7981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Shut Up Bitcoin Haters on: May 08, 2018, 01:35:30 AM
Sometimes, these very noisy Bitcoin haters are so annoying I want to gag them with my huge earnings through Bitcoin. If only it is not a waste of money, I might have already done that a long time ago. Right now, I am just trying to keep my cool when I encounter the likes of them as these Bitcoin haters might find themselves important if we take up their arguments. Let them be. They are the ones who are not earning anyway.
7982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] GRON Digital - Gambling & Betting On the Blockchain on: May 06, 2018, 01:01:59 AM
Where are the devs here? It seems this has been left dead after the ICO. There are no more updates. I was one of those who took a look at this project and it appeared pretty good to me. But now it seems the people behind GRON Digital is nowhere to be found. The same is true in their official Twitter account. The bounty thread is also the same with the manager not even publishing any status.

Wake up!
7983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] FreelancerCoin [LAN] A blockchain freelancing platform on: May 05, 2018, 04:38:19 AM
What is going on with this project, the token is inactive for months now...

Allegedly there is a platform and a service being provided, but more and more the project is resembling a ghost town...

The CEO seemed like a sincere guy, if a bit inexperienced, he needs to hire a few strong professionals to help him get this platform off the ground, since their ICO can be considered a moderate success...

Too much silence is never good for a project. Even if such silence means the developers are too busy focusing on their product and their ultimate goal of giving their investors a run for their money, it might send a different connotation to some. As I have observed, some are even thinking that this project is already dead. It is primarily because the Freelancercoin people are silent everywhere. But, just a day or two ago, I read on their Twitter account that they are currently negotiating with COSS for their possible listing.
7984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is still Ok to invest in Etherium on: May 03, 2018, 01:20:48 PM
Hi guys,

I was trying to invest around 5K in Etherium. The price at the moment is around 1.2K and as it looks it is still growing. You think is it a good time to invest ?

You invested at a particular time when Ethereum and the whole cryptocurrency market was very bullish. You were right that Ethereum continued to rise even higher after reaching $1,200 but then after reaching around $1,400, the price of Ethereum along with the whole cryptocurrency market once again went down. And that lasted for at least 3 months. But now we are somehow recovering already. Ethereum has went back above $700. More growth is seen.
7985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin owner die. It means bitcoin also lost forever? on: May 02, 2018, 10:49:09 AM
That is not lost. It is still somewhere there but to no one's access anymore. That will not be deducted from the circulating supply either. Nobody would do that as there is no one who is in control of removing lost coins. There is actually no one in the Bitcoin team who has a way to determine whether the Bitcoins in someone's wallet is lost due or stolen or hacked.
7986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will kill itself on: May 02, 2018, 09:53:39 AM
One of the best features of Bitcoin is it's anonymity. This is also one of the reason why countries are banning or at least hesitant to embrace the technology. From money laundering to illegal drug transactions to human trafficking. We always blame the FUD from mainstream media, financial institutions like banks, the government etal. But do you think, the one that would "kill" Bitcoin is actually the nature of it.

Here's another news where Bitcoin was being used in an illegal activity. This will raise a lot of eyebrows because it concerns our children.

http://www.news.com.au/finance/money/investing/bitcoin-could-become-illegal-after-its-blockchain-was-discovered-containing-child-abuse/news-story/bf486e6e8de453fd7ad2abba019952dd

I don't agree. The reason you provided that you think will probably kill Bitcoin is also the very reason why Bitcoin came into a certain point of popularity. How can it kill Bitcoin when in fact it is the very life of Bitcoin? The reason why Bitcoin became the Bitcoin that the whole world came to know of is that it is decentralized, anonymous yet transparent, and digital. These the sources of convenience and efficiency of Bitcoin.
7987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token bounty must hold or sell? on: May 02, 2018, 09:15:58 AM
Many bounty campaign give token..often token bounty has not been paid .. you already exist in the market .. after the price paid it down drastically ... if we hold the token .. later will be able to rise or even added down the price of token bounty

If you hodl the token, most probably it will rise after some time. By the time the bounty participants are paid with such tokens, the project may not have yet started to build on their ideas and goals actually since its ICO has just ended. So it therefore takes some time from that point for the coin to really represent something that is being used by the project's clients. The growth will certainly follow the product and its release to the market.
7988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: May 01, 2018, 01:57:34 PM
Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.

I don't think it is necessary for the bounty hunters to undergo KYC. The bounty hunters will only receive a little portion of the tokens sold or minted. It is not that significant actually. What I agree with the KYC implementation is that it will cover those who invested in any ICO with a significant amount. Those who invested with little amounts can even be exempted from such process.
7989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is for day trading on: May 01, 2018, 01:00:06 PM
I see that people support that altcoin suits better for day trading, and not for holding. I just don't get why.

That is not true. For sure you have seen altcoins turned from a few cents to several dollars. I am sure you have known how Ethereum went to more than a thousand from just a few dollars when it started. I am sure you have heard about Lisk, Litecoin, Monero, Ripple, and so many other altcoins climbing so high in the charts after a year or more of existence. Hodling is not about Bitcoin or altcoin. It is about the future of a certain coin.
7990  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will have a price of $50000 on: April 28, 2018, 01:04:07 PM
Based on the news, bitcoin might hit $50000 by the end of 2018. Is this possible? If so, what are the reasons?

Yes, it is very possible. One of the reasons for me is that the demand will exponentially rise after Bitcoin will once again come back to its $19,000 price. $50,000 is not even triple the last all time high price of Bitcoin, which was hit quite a long time ago already. It was way back several months ago. It happened last year. And since then Bitcoin has not even returned near that price anymore. Once it goes near that, a huge inflow of Bitcoin investment is expected.
7991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: encourage others to crypto on: April 27, 2018, 02:35:51 PM
Will you encourage others to invest in crypto and explain to them that this is not a scam or a pyramiding activity?

