Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries?
how? what can be done?
Nope if people have willingness to choose bitcoin for there own selves then they can help them selve by doing some small job in bitcoin and then if they have enough bitcoin to trade then trading is good income or time passes when don't have job bitcoin cna help people but not country it self.
How can you make this poor people to work in the bitcoin world? I know they are interested because they want to make extra money or to make their primary income here but how can you let them work when they do not possess the skills that a certain employer or a certain job would require.

The saying is always true, many are willing but few are chosen, therefore it cannot help the entire countries of the poor.
7942  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: November 14, 2016, 03:39:08 AM
I recently read some quote and i think this is something good to share in this topic.
"Do not save what is left after spending,  but spend what is left on saving." - Warren Buffet
That's probably would work as apparently Warren Buffet is a billionaire man and we have to follow his method. However, there's a problem with us as we lack discipline and we do prioritize our bills and sometimes we are trap to buy for our wants instead of needs and that makes us lose in our budgeting.
7943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: November 14, 2016, 02:33:57 AM
Why not it's not gambling even we can good profit with sports betting and it's less risky than dice, but in overall ratio it's very similar to gamble as like when we see over outcome, some matches looked very easy to predict but the result happening with unexpected way that is no doubt it's purely gambling.
Yes, the sports betting much better than Dice game. We can not predict the Dice game result like that in sports betting also same sometimes our guessing will not work. We will get unexpected results. When we do not predict the game means, it is called gambling. So I think there is no major difference b/w gamble and sports betting.
There is no 100% sure in any gambling games but we can choose what gambling games is the best and easy to predict like sports betting since its a sport games we can easily analyse who will win or not.. if you don't have knowledge about sports you can rely in sports tips but it is good to be check their plays before you can choose what is a good team to bet..
For dice game it is just a game like coin flip you will not know or predict what will be the next result..
Sports betting is really good, that's base on what I experience but you will be surprise that I am still down big although I appreciated sports betting. What's important to me is that I will be able to enjoy the game watching my favorite team play and adding some spice to feel the thrill more and that's my bet.
7944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: November 14, 2016, 02:30:01 AM
For me, yes, becuase Bitcoin currency serve as a currency of every country in the world. For example there is a task or service to be done that is paying bitcoin, there is no range of payment from where you came or what is your race. So for me Bitcoin do help poor countries just like us.
What's the total population in this world who can work with the service section you are talking, I think you are talking for just few people who can work for bitcoin, and I believe in my own capacity that working is the main benefits that would help a poor country. There must be something special that majority would benefit and not only a few numbers of the total population.
7945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 14, 2016, 02:23:24 AM
Cleveland Cavaliers vs Charlotte Hornets : Cleveland will be the winner in this Game .
Golden State Warriors   vs Phoenix Suns : Golden state Warriors Will be the winner .
Oklahoma City Thunder   vs Orlando Magic : Oklahoma city Thunder will be the winner .
Minnesota T-Wolves vs Los Angeles Lakers : Los Angeles Lakers will be the winner .

Charlotte started the season unexpectedly good, if one team can beat Cleveland in the East that would be Charlotte. Kemba Walker is having his best season yet.
Golden State is the favorite but handicap is 16.5 points. Will they win by 17 points? That's possible but I won't take that risk.
Oklahoma City is another favorite but I don't think they pass 9.5 handicap easily. I'll pass that match too.

Suns is one of my pick but against Golden State Warriors I'm thinking that they can do it as Suns are lack of outside shooters.

But still who knows but if they can make it with a lot of in bound plays and field goals and stops the outside shooting of GSW.

Then that is going to be a good way to get that game but inside the ring, KD is the one that needs to be focused.
It's hard to bet the warriors at home but as of the moment the suns still able to compete the game. Halftime score is (59 - 62) in favor of the warriors. Warriors team are not the same team as before, they would surely miss those players they let go..

It's still a long game and I hope the Phoenix suns can still cover. Too much spread for 16.5 suns underdog. "Dog shall bark"
7946  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: November 14, 2016, 02:19:16 AM
Best way for steady income is having a stable job.  I think there is no steady way to earn other than that. Having a job means fixed salary. Other ways to earn like having a business of restaurant doesn't give a steady income everyday.

That seems legit, stable job = stable income/salary. Of course, how can you have a stable income if you don't have stable job, maybe you should distinguish the ways of getting your profit. And with having your own business that is the only alternative way of getting good source of income, stable and own business = stable profit.

I don't think that you will always get stable profits in business as sometimes you may even suffer loss in it, but once you develop and establish your business in a proper way then over a period of time you can expect regular profits but at initial stage there is a full possibility that you will be having a negative income from it.

