The next Champions League tournament will be starting on the 18th of September 2018 and due to the success of the previous Premier League and World Cup pools I have decided to do one for the UEFA Champions League. The entry fee will again be £25 in bitcoin and the prizes will be distributed between the top five players who gain the most points. The actual prize amounts will depend on how many users join but all money in the pot will be distributed between the winners. We will be using the Superbru website to conduct the tournament and points are awarded as follows:

A couple players have some concerns about the lack of 'privacy' in Superbru and want a predictor site like what BBC had.  I suggest somebody find a better site and suggest it to hilarious.

Tbh I really don't mind Superbru's lack of 'privacy' but I don't mind playing in a BBC predictor-esque site either.  I just don't want some players leaving the pool.

I used Champions league predictor on uefa.com website in previous seasons. So, we can try it if some people don't like Superbru. I'm only not sure is it possible to create closed leagues on Uefa.com.
But I don't know what is exeactly wrong with Superbru?

What lack of privacy exactly? I won't be changing site unless there's something much better. Superbru is likely as good as you're going to get though.

Let's go with this Superbru thing, I checked around and I found nothing better so count me in for the Champions also. I know I will not win here as I am not a big fan of Champions but I try.

I think some players don't like the fact that other players could see their predictions after the lock.  I don't mind it personally, but if changing sites helps keeping all the EPL pool players in to play the CL pool, then I guess it's the better move.

But your decision is final, and I'll still play using whatever site anyone wants.

I think the Superbru site is very good and I don't think there is a problem there about privacy, but if anyone finds a better predictor site, why not.

So we got only 4 players from the EPL pool interested in this pool...?  This pool is a lot more fun imo, especially when we reach the KO stages and beyond kinda like the World Cup.

Of course I'm joining this pool! Didn't see it until today though, but add my name in.

Liverpool's first game is against PSV away, I'm somewhat amazed that bookies put them at strong favourites... I mean this is a Pot 1 team vs Pot 3 team. A league champion vs a team whose best finish was runner's up in CL. All the same, took an early bet already at 2.19.

@tokeweed: any interesting side bets you got in mind? $10 on Liverpool to progress further than a team of your choice? See how kind I am?

OK cool! Juventus could go far, and I think it was just a freaky result that knocked them out last season (yes, Ronaldo is a freak! ), so for me winning a knockout tournament is a bit of luck more than skill... the team to meet the most bad luck will have a hard time. For me Liverpool losing Mo Salah last CL was absolutely bad luck, even if Ramos had a history of aiming for the opponent's biggest goal threat (just watch all his games against Messi!)

$10 bucks I need to win back from you. Tiebreakers? Or tie shares pool?
