Vigens - You knew this would happen, why do you keep trolling everyone over that coin? I still reckon that it is a collectors item and it will be worth a lot of dough. For early Monero investors this is bread crumbs. Just because people have money doesnt mean they should grossly over pay for something. Cant just go pitch bill gates a nostalgic computer piece and charge him $30k "because thats crumbs" to him.

I made you an offer. You are CrazyGoNuts (a phrase used by Strong Bad in the "The Luau" episode of Homestar Runner) if you think I'm going to pay new GPU prices for GPUs that have been used for possibly a year or more, mining 24 hours a day.
Why don't you put your 5 to 10 year old car up for sale for its brand new sticker price while you're at it?
Apples and oranges....your car will not make you money or ever roi itself. Its bought for different reasons. He is not that far off with prices in this market.

You had an error rate of 25% while Kialara reported 22% of the Moon coins had errors and had to be done over by the same mint. Sorry for your problems making collector coins seems to be fraught with stress. Appreciate your efforts to help the community and hope you are making enough from the venture to make it all worthwhile. Thanks again!
I'm very new to coinmaking so I'm not sure if that is an acceptable rate but to me it is way too high haha.. It's all good though, currently in talks with several other mints and will shortly start production of the 2nd design. Trying not to get it out before all the previous customers have received their coins though.. Thanks for the kind words! That is very high. You werent asking for proof coins and at a high volume, there should be no more than a couple unacceptable coins from a mint like that. Sorry you had to go through this trouble but i guess better to find out mow than later. Maybe a thread where some makers here that have publicly stated their mint can state their experience to either feed others info or discourage people from using a mint like this. All of the Dignitas coins and bars were done by NWT and with the exception of a few spot of hand painted gold, were near flawless. I'm sorry to hear you had problems. Please let me know if they correctly rectify the situation otherwise I will have to find a new mint for future designs. With all the mints out there i wouldnt risk it. Last 2 we know if (kialara and hhampuz) both runs were less than satisfactory on many coins. No response from customer service after you give them business and they have your coins that were bad is completely unacceptable and would not recommend anyone move forward with them in the future

I have a post-fork if needed. Shipping from the UK Hey AT101ET How much are you selling it for ? One would be nice Thanks Hey, Not really sure how much they're worth. How does 0.00275 sound? Definately a solid deal for one of these you should pick one of these up at that price.

I might try casting a couple of these in silver. This is just a really quick mockup that took maybe 2 minutes, I'll play around with it a bit more later. Having a loaf of bread seems more appropriate than a round coin. Mockup > 3D print > Sand mold cast. There would be a bit of texture to the bar, but that might just make it look grainy like bread hopefully? Oh wow a silver loaf. Salty how much silver would you think that it would be for the full loaf?

I'll give $2000 for 10 of the 1060s. They are used, who knows how much you BIOS modded and overclocked the hell out of them. I insist on PayPal for buyer protection, and / or escrow from here. PM me.
Do you really expect us to believe that you voluntarily cut them back to 70% power? I think you're lying.
I'd highly advise you not do business with this guy cashen.. Thats a pretty broad statement, might i ask why? And if escrow is used buyer is protected As adaseb said, this guy sounds exactly like a typical craigslist buyer. I mean shit, dude accused him lying straight up on the first post. That is NOT the kind of guy you want to do business with. Someone else will snatch the cards up. My bad it sounded as though you said not to do business with this guy, cashen. Misunderstanding all good.

I don't know why a lot of you are assuming it will have something to do with bitcointalk .. I didn't mention anything of it in the OP, did I? We'll just have people here come up with designs and then we vote, that's all Hhampuz your looking at it wrong you shouldn't put bitcointalk on there , should just make it a different design yes but not forum related

Hmmm The last "Forum coin" was a big success ... oh wait... Just ... no....

I agree with you on this. The forum is such a smart part of the bitcoin/crypto ecosystem. By making a chip that is specific to this "forum bubble", we are excluding the rest of crypto. So many people stay away from here because of the so called "toxic" environment not to mention the people who don't like theymos for whatever their reason. You need to think on a larger scale... the 50 or so collectors here are great, but you need to make your product appeal to a wider audience and you will get a much better reception. Based on previous item that were forum-centric, I would advise to stay away from this branding.... but then again what do I know Fair points. But then again I don't see this as creating a product for the purpose of reaching a broader audience.. This would be our own Satori Chip and I'm sure most of the people here would keep theirs, not try and flip them somewhere else.. The people that took part in the Satori GB's were all from here, none from the outside Yes it can originate here but i would definately sell to a larger audience past here. 4-6 years ago yes it was basically here and a couple other small spots but the whole point is to further the reach of crypto. A unique piece from satori would be great to give/sell to an audience that doesnt "live" here

I can now confirm that I was shorted by several chip sets. Unfortunately I’ll be leaving my first neg -a good lesson on the importance of escrow.
Maybe that was a mismanagement of his other business partner, that one work the first time maybe give it another go. Chi all kidding aside its people like this that put people off when trying to create a physical bitcoin/alt echosystem here, sorry to hear you got scammed...would drop an appropriate neg

Yeah i would stay away from bitcointalk.org focused chip but i dont think that was the intention viz, i think it was to secure the idea for the required moq and see if some people here can strum up some design ideas. If thats the case then im in, only if they are loaded, there arent many people selling loaded coins/chips these days. Id say a submit your design people who commited funds vote on design and go forward. Im in depending on pricing.

Its a decent deal for the card but just a heads up i think forum rules allow for one self bump per day. Good luck with your sale

Cryptopia !! Or Binance Both require large sums to get added, maybe a crowd wide community (to include the reddit community) to raise funds for a legit exchange. Wouldnt hurt and im sure with the amount of followers on reddit we can come up with the required funds

Delicious bready goodness!
Ugh. Bread is so lackluster. Sure garlic is a life necessity, but bread, meh. Now talk to me bout Bagels and I'll listen for days. Where's my damned bagelcoin at?! :D https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1011593.msg10976151;topicseenAsk and yee shall recieve. Should be a new drinking game, sit around with your friends, come up with a word and see if there is a coin named after it. If there isnt take a shot (at this point wont be much shots taken )

Unfortunately 90% of Newbie accounts are scams so I don't blame the Escrow people to be very cautious.
I understand being cautious with new accounts. It was just frustrating to not get the help of trusted members. To gain ranking takes months, not so helpful when buying/selling miners now since time is of the essence. But, that's their prerogative, can deny service to who they choose. Thank you, Threads such as this DO help newbies learn how easy they could be scammed from the sometimes nuanced scams (shipping payment scam). Any experience or warnings with escrow.com? Website looks fine, just don't know if trusted here. 10% fee a bit steep though. Ive used minerjones and philipma for escrow either one of them 2 should be able to help next time if you are looking for an escrow

So what is the moq now? Way more than 10k it seems. Unless you have a very large investor i dont think a group of miners will be buying 50k-100k 1070ti cards in one fell swoop from this community and be able to line up all the details, funding etc. Although the price point is interesting....i could be wrong and hope i am.
MOQ is 200,000 units, and we do have extremely large buyers interested. Working on setting up meetings this week. I'm very optimistic after today's calls. Dam thats a crazy amount of cards. Ok will follow im just a possible small amount but will grab on if the cards fall right
