7921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin still involves too much to deceptive behavior! on: November 14, 2018, 10:47:29 AM
LOL. Blame the people behind and not the technology. And learn how to grow thick skin as well. Those kind of news will always follow us no matter what we do. So we better used our common sense specially those "too good to be true" promotion in social media sites. Just as stated in the article someone spoof Elon Musk, do you honestly believed that high profile account will simply tweet and asking for your bitcoin as donations? I'm sure that as time passes by, you will just ignore this kind of negative images because of those fraudster and scammers.
7922  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Crypto Marketet Is Dumping Drastically !! on: November 14, 2018, 09:34:19 AM
The OP has a point but you have to understand one thing though, this is a free market. Everyone can dump their tokens or coins whatever they want, regardless if the coins is viable for long term investment specially with the current bearish trend that we are witnessing. So people just reacted to what the market is offering. If we're in the bullish trend then majority will just hold and will liquidate to the price then feel they're comfortable with. Of course there will be long term holders, but this people really know what they're doing and they're not here just for the quick money. Plus you need to be mentally tough as well, specially if you're seeing your investments going down in this bear market. It takes a lot of disciple and patience as well.
7923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: November 14, 2018, 09:16:09 AM

Yes. I already mentioned in the first page that Manny Pacquaio should not take this fight lightly. We will disregard age here.

Why MP should be serious on this?

a) Fighting MP is a dream to any younger boxer. Therefore I expect Broner will aggressively do anything to beat him.
b) Defeating MP is a big record to any boxer. Therefore same as letter A.

That MP's fire you are talking may be different now but MP does have a fuel to make it back anytime. There are lots of it on his "gloves".

Correct, fighting Manny is like a honor and privileges specially for a young athlete like Broner. Adrien Broner although very cocky and trash talked a lot, should not be taken lightly. Actually Manny Pacquiao has the right attitude that's why he lasted this long in boxing. He trains hard and doesn't understand estimate his opponent. The only news that I heard that he might have slip in his training is during his fight with Jeff Horn, but I don't know if that is true or not because he came back strong against Lucas Mattysse. And for those young fighters, fighting Manny is like a sweepstakes because of the huge amount of money they can get. Manny's previous opponent got there first big payouts fighting him that's why even though others have said that he is past his prime, people are still going to watch him and obviously he can still bring a lot of money in the table.
7924  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin Price May Take 700 Days To Rally Back To $20,000 on: November 14, 2018, 08:56:45 AM
The author failed to mention one important factor that resulted in bitcoin demand losing its grip back in the days, the Mt. Gox heist, this event really put a dent on the price and remember that time that exchanges command almost 70%-80% of the trades. So its obvious that after the said attack, people shun away and it took years for bitcoin to recover again. So 700 days is like 2 years, hmm, I have doubts that it will take us that long to see another all-time-high. We all know that one single news will turn this market into another bullish trend so we might see some positives in 2019 that can turn around this market again.
7925  Economy / Services / Re: New Project Looking to Hire in Bahrain on: November 14, 2018, 08:25:10 AM
I try to look if there's a local board for Bahrain but it seems there none so I would suggest if you can open a thread here: Other languages/locations. Again, just be careful specially those newbie accounts, you better filter out everything before hiring someone. And always remember "You get what you paid for".
7926  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should be done to support newbies? on: November 14, 2018, 08:02:47 AM
If English is not their first language, then its better for newbies to stay on their local boards, or if they wanted to go out and have some questions that they're local boards can't answer, then I suggest they visited Jet Cash Fit to talk English. Or if they can used the forum's Search function before opening new thread, then that will be great as well.
7927  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: KYC challenges on: November 14, 2018, 07:44:05 AM
Please share any recommendations as to how to make kyc( know your customers ) effective!! and probably; is it even needed?
I do not see any point in conducting a KYC audit. In order for the ICO team to have no further complaints from the US and Chinese authorities, I think it is enough to notify investors about this and that investors confirm by pressing the corresponding virtual button that they are not citizens of the USA and China.

But they can even bypass this by using VPN or even TOR to hide their IP addresses.

