7962  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Cebu City government eyeing crypto payments on: April 24, 2021, 01:04:29 PM
7963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 23, 2021, 11:13:32 PM
I agree! Manny Pacquiao could announce his retirement this year. Among his plans there is talk of two fights.

Quote
In terms of an opponent, Pacquiao has now confirmed WBN’s previous story that Mikey Garcia would be first before the ‘Pacman’ hopes to face Terence Crawford later in 2021.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.worldboxingnews.net/2021/03/10/manny-pacquiao-las-vegas-farewell/amp/

My wish is that his plans are fulfilled because it would be a great farewell as every champion deserves.

After boxing, his next goal is the Presidency of the Philippines that the next elections will take place in 2022. There is no doubt that Pacquiao has the charisma, desire and preparation to meet this new challenge in his life.
I hope so that he also retires and only focuses on one career that he's really wanting to spend the rest of his life. He has the charisma but the other parties have a better candidate. But not to mention that anymore because this thread is still all about Manny's fight against Crawford which still has no information and update regards the settlement of it.
7964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: April 23, 2021, 10:38:53 PM

Not only a few people are thinking that bitcoin is a scam. Even these days with the help of mainstream media and popular institutions that have invested in bitcoin.
There are many people that don't believe in it and still think that bitcoin is a scam because of those scammers that have been using it to their tricks. That's the bad impression bitcoin gets from those scammers.

Probably if someone made a statement bitcoin is a scam they don't even know what crypto is. they also don't know what blockchain is. bitcoin is a revolution in computer and internet technology. if they don't know bitcoin in the first place how they could believe what potential in bitcoin?
If someone tells them that bitcoin is a scam and they're not knowledgeable about it, they would plainly believe that person without digging much about the true potential of bitcoin.
There are a lot of people that only listen but don't verify information that they're hearing from other people. It's a sad thing that many are gullible with false information without doing depth research.
7965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on TV? on: April 23, 2021, 10:04:26 PM
There's no need for bitcoin to be advertised on national TV in different countries because just what we're seeing the media covers it, that should be fine.
What's possible to happen in the future is that those crypto related services or businesses are the ones who would get exposure through TV to let the people know what they offer and they're also with us as an adopter that accepts payment in bitcoin.
7966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run is over? on: April 23, 2021, 09:30:06 PM
Today the market crashes again  BTC drop down to 48k and back to 50k  im not sure bull run is over and change to bear or not.

but we need to careful
Not yet over. Just after that very huge dip, there will be a lot of people that would think that the bull run is over. Those are less experienced people in cryptocurrencies.
After all of those years that we've seen, they only look to the market as an increasing form of market but don't realize that whether it falls down to $30k, the price is still high and can be said that it's still on the bull run.
7967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: April 23, 2021, 05:22:16 PM
Many people are scared of jumping into what they don't understand. Many are not informed about bitcoin and how it works. Some people needs someone to emphasize to their understanding what bitcoin is all about. Few persons actually thinks  bitcoin is a scam. But  truthfully, bitcoin is safe. Is not what one will be afraid of getting involved, also very secure. They just need enough information.

7968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: April 23, 2021, 04:42:08 PM
I don't know him but yeah, usually at that age, in PBA that's already in retirement and can no longer play. But with what he has done, before he retires, there's already a bad description to his name whether he's going to retire soon or not yet.
He should've put himself into a clear conscience and explain what has happened and what made him involved in that incident.

If I remember it right he's with the same league with Marc Pingris on Welcoat Team. A high flyer guy. They are popular before being drafted in the PBA so the hype about them is already there when they finally enter the oldest basketball league in Asia. I didn't even know that he's still active in basketball today and just saw his name on the news being involved on that rigged games.

Rain or Shine owner saddened by former player Jojo Tangkay's suspension
It was his choice to get involved in this controversy. He's already a veteran and he should choose better for his career. But he chose the wrong one and chose to be involved with this incident.

At least these guys are already expose now, it will affect the league or the entire sports but at least the management and the basketball association are doing to eliminate this kind of people in the league, they ruined the reputation of our league, they should be sanctioned with the biggest punishment.
The management really have to do their thing upon finding out that such things are happening.
7969  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there such thing as a “safe strategy”? on: April 23, 2021, 04:08:14 PM
safe strategy you can apply classic strategies that exist today. choose a low-risk coin such as bitcoin buy at the lowest price and hold it until the price has increased, then sell at the high price. it is the most effective strategy today and the safest ever
Simple and very effective strategy but many don't want to listen and follow that strategy because they think that it's a wrong strategy. It's very common to see people buying bitcoin and holding it until the price goes up.
Like its price today that it's down below $50k, this is a good price for somebody to buy bitcoin and wait until its price goes above the buying price and you decide to sell or keep holding.
7970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Or Invest ? on: April 23, 2021, 11:53:19 AM
I think that on the growing market you can do successfully both things! Because everything is growing and go up to success! Now we have good time for everything!
Only if you've got enough experience to do both things. Being an investor doesn't mean you're also good as a trader. But I think the advantage is in the traders.
They know how both things work as they're very much aware of the risk. While investors, they're also risk-takers but it's okay if they're not good at trading.
As long as both works for you, no need to think of any confusion and incompatibility.
7971  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Another Amazing Week For Dogecoin on: April 23, 2021, 11:30:46 AM
7972  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Convenient as Possible sa Pag-deposit ng Fiat to buy Crypto on: April 23, 2021, 10:56:55 AM
Pero kung ako papipiliin sa legit at trusted either of the two.
7973  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading signal work or not? on: April 22, 2021, 09:35:13 PM
They won't just give you free signals and if there's a fee, that's actually where they're earning by giving their opinions about the market.
I guess there will not be a problem for any trader to pay them a fee when those signals help traders to earn something. But, traders will feel the real pain if they need to pay fees for signals and those signals lead them to book losses at most of the times.
If proven to be helpful and effective, we're like that, we would be happy to pay them but if those signals are nothing and they're mere opinions of those group owners, nothing to be expected then.