Good investment which give steady income are rare to look for, there are some options of course but not give 100% guarantee.
There is no such guarantee in investment but at least you should have big capital to get that.
If you want steady income, try to invest in business or create your own. I agree, you may suffer loss during the way.
It easier if you have lets say $100 Billion, you can invest partially to build hotels or boarding house and others.
For bitcoin investment, you may try invest as bankroll on some sites that provide it or better to make you're own local exchanges and merchant that accept bitcoin.

If a person has that high capital of $100 billion to invest then why would he take risk of investing, he will simply deposit that money in bank and would be satisfied with the interest that he would be earning from it annually as there is no risk involved in it and even the interest on $100 billion would be higher.
That's too much money if you were to ask me, I would not bother investing that amount, instead I will just put that in different banks and then live my life to the fullest. What's the point of working and making money if you have already the amount you need to live your life comfortably.

I guess we need to understand what the word contentment does mean.
7947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you gambled? on: November 14, 2016, 01:35:32 AM
I gamble online some every week. I don't keep track of how many games I play or how much I win or lose. I would guess that overall I have lost a little.
It's alright if you are not into making money, you do not need to track your record as long as you are happy with what you are doing. Gambling should be played for fun and what matters here is the experience we are getting and that experience should be something that will fully entertain us.
7948  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: November 14, 2016, 01:22:50 AM
Bitcoin is much safer in my eyes and its also usable all over the world globally, you do not have to transfer it and if you want to transfer it to family it can be done in seconds.
I couldn't agree with you more, bitcoin is an investment or currency as you wish to call it but it was never safe as cash. Bitcoin is unregulated and at any moment the government can decide to ban it and our effort will be gone. Use cash for good as you will need it in your daily lives, bitcoin on the other hand is just good for investment as of the moment.
7949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: November 14, 2016, 01:18:06 AM
Yes , its not easy especially for addicted gamblers, because they come back gambling every time hoping they win even if they lose big amounts by gambling. However its better to stop gambling if you make great loses.
You cannot argue with addicted gamblers because they will think that they know what they are doing. Giving up is easy for them due to the fact that they do not think of giving up, when an addicted gambler think, it is only on how to strategies his way to win in gambling but not on how to quit.

It's good that based on my experience I was help by my parents to stop and I made my family as my inspiration.
7950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: November 14, 2016, 01:12:36 AM
Depends if you want to make money or habe fun. Or try your luck at winning lots.
It is better to invest I'd you want to make money over a longterm that you can actually spend on yourself later. Ha!bling you probably will lose everything and if you gamble sometimes only then you might win.

But how you don`t see that gambling is also some sort of investment, you invest in your luck and your skills. That sounds much better then to invest in some site that promise you fortune and in long term this sites turn out to be ponzi schemes.
I will tell you one thing, gambling is like all other investments, if you wish you investment to bring you profit then you need to be serious, to have big money, in gambling you have risks, but already calculated. Its all in how you approach to your investment, how much informations you have and skills to use that for your profit.
I feel that when I was new in gambling, due to some kind of reading and listening with the videos posted on youtube that sports investing is what you called when you are skillful, I made an experiment but it does not workout well. We will know when we are in the game and have keep track our records, it's really hard to be a player but if we will just invest in gambling sites it would be easier.
7951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 12, 2016, 02:44:21 AM
Why not. More than banking criminals will love to use bitcoin fit they illegal transaction because bitcoin is anonymous and will help them to stay hidden from the bright. Also in silk road bitcoin is highly used because it doesn't have  much transaction charge, it doesn't have any barriers, it is pseudonymous and no one could ever track the transaction owner. So it's ease to use bitcoin for illegal activities.
This is not entirely right, criminals are mostly still using fiat for their illegal business bitcoin is just a small part of it, and second unless you take measures tracking your bitcoin transactions is very easy and there have been some raids that closed down some of those dark marketplaces.

Most of the illegal stuff happens with fiat, that's for sure. But no matter how small the number of Bitcoin related illegal activities are compared to fiat, people will always point their dirty finger at Bitcoin. If you talk to them and explain that fiat is the real problem, then they will either cut the discussion, or tell you that Bitcoin is the currency of the underworld. The media has brainwashed the average person to a serious level. No matter what good features of Bitcoin you highlight, for them it still doesn't make a difference.
You said it right, that's too obvious since we are still 1% of the total population in the world, although we may consider that illegal activities are rampant in crypto world and bitcoin is mostly use, we are still not a big threat and bitcoin is just a currency which can be use both in illegal and legal same with fiat.
7952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: November 12, 2016, 02:37:27 AM
Yap, this is why I say investing in Casinos is not like cloud mining, it comes in waves so you have to be really patient. It takes take to make some money. However, loses can come into waves too, do not forget that.

