7961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Die Because of China? on: April 12, 2018, 05:32:14 AM
China is still all over this place. I guess this concern has long been settled. China has indeed implemented some very strict regulations against Bitcoin and cryptocurrency exchanges, but I have read somewhere that Bitcoin is still very much alive there. One can even buy Bitcoins in China until now. Well, accordingly, China has also some laws against jaywalking but jaywalking is still very much prevalent there. So what we're making here is an unnecessary fuss.
7962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the advantages of having Bitcoin? on: April 11, 2018, 11:31:36 PM
The only thing I know about Bitcoin is that it is a virtual 'money' but what are the other use of it? What are your advantages for having a bitcoin?  Roll Eyes

One of the advantages of having Bitcoin is that you are in.  Wink I mean, you are part of what is new and what is going to rule in the future years. That itself is kind of cool already, being part of the future technology. Another advantage would be that Bitcoin is accepted in a lot of countries all over the world, which means that whenever you go to another country where Bitcoin is accepted, you do not have to convert the local fiat of the country you are coming from into the local fiat of your country destination. That is already a big help. And as virtual money, you get to spend them in so many online shops.
7963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hold or sell? help me on: April 09, 2018, 01:48:42 AM
Currently I own a lot of altcoin, I bought them at ico. My account is being downgraded several times. There are many people who say bitcoin will continue to decrease, so altcoin prices also decreased compared to USDT. So now, should I sell them and wait for the price to buy back? Give me advice  Sad Sad

You have to have some logical basis for your actions. If you sell right now, would you have gained some instead of losing some? Do some mathematical computation first. If you are losing then perhaps the better action is to wait for the market to somehow get back to its former strength before finally selling. Because right now, the market is really performing bad.

And please do not listen to random people who are not even credible individuals to talk about Bitcoin's prices. They do not know much actually.
7964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin legal??? on: April 08, 2018, 09:13:42 AM
Bitcoin is of interest to law enforcement agencies, tax authorities, and legal regulators, all of which are trying to understand how the cryptocurrency fits into existing frameworks. The legality of your bitcoin activities will depend on who you are, where you live, and what you are doing with it.

Actually, the legality of Bitcoin depends on the specific country as there are many countries that clearly spell out the legality or illegality of Bitcoin in their jurisdictions. Of course, to those countries that have already considered Bitcoin legal, the particular use of it will be the one that will finally determine whether a certain amount of Bitcoin is used legally or not. Those countries that did not make a clear law regarding Bitcoin's legality will also depend on how the Bitcoin is used in particular.
7965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be more profitable in the upcoming years? on: April 07, 2018, 02:19:45 AM
So 2017 proved to be the best for the bitcoin till now but still the great Officials of many companies are busy in predicting the greater roadmap of btc in 2018 and so on so will it be possible for bitcoin to go more and more high ?

It is not only possible, it is definitely going to happen 100 percent. There is no doubt about it. The price of Bitcoin has always been rising. Of course, it also went through some serious decrease in its value over the years of its existence. That is something Bitcoin cannot avoid since it is depending on its demand worldwide. But the overall Bitcoin performance is still very much vibrant despite the dumping that is happening until now. We will be witnessing Bitcoin break its all time high soon.
7966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a True Believer? on: April 06, 2018, 05:26:56 AM
A lot of you here are responding on the affirmative but apparently we are not on the same page. If you are a true believer of Bitcoin then you should not only treat Bitcoin as a source of money. Bitcoin is not like that, if we try to look back a little and check its real purpose. Bitcoin is not a way to earn money. Bitcoin is originally the new money. It is invented particularly to be spent and used to pay. If you are really a true believer of Bitcoin then you should use Bitcoin the way it should be used.
7967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 20 year old girl with 300 bitcoin, still in a pity situation. on: April 05, 2018, 01:06:30 PM
Met a girl who has been working on a restaurant for mere 200$ a month with some tips in hand. On a conversation she started to elaborate about her life and in between the conversation turned towards cryptocurrency. By the time, she stated she has got 300 bitcoin in her wallet. While the price was around $10 she has given it to her Sister to keep hold of it and keep it secure. Her sister has made use of it and invested into lot of properties. Now when asked about the bitcoin, she shows bare hands. Now she was unable to do anything, and surviving with the $200+ salary per month. Don't you feel pity, it really hurts on hearing the tearful words coming out from her.

