Alright, after I looked again at all the players in the 3 big teams like Barca, Real Madrid and PSG. So I will pick Barca, even though I'm sure also that Real Madrid can go farthest at UCL this time. So put me in with Barca. Grin Thank you!

Ok.  So here's the players of the side bet so far:

tokeweed:  City
buwaytress:  LFC
BitcoinSupremo:  Inter
Hhampuz:  Juve
hahay:  Barca

7962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 228: Woodley vs Till Info and Prediction Thread on: September 09, 2018, 12:48:00 PM
Till barely laid a punch on Woodley, I expected Woodley to win but no so easily. Shame for Till as he may not get another title shot for a long time now. Woodley proved why he’s the champ though with a really dominant performance. Who next for him now?

I really didn't think Till was deserving for a shot at the title tbh.  He first has to go thru Colvington imho.  Yeah he won vs Wonderboy Thompson, but it was so close that it could have gone Thompson's way too...  And he missed weight.

Quote
What's next? Covington perhaps?

Hopefully Robert Whitaker at MW.
7963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool £25 in btc to join on: September 08, 2018, 01:57:05 PM
^  You got it.  And yup I think so too...  I have a good feeling about Juve.

Can I join? If yes then I am in.

I think it'd be better if the side bet is open only to players of this pool and the EPL pool to avoid any complications.  Sorry.

*Saw the title.  Actually lol'd.*

I'd give you merit if I had some to spare for making me have my first laugh out loud moment of the day.  Thank you.  Grin

^  I'd say don't give up.  It will only be good for the community, the site owners and BTC itself in the long run if the gambling industry in the space flourishes.  Respect to all of you who has the balls to start a business in the wild wild west that is crypto.

We had attacks at BetKing recently where the site was offline for hours at a time.

Cloudflare on it's own is useless for DDOS attacks as I'm sure you know.

I ended up writing some code that helps a lot and had no issues since if you want to discuss.

Assuming that it's not something more than DDOS.

Good to see you players can still withdraw.

Yup...  Bitsler handled the situation quite well imo.  When I heard that they were attacked, I thought it was something like 'hacked with millions stolen' causing them to shut down permanently.  I mean the ddos thing happening is not good, but there's really no need to panic.

Props to their team, and hopefully they get their site back up asap.
7967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 08, 2018, 10:21:45 AM
I'm pretty sure that all the spending done on the stadium shouldn't affect the club's spending on transfers.  I mean the Spurs board should already have figured all the spending needed even before any spending has been done, right?
7968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 08, 2018, 10:08:28 AM
^  For Man United to get out of the rut their in, then it's time for them to accept that they're not and will not ever be back in the level of dominance under the SAF era without giving the club some time to rebuild.  So they tried taking a short cut by spending big on the past couple of transfer windows...  It didn't work, it's now time to get down to business, get a manager who's willing to go thru the rebuilding process and actually rebuild.
7969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 228: Woodley vs Till Info and Prediction Thread on: September 08, 2018, 10:00:57 AM
^  I'm actually glad Till made weight and with one pound to spare.  Lol.  I guess the UFC was kinda playing it safe by making Usman weigh in too.  Dana White wasn't taking any chances this time.  Grin  But even if Till misses weight, I still wanna watch the bout go on.

The face off was just your typical face off with both fighters keeping their cool.

^  Hhampuz already got dibs on Juve.  So you have to pick another club.  Actually I picked them first but then as the side bet's organizer, I gave way and went with Man City (not changing it again).

Anyway feel free to pick any club you want that hasn't been picked yet.
7971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 07, 2018, 05:20:45 PM
^  That's cos Tottenham is a selling club, not a buying club (of established super stars) thanks to Daniel Levy.  But he's doing a brilliant job at it tho.  It's like how BVB is run.  But don't expect them to be always going for the glory like City under the Mansours.  Those guys run City like it's their play thing.  Lol.
7972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 228: Woodley vs Till Info and Prediction Thread on: September 07, 2018, 05:12:22 PM
^  We'll just have to see on weigh in day how Till looks tho.  He was walking around with 180 - 182 pounds yesterday akaik.  If he looks dehydrated, then the lines should tilt back to Woodley.
7973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool £25 in btc to join on: September 07, 2018, 05:02:39 PM
I wanna join the fun, and add my team to the list, I will gladly spend 10 dollars to support the team I support in real life even in Champions. So tokeweed, count me in for the side bet too. My choice is: INTER the team to go the furthest this time.

Ok cool.  Hopefully we get more people in the side bet...  And the pool.

BCT's CL Pool Side Bet:  Which Club Progresses the Furthest?

tokeweed:  Juventus
buwaytress:  Liverpool
BitcoinSupremo:  Inter Milan

I want to play this but I have Juventus as well so not sure how we'd do that, will you and I just split all the money? (It's a 100% given that Juventus will win CL)  Grin

Hmmm...  That would be unfair for the rest, so we can't do that.  Don't you have a second choice?  Grin

But as the organizer of this side bet, I'd be willing to go for my second choice.  I'll change my bet to Man City if Supremo and buwaytress are cool with it.  Smiley

Anyone else wanting to sign up. I'm sure more people requested to do one for the Champions League. Not much point doing it with only a handful of players.

I'd be willing to go in with more to help cover up that we are less people. Not sure about others though..

Yup me too.  I'd be willing to double the stakes but no more.

I just heard of the attack at FJ's Discord.  Hang tight everybody and don't panic.  I thought the attack was so bad that Bitsler was shutting down for good.  Lol.
7976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 228: Woodley vs Till Info and Prediction Thread on: September 06, 2018, 12:39:19 PM
^  But Woodley has prolly learned a lot after that beating he got from Mac Donald, right?  He can't let Till get aggro on him from the start.  Dan Hardy said it right.  Woodley has to show Till that he can't be run over...  A big body shot or a double leg could do the trick imo, and let Till have second thoughts.

I don't know where else to put this, but since I know some of you guys love betting on football (soccer) and hang out more itt, I'd like to invite you guys to a UEFA CL betting pool, if you're interested:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4919683.0

Sorry for being ot, feel free to delete or have it deleted.  Thanks.

So it's just the 7 of us?  Nobody from the EPL pool wanna have more fun?  Grin  I think the CL with the KO stage and the bracket after that would make playing in this pool a lot more interesting imo.

Hey guys...  Here's a video of krach's predictions at his Degenbet channel at YT.  I recommend you guys watch it as he gives good insights on the matches.

We have the same bets on Woodley and KK.  Grin

Degen Bet Predictions:  UFC 228

Oh and Woodley's line is fading.  He's up to 2.15 now.  Hmmm...  Bad weight cut, recurring shoulder injury...?  Hydrogen?  Grin
7980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 228: Woodley vs Till Info and Prediction Thread on: September 05, 2018, 01:57:48 PM
^  Got any notes for Andrade vs KK?  I made a small bet on KK at 4.25.  She's obv mentally strong judging from her fight vs JJ, so she could get lucky as long as she tries to finish all three rounds.

And this video makes me wish I made a bet on Till when he was at 2.30 or so a couple of weeks ago.  Sad