If we are talking about the prevention of money laundering, the collection of confidential information cannot be entrusted to temporary teams that do not pass a full-fledged check. In addition, this database is practically not used in any way and there is no point in it, only there is a very great danger of using this data in the future for illegal purposes.
ICO generosity campaigners should not be tested by KYC at all, as they are not investors and cannot launder dirty money.

The problem with ICO though is the way they enforce KYC. Most of the times its on the actual distribution itself that's why lots of bounty hunters are complaining. Initially they're setup that they don't require a full KYC but at the end of the sale, suddenly they inform kYC is needed. So obviously, investors and bouny hunters will make a lot of noise. And will start name callings towards that ICO. Not good for the image of the project.
7928  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-10] Bitmain Sues Mystery Bitcoin Thief Who Hacked Its Binance Account on: November 14, 2018, 02:10:55 AM
Unbelievable, how can someone hack into their binance account and not steal anything! Perhaps they are worried about not being able to withdraw without their 2FA code, so they simply pumped a coin which they were already hodling. Very smart

Hackers are smart people guys, we all know that. Strangely though, there are a lot of questions. Why did the hacker pump MANA though? How did the hacker/s know that its Bitmain's wallet? Why lawsuit not naming the hacker/s? Did they really get his information right? Let's see how Bitmain's subpoena to Binance goes, I'm sure that there are a lot of third parties going to be involved here so it going to be interesting if they can really identify those hacker/s in time. Well this happened in April so the hacker/s would have took off already to some countries to hide.
7929  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: cryptomerchantbank.co a scam BITCOIN WALLET??!! on: November 13, 2018, 01:57:00 PM
I just found one review and it doesn't sound good to be honest, cryptomerchantbank.co. As others have said, it looks like you used a un-trusted wallet to hold your BTC. Expensive lessons to learned and sorry to bring you the bad news.
7930  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2019 Will Be Remarkable for the Industry on: November 13, 2018, 01:31:02 PM
I believe this and I think we can actually buy now and hold till 2019 before selling as we are in a still market now.  Bitcoin is going to pull other coins along next year when it resume its bullish trend by next year.

Its not rocket science that this year was a good accumulation period specially for those long term holders. The second quarter of this year shows that bitcoin won't make any significant run and the price will continue to struggle up to the end of the year.

Regarding 2019, well we can't really tell that's for sure. Bitcoin will take its natural course if this catalyst are put into place. However, I will just advise not to put too much expectations at this point, there's a lot of things that can happen, its better for us to apply a 'wait-and-see' attitude specially if the bearish trend spill over to 2019.
7931  Economy / Economics / Re: List of Decentralized/Centralized Exchanges on: November 13, 2018, 06:58:08 AM
~ snip ~

Wow, oh my gosh! I don't know if I am going to be sad about this news were Shapeshift now is no longer categorize at decentralize instead it is now centralized, well as long as it is still good no any negative feedback, perhaps I can consider it a good one. Isn't right? But honestly, I would rather comfortable to use the exchange that are being categorized in centralized as much as it is really has a good market volume as well.

Where have you been living this past couple of months? Under a rock?  Grin

Seriously though, its been months since Shapeshift has announced it so I really don't know why you late getting the memo. Here, check this thread, there's a good discussion about it, Shapeshift Membership. So yes, its no longer thought as decentralize because of this bitch move on their end.
7932  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin in Bangladesh on: November 13, 2018, 06:28:22 AM
As I know, bitcoin is illegal in Banngladesh, just like in most countris in ASIA.