The act of entrusting something very valuable to anyone other than yourself is a very risky thing. Even if it is your sister, or brother, or parents, or any family member or loved ones, you should still keep a little reservation. Their plans might not be the same as yours. And if ever they fail with their own plans they will not only fail themselves, and that which you entrust to them, but also all your efforts and sacrifices. Bitcoin is one very precious asset that should not just be entrusted to anyone else.
7968  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: April 05, 2018, 11:40:11 AM
Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p

I guess you have already made your decision about your investment plan. As for me, I believe you have good choices of coins although I think it would be a little better if you made your portfolio a little more diverse. But then it is good enough for me. The sad truth however is that probably from the time you have made your decision, your portfolio's value is down. The good side of it is that you are planning to hold your coins for about 5-10 years. You will definitely have more than a hundred fold of your starting investment by that time.
7969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: April 05, 2018, 10:38:18 AM
The recent bitcoin price volatility is particularly large, but the price of eth has been very stable, you choose to buy eth or bitcoin?
 Tongue Tongue Tongue

I choose to hold both. Why would I choose only one when the two options are both great and that you can have the two of them? The markets of both Bitcoin and Ethereum are volatile. You cannot escape from one of them and shift to another to avoid a volatile market. The entire crypto market is after all volatile. One more thing, stability is not a thing about crypto prices, may it be Bitcoin or Ethereum. There is always fluctuation in.
7970  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Learn how to invest BTC on: April 05, 2018, 09:24:49 AM
I want to know more about BTC but don't know where to start. Can you help me with this?

I think this is a lot easier than it seems to you. You just have to start at one point and then the next will naturally follow. The basics will have to come first. Perhaps a few guide questions would help.

1. What is Bitcoin?
2. What are the goals and objectives of this technology?
4. What are the features of Bitcoin? And what do these features mean or imply?
3. What is blockchain?
4. What has it got to do with Bitcoin?
5. How does Bitcoin acquire value?

These are just 5 of the basic question that you should have in mind in getting to know Bitcoin. As I've said, the rest will naturally follow.
7971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS STILL FAMOUS on: April 05, 2018, 06:23:34 AM
Bitcoin remains famous despite all its ups and downs because it is the best solution to our old currency system. We have gone from hard cash-based to cashless such as cards and online methods of payments but still these are all based on our old fiat currency system. And this is the reason why Bitcoin is still the number one option. Bitcoin is decentralized unlike fiat. Bitcoin is offering us a way to be on ourselves.
7972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you day trade or prefer a long term hold? on: April 05, 2018, 05:37:23 AM
So I'm slowly going into crypto and I want to know if any of you trade altcoins daily, or you prefer to hold it for long term? What do you think it's better and why?

Thanks

Day trading is the better option in terms of making bigger profits. But day trading is not an easy job. You must first equip yourself with the necessary capabilities for day trading like charting and making technical analysis. Only after learning all these necessary capabilities for day trading should you get into it. Because if you do not have all these capabilities, instead of earning you will end up losing. If you feel like you are not really fit for day trading then hodling is the other good option.
7973  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: day trading for quick profit on: April 05, 2018, 02:23:38 AM
Hello any suggestion for trade every day and make good profit ? like 50$ day.
i think the best pair are BTC USDT ? is possible to trade only this or need difference the crypto ?

If you prefer to do day trading, you need to maximize the entire crypto market. You cannot make daily profit if you just focus on the BTC:USDT pair. There are days when the Bitcoin market is all downtrend. You will be losing during those days. You need to explore the hundred plus pairs in the exchange platforms that you are using. Maximize all these pairs, and if you are already prepared in terms of day trading skills, you will reach your 50$ daily profit goal.
7974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is in danger? on: April 04, 2018, 02:45:04 PM
TRADINGEthereum and Bitcoin appear to be separating. ETH is in a 14-day uptrend while BTC is still in a 25-day downtrend.

They are separate of course because they are two different coins. Both are traded independently from each other. Moreover, the demands of Bitcoin and Ethereum are moving separately. So you cannot expect that the two will move at exactly the same time and with exactly the same pace.

