Well pow token links through Facebook and currently they are paying for referrals. Circling back to your question as to whether this is a scam, we can only tell this in December or whenever they open up for trading. I have around 750k pow tokens which I hope is of some use but as of now I don’t think it’s a scam. Wait and watch brother! We are all in this together!

Well the bubbles are bursting and the bad karma is biting our backs. All these years of extravagance, used to living on expenses higher than the monthly household income which in turn leads to loans as well as other bad investments have resulted in this. If only we could have invested in education we could have achieved a lot more but instead we have invested in half baked dreams and the inherent laziness of human beings. All these things combined over he last 100 years or so has led to this Coz we never learn and probably never will either! Coming to your question, yes it is equally bad on my country too. In fact Bad sounds very light given the economic condition and the cost cuts accompanying it.

Well this is Unfair but that’s how a capitalistic society with free market works! This is same in the case of shares, whoever bought Microsoft or Apple shares in their early days are now millionaires or billionaires. The same goes for goes for a lot of other fields. We may choose to call it destiny, luck or a fluke but it is what it is and we can do nothing to change the course. There are some people who let go of a stuff only to realise that they should have held on just like early adopters who didn’t take bitcoin seriously and probably sold off or did not buy what they could have.

I agree with you. For people who can’t afford to follow each and every move that BTC makes, they are safer to save them. However, those who do want to take risks and maximise their btc potential, they can sell and buy during the market corrections and/or forks. The risk is great here as the time is uncertain and the window of possibilities swings both ways. It is then a personal choice and who you are to decide what’s best for you : selling or saving

One of the biggest regrets that I will ever have is that I had the opportunity to buy bitcoin back in 2012 when one of my buddies got them for around 25 usd a piece. I was naive and just used that money to buy a beer. I just wish I had bought a couple beers less and invested in bitcoin, then Si could be enjoying an infinite beer pipe connection to my home straight out of the brewery!! Hahaha! But alas! Life has other plans like being poor for me

Nice question! But why do you mean when you say humanity? Humans just like any other species on the planet has three basic instincts 1. Eating/Drinking 2. Sleeping 3. Reproducing Anything other than that, for e.g. morals, ethics, humanity etc. we’re all devised by people who had sufficient food in their stomach. You stop eating for a couple days and your humanity goes poof! Hence humans were, are and will always be the same ole pricks' It’s just that due to media and Internet we get to see them more often than we would like to

All Muslims!!! Wow that’s a huge generalisation of a significant percent o world population. Even in a group of 10 people neither everyone is good nor everyone is bad. But then why do we have this perception about Muslims? In my opinion this stems from media and subconscious communalism that we all suffer from. This used to be the same for blacks, Mexicans etc. depending on the greed of a few bad men who just want power and control over us all. Hence to summarise my friend just turn off the news, go talk to people and not Christians, white, black, Jewish or Muslim. Just go talk! You will find that majority of humans are good irrespective of their religion

I don't think that this is going to escalate into a physical confrontation. The conflict between the DPRK and the United States will remain limited to words. Neither of the sides are having the balls to use weapons first.
all the weapons of North Korea are so old that I doubt that it is capable of competing with at least one company of land forces of any of the modern countries. If there is even a consultation, the conflict between the United States and North Korea will last only a few hours. I will not name yours, especially if there is no nuclear weapons. Sure about that? The DPRK is having a hydrogen bomb. And I don't think that a hydrogen bomb is something which is obsolete right now.

Because he used to be different than he is today
That's true. One of the reasons why people voted for him in 2016 was due to the fact that he seemed to be less of a warmonger, when compared to Hillary Clinton. But now he is behaving just like Hillary.

There is this new airdrop at powtoken.com What do people here recommend about this particular token? It can be had through FACEBOOK login. If the good folks here can shed more light on this one, that would be amazing 😉

Hi all. I am new to the crypto currency world as well. There is an overwhelming amount of information and just a small glacé can make a person nervous about the kind of sophistication that these things have. Growing up with the current media you never realise how cool all this stuf is and how imaginative and creative people are!!! I look forward to learn more and may be one day be decent enough to share my knowledge to others just like all you guys are helping out each other

Why the mainstream media is hiding this news? Even in India, only a few of the channels (such as Republic and Zee News) have covered this incident. The most popular news paper (Times of India) has remained silent on this story. Perhaps the lives of Hindus are not important for them.

They deserved it. Nothing more to say about this. These people think that human rights is only for gangsters and criminals.
In each and every country, these human rights groups pose danger to the public by blindly supporting the criminals. I am not a resident of the Philippines and definitely not a supporter of president Duterte. But I can see that the crime rate there has declined a lot. Perhaps that is the reason why the human rights guys are going ballistic.

Yes, montero is going down. Listen to Shelby, and everyone else. Sell all your xrm to them.
Like like I said with bcx, the only flaw with monero wrt to Shelby this time around is that he doesn't have enough in his pocket.
That is probably the case. I have seen law enforcement agencies tracing the Bitcoin transactions and arresting those who purchased the drugs with Bitcoins. But I have never heard about an incident in which an anonymous crypto-coin such as Monero or Blackbytes was traced back to a particular individual. So as of now, I don't think that there is anything to worry.

A mainstream media outlet in China (Caixin) reported that the Chinese government is looking to shut down the crypto-currency exchanges. But they didn't provided any evidence to support their claim. The exchanges on the other hand have announced that they haven't received any notifications from the government. So it is difficult to tell what is going on there.

Blocksize of 0.5 GB? That may not be sustainable. 80 GB per day would make mining impossible for small and medium sized players. We need to see how to reduce the size of the transactions, and how to accommodate more transactions in each block.
|
|
|
A bunch of intelligent traders have shorted their coins and reaped massive profit by unleashing a tsunami of fake information about the Chinese exchange ban. The same thing happened in 2013 December, If I remember correctly.

The chances are quite remote. And it will not happen definitely in the next 5 years. Because if 1 Satoshi becomes 1 cent, then the market capitalization will become close to $17 trillion. That would mean that the market cap of Bitcoin is almost three times that of gold. Also, at least 6% of the global wealth will be in the form of Bitcoins solely.
