the fun factor of the game, but will not have any effect on the long term payback of the game :-)

Exactly.

That's the role of applying strategy in every house edge gambling games, increase the fun factor to think that chance of winning is increase even by a bit. Well I believed we just don't want to bet our money easily without any tactics even we all know that house always win. Smiley
7887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: August 23, 2018, 06:34:02 PM

NBA expected to pass rule changes for 2018-19 season.

To summarize here are the proposed rules:

a) Resetting the shot clock after an offensive rebound to 14 seconds from 24.
b) Simplifying the clear-path foul rule.
c) Expanding the definition of the "hostile act" to more easily trigger instant replay.

Im quiet agree to this (a) as it was already implemented in FIBA (honestly Im not aware that this rule already applied in FIBA for several years now). NBA players are aware of this rule so I think adjustment will not that difficult to them.

Im still studying the rules under (b) as it was new to my vocabulary and system.

Let's see if these will be passed next month. If approved, it will be implemented at 2018-2019 Season.
7888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many new Exchanges on: August 23, 2018, 06:12:47 PM
Back then it would have been a good entry point for a new exchange,  I am afraid now it is either to lately too early

By looking at the positive note, if new exchanges will show some important "things" that a trader wants then I believed that even with the current market situation, they will have a great number of users. Bascially no such thing as wrong timing.

It's just a matter of how well those new exchanges will deal with all the associated concerns that they will faced on a current market trend.

So for a user, if they don't know how to play well with using multiple exchanges, new or not, then better refrain from using new exchanges and stick to the reputables ones.
7889  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: coin exchange is scammer 100% on: August 23, 2018, 05:40:14 PM
Coin exchange was that a site of exchange or something? I never heard of it. Either way, that's not a proof to tell in here that you're account was intercepted.

It's a crypto exchange: https://www.coinexchange.io

Looks like OP is now part of those users who have bad experienced at using an exchange unless there is really a violation of terms. It really happened to any exchanges even to the reputable one. But there are reasons why exchanges blocked some account and that's the thing you need to know now.

To OP, thanks for the warning. I suggest to just keep on contacting the support until you gave up. No choice but to deal with their waiting of response time by them because you have no other choice. Hope that you will get a response as soon as possible.

After 16 seasons, Spurs' Manu Ginobili seriously considering retirement

Until now, there is no decision yet made by Manu Ginobili if he will still play this season or finally hang his jersey for good.

He still has the moves and aside from that, he still have one year left in his contract.

What's your opinion about these guys? Continue to play or not? For me, as long as he believed he can still play, go play until the contract expired. In the first place, he doesn't need to be on the court the whole time every game. If he feels that it's time now to retire, then up to him.
7891  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: "Don't invest more than you can afford to lose", meaning explained! on: August 22, 2018, 08:31:47 PM

In actual sense, "Don't invest more than you can afford to lose" only helps you not to lose your money finally.

Remember that intelligent trading decisions cannot be  made effectively with your emotions active, so avoid trading with high emotions.

Happy trading guys

Let them lose on the way.
Let them think that everything was easy. Let them be wrecked.
Let them made mistakes.
Let them trade with high emotions.

Why?

Honestly without some errors, mistakes and inappropriate mindset, people will never learned while they are on progress. It's way better that they need to experienced those in order to become a better person not just in crypto world but on other aspects too.
7892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online casinos community : Is this important for you? on: August 22, 2018, 08:11:10 PM
For me, if a site has a crappy community ... I won't play there much maybe...  I'm gonna deposit, roll and ditch out with a withdraw... but if they have a good community... there a slightly good chance I might roll there a little bit longer and not withdraw "yet" =)

Having a good and large community, responsive support etc. are a sign of a good foundation. So yes it's important that a certain gambling site does have this. We are talking about "money" here so it's really part of the criteria of choosing a crypto gambling site.

It seems like Telegram is much more popular with our crypto crowd, but most of the big casino and sportsbooks haven't made huge inroads there yet.

Telegram is way more easy to access in terms of checking updates and for discussion purposes. No such thing as long news feed so browsing is convenient.

About the Bitsler issue, the petition won't help. For much clearer clarification, send the concern into support and asked them nicely to explained the situation.
7893  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any professional trading tools in the crypto market? on: August 22, 2018, 05:31:35 PM
As there is not any answer, it seems like there is non. Lol

There is a premium tools available but in crypto, traders don't need to rely solely with the trading tools to deal with the market. Meaning even without premium tools, it's possible to ride with the current trend. Some analyzations and fearless forecast even how well and good it was, created thru proper charting are somehow can be spoiled once a certain trend comes.

