As much as I love that scenario to happen, I think I won't see it in my life though. 10 years old and we've reached 20k mark, assuming the cycle repeat that it would need more than 50 years to reach 100k. (I know, this is just some bad math).
If that does ever happen then anyone who enters the market at this point would be crazy rich. Though it would be really volatile as hell if people start taking profits and move their money to other assets.

Why in the heck are you discriminating newbies completely? I do agree that there are plenty of newbies who shit post like crazy, but this definitely does not mean that there are quality newbie posters out there.
Don't forget that we were are all newbies initially and worked ourselves up the ladder with time.
Tbh I don't think you share the same definition of 'newbies' here. What he posted and meant by newbie might be a newbie account which was created recently and started to look for a job as bounty managers or those who just started their bounty managers careers (their rank might be a member or higher). At some point, I also believe that choosing an application from a newly created account without any clear portfolio is really risky. On the other hand, choosing a 'newbie' manager but has a high rank in this forum might worth a shot as long as they have some portfolio or knows the basic of doing their job. You might not get the best manager but it's worth a shot.

I tried to check one of the addresses that were explicitly mentioned in this forum but shows up your site got no results about it, only shows data from block explorer about that address.
Does this mean you don't scrap Bitcointalk? Which forum that you scrap your data from then?

Why not make blog with all this articles you sending in newsletter?
Have you even check whether they're sending a newsletter with articles or not? IMO OP, I doubt you can get a lot of subscriber with this as they can't even check the quality of the articles that you're promised to send. Maybe just put several articles on the website and for the rest of it, you can ask them to join the newsletter. On top of that, there are hundreds of news site which can directly compete with your services that provide both newsletter + blog/news site. It looks like your site only exist to collect email addresses from subscribers. Can't say this is not a possibility.

This post have a two faces,a possitive sude and it's negative side. I can say that the possitive side of this issue is our bitcoin will becone more secure because there is an monitoring but I am afraid on the negative side that it can abuse about our privacy because they can view and see our every transaction I think our freedom as a bitcoin owner will violate.
How can it be more secure when essentially this is just a basic feature if you have a blockchain? What those exchanges did are pretty much looking/seeing where did their users spent their money (withdraw) and then try to look whether those addresses are gambling or other sites that are violating their ToS. There's no increase of security here, just basic blockchain explorer thing. Exchanges who do this must comply with regulations on their respective country, so if there's a positive side to this, is that they can close/delete any account that's somehow related to any banned services on that country.

I also think that McAfee don't know who is Satoshi Nakamoto and this is just made to have more publicity because he like to, and his prediction about crypto price failed.
If you ever believe what he said after his shady and sketchy past, then you've failed your lessons. McAfee alongside with CSW is probably the same kind of guy who loves to spread his beliefs without solid & proper evidence. Anyway, McAfee is fine with supporting lots of shady ICOs which is now trading 0.01x or so from the ICO price like Bobs Repair or KWH. If you still believe him, then you must be prepared for losing lots of your funds.

Seingat ane data di BPIP bisa langsung di update langsung (perlu di click "Check this profile now"). Tapi memang jadi ga efektif kalau mau dijadikan data buat update. BPIP memang modelnya scrap data berkala kayak merit log unofficial dari loyce dst. Eniwei mungkin bisa buat fork BPIP dengan update data lebih agresif, selama ada duitnya.

I was hoping that they'll open crypto to fiat trading in my country (though I won't use it yet). Offering crypto to crypto trading is not that groundbreaking and there are a lot of exchanges offering similar services already. On top of that, we can already do it without any KYC which I doubt will be possible with Coinbase.

yes, i think it's going to be really slow, not recomended for old people to invest, i mean i don't think bitcoin will ever lose it value and to be honest i think that in the near future we will get rid of real money, we're all going to switch to bitcoin and it might be worldwide, who knows.
Why old people are not recommended to invest here? I don't see any relations between age and investing in Bitcoin. On top of that older people tend to have more spare money to invest so I do think it's a good idea for them to invest here. What value are you talking about? Price? Because history has taught us many times that Bitcoin can rise and go down multiple times.

Finally, it's happening. I believe more and more case like this will happens around the world, eventually pushing people to use Bitcoin as a store of value while their fiat keeps losing its value due to inflation, and so on. If their hard earned money loss nearly 50% of its buying power in a year, they'll get wrecked really hard if they don't use Bitcoin or another long-term store of value.
Hopefully, their life will be better later on.

Until then, please can we just ignore this idiot?
At least this unnecessary attention and drama lead to the delisting of BSV from various exchanges. That should give him a reality check. But anyway, asking to ignore people like him is almost impossible. People love to talk or discuss something like this, even if it doesn't give them any benefits. What I am waiting for right now is to see Craig Wright sue Calvin Ayre and vice versa. It's only a matter of time.
Oh, more drama. More money and time to waste. What a nice life they have.

bounty programs are not much effective nowadays as they just encourage spamming and shitposting but don't help a project in marketing, also good influencers losing interest and avoiding joining bounties which pay in tokens because tokens usually don't get any value. so you better run an effective signature campaign with a trusted manager who could on-board high quality posters. so people read their posts and they get noticed about your project.
Doing a community program which rewards holders and supporters is also a good thing (like what LTO & Elrond does) as long as the project is solid. IMO promotion in Bitcointalk is suitable for mixer, while ICO project might not benefit greatly from that because I believe ICO speculators won't spend hours in here. They might find better odds through promotion via ICO channels such as ICODrops or something similar.

According to https://github.com/arcbit/arcbit-web, they do have 12 seed as a backup, so it's highly likely OP can still access his funds. Pretty sure he can recover it as long as he stores it somewhere safe.

Relaxing? What does this even mean? South Korea is probably one of the friendliest crypto country out there. There are a dozen exchanges and ICO/IEO coming out of nowhere and gone MIA after the ICO without any clear clarity on their progress. If the regulations are not 'relaxed', how is that even possible?

In theory, anyone can target Southeast Asia exchanges etc for their hack, not exclusively North Korean can do that. On top of that, it's easy to hide your track on the internet or even showing as if you're coming from North Korean. I can't find the report that was quoted by those media so it's hard to check it.
Whatever the truth is, it seems like North Korean as an entity (government) is blamed for the recent attacks to various crypto exchanges, malware and so on. In other words, their government is evil, asking people to do bad things like stealing money.

If you want to join any signature campaign, then make sure you read the rules first before you applied for it. Seems like you just created a new account to spam with Yobit sig.
Just stop it, spamming won't make you rich.

Every recent IEO that I know of sold out in a matter of seconds. That's impossible if you're human, so yeah all of them were bought by bots, or maybe it's the exchange itself that buy it early and then sold later when the trade opens. Everything around this hype stinks.
It's just the way they make money, and sadly lots of people are trying to ride on this train to get profits from retail investors.

Between these two Bitcoin charities, that's around 7,000 euros in donations, compared to the more than 1 billion euros donated by prominent philanthropists. It sounds like enough donations have already been received to cover the restoration entirely. I imagine the Church, given its global network, could probably have covered the costs itself anyway.
Yup, these so-called donations or charity is actually unnecessary. You don't need to donate your funds to someone who're able to fix their own problems. You should send it to somebody else who can't fix their own problems due to many reasons like poverty, limited access, doesn't have enough skill (so you should help them to learn it), etc. Well, they're all in here for the publicity it seems.
