Eventually, those exchanges will need to follow some security rules and checked regularly by authorities, simply because they hold thousands or millions of money from their user, just like banks. As a community or user that use their service, the only thing that you can do to prevent something from happening is to withdraw your coins asap (remember that after you send it to them, essentially you lose control of that coins). 

Blaming exchanges or hackers won't solve any problem, you need to prepare and anticipate it while the government should take care of the criminal actions.

Are you saying that you want to convert your lightning balance to main chain balance?
AFAIK you need to exchange it via another platform like ZigZag. It is not possible to send your LN balance to a classic Bitcoin address directly.

Agree with this point. I think naming it as Plutus is enough, you can describe and add the portfolio simulator etc on the description page. It might require some time to market your app but if your product is good enough people will eventually know about it, like what happened to Electrum, Mycellium, etc.

Instead of giving a wrong impression, might as well start with something mysterious.

Because they want to monetize the site imo. That's probably the first thing that comes in mind if you run a website. If it's not profitable (don't have enough exposure etc) then having that site needs more work.

Sounds like you use some kind of quick exchange site like Changelly. It feels weird if your transaction was stuck as most of them would use automatic conversion that would get triggered after you've submitted the details. You mentioned last Saturday, so it's around 1 week now?

That sounds terrible, if contacting support doesn't help, maybe name the exchange here so people can be more cautious in the future.

In my country, you can get 'life insurance' if you become government employees or register on some insurance platform. The bad news is unless you're extremely smart your chance to become one is small because corruption is happening here and there (though it is decreased by now). I personally don't want to become one, though my life might be insecure, that's the risk because I love doing what I love and be free from unnecessary rules.

I also had the same habit in the past but now I tend to report it to the mod directly. I think we've been very lenient about this and on top of that, this no-plagiarism rule is posted on top of the board (sticky thread) so if they don't even bother to read it, I believe they don't really have the right to enjoy the forum.

But some OP can change too, however, the number is too small. It's inefficient for me.

A disclaimer without proper due diligence is not enough. Just saying that you're not involved in the project doesn't necessarily mean you're free from being 'punished' when the project turned out to be a scam unless you've done your DD and post the details. I personally would add my own due diligence details in the disclaimer so that people can read about it and point out where I'm lacking, therefore instead of joining any project, I can filter it out from the beginning.

The problem is there are thousands of people out there who joined any social media bounty that they can find in order to get some tokens without even understanding what kind of project they're promoting.

Using adblock or noscript might help us, but the first and most important protection is your own awareness. Make sure that you don't browse carelessly by clicking any pop-up windows that look shady. Most of the times it shows up on download site, porn site or something similar. You can also use Linux as most virus/malware/etc are targetting Windows users (though of course, this doesn't mean you'll be free from anything).

Apart from reading & discussing in trading threads, there are plenty of trading guides that are available on the internet in the form of book, video, or article. A site like Babypips, Investopedia and so on is a good choice to begin your trading journey. After you read some of the guides, practice it by trading on some exchanges.

Any trading book, even though it discussed classical trading on stocks, can be applied to cryptocurrency. The differences between crypto and other assets are its speed & volatility, but the basic, like the chart, volume and so on is the same. Happy learning.

If you want to make sure if there's a malware that attacks your clipboard or not, try to copy some BTC address on your browser and then on wallet like Electrum, and paste it somewhere. See if your copied address is the same or not. If it is not the same, it's very likely that you've been attacked by malware.