You do not just count the number of days of their uptrend or downtrend movements. These movements show us something of course but not everything. Not a big deal in other words. Bitcoin has actually recovered more than Ethereum. Ethereum has more lost value as compared to Bitcoin.
7975  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency? on: April 04, 2018, 01:54:42 PM
We are all treating Bitcoin as the most important cryptocurrency right now. Except from a few handful of individuals who are strongly supporting a particular altcoin, nobody will deny that the strongest and the most trusted cryptocurrency since its beginning until today is Bitcoin. And we also want Bitcoin to become even a lot stronger and more trusted. However, I strongly believe about evolution or simply change. I mean, all aspects of our society evolve. Later on, at a particular time we cannot foresee, Bitcoin will also loses its timely value. Something will replace it eventually.
7976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risky move ? on: April 03, 2018, 01:07:55 AM
Not know why but i did sell all my alts today. And bought Tron TRX for them all. Now i hold a nice amount of TRX  Grin

MC is down to 280b today and the market not going anywhere soon. So i decided to buy the hype around TRX and move all my $ to this coin. Know this can be risky but if the price go up just a few cents i will make a nice profit.

This is one legit strategy in crypto investment but, as you said, it is full of risk. It is actually contrary to the experts' advice of spreading or diversifying your investment. Diversification of investment is always the safest option. However, you are right, that there is a bigger profit in an all-in strategy. A slight movement upward will already make you a nice gain. But this is a double-edged sword as the opposite movement will also give you a significant loss. It is totally up to you to risk try it.

You can do this best when there is a coin that is 100% expected to pump very soon.
7977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worry not! The Greatest Giants are with us! on: March 30, 2018, 01:16:17 AM

Because the truth is that the laws are not simply a case of black and white, of yes and no. There are always nuances and of minute details that would make everything a lot more complicated than it seems, that would cause a few legal stipulations contestable on the basis of what is also legal. We all know that something that is deemed legal may not actually be allowed at all times everywhere. Even a simple and seemingly perfectly legal and kind act of helping others in need may be considered punishable under certain circumstances. This is also very true to the legality of Bitcoin. In so many countries, the legality of Bitcoin is not an absolute and free pass. There are so many specific legal provisions that they have to abide with. For example, there are provisions in terms of taxation, in terms of security measures, and so on.
7978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to promote Bitcoin on: March 29, 2018, 03:44:19 AM
Sometimes, when I am hanging with my friends and we talk of various things that just spontaneously come to our minds, I intentionally inject the topic about crypto in a subtle way. More often than not, they are not showing any instant interest. But I still hope that I have planted at least a tiny seed in their minds about crypto. Who knows, perhaps sooner rather than later, they will encounter crypto the second time around and because they have heard it already in passing, they might finally become curious as to what it truly is. This might be the beginning of their interest.
7979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin is better than other coins? on: March 29, 2018, 02:51:23 AM
I have to be true, there are actually a lot of other cryptocurrencies out there that are much better than Bitcoin technology-wise. When Bitcoin started, it was all alone in the crypto kingdom. Bitcoin started to build everything in the kingdom of crypto all by itself. And it managed to make a great kingdom out of its own effort and vision. Everything that is in the crypto kingdom right now can be said to be just enjoying the fruits of the labor of Bitcoin. And because of this I give all the deserved credit to Bitcoin.

Actually, this is the primary reason why people stick to Bitcoin more than any other coin. It is the most trusted crypto because of this. In terms of privacy or anonymity, decentralized features, low transaction fees, fast confirmation time, etc, other new coins may defeat Bitcoin, but in terms of trust and solid followers, Bitcoin is far higher than any other coin.
7980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: March 28, 2018, 03:12:10 AM
I wish I was joking but this market will take at least 2 years to recover and build momentum again.
Market fundamentals have changed!

Which market fundamental has changed? Could you mention just one. Without any technical analysis or rational explanation supporting a speculation such as this, this will only amount to another man's wild guess of the market. And especially if we consider that the market we are talking about here is a highly unpredictable one, any guess as wild as this is does not have enough value, or at all. A speculation such as this can be categorized with those that are immediately claiming the death or end of Bitcoin simply because there is a dump.