I have been doing this already for quite some time. I find it a little easy to tell them that cryptocurrency is the future of the world's currency system because of the technologies that are indispensable with them. Take for example decentralization. This is so huge a matter that cryptocurrency is offering to the world's table. Take for example the blockchain technology. This is something that is truly a huge step forward if adopted by the whole world.
7992  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex is better? on: April 27, 2018, 01:14:10 PM
Been on poloniex for 6mos.. but someone told me that Bittrex is better
I am thinking if I transfer my funds to Bittrex ..

I was also a huge fan of Bittrex. Well, until now I am still using Bittrex. In fact, my Bittrex wallet still contains the major coins that I am holding. Bittrex used to have one of the longest list of coins. That is one of the reasons why I chose Bittrex. I can easily do trading because of the wide array of choices. However, I also admit that Bittrex has somehow gone down. They started to de-list coins, went through some rounds of glitches, stopped accepting new accounts, and went hard on their listing deals for new coins.
7993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the digital dollar on: April 25, 2018, 11:20:52 AM
I think it's not far if i say that dollar and bitcoin are actually the leaders of their platforms. What's also crazy is how this forum served as the source of consumers and a big factor in increasing the acceptability of bitcoin by people. Really the  design and everything about this  community is genius.

Remember that this forum is founded by no less than the man who started Bitcoin, Sathoshi Nakamoto. This is the same person or perhaps people who created the world of cryptocurrency. This is the reason why this forum is so precious to all Bitcoin fans and supporters.

Bitcoin is not only a digital dollar. Dollar is basically a limited currency. It is not used all over the world. Bitcoin is so much more than that because it goes beyond borders.
7994  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term vs. short term investing on: April 25, 2018, 10:41:10 AM
Hello my dear Bitcoin brothers.

I would like to ask you about your experience with day/swing trading vs. long term investing and also,
what was more profitable for you and what are pros and cons for both ways of trading?

This question interests me since market is very volatile and it can get quite easy to exploit daily range for a quick small profit.

Thank you fellas.

Day trade is perhaps the most perfect source of profit in cryptocurrency since the prices are always moving. It is of course better than swing trade and hodling in terms of profit generation. But you need to consider that day trading requires a lot of techniques and strategies, without which you are like a blind crypto trader not knowing when to pull out and when to enter.
7995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How far can Bitcoin go? on: April 25, 2018, 01:13:44 AM
How far can Bitcoin go guys? If the the Market Cap currently is $219 000 000 000, can Bitcoin ever be worth $200 000 000 000 with this market cap?

I am just curious, is the Bitcoin (or any coin) price caped by the Market Cap? Or the finite number of fiat money in the world?
Can a coin be worth more than it's market cap or can the value of a coin be equal with it's market cap if it's intensively traded/used?

You are confusing yourself. The value of the market cap of Bitcoin is the overall value of all the circulating supply of Bitcoin. Meaning to say, if you multiply all the circulating supply of Bitcoin and its current price you will come up with the market cap value. This is the same to all coins. The market cap has no limit. It simply moves along with the value of the coin. If the coin's value rises then the market cap will also rise and if the value of the coin goes down it will also go down. It's as simple as that.
7996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is Bitcoin become legal in all countries? on: April 24, 2018, 01:11:04 AM
Bitcoin is legal by some countries but some countries still not accepting the bitcoin.
What you think is Bitcoin become legal in all countries?

Other countries who are not giving up on their stance against Bitcoin will one day realize of the futility of their actions. Sooner or later, they will be left with no other choice but accept the number one currency in the world. Right now, they appear stubborn and even exhort their people to avoid using or investing in Bitcoin. Let us see up to where this resistance survives. I bet not too long.
7997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO] | Beaxy | 4% BXY REWARD | on: April 23, 2018, 02:03:42 PM
Hey there, Aerys2! I guess you are too busy to check your PMs. I sent you one and you did not reply. I just wanna inquire about our stakes which is not yet indicated for the 3rd-4th week. Will wait for your response. Thank you so much.
7998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is owning bitcoin a crime? on: April 22, 2018, 01:05:37 AM
I have yet to hear a single news that a specific country has implemented a law that goes as far as declaring anyone who owns a Bitcoin a criminal. I think that is way too high above the line. That is absurd as it is whimsical. There are countries who consider Bitcoin illegal but this does not mean that those who have some are criminals. It simply means that Bitcoin cannot be used as a currency by legally registered businesses.
7999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is NOT DEAD on: April 21, 2018, 10:54:07 AM
BTCBTCBTC
Bitcoin is not dead lol. The price is getting low but bitcoin will not die quickly we can recover it in somehow. Many people thought bitcoin is secretly dying I just wanted to say that its wrong Bitcoin will back soon to higher value.

BTCBTCBTC

Bitcoin can never be dead. How come Bitcoin die when it is still very much spreading its influence and revolution around the world? I think Bitcoin is not secretly dying. Instead, you are secretly doubting that Bitcoin is going to live long, aren't you? You might be one of those people who are easily affected by the news around us, whether such news are true or not. I do not have a little doubt that Bitcoin will wrap up this year with its value not less than $30,000.
8000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this true that GOOGLE will ban the ICO and crypto related ads? on: April 20, 2018, 03:16:45 PM
I am not sure on this because I think I have stumbled upon some ICO and cryptocurrency-related ads in Google just days ago. I am not sure though whether it is directly in Google or some through sites which I browsed through Google. But I think it is very much possible that Google did not really fully ban ICO and crytpocurrency-related ads. Just like Twitter. Until now, I can see a lot of ICOs being promoted through twitter. And even Facebook.