I think they will have that kind of arrangement, if you are new to their channel, they will accommodate as best as they can up until you will ask if there will be VIP membership. But anyhow, it is okay to be part of these free trading signal groups as you can get some ideas. But if you need to pay for their tips, I don't think that's a very smart move. Better do your own trading and learn some tips and tricks along the way. Most paid trading signal groups are not really worth your resources.
The ideas that you will get to them freely might also be found by doing searches on search engines.

I was just browsing on FB and then saw this discussion. What can you say about Williams as a rookie that demands a higher salary per year?

7975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MemeCoin Market Analysis on: April 22, 2021, 08:22:43 PM
Now, meme coins are the ones that's being targeted by project makers. After the huge success of Dogecoin and let's say Shiba Inu too.
The new projects are no longer pushing themselves very hard to compete with the best coins in the market but they're wanna be the same as Dogecoin because they seem to find it easier than being a good project that's being bought by many.
7976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: April 22, 2021, 07:40:30 PM
Jojo Tangkay, one of my favorite players since PBL to PBA days was also part of that rigged game.

Can't believed he participated in that. Even he's no choice, he can voice out that in the public or seeks help on authorities to keep him safe from those rigged initiators. He's lucky that at 46 years old he still allowed to play.

Close to retirement now but give dirt to his famous name.

7977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: April 22, 2021, 04:46:04 PM
When bitcoin had a price of about $ 64,000 prior to the last drop, ethereum climbed slightly above $ 2,500. It now has a price tag of about $ 55,000 and ethereum $ 2,637. This coin is still more alive than all living cryptocurrencies. Hopefully, with a successful update, the ethereum price will be above $ 5,000 this year.
$5,000 - $10,000.
Those are the prices that I've seen that others are hopeful with the price of Ethereum which is likely and longer questionable unlike before. For the past 3 years, Ethereum has able to reach its all time high for this year and it's hard to think of it that it was able to reach this high but it's real.
7978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feedback Request: Would you buy a coin that can go only up? on: April 22, 2021, 04:16:20 PM
From that term, there's only one classification that we can see from that and that's likely a scam.
Right on the money, scam!
Yup, that's the sound of it if it just continues going up. There's no correction, there's no balance on its market means that sounds like a ponzi scam.

Thats not how the real market working, cmon. Im not sure that this is possible
That's right, it's impossible to have that sequence for a legitimate cryptocurrency.
7979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: April 22, 2021, 11:51:07 AM
100% disrespect to the game of basketball, but an advantage for those who bet on the winning team. I think this happens a lot but more subtle in the pros or perhaps in the NBA. Not a team as a whole, but in the NBA remember when James Harden disappeared vs. the Spurs? A lot of factors can be considered
but a massive shift and obvious display of lack of effort isn't so hard to miss in this kind of sport.
Not in the NBA anymore I think. But maybe yes, in the past that there were some isolated cases that have happened through it but it's different by this time.
There's really big money in basketball that makes these players agree what they don't want to do. They deserve the sanction and ban.
There are issues on NBA too about being rigged on some games which are bit obvious but this isnt as rampant compared into those minor leagues that do happen because if we do

really think off about the possibilities then its there but it wont really be that common or that be too obvious. So i would be skipping out on NBA but rather sticking into those

professional games just like on that video given which those gameplays are purely shit and damn obvious.
In minor leagues, they're really rampant because the attention that they get is unlike the popular and big conferences and leagues worldwide or even in the local leagues.
What's sad and triggering is that even after watching the obvious video, they're denying it and putting the blame into the others not themselves.
7980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is best Altcoin to buy now on: April 22, 2021, 11:03:58 AM
Almost every altcoin got a discount and sale for this day so you choose those top altcoins except Ethereum, it has managed to get back to $2,500. But if you're having plans to hold it for longer term, you should be fine buying it while it's on that price range.
BNB, Litecoin, just those common altcoins that you should buy and you're good holding them if you don't want to have any headache with pumps and dumps.