Generally, based on my own view*, crypto traders rely on:

a) Speculations
b) Crypto news
c) Upcoming events
d) Current price trend
e) Volumes established on a given timeframe
f) Usual charting
g) Trading signals
h) Own prediction
i) Out of nowhere decisions etc.

All are free in the first place.

~!

I see , as I've expected it is impossible to draw the QR manually. Tho based on the picture you've provided it seems that it is still on a way of painting with the printed one. Or maybe that was really the painted one being attached to the painting.

Tho overall still a very good quality painting.

Out of curiousity on that QR code thing, I ended up here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u99bDBYrNMg

What an effort made not just with the painting itself but the process on making a QR to be printed on the painting.
7895  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Need Bounty Participation | $300,000 Bounty Program on: August 22, 2018, 04:44:53 PM
Hi,

I need real & active bounty players to participate in our bounty program. It is $300,000 worth bounty program. We need at least 10k participants in our bounty. Need it urgently. Anyone who can help us in getting it, please respond ASAP

Bounty Ann Thread link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4671464.0

It is not a scam!!

As far as the bounty program here are concerned, let participants come to you automatically.

They will checked first if your project is somehow meet their criteria on choosing a good bounty.

I guess at least the guy was upfront about the price of the bounty - though where exactly will that money come from? Likely a theoretical value for those tokens - which more than likely is a gamble in itself - all that work, price might not hold up.

That was the scenario in every bounty program even how good the project is and with reputable bounty managers.

It's up to the participants on playing with the risks as always.
7896  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: way of mining on mobile on: August 22, 2018, 04:25:01 PM
When will mobile phone can useable for minig. Is mining too much hard that mobile can not capable, which functions will make mobile capable for mining?and when ?

Too much of desire. Mobile phones are not meant for mining even how good the specifications is. Although that is possible in the future, it will just be considered once mass adoption take place. When I say mass adoption, bitcoin is now mostly used as a currency and accepts at majority of countries in the world.

Mining is not for small time, let's be straight about it. If one wants to pursue mining then go purchased mining rigs and not with the used mobile just to think that it will more less expensive.

From now on, erase the mindset of getting into mobile mining and think of other way around.
7897  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why does my eth went down? on: August 22, 2018, 04:04:15 PM

thank you for the help. you have a very good point. if im going to hack an account i will surely zero it. on my case it just took a portion of it. weel, compromised or not, i think i don't mind creating another MEW and transfer everything. and from now on, keep track of every move that I'm going to do. cheers everyone!

Mind giving us your Etherium address so we can looked at the transactions? Maybe you just forgot what you did on the way but the problem might not be because your address was compromised or you are a victim of a fraud. Just curious because there is still leftover. So unusual.

Well then go on and create another MEW. Just be sure that you will be more attentive and cautious this time. Take that as your experienced.

P.S LOL with other replies.
7898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: August 22, 2018, 03:41:42 PM

Even though Lebron has not said it publicly that he would bring the Lakers to the Finals this upcoming season but that is what the people expected of him. When he was with the Heat and Cavs the teams always appeared on the Finals with Lebron on it. Maybe that is the reason why Lebron's team mate at the Lakers right now are pressured to play well so that the Lakers will be in the final as to not tarnished or end Lebron's consecutive run to the finals.

I don't see it that way. Most people now are not expecting Lakers to be in finals and we all know that the chances are now became slim compare when he was on the East. Not just with Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors but West competition is really tough.

His transfer to Los Angeles Lakers is different from the status when he transferred to Heat and returned to Cavaliers. He joined Lakers without any superstar on it and coming from a worst record so I don't think it's only about a championship goal but yeah an expensive max contract.

I will give 50/50 "for now" for the Lakers that they will reached the finals and 80/20 that they will reached Conference finals.
7899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Australians can now to pay their every day Bills using Bitcoin and other Crypto on: August 22, 2018, 03:20:52 PM

That was a great news. Surely it will bring positive effect not just in Australia but on the whole crypto world. Other countries will surely be aware and reconsider taking cryptos on a higher level.

I just talked to my friend at Australia a while ago and tell this news and they are not aware of Cointree and no such thing as crypto options yet to their payment gateway in paying bills. As far as the article is concerned, Gobbill will be the gateway. Maybe payment gateways are now updating their options to include crypto payments.

Again another these good news that will proved that bitcoin is not always about buy, sell, hold scheme.