Yeah its far from cloud mining, since cloud mining or mining in general there is no guarantees.
But with gambling investments the math is there in the the house always wins in the end unless someone gets luck and destroys the profit.
Cloud mining investment are mostly scam, investing in gambling sites are legitimate as you know the game here and you can study on your chances, of course by knowing the reputation of the gambling sites where you entrust your money, it's also important that way.
7953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: November 12, 2016, 02:33:46 AM
There is situations you can have family members or services handle your money if you really wanted to quit that day.
Tho i see many gambling addicts choosing to play faucet only these days which is good in bad i mean their not stopping but their also not using their own money.
It's all about the will, if you have the will there's always a way. Just think that your future would not be better if you will continue to gamble.

Giving up is the last option for every gambling who are addicted and they keep on losing and they do not love gambling anymore. Get out immediately as there's till life ahead.
7954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 12, 2016, 02:26:10 AM
Its something that's been around since the beginning of human kind, its meant to be a form of entertainment people just take it to hard.
I guess you are on point, it's definitely for fun but due to the  fact that you can make money in gambling "easy", people are thinking but focusing in gambling they can make fortune on it. If only gambling sites will limit it's gamblers then probably we will not be addicted and of course we will enjoy more. But business as they are, they would not do that as they aim for the profit.
7955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: November 12, 2016, 01:11:00 AM
Bitcoin is a form of money and as we all know that money alone can't change any country's condition as most of other things are also needed for a nation to prosper and to be self sufficient but in terms of other vices like corruption, black marketing etc bitcoin can very well be the solution
CORUPTION It is a big problem of most poor countries. Although this malicious phenomenon flourishes in other countries where there are less people's living standards. Poverty is this phenomenon not win and bitcoin is better not even think to direct for these purposes.
Bitcoin does not help poor country. Because in bitcoin, rich investors are becoming richer while poor investors are getting fooled.
So you are saying that I got fooled and majority of the poor here? - I think you'll have to be careful with it brother because you do not know how progressive my life with bitcoin. I did not become poorer but slowly climbing up to the average life..

And you know what is the next level? I will be rich for sure. Trust in bitcoin is what I only have.
7956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: November 11, 2016, 03:15:11 AM
I stop myself from moving ahead a single step after losing, because I have responsibilities and I have a budget set for my gambling needs and apart from that, I don't use anything. It keeps me under control and helps me to recover my losses slowly.
Good decision you have here, always focus with your needs in life as gambling is just for fun. For you to be safe and you will be able to control yourself along the way, think that the money you have is already losing so when you lose you will not resort to chasing bets.
7957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: November 11, 2016, 03:11:34 AM
If Bitcoin really becomes the defacto currency, banks will only adopt them and remain rich. Business is business to them.
Banks do business but they still comply with the basic laws of the government, they are a business of trust and they want everything to be transparent. Bitcoin is under their watch list as we can transact here without giving enough information and we can do illegal activities, with banks they will not allow that.
7958  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Skills vs Luck *poll* on: November 11, 2016, 03:07:30 AM
When trading What Matters More Skills or Luck?
We need them both somehow in trading it depends if theres an investor or sponsor you will make some pumling in coin you'll gonna do is to wait till that coin will pump and wait for the profit.
I needs skills more than luck, I cannot master my luck but my skills for sure I can develop it. We are all entitled for our own luck as we are created by God, so focus on developing our skills and we can do that by educating ourselves in trading. There's information everywhere, we just need to find it out.
7959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: November 11, 2016, 02:12:19 AM
0.5% house edge is the lowest I ve seen so far. Has anyone found anything better?
None, I guess no site will operate with 0% house edge and you cannot even call that a house edge as there is no edge in the first place. That's the minimum they can offer so we should just accept that and play if we want to enjoy.

If there a gambling site with no edge, then probably it's a scam not a business.
7960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: November 11, 2016, 02:10:16 AM
if i'm rich i will still gamble but just for fun, but the fact is people who rich will dont have time to gamble cause they spend their time for another stuff like built a new business or go for trip, maybe they only can gamble for a while and focus for new life
Some rich people, are so rich that they can do some things that we can only do in a monopoly game and in fact I think that is the way they treat it as a monopoly game, maybe that is why for some rich people gambling is not really attractive.
For sure they are not attracted of making money in gambling but I believe they are attracted with having fun with it. Rich people has a lot of money to enjoy so they can do enjoy in gambling even we are thinking that we can lose big amount of money.

They can afford to lose where not all gamblers can.