I won't say that its a accurate picture of Asia as far as Bitcoin is concern. There's still a lot of countries which is bitcoin friendly like Japan, South Korea, HongKong, Singapore, Malaysia and even The Philippines. And Asia will be one big crypto hub in the future so for those countries we turn their back on crypto because of the old nonsense belief that it can disrupt their financial stability then they will be left out in the closet that's for sure. So its either they open their eyes and look at bright side or crypto or stay with their hard line stance while their neighbors are taking all the benefits of this new technology.
7933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 13, 2018, 06:05:09 AM
@vella85 - At this point, its hard to say if the operation is successful or not unless we see Nadal perform next year. So it would be obvious, if we notice some big chances, like him being a tad slow or having problem with his deadly left cross forehand an of course his movement. He is not getting younger as you pointed out so this is also another intangibles we need to look at. I have a friend who is not a sports fan but unfortunately, he had a freak accident that concerning his knee but he didn't seek medical attention and then after a couple of months it pained him so much that the doctors needs to operate and removed some water or lump in his knees. So imagine the toll it has taken on Nadal for all the tennis games he had played, must be extremely painful not just physically but mentally as well.
7934  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happen to bitcoin in this coming year end of 2018? on: November 13, 2018, 05:44:40 AM
I guess by now you already understand why we say that "past performance is not a good indication of future success". Not even the charts of 2017 could have predicted that the price starting from ~1000K would ballooned to almost $20,000 at the end of the year. As to what going to happen at the end of 2018? No one knows for certain, but the latest sideways trend might be a sign that we won't see any major movement, unless the Bakkt bitcoin offering would be one catalyst that we all have been waiting for to get away with this bearish sentiments.
7935  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic crash in 2019! RE.1 on: November 13, 2018, 05:22:53 AM
Having an economic crash is beyond everyone's control wherein government in each country should work for it to stabilize the economic condition in every country. If this happens, I think cryptocurrency will also be affected and this could result to a bearish market and could probably be experiencing to a much longer period. People should consider bearish market as a privilege to the crypto market and should take into consideration that this is the right time in buying more btc and altcoins. I believe that crypto currency will have it's time to shine again in the coming months.

But preparing for it is much better and levering your assets to crypto is one way to go. Believed me, I don't know if you have been when the global 2008-2009 financial crisis happened, but its one of the worst feeling to be in specially if you need to put food in the table for your families.

Of course, this is accumulation period  but there's no way you gonna short in this kind of trend. Making money is easy, but what's hard is having to a sustainable growth for you in the future. So its really better to think about the future not just your future by your family as well. So that when the economic goes from bad to worst, you have some leverage or a good buffer for a least 6 months to a year, just saying.
7936  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-12]Bitcoin is Going to Face its Final Decisive Moment, an Expert Predic on: November 13, 2018, 02:10:12 AM
LOL. I think we should really put up a new category, sort of like 'crypto-economic expert' and then there's the so called 'expert predictors' or something. With all due respect to Tyler Cowen, he is really good because of his economic background, however, crypto economics is very different and they can't really apply their school of thoughts here because this market is fuel by speculation. Do or Die? We just barely scratch the surface, bitcoin is like 10 years old and still in its infancy. A lot of things can happen in the future and bitcoin has proven a lot of its critics wrong and I think that Tyler Cowen will also be another statistics for being a crypto critic who have been disproved by Bitcoin. Grin
7937  Economy / Speculation / Re: investing on: November 13, 2018, 01:45:09 AM
where i can invest my money to bitcoin or other crypto that i received monthly profit.?

I'm sorry to burst the bubble for you but there's no such thing as passive income that is truly legit that I know off. Perhaps you can offer loans here in the community in this section: Lending, and that's the closest thing you can get passive income, but it can be dry for months or you can have many people availing of your loan services. But everything has risk, just be careful of people who you dealing with, specially newbies or people getting a loan without any collateral.
7938  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I do make money in my sleep with crypto ! on: November 13, 2018, 01:16:44 AM
What do you expect? A newbie account shilling about this bot and then putting his referral links. That's why everyone should be careful about those newbies advertising here. And again if you're going to look at their website, you can't really believed that they're saying. Powerful bots? putting the concept "buy low sell high', LOL. All red flags are there. I wouldn't put anything or risk not even a single penny. And "making money while you sleep", that's the one of the most ridiculous sales pitch that I ever heard.

7940  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A browser extension that lets you shop with Bitcoin anywhere online on: November 12, 2018, 10:11:28 PM
What do you guys think of regular wallet vs custodian wallet? Do you think there is a market those less tech savvy to have their coins under custodianship and FDIC insured?

Nah. If you're going to invest on bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies, the first thing you should learn is how to get a wallet and have it secure by yourself. It doesn't make sense if you will go for a third party to insured your coins. Just like what we have been saying here, not your keys not your coins. You don't need to be a tech savvy here, just knowledge of few important features of a wallet and I think your off to go.
